I used Sagamore Silk last spring to mulch my beds, they turned out great! The Silk product was very consistent, no big chunks, very little debris, and it held its color nicely. I will definitely be using it again this spring.

The staff at this location is friendly and informative. The varieties in the mulch with options for color or not gave a lot to think about and the pricing fit right in my budget for the yard improvement I was planning.

Make sure you receive as much material as you paid for. I very accurately measured that I needed 2.8 cubic yards of gravel for my shed. I ordered 4 cubic yards so I would have enough left over to fill a low spot around my foundation. I had to use the whole order for the shed project. Sales girl assured me they were sending me cubic yards, not tons. Receipt even shows cubic yards not tons. Area I was filling was 12 x 134 x 3.5 which is about 1.8 cubic yards. Online calculators say 2.8 yards (probably due to settling, compacting, and such). Their 4 yards wasnt enough and I barely was able to fill the area.Dont get ripped off like I was - ask to watch them load the truck and make sure they load the right amount.This was at their Brunswick location.I do not recommend this company.

These Sagamore guys are great. I ordered 10 yards of screened topsoil on a Friday evening after hours from their Bainbridge store. It was delivered on time, the driver kept his truck on the driveway as he backed up and he dumped it exactly where I asked him to. The topsoil was screened and jet black. Service with a smile and great prices too !

The staff is very knowledgeable and customer oriented definitely my favorite place to get any of my mulch or soil needs and on top of the friendliness no matter how many trucks are lined up to be loaded it’s always a quick process Definitely some of most efficient operators I’ve come across

Uneven quality in their triple ground un-dyed mulch leaves tha appearance of a washed out grey color after only 4 weeks. When I asked about it the response was Hey its all triple ground and the weather, you know. Unwilling to fix the problem. Buyer beware...wont be going back.

Worst mulch I have ever used. Their doubled shredded black mulch had tons of trash in it along with large pieces of wood that were not shredded up. I have had the mulch spread out for a month now and it has already lost its color from the rain. The mulch also has tons of fungus growing in it which is disappointing. Will not be buying again.
