The UPS system for picking up packages at this store is terrible. Twice now I have been notified by the UPS app that a package was ready to be picked up, only to be told upon arrival that the package will not actually be available for another 24 hours. The people who work there say It happens all the time, with no indication that UPS is working to solve the problem. The counter people are absolutely clueless and couldnt care less about customer service. I will avoid using this store in the future. A waste of my time and an unnecessary aggravation.
I received an email stating I could pickup my package, that it was ready. Went to store at 12:30 and was told they had no package there for me and insisted that it could be on the way there. I went to the Customer Care Center and they looked up my package and said it was delivered and signed for at 10:14 at the front desk. I went back and the same girl said there was nothing there for me even after I showed her that it was delivered there and signed for. I asked to see the manager. She said she’d get someone to help me since the manager had just left. She went to the back room and came back with my package, and not very friendly. I’ll try not to go back to this location in the future.
According to UPS tracking, my very precious package, worth over $500, never even made it out of this store. Therefore, they will not allow me to make a claim, as it was never scanned into the system. Ive called multiple times and left tons of messages to speak with the owner Peter, in order to recoup the insurance money. I have been ignored for over a month. I will now be forced to file in small claims court.
Went there today and waited from 850 to 915. No one was there and store was locked up. How about posting signs or a website notification. Myself and others that were there also waiting would appreciate it. Went to Perrysburg store and got in and out quickly. Poor customer service. I wont be back.
Very dissapointed with this business. I drove 1hr away as this was the closest UPS store. I dropped off a package to be wrapped up and shipped so paid a premium (If I had a box and bubble wrap I would of shipped it myself) but that is what this company is supposed to do. I dropped the package off on September 29th and the girl behind counter said they were busy and it would not go out until the next day, I said that is fine. Today October 7th 1 week and 1 day later customer calls and said package shows that it hasnt shipped yet. I drove an hour to stop at store again and spoke with girl behind counter, once I told her what package was she said its in back that they been so busy and under staff that they havent gotten to it yet.I asked her to speak to manager and she said manager wont be in until after 4pm, I left my number and asked for manager to call me today. I did not receive a phone call.I dont know how the owner operates and runs this store but I am going to guess not to well with what has happened with my package, if I was the owner I would be there until all packages are packaged and ready to ship that night if no workers do it, also I would have called customer and told them that there is going to be a delay.
Very disappointing. Would not help me find envelopes or boxes to get my Amazon stuff back. Last week when I was at another UPS location the gentleman waiting on me took my stuff found boxes and took care of it for me. Meredith here was not willing to even try and help. Will definitely visit the Perrysburg store from now on and avoid Maumee.
Usually don’t have an issue with this location. However, today I came to ship an item and they were closed. Two other people showed up thinking they were open as well. The sign in the window says 10-3 and so does the website. I wasted time today and have to return tomorrow before work to make this happen. If this location isn’t going to be open on Sunday’s they need to change the store hours in both places to avoid confusion.
I used UPS MyChoice to change the delivery address for one of my orders. They still delivered it to the original address. Which I had to drive an hour to pickup my package from my friend. And I had even paid to get my address changed. Same situation happened, when I requested a delivery hold since I was going on vacation. But instead, they just delivered my package and left it there. That could’ve easily got STOLEN. But, I came back 3 days later, and thank the lord, the package was still there. Guys, don’t choose UPS. They ignore every request the customer demands. It feels almost like, the website and the physical store are two separate businesses. Nothing you do on the web applies to your packages. The only thing you can do is track your packages. Disappointing.
The UPS delivery driver never gave notice of final delivery, the item I was supposed to receive was being sent back to shipper. It was an important item. I was frustrated, how was I supposed to know it was getting sent back if the driver never left anything for me to see?I contacted Linda, and she was very helpful. There was an issue with releasing the package within their system. She went above and beyond by helping me out, and getting the package released to me. I am very grateful, and she is the only reason I will ever consider UPS again. Thank you Linda, you made a huge difference.
Who works there....santa? Because I never hear a knock, no footsteps or nothing. Just their door as they leave.IF YOU HONESTLY HAVE TO DELIVER TO A APARTMENT COMPLEX and the door to the building is locked. Why dont you just leave it at the office????? THIS HAPPENS TOO OFTEN. I bet they be having those slips ready before it even gets to the door.
I have used several services at this particular UPS location in Maumee, Ohio. You can leave USPS mail to be picked up, of course UPS services, and other smaller things like laminating, office and packaging supplies. It is convenient, accessible and the customer service is exceptional. I especially like the owner and staff and Linda, the owner/manager, has helped me mail and get a file off the computer to return an item, when my home printer quit working.
They stole 500 dollars from me and they will not give me my money because they said it’s the sender’s fault. But it’s their fault because they didn’t ask whether he had money or not. They cannot just assume everyone knows about that. It also seems that they lost my documents. It’s the worst store I have ever received service from. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anybody. They are thief BE CAREFUL!!!!!
I was waiting on 7 live lobsters that were due at 10:30 this morning. Then, bad weather in Kentucky - I was freaking out. I called the 800 number to see if I could just get them from the warehouse. Millie called me about 8 minutes and assured me they were on the truck and would be here today!

2022-04-06Sad to say all these one-star reviews are true, but that’s the case.They’ve steadily gone downhill since ownership changed hands last year. These days they’re never open during regular hours anymore. It’s always hit or miss, mostly misses lately. Haven’t been able to get my package that was delivered there for two weeks now. Then Amazon sends me texts and emails about how they couldn’t deliver my other packages to the UPS store because they’re not open. I was there on Monday at 12:30pm (even though they’re supposed to be open at 8:30am) and still nobody was there. On top of the that, the owner completely doesn’t care about his customers’ concerns or complaints. He just snarls at you, never admitting there are any problems with the place. Nobody ever answers the phone either. And the place is a real wreck, boxes piled everywhere. Hopefully UPS will listen to all these complaints and realize their reputation is going down the tubes.

2022-06-30Did an amazon return at this location in June 22. Was in and out in less than five minutes. There was a hiring manager sign in the window so it seems they got rid of whomever earned them a surplus of one star reviews. Store was clean and organized. Employee was helpful and efficient.

2022-05-03Didnt have a problem like the others. I received a notification about my package being there and went to get it within an hour. The lady was nice and quick, there was a cart full of packages so I can imagine they are understaff. The young lady seemed as though she was working as quickly as she can.

2022-03-20Disorganized always a clutter.I arrived at 9:15am as the site and signs on the door says it opens at 9 AM on Saturdays. Store was closed, locked up with other customers frustrated. No one answering phones or showed up. Had to go back at noon and received no apology.Last time I went to the store we could barely walk in as boxes piled up everywhere. I had a prepaid box they told me just to leave it on the floor with the other mess. Never got shipped. Probably lost or stolen since boxes were overflowing out the door. Place is a joke

2022-03-23This store has gone down hill quickly since a new owner took over. The latest issue is the store is randomly closed during regular business days with no explanation to customers. Packages are strewn everywhere and no mail service is provided to box holders. Avoid this UPS location at all costs.

2022-04-04This is the third time within the last couple months that I have showed up within business hours (which tbh varies everyone. Answering machine says 8:30 they open. Google says 9) but I always show up 9:30-10 and they aren’t open. And there are always tons of otherPeople waiting to get in as well. They need to get their business hours figured out and have them posted properly. It’s unfair to customers.

2022-08-08Garbage, absolute gargbage institution. I called to save myself a 1 day DELIVERY. To be told, ya COME on down to maumee FOR his store. To travel 1hr 40 minutes this way south, to not get my delivery. AFTER callin, to get it FROM this number. Dont waste your time. Get another carrier.

2022-06-26Went there this morning due to the web site stated it was open. Well we got there and the place was closed.i checked their site just to confirm, and yes it says open until 3pm. Plus the site stated it was just updated 2 weeks ago. With the cost of gasoline, this was a total waste of time and gas. Thanks for nothing UPS.

2022-02-27This location is NOT open on Sundays! The sign on their door, Google, and the UPS website all say they are open from 10-3. However, when you call this location on Sunday, nobody ever picks up and the voicemail states nothing about being open on Sunday. All it says is that they are currently with other customers. Save yourself a trip and dont go on Sundays! This store needs to update their hours!!

2021-12-06We arrived at the store at approximately 1:00 this afternoon. There was a line from the counter to the door, with people getting their pre-Christmas shipping done. We needed to return a package to Amazon that was damaged when it arrived. I fully expected to be waiting for an extended time.The 3 ladies working the counters and front of the store were EXTREMELY efficient! They were professional and pleasant to each customer and had us all through the line within 5-10 minutes. I am very impressed with how quickly and efficiently we were taken care of.
