Actually had the nerve to charge me $10 to hold a package less than an hour at their stupid store as a result of a mistake by company package was sent from. Also dont allow alcohol to be shipped to their store unlike a more reputable and reliable company like Fed Ex. Staff rude as well stating just dont let it happen again as I am leaving. Reasons number 1000-1003 I never use UPS for my shipping needs. Would never have gotten this from Fed Ex. Avoid this location at all costs. Visit 7/26/17 @ 2:45 pm.

The staff didn’t answer the phone for 30 minutes (picked up and hung up) and then when he did pick up he left me on hold for 20 minutes before I had to hang up and call back. When I finally got a hold of him he was dismissive and unhelpful. Why do I even have to deal with this store, just attempt to redeliver my package the next day.
Ive had a couple of reasons to return items and did so at the UPS store on Monroe St. in Sylvania. Both times the staff was helpful and quite knowledgeable of what was needed and I was in and out in very short order.
Used this store for freight forwarding for several years. Some of my packages where large and heavy. They were easy to work with, accurate and reasonably priced.

Very nice, I went to get some papers notarized after my bank would not do it. took real good care of me and my wife. Had us in and out and helped us organize the paperwork.

I was waiting for my package at home and they just left a sticky notes on my door say no one is available. If you came to deliver, why do you just put notice instead of knocking on door and deliver? why?
There is another UPS store closer to me, but the staff at the Monroe St. location is friendlier and more helpful. I know my packages will get where theyre going.

2022-06-30I really like going to this UPS. I called this morning to see if they had a notary working today. They answered the phone right away. Answered my question and have very good customer service. All the staff is friendly, helpful, and treat you as they would want to be treated. I would recommend this UPS to everyone. 2022-08-10Called regarding business printing. Spoke to someone about doing door hangers. The lady didnt have the knowledge to help me so transferred me over. This next lady says yes we offer but we have to buy the product Ill call you back with a price. Ok great I say. 6 hours later and me calling and leaving voicemails with no response. Talk about poor customer service. Very disappointed. So much for buying local

2021-02-27Grateful for the excellent and caring staff at this UPS. They packaged my sisters belongings and shipped to me in CA. They not only covered the cost of a damaged chair but even reimbursed the shipping and packing expense. They were gracious and responsive. It meant so much in my time of loss.

2020-12-09I am not happy at all with UPS. I understand they need to charge a little more than USPS for various reasons but after today I dont think I will ever ship with UPS.I went to mail a Christmas gift to my parents. Its a 6 cube weighing 7.8 ounces. They told me it would cost $19 and change. I was caught off guard and laughed a little thinking he was kidding but he was serious. That was the cheapest option UPS had. I said no thanks and left and drove to USPS. USPS charged me $4.65 to mail the same package to the same address. Thats almost 400% charge over USPS.I have nothing bad to say about the staff but the cost is comical.

2019-12-22I am a regular at this UPS store. I cant say enough good things about the personnel, especially Beverly the manager. I feel like a friend when I bring my packages in......always greeted and called by name.Last week I even got a hug from a former employee named Kristen, who was coming in to help out with the Christmas rush. Hope you are as fortunate at your other stores to have people like these manning the ship(ping).

2019-06-04Kirsten is awesome!!! I went in today again and she was very friendly even though I was not helped by her. Why I mention her name is because I had horrible experiences at the UPS on Central Ave in Toledo. I had pretty much given up on them and was turning to Feed-Ex (which should be known for Feeding extra $ for Extra bad service) even though I was previously a UPS man. Kirsten gave me such polite, efficient, and overall awesome service, I decided to continue my business here at this location. All of the staff has been great and I just want to recommend using UPS over another service due to the prices, services, and effectiveness I have received from UPS. Employees make a difference, and Kirsten and her crew can make a difference in your day if you need their services! Great job everyone at Sylvania UPS!

2019-06-05Give this place a 5+ star because of their great customer service and positive attitude every time I go there. I am a box customer and love it there and the staff that works there. The manager Beverly is awesome and will make sure you get taken care of and goes out of her way to make sure of it. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated like a VIP star! 2019-11-16I sent a package overseas on 8/5/2019. To this date, 11/16/2019 it has not been delivered, it has not been returned to me and I have not received the $435.00 refund that was promised over a month ago, We are now approaching four months since this nightmare started and I haven’ t even had the courtesy of a phone call. If I want information I must call them. Do yourself a favor and use FedEx, I really wish that I had. A nightmare. Oh, did I mention that the package was going to a serviceman working for NATO?
