Been using this location for years for my UPS drop-off point. Friendly and attentive staff. Enjoy seeing them and the store is clean and organized. Nice selection of supplies if you need an item and want to avoid driving to another store just for that one thing. They are always smiling.
I am a regular customer at this store location and have experienced only the best customer service. The staff are very friendly and have gotten to know me personally, making each trip in to the store a delight to interact with them. I was happy to discover their personalized design and printing services which have been high quality and delivered on time (have ordered photo calendars to party invitations). Happy to support this local small business!
This is the worst mistake you can make. The UPS store on Arlington road charged me almost 500.00 dollars to overnight a package that had to be delived the next day to a business. The package was delivered 4 days later. Repeated calls to the store and I was told the the person that handled this matter would call me. They did not. UPS will not get involved since its a UPS store. They fly the logo but thats it. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the Attoney Generals office. And I will dispute the charge. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I have been doing business with The UPS Store on S. Arlington Rd. for the past 5 years. Mark and Tatina have been absolutely amazing to work with. They care about their business and customers and it shows. We initially used the UPS Store for shipping and then purchased a mailbox. Mark was persistent but never pushy to earn my companys print business. Our company is business to business and will mail as much as 20,000-30,000 letters every month. We gave the UPS Store a small sampling to work with and they did such a great job we had them handle all of our print and mail business. I cannot say enough good things about the UPS Store on S. Arlington and its hard working owners.
How do I give negative stars? Absolute worst customer service, actually was threatened by the one staff member. I cant see why anyone would do business here. Terrible terrible terribleUPDATE: As a reply to the response by owner. Im not sure who youre talking about there. That wasnt my situation. Looks like you treat multiple customers poorly each day. Customer service needs drastically improved.
Worst Customer Service Ever at Arlington Street Store !My son and I left UPS Store at 3465 S ARLINGTON RD UNIT E, Akron, Ohio Store today, Saturday, November 26, 11:40am after receiving perhaps the worst customer service in my lifetime from the gentlemen on duty.We intended to purchase 4 or 5 boxes that would have likely cost over $25.00.Because we did know exact dimensions in inches, the gentlemen refused to help us or provide us any support.Needless to say, we could not spend any money in this store because of this mans poor attitude and lack of help !As I walked out of store, I sarcasticallysaid thank you sir for all your help.The man yelled back in snarky tone, You are vey welcome, have a good day.If this man was my employee, I would be giving him some needed training on customer service, how to treat customers or he would be quickly looking for a new job !I explained to my son after leaving store that this man was a very poor example of how you treat customers or provide customers support when doing business.
This place is trying to run a BUSINESS and I am amazed with all the complaints about TAPE!! Come on people.. They have to buy tape for there business and then you want it for free when taping up a AMAZON return or somethig like that... WOW. This is one of the best UPS Stores i Hae ever gone to and the owner is a great person who does alot for all the other business around.
The worst experience Ive ever had! Public computer that they say you can use, no signs posted, yet after you use it they tell you to pay them $2 for using it! Then after I expressed I didnt have $2, as I didnt know such fee existed, they forced me to swipe my card even though I told them Id be penalized. After the $2 was paid, they THEN told me they couldnt even mail the package I was dropping off because it didnt have the proper box. Then why did I just pay $2?! Just terrible customer service.

2022-07-17Customer service was top notch. The printing for our business sign and brochures was absolutely phenomenal. As a small business owner, we felt a personal touch was given throughout the process. Business owner was very communicative throughout the development of our sign making sure we had exactly what we needed. I will be back to work with this store for any future purchases I may need for my business.

2022-08-04Excellent service! UPS store 3008 in Akron collected, packaged and shipped several items for me. The costs were reasonable, the package arrived quickly, and the contents were packaged very securely. Couldn’t ask for more. Thanks again!

2022-06-18Attempted to drop off a shipment and have a pre-paid shipping label attached. The employee, who would not even move away from the printer area, told me that the label was for USPS and they would not accept it as “This is a UPS store.” He then offered to have me pay for an entirely new shipping label, as well as the printing and only then would they ship it. I tried to explain that the Fairlawn location had done this multiple times for me this month alone with the same label, but I was just in the area today and figured it shouldn’t be an issue. I ended up walking out and driving to Fairlawn, which had it processed within 2 minutes of walking in the door. Do not waste your time with this specific location!

2021-10-01I would not recommend this store or any UPS store to any human who wants something shipped. Please use anyone else. I was shipping some potato chips to a friend in another state who is originally from Ohio and wanted a special reminder of home for their birthday. There is only one way to package bags of chips. You put them in a box and tape the box shut. This is how all chip manufacturers send their chips places. When I went to ship them it was $75. Ridiculous price for something that hardly even weighs 4 pounds but fine whatever since it’s for a friend birthday, I accepted the price to ensure he would get it in time. After the package was shipped it arrived beyond damaged. It looks like someone jumped up and down on the box until most of the bags exploded chips everywhere in the box. I tried to file a claim via the website which gives you the run around and states you must go through the account you shipped through? Which I just went to the store to ship it therefore no account. So I tried to make an account and it wouldn’t work either. It stated you must go to the store. Went to the store and they needed to send someone out here (to Phoenix, Arizona) to verify the box of smashed chips was indeed smashed. They said it would take a few WEEKS. Who keeps stale chips open laying around their home for weeks waiting on someone to show up? Oh wait, no one ever showed up at all. Now that it has been over 3 to 4 weeks someone from the store we shipped through stated they refuse to cover the box because they did not package it. Your job is to ship items. Packaging is an extra service offered and I can guarantee they would not have packed bags of chips any different from me. The stores response is their “sister store” is who ships not them so they aren’t responsible for anything in regards to shipping. Only packaging. But yet you can’t make a claim through the “sister store.” Considering most people are not that incapable of taping a box shut, I have no idea how you are still in business. Anytime I asked a question the employee gave me the same run around how if they don’t package it is not their fault/problem. EVEN THOUGH I PAID $75 TO SHIP AN ITEM. Awful customer service. What a scam.

2021-01-23In an attempt to complete an Amazon Return, I was barked at to place the boxes on the floor while I was placing the boxes on the floor. Amazon created one QR code for a return of 3 boxes and one label for the 4th. Ashton in a nasty tone explained she would be unable to ship 4 boxes. Her response was If I dont like the UPS Policies, I could take my boxes to another UPS Location. Obviously, the UPS Policies would be the same at the second location. If you are going to partner with Amazon as a drop off location for returns, perhaps you should be trained on Amazons policies as well and offer assistance in a professional manor. The simple solution is to cancel the return and create individual return for each box. Thank you for the help, but no thanks. I will be using another shipping service moving forward. Ashton needs to learn what proper customer service is. Less Talking and More listening. You might learn something.
