Last Friday, It was supposed to be a black tie affair, but at the last minute I was told it was now a summer garden affair. I went into the Beachwood store, the sales man Daniel L. I told him, I have 10 minutes to pick out an outfit. Daniel, Found me a sport coat that actually fit good. a shirt, belt, pants that had to be hemmed, and lastly socks. He put the whole outfit together . Completely finished included the hemming of the pants in less then 10 min. Every thing fit perfectly, I made it to the Garden Gala with in time. They did an AWSOME JOB !!!!!!!!!!
Started this journey a year ago to have Ticknor’s custom fit and tailor suits for my wedding. 9 suits total - each at around $400 with pants, shirt, jacket, pocket square and tie. It is always a nice option for everyone to be able to purchase instead of rent, so we did just that. We mainly dealt with Scott who was helpful throughout the process even with the following blunders. First, they bring everyone in to fit just the jacket. Then send everyone home. Then you go in again, to have the shirt, pants and coat tailored. Lastly you go in once again to try everything on for a final fitting. IF everything fits, you’re good to go. Unfortunately this is where Ticknor’s lacked the most experience. 4 of 6 suits measured from their location were wrong. Some were cut 2” high on the pant and more than 3” short on the jacket. Again, creating more trips back to the store where some lived over 2 hours away. I had one groomsmen go in for his final fit and they still had chalk and pins in the shirt and pants, never even touched for over a month. They lost his pocket square and tie, which had to be overnighted to their store the day of the wedding, and still the pocket square was wrong. My father had to have his pants lengthened more than 2”. I (groom) had to have my pants lengthened more than an inch and I just did this at another Ticknor’s store because of the mishaps that had happened at Beachwood locations. We spent more than $4000 on these suits and I’ll tell you, i wish we had done this elsewhere. They make look nice from the outside but they seriously lack in inexperience. They did give the Father of the Bride a $50 gift card for their mistakes, but nothing to the actual groom who had to hear every mistake that they made over the phone. At one point Scott had to FaceTime me to ask me again what my colors were that I picked out during the initial fitting. 1/5 stars would NOT recommend this store for any grooms searching.
I Love them and my 17 year old son loves them the sales people are excellent very friendly up on the styles for the younger and older generation. We shopped there for homecoming and we will be going back for prom.
So many great things to say about the Beachwood location. I worked with John for my wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic. Luckily, things opened just in time for our wedding and they were able to get me in for 2 separate fittings post my initial order. I would highly recommend them to anyone on the fence about who to use for any occasion. Thanks again!

I needed two suits for two different occasions, and they set me up. Yes... They do suggest a lot of extras... But anything i said no to wasnt brought up again. As a first time suit buyer i couldnt have asked for a better experience and am very pleased with the while experience.

My brother, future father-in-law, and I all needed suits for my wedding. At Ticknors we met Matthew, who took excellent care of us. He helped us find the suits and accessories that we wanted, which were untraditional, rather than pushing what he thought we should wear.When taking measurements for the suits, Matthew listened to how we wanted them altered. Once they were altered, I decided that I wanted the pants slimmer, and he remeasured and realtered the pants. My brother decided he wanted to be measured closer to the wedding date, which Matthew allowed/helped him to do. All three of us were thrilled with the final suits!I would highly recommend Ticknors and Matthew for finding the right suit and getting it tailored as you wish.
The salesmen here are very helpful. Great quality clothing, alterations on site. They will make sure what you buy looks great and fits perfectly.

2022-05-22The guys here were great. I needed a suit for my daughters wedding. Im a guy who never wears suits. They fit me with a black Mantoni wool suit for about $400. Love it. I wore it til nearly the end of the evening. It was so comfortable. Especially the jacket. They didnt pressure me at all to buy extras. Love you guys. Will be recommending you to others

2020-10-20When I first picked up my new pants, I got home to find all the suspender buttons sewn on the inside was randomly placed. I had to drive all the way back to Ticknors to fix this. After they fixed it, about a week later, a button popped off during a business meeting. Upon inspection of the other buttons, it looks like they werent sewn on correctly, and three more buttons are incredibly loose. Now I have to come out of my own pocket to get a proper tailor to fix this issue.

2021-12-31I’m just a goofy dude, looks kind of like a bum. Wandered in looking like I’ve been working the fields. They treated me like I was all they were worried about. They dressed me in some top notch gear and made me feel like my patronage was appreciated. It feels good to not be judged by my every day attire.

2021-10-24Good options, but not everyone is as knowledgeable as everyone else. My groomsmen and I all had different experiences, depending on who we had to assist us. While I didnt have any issues personally, several of my groomsmen had issues with their suits. From wrong measurements to wrong suits altogether, it was certainly an experience. Im glad they were able to figure everything out.

2021-03-04Amazing customer service. Went to grab a few sport coats for work and the guys were able to help out plus some. The coats fit great and they had them in record time! Love supporting local businesses rather than those big box stores like Mens Warehouse. These guys offer quality, service and great prices! Do yourself a favor and check them out!
