2022-07-04What a lovely evening. Boxed meal and a terrific speaker. This is a Columbus event not to be missed. Check it out, as there are several more this summer.

2018-05-07Took a trip to Columbus for some Paranormal fun and did a surprise visit to The Thurber House — the tour guide was amazing! We enjoyed our visit and for some awesome EVPs! Mame does not like her portrait!

2018-11-01I have been reading Thurber for over 50 years. Visiting the house I had read about so often was wonderful. The stories were made real for me. I highly recommend visiting the house to all Thurber fans, even if only to see the stairs the ghost ran up.

2020-02-20An interesting museum in the house that James Thurber lived in and wrote about. Thurber was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He became a writer and cartoonist. He spent much of his career writing and drawing for the New Yorker magazine. The house is furnished much as it was in 1917.

2018-12-16Literature lovers will want to visit the historic Thurber House, which is ranked first. The former residence of the literary cartoonist and writer James Thurber was transformed into a Thurber and Literature Museum. You can take a free self-help tour of Thurber House on any day of the week, or attend a regular literature show, such as an evening with the author. During the summer, you can enjoy a picnic dinner and a demonstration by a featured writer during the summer picnic series.

2018-10-08Beautiful home that takes you back to the days of James Thurber. There is lots of neat history in this house. This is where Thurber lived with his family while he was going to The Ohio State University.
