Customer-friendly is not a goal of this location.Charging $2.50 to print out a UPS label is crazy steep, when other UPS stores will do it for free, or at minimal cost if you’re dropping off a package at their location.Never again will I do business with this location.
The service and friendliness at this UPS location is amazing! The owner Kent, is frequently at the store assisting customers and help his team. My husband and I visit this location and the one in Middletown frequently. We will never go back to FedEx or USPS. The team and community that Kent has built is awesome.
Twice now, Ive had UPS packages that need to be returned. The online merchants pay for the return-shipping. Ive taken the packages to this location and they tell me they need to charge an additional $2.00 to slap on about $0.05 worth the tape because my package isnt up to their standards. While I understand theyre in the business to make money, they proudly display the banners UPS, Owned by a local community member and Happily returns holiday items. Nothing about that place feels community-like. What average person keeps shipping tape around for those few times a year they ship something?This is the opposite experience I get compared to the FedEx store around the corner. From my personal experience, and hopefully the owner/management reads this, you can see who is going to be getting my business next time I ship something.Fortunately, both times, the merchants worked with UPS to pickup the package from my house without a hitch. UPS never complained about either package. I would suggest asking to have UPS pickup from your house instead of going to this store. I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with UPS, and probably just pays to use the brand name.
I have to agree with the other reviews. The man at the counter was rude and unfriendly. Charged ridiculous amount for box and to pack the box. Wouldn’t even pack it while I was there. Worst UPS store I have ever used. Will never use that location again. Management needs to address their staff hence the reasons for such low ratings for service.
Theyre very busy right now (12/2020) as expected. Theres a wait line outside the store where you have to get a number before you get helped. Theyre making sure everyone who enters wears a mask and make sure you have an appointment if you need something notarized. Bring the original copy of your documents too when have them notarize because they wont notarize your copies without seeing the original. Dont sign anything either cause they need to see you sign before they notarize it. They try to be helpful though its just that the wait time is quite a bit and its out in the cold.
If I could give zero stars I would. Here i am again 7 months later writing another bad review about the service from this store. You can feel the negative energy when you walk in. The man at the store is the absolute worst, and his bad mannerisms have rubbed off on the female workers. Every time I go in and get bad service Im gonna write a new review. GET RID OF THAT MAN, HES WORST THAN COVID.
Staff seems nice every time Im there. The people who give this place a low rating seem to just be upset with how any shipping service works whether its because they were charged for packing supplies or stood online when they didnt need to.If you have a pre paid Amazon label on your box just take it to the counter and say you just needed to drop it off and dont need a receipt and they will say okay thank you.The only time that I stood in line here when I needed a receipt the slow service was not at all due to the staff it was due to customers who were clueless or just slow. Once I got to the register the lady greeted me and apologized for the wait.
I scheduled a pick up with Amazon and an item i needed refunded... this scheduled pick up was on a Friday. I was in my apartment the ENTIRE time, about 15 to 20 feet from my front door, never heard a knock the whole day. About 7pm that evening, i opened my door to go check my mail, and there was a hanging tag on my doorknob saying the driver attempted the pickup... etc., the driver did NOT attempt this pickup and i had to throw my item away, losing my refund in the process. The UPS driver was obviously lazy and didnt want to make the effort to KNOCK on my door and pick up the package he/she was supposed to initially pickup. The refund was only 25 bucks, and i could really care less at this point; however, UPS needs to make darn sure THEIR DRIVERS DO THEIR JOBS!!!!!
The guy at the counter was flat out rude. I was telling him why I was there and he was doing the inpatient just hand me the box hand motion. He begrudgingly did the transaction and then I said thank you. He grunted something unintelligible. The only thing he really said to me was that I couldnt leave the box that I had brought in as part of the packaging of the item that I was returning to Spectrum. Appearantly they dont take those, so I had to take it with me.
I just left this location with some Amazon drop-offs and I was impressed with the flow of how they got customers in and out. I like their ticket setup outside the only issues I seen were from customer who would not follow the signage outside. I would return back to this location.
Rules literally change depending on who is working. Number system enforced loosely some days, others not. 3 days ago, anyone with prepaid label and packaged could just set item on counter and leave. Today, had to stand in line 15 minutes with 1 prepaid labeled box. Took 11 seconds inside to drop off. Ridiculous.
Our Business has used this store for years. Well, after being turned away yesterday - never again! It was too much trouble so they refused to send a UPS package to our Customer because the shipping charges were being billed to the Customer!Last month, their excuse was that if youre sending UPS Collect - it has to go UPS Second Day!!! Of course, for an additional charge to our Customer.Shame on you UPS!
Not once, but twice Ive had terrible service at this particular location.The 1st time I specifically requested the cheapest shipping method, and the lady rang it up. I was being reimbursed so I didnt really mind, but only after there was no turning back because I had already paid did the lady tell me it was 2 day shipping (hence the reason the cost skyrocketed).The 2nd, most recent instance had me standing in line for 15 minutes enduring slow service to the 2 people in front of me while 2 registers were open. The line grew 6 deep, including myself. I just needed to drop off off a package and ask for it to be package-taped on the one side. When I asked for this, the rep said itd cost $2. I laughed because this was a funny joke. The rep kept a straight face and said he wasnt kidding. I could not believe this and walked out.I work in customer service, and I found it atrocious that they would not even consider arguably the most minimal request. Ill never go back.
I order a custom box promised by manager and was charged an outrageous price, i came to pick up the box the following week at the time the manager said it would be available for pickup, of course when i arrive she is not there, nor does the staff know anything about it. So they take my info and say they will call once they know a time. So about an hour later i get a call stating the owner would be there with the box at the ups store by 930. Long story short. I got at the store at 9:50 and she was not there, 15 min later she comes in with an attitude, does not applogize whatsoever for my inconvenience and acts the whole time like its some huge inconvenience she had to bring the box. This was a very disappointing experience, ill be sticking to my local post office for any type of shipping. The store owner sucks at customer service, explains why the manager does.
I brought in an item I listed on eBay and wanted a shipping estimate to CA, the furthest point, so I would know what I could expect the greatest shipping cost to be. I was asked for the CA ZIP code, I didn’t know one and told her that any CA ZIP would do. Again, she told me she needed a ZIP code and offered no help finding one. How is it a that company that ships anywhere in the world cannot provide me with a CA ZIP code? I thanked her picked up my item and she said nothing as I walked out the door. The female employee was unconcerned, and simply too lazy, to assist me.I took my item to the Springboro store where I asked for the very same assistance and was treated kindly and gladly provided with all the help I needed. Where, by the way, they have a five star rating.
Complaint...Kindly note I visited your office on August 6, 2019 to sent my passport to other country (United Arab emirates) and your staff I dont know how she sent it through USPS.. while USPS office far from you 3 mins by car which I can do it if I want... any how currently this is not my concern... my issue your staff told me it will take around 7 to 10 till your shipment reached to final distention and today is 29 August and nothing has been reached to the final distenation. And I dont know where is my shipment.. in additional your staff told me it will be tracking and unfortunately its tracking inside USA only not outside the country. Now I am in big trouble and I need my passport back... you charge me more
This location should be shut down. Agreeing with majority of the other reviews but there is a man who works the front counter who is not only rude, but demeaning and unprofessional. This seems to be an issue that starts with management bc the issues still have NOT been resolved. If you need to send a package avoid this location at all costs
I understand we are all in business to make money but Ive dropped several prepaid packages off. Some of the boxes have been taped and some have not. Apparently if you dont tape the opening they charge you a 2 dollar fee. I know it sounds ridiculous but if you charge for something you guys need to be consistent. Would of never known its been like that for 2 years now. So tape up your box if your going to use them. You may or may not get charged!!!!
This is the worst UPS store in this area. They are so freaking unfair with their rates and service. The staff is very ignorant and they treat their customers with so much disrespect. And there is no policy from UPS to charge you for using their tape (2 cm). They charge $2.99 to use their tape, which they did not even put it anywhere, online or in the store.Very bad experience. Go somewhere else..this is freaking rip off!
The man that works in this store is so rude. The first time I came to this store I just thought he mightve been having a bad day. I was just there this morning, and I greeted him and he gave no response. I understand the current climate of the world right now, but damn.
Theyre horrible and delivering packages Ive been waiting for a package since the 30th and Ive been waiting all day for this package again and it turns out they send it back to the storeAnd I was trying to pick my package up Monday but the woman at the counter told me its not in this store which on the little note they left on my door said it would be at the store and in West Carrollton on Far Hills and I told him that their driver didnt even knock on my door and Ive been there the whole day and they were trying to tell me some excuse at the up to the driver to knock on my door and I definitely should know then no ones going to leave their door open and wait for them to show up and specially when youre living in apartment complex

2022-06-21Customer service was great. I believe the young ladys name was Leah. She went above and beyond to help me get my orders shipped out correctly. Both ladies were very friendly, patient helpful. I definitely will be shipping orders from this UPS store going forward

2022-01-14Personality of MUD- Went to this UPS Store this am . At 8:30 am door was still locked women inside was in no hurry to open at all. Finally she unlocked the door did not even hold it open for me. (Wow) just walked away. When I walked in she said in a gruff tone what can i do. Owners need to train there people that customer service is the only thing that helps a small business stay in business. UPS corporate needs to be told of these employees.

2022-05-24Ive been to this store multiple times. Once during the pandemic, and each time Ive been satisfied. Quick with good enough customer service. Its location is decent. The surrounding area can get busy but you shouldnt have any trouble getting there. The parking lot however is narrow, in disrepair (the last time I went) and is on an incline possibly making it difficult for handicapped.

2022-02-11I recieved great customer service when having to return an item via mail. Jazmen (thats what my receipt says) was my cashier, and she had great customer service. She was friendly, quick and knowledgeable.

2021-11-29Worst customer service. The manager Jakia Hudson was way more interested in trying to belittle me infront of other customers than resolving my issue. Her female co-worker was just as horrible. I had to end the conversation and they still ended up doing things my way. I have never had a bad experience at a UPS store no where in the country except for today 11/29/2021

2021-10-12Terrible experience!!! An important document was sent to overseas and was promised to get it delivered on a certain date, but eventually had a few days delay not caused by custom clearance. The gentle man said it would be money back if not delivered on that certain date before I mail this important piece of document. The store refused to refund and has no responsibility whats so ever. They just collect your package/envelope and collect your money.Dont do what they promised to do. Still has my receipt until they refund!

2021-10-30Employee very nicely told me that their notary that I scheduled online to meet with doesn’t work on the weekends. The online scheduling option does not show the correct hours. I wasted nearly an hour of my day on something that seems like an easy fix. Don’t have the time available to book if a notary isn’t working those hours!

2022-01-08On line time says 5:00. Got there at 3:15. Guy inside was filling he’s backpack with all kinds of stuff. Looked like he’s was stealing this store blind. He just waved me away. Fix your times online please. Wasted my time.
