I was shipping a large number of packages. I had been to multiple locations closer to me and had been told they would not create the labels, I had to many to do in store. I called this location and talked to Susan and she said come on in! She spent an hour+ helping me get my employee appreciation packages labeled and shipped out. She was friendly and went well out of her way to help me while still helping others that came in during that time. She even personally called when one came back with a bad address and helped me fix it. Nothing but perfect service here when no other location would help me! Thank you Susan.
Not my favorite store to go to. They had a worker named Shiree if I remember right, had a no care attitude and was upset that I ended up in the store 15 minutes before closing to ship a package.They also lost one of my very important packages but at least tried to help, so wont give one star.I use them for my amazon returns if I have to, but most personal mails now go through fedex across the street.
I would give zero stars if I could. Wife took packages to this store to return to sender. Couple days later the packages were returned to my house, not the sender. I took packages BACK to UPS store and they say they are not UPS, but a privately-owned contractor for UPS.Young girl says there is no guarantee that the packages would make it back to the sender via UPS. I suggested that my address be removed so they couldnt come back to me. No, she would not allow that. Other older guy said that UPS drivers dont look at addresses on packages, they just scan the bar code which will say to return package to me.I suggested that the bar code be removed. No, they dont do that. I suggested they print a new (correct) bar code. No they dont do that. Both clerks assured me that it is pretty much impossible to have a package returned to sender from the UPS store. Terrible,.Completely lacking customer service.
Everyone at this store is knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and hard working. I have shipped packages to Israel, Arkansas and Tennessee without any problems. I needed a bit of tape the other day, and because I am not a rude worthless geezer, I was supplied tape. Actually, the super friendly manager taped the box herself! (I think they would supply tape to everyone, unlike at the Wadsworth store). Just FYI, the UPS truck picks up all of the packages at 6 pm, so make sure to be there on time. I honestly cant think of any complaints that a normal sane person could post about this place or any of its workers. They even will take my mail and sell stamps!
My husband I went to Honey Baked Ham and then went to this store to pickup stamps. We literally were there 1 minute before opening. Waited for the lady to open, and she did not answer the door three different times. My husband knocked on the door and she very rudely said we are not opening yet.
I have had my business address at this location since 2006 and have received hundreds of packages and shipped hundreds of packages. I have never had an issue with the staff. They have always been friendly, even when swamped. I have had packages missing, but hey have always assisted in locating and tracking down the packages. I am not sure why some people have had issues here. If I dont tape a package or if they think it isnt taped well enough, they make sure it is secure for shipping.
DON’T CARE ATTITUDE! UNPROFESSIONAL!Phoned them to try and trace an urgent package. JJ told me to hold on and put me on hold for almost 12 minutes. I hung up. I was just up the road at a UPS collection point at Michaels. So I drove to UPS. When I came in the place was a total mess packages all over. And only then JJ told me he can’t trace packages. He could’ve told me on the phone!!!!! Don’t go into service delivery if your people skills suck.
This store is horrible. A family member of mine brought a package to be shipped. The package never received! After the situation explained they said they would reimburse for the loss as long as They had a receipt. Receipt shown and was told that they would be refunded in a few weeks. Weeks go by they call the store today inquiring on the reimbursement that was promised and the woman told themthey were banned from the store which they haven’t stepped foot in since mailing the package out. They asked why and the woman stated “for this reason.” And hung up on them. As a witness to this store is horrible and lies and steals packages. I will be reporting to the BBB and I will continue to let customers know to beware and take their business somewhere else on every platform available to the public. They have called customer service in Atlanta 4x , corporate once and reached out on social media and nothing was done about this.
I just came to pick up an important package. The sign on the door says they open at 8:30am. It is 10:30 and they are closed. I had my package delivered here because I was out of town and this was close to my house. I should have just sent it somewhere farther away that was reliable. I am so frustrated. How am I supposed to know when to come back? This is unbelievable. I wish I had read reviews before choosing where to send my package.
Needed to ship out a very SMALL box. Asked the young blonde cashier (not sure of name) for a little piece of tape to close the box and was told it would cost $1. I kindly said I didn’t have my money on me and could I please just have a small piece of tape as they were closing in a few minutes and I didn’t have time to go home to get money. She said they can’t do that. Are you kidding me? A dollar? For a sliver of tape? I’ve never been told this at any other ups store. I also would have been happy to help the customer if roles were reversed. Don’t go here. Rude.
I am not sure what is going on with these reviews but I have been using this location (Fairlawn) for years and have NEVER had a problem. Every employee that I have encountered has been very helpful to me and far from rude! One thing I can say as someone who deals with the public on a daily basis, everyone has a bad or off day from time to time and I do not believe in the customer is always right, specially if the customer comes in with an awful attitude and proceeds to take it out on employees then in turn goes back and say it was the employees fault. Uhhmmm no, that is not how things work! UPS workers are not The Help or House elves and deserve better treatment.
WOW!!I cant believe this. I am told by a guy name ERIC that a package would never get sent back. Well it did. And it had my name and address on it. And they wrote know one by this name has a box # at this addressThan when I call to ask why it would be sent back I get told by ERIC I only make 8.50 an hour it is not my job to worry about your mail. Than someone please tell me why he works there if he doesnt want to do the job.I am very unhappy with this company. Than I am told the manager John is no longer there and he doesnt know who the manager is. He again only makes 8.50 an hour not his job.

2022-07-14Same as all the other reviews. Never had a problem at any UPS store until today. She Scanned my code and printed me an Amazon UPS label, she told me to put it in any bag or box. I got a white Amazon bag from my car and put the label on. She said there’s no padding this will probably be destroyed and it will be your fault as she threw it off to the side in a big bag. I said well can I have it back to repack and get a new label. She said no I can use the same label and proceed to rip it off the bag destroying it and told me to go to another store. I called ups and they said I can scan my code and get a new label no problem and any store and apologized as the store was privately owned.

2022-07-23I do not trust this place. I dropped off an Amazon Return and its been weeks without any updates on transit. I dropped off another Amazon return at a different UPS location and received updates an hour later. I called and spoke to AJ and was told to call Amazon and let them know that I dropped it off and theyre good about issuing a refund. A part of me feels they are keeping the return for their own use or selling for profit

2022-04-22Seems like theres always a problem at this store. My package was lost after months of waiting for it, and then the plaza they are in is always crowded. I was almost hit twice by someone backing up in my car! If you do go here, be careful with your packages and park somewhere FAR AWAY!

2022-07-08Store randomly closes for hours during regular hours of operation. Makes it real difficult for businesses who send employees with packages and they are forced to wait. No reason given either just a handwritten note on the door. Get more workers if that’s what you need.

2021-12-16I have been there about 6 times and these people are rude beyond belief.today they locked the door on customers so they could not process any shipments but opened the door for some customers. another time I dropped off a package and did not need a receipt, a simple ups return which shows up on my ups account when processed. The the owner manager did not ship the package, and held it at the store. I went back and she said I did not stay for her to process it and therefore she didnt ship.I would suggest finding other places in Montrose this one is awful .The post office puts this place to shame, thats how bad it is

2021-08-17Right behind the five guys restaurant.The lady/staff in the store is very generous gave the unpacked package and told us she will take care of everything.The store is right located in the west market, easy to located. Almost all kind of payment modes are accepted. Decent amount of parking space available for parking.

2022-05-06Female employee extremely rude. Scanned Amazon package then wouldn’t take because not in a box despite it saying no box needed. Then proceeded to tell me to buy a box. Said - Amazon always screws it up.

2022-01-23Well, all those reviews are accurate. Here on a Sunday at 3...closed. Not sure how they run a business that way. At least update your posted hours so people dont waste their time.

2020-12-20Stopped in to send out 5 packages late Friday afternoon. I dreaded going into the store at such busy time. I was helped by Susan, the clerk. She was SO efficient and pleasant... processing the packages, putting them in boxes and preparing the shipment. Wow! Is was so amazed at how pleasant she made the experience. Shes a keeper!
