Tim Hortons in other cities:
Work on customer service skills. Also make sure the customer has everything that you would need if you were the customer. Then do not yell out the window at the customer for holding up your drive thru line. When if the customer had there needs met they wouldnt have to be doing your job, and holding your line up. Examples: searching for a napkin (not gave), putting the sleeve on hot drinks (had to ask for a sleeve).
Its unfortunate but this store has literally hit rock bottom. The staff, at least those working today, couldnt get a simple bagel and coffee order right. The overall problem is with the franchise owners not the hourly employees. If you cant keep a store staffed with trained employees close it and put everyone at another store. Maybe it all boils down to bring Bill back and let him show management how its done.
They make my iced coffee correctly, but the speed of service is always bad. There doesn’t seem to be any urgency in moving the line. It doesn’t matter what time of the day, or if there are no cars or 5 cars. It’s the slowest location that I visit, and I visit Tim’s often.
Placed AND paid for an order through the app. Set to be ready in 10 minutes. We get there in 15 and I was told I had to wait in line then give my name so they can make my order. I thought the purpose of the app was to save time by avoiding the line.Went on the website to ask for my money back and got nothing. This was only a week ago so maybe soon.
I am a religious coffee drinker and loved TH but they have dropped the ball recently..they hired a new crew of kids who can’t make a hot coffee to save their life... first time I chalked it up to a bad day ..day 2 ehhh ok I’ll go in and have it remade...by day 4 I was done! River road is the new spot now...too bad because TH was the spot for 20 years!
Every thing was going great until the manager lied an acted as if I was trying to steal some cream cheese I paid 2.20 for.. She claimed SHE put it in my bag, an the only thing in my bag was 2 bagels an some napkins. I just thought that was kinda rude 🤷♀️ I doubt i ever go back to the 21st street location in Newark. I will go the extra mile an go to heath
Muffins & Donuts were hard definitely not fresh. The girl who took our order was inpatient & curt. We were told they didn’t have something we wanted them five minutes later they did have it, so they have no idea what they have in stock. Our sandwiches were made very sloppy. The only good thing about our visit was the chips and coffee but it’s not hard to make black coffee. Half way through our visit a woman came in and was talking so loudly it echoed through the restaurant. She was talking about something that customers don’t want to hear. I couldn’t even talk to my fiancée who was right next to me because she was being so loud.
On 2-14-20. I went inside .the coffee was great.but they have a manager that has red hair. I find her very rude and very loud. I know that I would not want to sit inside and listen to that. she sounds like she doesnt want to be there.I have never been to a place that fhe manager talks like that.I felt sorry for anyone who has to work with her. They need to get rid of her.she is bad for business. The rest of the crew is great.
This location is pretty bad. Never have the right cups, not the right lids, iced cappuccino machine is always down or they say they are cleaning it, food quality is poor IF they have what you try to order and they ALWAYS ask you if you want your change back???? What??? Yes, it’s mine! Wow!!! The one in Heath is perfect! This location is far from it!
First time I seen Tim Hortons in States I said thank you .... I died and went to heaven. I got my Canadian fix I was like a kid in the candy store certain Tim Hortons make the best coffee around and some of them make it strong me nope I dont like it strong thats why I cant go to the other coffee shops and grew up with Tim Hortons and I wont change..🇺🇸🇨🇦☕🍩
The coffee stinks, actually smells, and they cannot mix a latte to save their life! They always end up tasting like dirty water regardless of the flavor you order. Would rather get coffee from somewhere else. Service and quality of food are seriously diminished. Ordered an assorted box of Timbits, 40 pack, and got 2 different types of doughnuts half of them being stale.
Your bus driver 4U . Hi guys . Some places that I think that are great . One of them is Tim Horton and the other 1 is Dunkin donuts. But sensor we talking about Tim hortons lets stay with that the a coffee is great their sandwiches are OK if it was up to me I would just change the type of bacon that they use I think they can use a better bran of bacon you know maybe Canadian bacon or something but just a different type of bacon that they use but the sandwich is still decent . The donuts are really good, and the muffins are great . So if you looking for a place with good coffee, some muffins and some sandwiches, Then thats the place to go check him out
First shift is super friendly and fast. Second shift on the other hand is rude, never say thank you..if you don’t like your job or customers find another. I’m through there everyday. During this pandemic, be lucky you have a job!!! I’m totally over the ladies being rude. I always say “thank you” even if they don’t.
Its okay. I really want to pay one cent short and ask if they want the penny. I know its only a penny but of course I want it. I worked for it and earned it. Do they let their vendors keep the change? If that penny goes to charity thats a different story but theyve never stated that. Food is not great but coffee is okay.
The staff is usually fairly professional, the establishment is fairly clean, the food is fairly good, and the food preparation is fairly timely. I definitely recommend this Tim Hortons over other Time Hortons I have been to.I have been to this establishment over the years and this is my personal opinion about this specific establishment.
Went in today and bought 3 unsweetened iced teas. Got to my car and took a drink and all 3 ended up being sweet. So I took them back in and explained that they had given me sweet tea on accident and the lady who served it told me she got it from the unsweetened tea machine. The manager came over and tried a cup and said that it tasted fine. Another worker poured some in a cup and let me try and asked if thats how mine tasted and I said yes, it tastes like sweet tea. The manager again told me thats just how it tastes. Funny because i get it here all the time and it never does.Another employee said I was the second person who brought it back and after trying it he agreed that it tasted sweet, perhaps its a sign that theres an issue? The manager finally concluded that well someone must have made a mistake. Never once was there an attempt to make fresh tea or solve the problem, just meh, sorry about your luck.
The cashier was great but the women the was with her helping make food was so rude and nasty.. the women at the front was handicapped and the other women was mean, hateful and nasty to her. The cashier was trying to get our order completed and having a hard time because she couldnt locate the bread that was used for one of our sandwiches, and the lady came around her and started yelling at her if you needed my help and cant do it Ill do it, you cant seem to do anything, and we are out of that bread do your going to have to tell them that we cant complete their sandwich the way its supposed to be and If they want to pick another kind of bread out. And with the same breath turns and says oh never mind I have one left. The poor girl at the front look so embarrassed and I felt so bad for her. She was doing the best she could and really was rocking and rolling. She made out lattes with no problem and they are great!
Was just in this store. Busy enough, but the employees were so unfriendly. About 7 or 8 of them in total. NOT a single one of them acknowledged me or any other customer in the store, nor did any of them wear s smile on their face. The one girl i asked for a specific item, acted as if it was a chore to find the answer for me, once she did find the answer she just walked away as if she was done with me. I had planned on getting a rather large order, but with customer service like that, NO THANK YOU!!
My family and I have been customers of this franchise since it was built. We have made our last visit. This evening my wife and I went through the drive thru. Order was medium hot green tea with milk. It is necessary to specify hot because we have received an iced green tea with milk before. The first cup came with two tea bags and a sippy cup lid which leaks. All my wife wanted was for the drive thru worker to remove one tea bag and replace the lid. The worker took the cup and left for a noticeably long length of time. When the worker returned she handed the second cup out the window with a less than cheery verbal delivery. The cup had one tea bag, yeah, but it had been either made with all milk and heated in microwave or made with steamed milk. We pull around and my wife went in. She was berated by the manager on duty saying that is what you ordered. Pretty sure tea should be day one training: hot tea = one (1) tea bag + medium cup of hot water.
My order came to $17.64 I gave the cashier a 10 and told him to put the rest on my card. When I got home I checked my account to find out he took my 10 and still charged $17.64 on my card. Causing me a $37 overdraft fee. When I called the general manager he told me he would give me the $10 back and a gift card and would look into the problem. When I came in 4 hours later to get it I was handed $10 and a pathetic $10 gift card and was told thats all he could do and he still hadnt looked into it. So not only was it a giant inconvenience it was also a rip off and a slap in the face
As far as chain style coffee shops goes,I would say that Tims is par for the course.I hardly ever go inside, mostly just a drive through customer.I am addicted to the dark roast...SOOOOOOOOOOOO good. For the most part,my interactions with drive through staff has been amicable. As with what you would expect with most coffee shops, the prices are a tad more than just your average cup o joe elsewhere. But,I do believe that you (usually) get what you pay for.If not then that is when I make a complaint. Sadly the doughnuts and sandwiches are not fresh. You can tell that they are all shipped in pre-made/frozen and then just warmed up and pieced together. That being said, they still are not bad, just cant hold a candle to the likes of Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Doughnuts.Overall,I would say if you want a pretty good coffee though,if you are a local, stop by and give them your business once in awhile. If you are new to the area or just passing through and have never tried a THs give it a shot.

2022-07-20Ive always loved Tim Hortons, I get my breakfast here in the mornings before school. Today I got a turkey club croissant sandwich, a breakfast sandwich, and two caramel capps. It was 11:15 am and the woman running the drive was just a little rude. We often couldnt understand her because she was quiet and so she would snap and say it again with an attitude. She originally said it was 16.20$ and then changed it to 21$ and didnt get a receipt. I questioned this and she snapped a comment about this isnt price is right. It wasnt busy so I dont understand why she hurried us. The food is delicious but the person wasnt very nice. She had tattoos but no name tag on. So I dont know who it was.

2022-05-26Most of the people that work here have horrible attitudes. I feel like they just make the drinks however they want. A girl made my drink incorrectly (it was missing 2 ingredients) and she rolled her eyes and said it tasted better without it. They weren’t even busy when she did that, she literally made it incorrectly on purpose. If I order something I want what I ordered.

2022-07-13Worst customer service ever !! They didn’t even know what number there meals were and didn’t have half of the ingredients . When I asked them to repeat what they miserably mumbled through the speaker they became rude ! When I got my drink it was watered down and in a smaller size than I ordered… unfortunately even though we live right down the street we will be taking our money else where.

2021-12-17Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! The woman was upset with me because I was looking at the menu too long but not even a minute had passed. It happened 12/17/21 at noon. The woman needs fired or wrote up.

2022-06-11Revoltingly dirty, both in the dining area and the restrooms. And the food keeps getting worse
