I use this UPS Store at least 2-3 times a month if not more... I just wanted to take the time to leave a review here today letting everyone know that what the reviewer Kurt Jacob said is very untrue! On December 21st after reading Kurts review, I shipped a time sensitive item via UPS Ground to Cleveland myself. His review was relevant to me at that time because I was sending something to the same destination as him! It was closing documents for a property. I needed it there on the 24th and took Kurts advice and shipped it out anyways thinking ok, this guy Kurt said it takes 1 day to get there in his review so it should get there in 1 day, no need to rush and I can save a few bucks in the process(according to him the store was making up the delays to upsell??). The UPS store had strongly advised me to not use UPS ground service if it was time sensitive and ship it via Next Day Air to guarantee it getting there on time as that was the only guaranteed by UPS option this close to Christmas. Long story short, it did not get there on the 22nd, as Kurts 1 day delivery time in his review says, actually my original paperwork that I sent took 9 days to arrive. (This is my fault for trusting a review, but also for thinking that one persons experience is going to be the same for everyone.) Just to really clarify, the female employee that was helping me at no time said that I had to absolutely send something via the more expensive options, she just told me that I should because I need it there by a certain date as it was the only guaranteed option I had.Here is why I gave them a 5 star review: I went to the ups store a little upset on the 23rd, had them look up the package with my tracking information and it was showing as picked up from the ups store on the 21st, but there was no movement on this package at the UPS warehouse so the store manager offered me a discount and said that I should send another set of my documents to the destination(which thank goodness they were able to print for me) via Next Day Air to get my documents there by the deadline just to be safe. Well, this time I listened to the store and the documents were there first thing in the morning on the 24th. Disaster averted! I will only use this UPS Store from here on out. I wish I could give Kurt Jacob a 1 star review for misinforming me and anyone else who believes his review like I did!Thank you to the staff for taking care of me and saving me a lot of money and headaches! The store manager did explain to me that during Christmas and also because of the pandemic, only Air Shipments have been guaranteed and they have been doing their best to let customers know this. All I know is that I will defer to The UPS Stores knowledge when it comes to getting an item there on time in the future.
Whoever the franchise owner/manager is here has instructed her desk clerks to tell customers that UPS Ground service takes 2-3 weeks for the short distance to Cleveland, Indianapolis and other standard regional 1-Day ground delivery routes. This is simply a scam to make more money. Being a longtime UPS customer, I knew Cleveland delivery is standard 1 day and maximum of 2 days. Another customer also was being told delivery to Indianapolis was 2-3 weeks.At the same time, the UPS (not the same company as The UPS Store) driver was picking up packages and overhead our conversation. She sternly told the clerk, “Never up charge like that!” The clerks replied their boss ordered them to give customers that storyline.The driver was disgusted by the attempt to rip off desperate customers who need a delivery before Christmas and are being deceived into thinking they must pay overnight or rush delivery prices. The UPS driver told me, “We aren’t the same company.”, because she knew this attempt to screw customers puts her employer, the good UPS delivery company, in a bad light. The store owner/manager is unethical at best and a borderline thief. Buyer beware!Verification of The UPS Store scam came when my Cleveland customer received my box the next day via UPS Ground.
Shipped what we thought was going to be 6 boxes of Milk Glass my mom had collected for 50 years and toys from our childhood. The milk glass was in four boxes when we came in and the guy in the store said they wouldnt guarantee the shipment unless they packed it. So we paid them to pack it. The toys were old Tonka toys and we were told they would be shipped in two boxes approxiamately the size of two laundry bins they were weighed in.The lady texts later that she was able to get all toys into one box.Well 4 days later back in TN UPS pulls up to the house. The UPS driver is rolling these two gigantic boxes, none of which are marked fragile, which we paid for, out of the truck and onto the ground. The boxes are mangled and you can hear broken glass and toys rolling around in the boxes. They had unpacked one of the boxes of milk glass and just stuffed the other three in this big box. The other milk glass was just loosely packed on top. Most of the milk glass was smashed along with a bobblehead from 1950s Syracuse University.The toys had broken wheels, broken parts and were bent up and had no bubble wrap. Only one toy was in a plastic bag.Im not sure what we paid for, but I feel like I let my deceased parents down by trusting the advice of the store employees. I am disapointed by their complete incompetence at properly packing fragile items.I would avoid this store like the plague.
We brought a Christmas present for my wifes mom on the 18th and were treated by someone with not super great customer service. She took our presents and said that she would package them for shipment Three days later, we checked the tracking number to find that it hasnt been picked up. We called to see what was going on and were immediately told that any shipments that come in are sent out. My intentions were to find out if there had been a mistake with our package and it didnt get shipped, but the woman on the phone just kept saying that it would have gone out. Unfortunately, now we dont know if our present was ever sent and I cant recommend this store for shipping.EDIT 1, 21 Dec (for owner response): after reading your response, I checked our tracking number and it still seeing that its awaiting pickup (see screenshot from 5:03 pm). Im not sure where that information you sent is coming from. Also, is it legal to post all that shipping information?EDIT 2, 22 Dec (for owners lack of follow up): It seems the owner didnt really care about why I wrote the bad review. Be careful with shipping here. Our shipment is supposed to go to a PO Box thankfully. Our tracking number still shows its at this UPS location.Im not sure if they would have posted the full shipping address in their response for anyone to go take the package. Overall poor customer service. Review stands at one star.
I typically use the other UPS store but today I used this location on Wilmington pike. I called prior to coming in to getting some information and was helped by an employee named Amy. She was extremely nice and helpful. Once I came into the store to pick up my order, which btw I asked her to rush to finish In under 15mins!, and when I came into the store I was pleasantly greeted and my order was with and hands reach waiting on me. Im so pleased with the exceptional customer service that I had to go out and leave this review before I even left the parking lot! Amy is a gem to your company! I wish employees everywhere would conduct themselves as she does! Thank you and Ill be back :-)
Fantastic and friendly staff--I always have a great experience at this location. They are helpful and make me feel like they welcome my business. I actually go out of my way to use this UPS Store after a terrible experience from the rude owner/manager at the Beavercreek location.So thankful to have this one in the area!
This place and services are absolutely wonderful!!! The people that work here are true blessings they are so friendly. And wait get this they don’t charge for tape, and being rude isn’t apart of their services. The store in Miamisburg run by Kent is awful, he needs to come on to this store and get a much needed lesson on customer service. Business like his don’t last long because good customer service is key something which that store lacks big time. Now this store is a 5 star business, so wonderful, patient, kind, not greedy, no crazy fees, which is why this store has 5 stars and Kent store has a measly 2 lol!
The staff here is always incredibly knowledge about how to pack my items. I sale a lot of items in eBay and always trust them to box and pack them. They also have helped me out with notary. Its amazing how many services they offer. I will always use this store for all my needs.
I have used this store for three years as the primary mailing address for my company. In that time have always been greeted with a friendly smile and a courteous welcome upon each visit. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, and neighborly at all times during our encounters. I would recommend this store to anyone who has business or shipping needs. They will take good care of you!
Closed 10 minutes earlier than posted time. The employee saw me pull up. Door was locked and she went to the back, ignoring me. She returned when she thought I had left, at 1 min before close time, and quickly returned to the back.We all have rough days at work, but this is completely unacceptable!If this was my business, the employee would be fired for stealing company time..
I recently had to visit this UPS Store for a notary. They were not only very kind, but they were all COVID 19 aware. All employees were wearing masks correctly, they had hand sanitizer available, they limited areas touched, and they were all practicing social distance. I felt very safe. Great job everyone!!
This store is close to my house and i use it almost daily. All employees have been very helpful. They have offered me ways to save and helped me with all my shipping needs. I recommend this store to anyone who wants nice, friendly, and helpful customer service from a reliable place of business.

I make regular purchases on amazon and some of my items are shipped with UPS, I hate it. It never fails, if I have something being delivered I apparently have to sign for it. Wallet, shampoo, comb, picture frame, it doesnt matter, so I NEVER get my packages by the estimated delivery date and I almost always have to pick it up from a local site, usually this one. Normally this wouldnt be an issue but most of the staff are not at all helpful and will give excuses for why they shouldnt even look for your package when you go to pick up. Out of the dozen or so times I needed to go to this location to pick my stuff up after a failed delivery, only once was I NOT told that they didnt have the packages scanned in. Mind you this was always after 11am (usually closer to noon) on week days at a location which opens at 8:30am and confirmed to have my package by the previous night. Even more frustrating is that literally every time this has happened I have to call out the employee and tell them this same story and suddenly theres my package, it was in the whole time, scanned in and all, took less than 2 minutes to find it, they just had to go grab it from the back. Friggin magic packages just apearing out of nowhere I guess. So I have a few questions for UPS. A.) Why cant you guys deliver packages which have no business needing signatures? B.) What do your staff do to wrap up the evenings causing them to be ill prepared in the morning? C.) What are your staff doing for the first 2.5-3.5 hours of their operating day causing them to again be apparently ill prepared for the rest of the day? And D.) Why do some of your employees find it appropriate to both lie to and not assist customers? I just want my packages delivered without headache, I dont care about a delay, or if something should require a signature due to the substance of the package or its value, etc. But I am officially fed up with dealing with the consistent inconvieniences and excuses presented by this company and its staff and if I had my way UPS would never deliver any of my packages but I guess Ill have to settle and leave a review that will likely go ignored instead. I would hope, however, that going forward we will see some changes how this company/location does business.Edit: As a rather pleasant surprise, the employee around noon today was very quick, friendly, and didnt have any issue in finding my package. And if Im not mistaken, it was the same employee who I previously mentioned as the one helpful associate Ive worked with. Kudos, a positive experience goes a long way.
There was only one staff person and it got busy. Each customer took a long time. The staff person, Erica, was very professional and took the time for each customer without rushing them. At the same time she thanked the customers waiting for their patience, welcoming customers as they entered the store, saying she would be with them as soon as possible. She had to notarize paperwork for a customer ahead of me and, being a notary myself, I was impressed how she requested them to raise their right hand and take the oath and made them fill in blanks of the forms before notarizing. These are two important aspects that a notary must do. I observed Ericas customer service for a long time. It was second to none with each customer. Albeit, it would be better to have at least one more staff person to help out, especially on a Saturday. I hope you let Erica know that what she is doing doesnt go unnoticed!!

Went in with a package this morning. The woman that took the package didnt ask if it was going to a business, when I needed it there by rather just a zip. She was very condecending. Charge was 184.00. I immediately told her no thanks and drove I miles to FedEx. Total charge from FedEx including packaging 74.00. This has happen now with ups several times - double and even triple what normal shipping would cost over FedEx. Do your self a favor and stay away from this ups. Carrie there at ups - thank you for your over inflated pricing, rude hold it at the end and condescending attitude. In a FedEx customer now.... You tried to get an extra 110.00 over what FedEx charged. Shame on you!.
If you are going to other UPS stores in the area YOU ARE AT THE WRONG STORE. The group at Wilmington Pike have it figured out. There is never a wait and they are always welcoming and personable with anything I need. I do all of my business and personal shipping out of this store and I could not see myself using another store other than the Wilmington Pike store.
Nobody quoted me the same price. First it was $164, then it was $196. Then when they realized that the measurement was 2 inches off, the price took a monumental hike to $272. They tried to charge me $46 extra on top of my $272 shipping bill for the free pack and ship guarantee. By the time they were done adding on their mystery fees they were asking $394. They treated me like Im stupid and like they were the only place in the world that does shipping. Went to Fedex and they shipped it for $212 + $19 for the oversized box and packing it for me. Fedex didnt claim that their packaging services or boxes were free and they were nice to me.I will never go to the UPS store again.

2022-06-06Ive dropped off packages for work and for personal. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The pricing is generally competitive. Nonetheless, Ive knowingly spent a little more to use this store because I know I will get great customer service and my packages will arrive in tact and on time.

2022-07-20If youre considering using them for an Amazon return, think twice. I dropped off a return, got a receipt, and 2 weeks later I had not been credited for it. The tracking showed the package had not moved in 2 weeks. When I checked back, they told me the tracking number that they gave me was basically worthless because the return got put into a consolidated package. After 4 weeks, I had still not received credit. Fortunately, Amazon was cool about it and gave me a refund for my return despite not receiving it. On the plus side, the UPS Store employees were pleasant, but their advice of just be patient, it will eventually get there was not helpful.

2022-06-08We stopped by to get a notary service and Lillith helped us. She was quick, answered all of our questions, and was super helpful. The entire staff was super friendly and greeted us the moment we walked in. I will definitely use this ups location whenever I can, the staff is super awesome!

2022-05-22The service here is horrible and leaves much to be desired. Paid for packaging for a high value item. All they did was put the MacBook in a plastic bag and left inside the box with no bubble wrap or cushioning. I’d never send a package here again.

2022-01-26Using this location was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a UPS outlet. I shipped an instrument back to the store and the case was damaged en-route. I had to initiate and follow the damage reimbursement myself due to the store managers inaction. It took numerous phone calls over a period of 8 months to get resolved with no help what-so-ever from this location. UPS national actually sent a check to this store (as is the practice) and it was not forwarded to me. It took additional calls and a second reimbursement check for it to reach me. UPS drivers and deliveries have provided excellent service for me over the years. This location did not.
