Great locally designed t-shirts. Nice material and after many washes they still look good and the collar never stretches or wavers. Not the cheapest t-shirts but they last.

Theres a reason I have enough t-shirts from Social Dept. to wear a different one every day for a week and a half. One, the designs are clean, cool and clever. Two, the owner and staff are the friendliest folks youll meet. Plus, you can celebrate your purchase with a beer next door at HiHo! And now, theyve got a selection of coffee cups and cocktail glasses to give your cabinet the same swag as your closet.

This is a Northeast Ohio staple! Social Dept has the best clothes for locals and visitors. I absolutely love all their designs. The owner and everyone who works here is absolutely amazing! They are incredibly kind and helpful and such an important part of our community. I love going into the store to check out whats new and getting to shop (socialize) in the environment theyve created in their shop. I love how genuine these folks are and how much that shows in their clothing.

Awesome selection of eclectic designs, and I love the local culture swag. I had an awesome experience here a couple months ago, when I stopped in for an OSU inspired shirt I needed for work the next day. I saw a design I loved on a shirt, but really wanted it on a hoodie, so I wouldnt freeze all day at work. The owner happily offered to screen print that design on a hoodie if I had a bit of time, so I hung out next door at Hi Ho and had a beer while he printed my shirt. It turned out perfectly, its super comfy, and I was totally pleased with the level of customer service provided to me throughout the entire transaction. Ill be back for more!

My husband and I love local t-shirts and our favorite local shop is the Social Department. This is a great place for comfortable, quality shirts with Akron and Cleveland themes (especially if you are looking for more interesting Indians, Cavs, or Browns apparel!). The entrance is to the side of HiHo brewery, and the staff is very friendly. If you want a print on a different color, wait and have a beer at HiHo while the staff prints oen to your specification. Highly recommend this place for their innovative designs.

Original t-shirts. The couple I have purchased are soft and comfy. Bought two German Ohioan ts for my two German exchange students. They love them.
