Weve been at the Residences at Hanna for some time now and cant say enough what a good decision it was to move here. Great staff (shout out to Jessica and Damir), super responsive and on top of it. Perfect location in downtown Cleveland, near Playhouse Square, restaurants, grocery store and plenty to do. Highly recommend.
Ive lived in the building for 9 months now and have never had any issues. Recently I asked to move into a bigger apartment and the property manager, Jessica, was extremely helpful with the transition. Building is clean and the apartments have a nice modern style.
If youre looking for a place in downtown look no more. Residencies at Hanna has it all, the apartments are really nice, location is great and the building is very clean.Jerome is the best property manager you could ever meet. I was moving in from another country and he was always there to answer my questions, he communicated very well and made the leasing process easy for me. Definitely a very pleasant person.
My roommate and I were looking at an opening at The Residences at Hanna. Jerome, the property manager, was the most helpful and pleasant person ever. He really took the time to make sure we’re comfortable with everything and made the transition so seamless. We submitted an application and he was right there to guide us through the whole process and made himself available at all times should we have questions/inquiries. The place is great! The apartment is spacious and clean and the property is well maintained. It’s also within a reasonable price range.
Today I had an appointment to check out an opening downtown at The Residences at Hanna. My tour guide Jerome was the most chill and vibrant Property Manager I have ever met. The apartment has very nice amenities and the property is very well taken care of. He literally sold me so much on the place by his demeanor and professionalism that I put in an application right away. I cant wait to live here.
I’ve been at the Hanna for almost a year now and have had a wonderful time being a resident here. The property manager Daniel is amazing— he’s beyond helpful and extends all courtesies possible to make this feel like home. Damir, the maintenance director, always makes sure things are handled promptly and properly. The security staff are all very polite/courteous and attentive.As far as the apartments, the finishes and appliances in each unit are stunning— super modern and sleek.Definitely a great residence and it’s so convenient being right in the heart of Playhouse Square.
My husband and I live in Arizona and needed a place to stay in Cleveland while he recovered from having an invasive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. The Residences at Hanna became our home away from home, as we had to spend Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years here. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it was spacious for us, our daughters, and parents. The kitchen is nice and open. The location is perfect, right in Playhouse Square. There is a Starbucks right in the building as well, which is awesome! The property manager, Daniel, goes above and beyond—he is always there when you need something. He truly cares for the tenants and is an outstanding human being. We loved this apartment, thank you K&D Group for making this place our home.
Im updating my review for our new property manager, Jerome. Our previous PM, Daniel, left for a different building from what I believe but Jerome was able to come in and help get things running smoothly without Daniel here. Jerome has been very professional with everyone but also extremely kind. When someone needs something, he is always really helpful and ensures that the residents are content. Hes been here for about three months now and has maintained an efficient and smooth process here at the Hanna. You truly cannot find a better apartment building to live in with better management!I have been living in the Hanna building for about a year now and actually just leased another room here- I cant get enough of it! If you need to move downtown to somewhere that is clean, actually affordable, and has good management, the Hanna is the place to be!The property manager is also incredible- he responds to requests in such a swift & timely manner and is always creating new initiatives for the building. He will also go above and beyond for anyone that resides here and you can tell that he is passionate about what he is doing.I have not had one problem while living here either. Also, maintenance requests are acted upon so quickly, its fascinating. I put in a maintenance request for something minor and received a call from the maintenance guy about three minutes later stating that he was going to remediate the minor issue quickly. I highly recommend moving here if you need a great place to live!
After accepting a new position in Cleveland, I needed a place to settle into. I was referred by a co-worker to contact The Residence at Hanna regarding their corporate housing. I reached out and spoke with their property manager Jerome. Jerome was very helpful and provided me with tons of information about the property, housing options and adjusting to life in Cleveland. As I juggled relocating and my date for move-in, Jerome was very accommodating. He had the apartment ready even when I moved up my date up a week with only a days notice. My experience was 1st class and I would recommend this property to anyone looking for temporary housing or a place to call home.
I have had the best experience living here thus far. I 110% recommend to anyone looking to live in the heart of downtown. Its in a prime location for students and young professionals. The units are newly renovated and very spacious. The staff here makes the living experience very enjoyable. The maintenance staff is very timely and gets everything fixed ASAP. I have also had the best experience with the newest office manager, Daniel. He has made my overall experience living here so much more enjoyable and has made a very large effort to help all the residence in the building. He is so friendly and is always willing to answer any questions!
Daniel is the best property manager I’ve ever encountered! He truly cares about his tenants and the property!! If I need ANYTHING, I know I can count on Daniel to get it taken care of. He’s very friendly and personable. He makes you feel very welcomed. I love the way he takes care of the property by keeping it decorative based on the different holidays. Its December and its a great feeling to walk into The Residence at Hanna and see all the Christmas decorations! I absolutely love it!! The property manager Daniel is the best property manager Cleveland has to offer - period. I just renewed here for a third year largely because of him, as he is unbelievably nice, patient and genuinely cares about the residents. I adore my two bedroom apartment, noise level (super quiet!), and overall cleanliness of the building. The maintenance team (Damir) is really quick and attentive as well. If a unit opens up, you’re lucky - snag it while you can!

I have lived here for 5 years. I love living in the heart of Playhouse Square. Jerome has done a wonderful job as our rental office manager. He is friendly, communicative and always helpful. Maintenance does a wonderful job responding and fixing issues that come up. Anytime I have an issue day or night there is always a quick response.
The Residence of Hanna is a home away from home, the establishment is very secured with its 24/7 security. The Property Manager Jerome Williams, is always tentative to meeting all of the residents needs, from questions about setting up your rental portal, to where the trash hopper is located, especially moving into my first apartment Mr. Williams has made my transition from living with my parents to on my own a very comfortable experience.The Cleaning and maintenance of the building is spotless the maintenance guys I see walking around every day, applying those daily beautifications needs is admirable, making all us residents proud to walk in here and call The Residence of Hanna home.The parking is perfect for me as well, the surface lot I choose across the street is safe, secured, very well lit at night, and most importantly affordable.Finally anyone looking for an apartment down town, with all amenities you could ask for, and on top of that, which I forgot to mention earlier a gym!!!!!!!, this would be the perfect place for you, and walking distance within all our local sport arenas, East 4th, and Jack Casino. I’ve lived in 5 different states for the past 7 years due to work, and hands down living here at the Hanna has been a great and easy experience. I’ve had to use reviews like this to justify where I am going to live so I’m always a little skeptical.The property manage Daniel is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure every resident living here is treated great! I personally had an issue with finding a flight to visit Cleveland while transitioning with work. Daniel personally set up a call and took pictures and video of the apartment as if I was there! He also has very timely response for questions that I may have.The residency is safe, the parking across the street is safe with 24 hour surveillance, and you are right next to everything that Cleveland has to offer.If you are lucky enough to get an apartment in here don’t let it pass you by!!
I had a great experience moving to my new home at the Residences at Hanna. Jerome, the property manager went above and beyond to help in the whole process in the middle of the lockdown, he’s very helpful, acommodating and made things easier while moving from another state. Playhouse square is cool and safe. The building has a very reasonable price for parking in downtown.
I am going on my third year of living at the Residences at Hanna and absolutely love it. The building and location are great! I have had a great experience working with Tyler in the leasing office. He really helped make the transfer process go as smoothly as possible. He was very attentive and always got back to me in a timely manner and really went the extra mile! He was even able to help with recommendations for other services I would need while living in the Hanna building. Having someone that is reliable working in the leasing office is very important, and Tyler definitely exceeded my expectations! Looking forward to another great year here!
The Hanna Building is a beautiful place to call home. The decor is lovely and the staff is so friendly! The property manager Daniel Reed is amazing. He was patient with us through paper work and leasing agreements and even helped us carry our couch in on move in day! Even the security guard went out of her way to help us when our move in boxes broke. Great people, great place, 5 stars no question.
I could not speak more highly of this building management - especially on-site manager Jessica Woodring. She is so personable, responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure resident needs are met. I know if theres ever an issue, Jessica will ensure a proper solution is met.
I just moved into The Residences at Hanna not to long ago and can genuinely say that I have zero complaints. I had a very bad experience at my last apartment and expressed all of my concerns moving to a new place and Daniel (the manager here) could not have been any better. From the help he provided me during the process of signing the lease, to moving, to even just checking up is unlike any other. If you want to move to a place were you will feel comfortable and at home, with reassurance that the employees here will ALWAYS greet you with a smiling face and a helping hand then this is the perfect place. Definitely be sure to check this place out when looking for a place to live.
Moving to a new city, let alone a new country, can be very overwhelming. I set up a billion appointments with a bunch of different properties, and my second appointment was with Hanna. Needless to say, I loved it so much that I signed my lease immediately after getting approved! I didnt even bother looking at other properties. It wasnt just the building that was great, which it really is, but Katie Wise, the property manager, is amazing! She was extremely helpful and made my move so much easier than I had ever imagined. If I didnt understand something, she would happily explain it to me, even if shed already done so, and she was more than willing to answer all of my questions. She always has a smile on her face, and you can tell she genuinely loves helping people. She even helped me carry some of my boxes which were very heavy. I feel like every building needs a manager like Katie because she truly cares about the residents. I can definitely see myself staying at Hanna for a long time!
I could not be more impressed with The Residences at Hanna! The entire staff was so accommodating with my move-in; Daniel (the property manager) even helped me move in my couch! ALL of my requests have been met within a day or less of me making them, my neighbors are very friendly, and nothing beats living downtown/looking at the lake every day! I highly highly recommend the Hanna to anyone wanting to live downtown!
I moved into the Hanna about two weeks ago. It has been a really great experience. So far, I have met two of the buildings staff members - Daniel, the property manager, and Damir, the head of maintenance. Both have been exceptionally accommodating. Daniel is readily available, prompt in his responses, polite, and always very well-mannered. Damir is courteous, friendly, and very helpful. You really cant ask for more! The building location also seems to be perfect - within downtown but just enough on the outskirts that you dont have to deal with downtown traffic. 5 out of 5 stars!
Residencies at Hanna is a nice complex in a lively area of Cleveland. However as someone coming from out of state, the best part of living here is the landlord Daniel Reed. He has made this transition to a new city and apartment enjoyable and stress free. Whether it be offering to help with furniture or coordinating prompt maintenance visits, he is always available for my roommate and I! The maintenance staff is also extremely timely and very considerate. Happy to call this place home!
The Residences at Hanna have nicely renovated apartments in a great location downtown! Updated appliances, huge windows to let in sun, and a quiet clientele for a lively area (pre-COVID). My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the widely varying service based on who is staffed. In my 4 years in the building we went through nearly a dozen property managers. Some were great and others were barely cordial. The PM when I first was set to move in actually gave my apartment away and was a nightmare to coordinate with to resolve the issue. Overall, the building is beautiful, the maintenance is rarely needed but on top of things and prompt, and the location is ideal for groceries, gyms, and entertainment. Note that parking nor utilities are included in the rent.
I would highly recommend the Residences at Hanna to anyone who would like to live downtown! I lived there for 2 years, and although I decided to move out after that, it was primarily due to the downtown location, rather than the apartment itself. Overall I was happy with my floor plan and appliances, the office and maintenance staff were always friendly (and I had few maintenance needs to begin with), and payments were simple and easy to do online. I also appreciated the quietness and order of the interior building - I rarely could hear my neighbors and the hallways, and the lobbies were always clean and well taken care of. The security staff was friendly as well, and I always felt safe inside the building. The workout room was standard and small but fit my needs, and the quality I got for the price was unbeatable.It does have some drawbacks, mainly due to the urban location. The biggest issue was parking safety - at the beginning of 2018 there were a number of theft incidents where residents car windows were smashed, including mine. I noticed at least 5-10 other cars that were affected around the same time. After multiple complaints to the leasing office, parking lot security was finally improved and I have seen no further incidents since February (but I was never compensated for the $250 that I paid for my car window replacement). The area around/outside the building is also quite loud, busy, and trafficky, especially during the Indians season. Other small complaints I had were drafty windows, frequently malfunctioning elevators, and a rather short supply of hot water in the wintertime.Overall though my experience at the Residences at Hanna was a good one - the negatives are mostly unavoidable in a downtown area, and were more inconveniences than actual concerns. If you are interested in trying out the downtown living experience, the Residences at Hanna is definitely a good place to do it.
Great building in a good area. The 5 stars are mostly for the property manager, Daniel Reed. He went above and beyond to find a solution as the apartment that I was interested in was not available until a few weeks after I needed it. He made the moving process so easy and even helped receive a furniture delivery that was delayed many times and I could not be home to receive it. Truly made moving to a new city and starting a job with long hours so much easier.
I recently moved into the Residences at Hanna and I love it. The property Manager, Daniel go above and beyond to make my move process very smooth and stress-free. He is super helpful beyond words. Please continue to do all the good you are doing.

I just wish I had found this building sooner because that would have made my apartment search so much shorter!
This is a great apartment in downtown Cleveland at Playhouse Square. It is walking distance to many of the restaurants, bars, and sports venues in downtown. Jerome, the property manager, made the move-in process very easy. He is always available and very helpful with any issues (not many) that may arise. I highly recommend this place to live in downtown Cleveland.
Beautiful (and affordable) downtown apartment thats close to all the action, yet quiet! K&D staff got me applied, approved, and moved in in 2 weeks with zero issues. The property manager Daniel has been extremely pleasant and helpful since the day I moved in with a prompt answers to any questions or logistical needs. Very happy to call this place home!
Toured the property not to long ago and absolutely loved my experience. I had schedule my tour with the property manager ( Daniel ). I have toured multiple properties downtown and by far my favorite tour was with Daniel. He was a huge help and answered all of my questions that I had. Unfortunately I was not able to rent a unit due to something coming up in my personal life so I had to stay where I am at for now. However, when I am ready to rent a property my first place for sure would be Residences at Hanna. Daniel I wish you nothing but the best of luck and I hope to sign a lease with you when I am ready.

Jerome Rocks! Renting a one bedroom for my son who is attending Cleveland State University. Jerome made the process very easy and jumped through some hoops to make things happen. Fantastic location and a very secure building. We love the apartment and my son could not be more happy about the decision to move there. Despite covid-19 restrictions, the neighborhood is very safe and vibrant. Lots of great choices for food within walking distance and with Heinens reopening soon, this will just add to the the allure of living at the Hanna. We look forward to the 4 years of dealing with Jerome and the people at the Hanna.

The Hanna is my home away from home ,it’s my second stay we visit for medical treatment at the Cleveland Clinic and it’s the perfect place to stay it’s safe, secure and easy access to and from CC. This is my first time posting a review and it’s due to Daniel Reed, he has gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, “NO” is not in his vocabulary. Daniel made sure the apartment was ready, and that we had everything we needed, he is easy to talk to always available , we left before a package arrived and all I asked for was a favor and his reply “ no problem “, it was not an easy transaction but Daniel took the time and got that package to us , thank you my friend 💕💕💕😇😇, Wayne says hi . I am going on my third year of living at the Hanna Building and couldnt have better things to say! Gillian recently started as our new leasing agent and she has been wonderful to work with. I had actually worked with her when looking at another K&D property and was so surprised when she remembered exactly who I was when I had gone into the office to introduce myself. She is always in the office during business hours and goes above and beyond for the residents, whether it be help with a maintenance request or even just picking up a package, she is always very timely and helpful! I would recommend Residences at Hanna to anyone looking for an apartment downtown!
We visited the apartments during the 4th of July weekend. Me and my wife have been considering moving back to Cleveland so we have been viewing various apartments. Upon entering the building we were greeted by the property manager, Daniel. He was extremely courteous and showed us a few of the available apartments that he had at the moment. He answered all our questions and was extremely knowledgeable. While we are still unsure if we will be moving back, one thing we do know is that the Residences at Hanna will be our #1 choice.
I stayed in the furnished unit at the Hannah earlier this year. Jerome was more than fantastic and easy to deal with. And the location in downtown was great! Will definitely stay here again if the chance arises.

I had been living at the Hanna building for more than two years, building is always clean, apartments are well maintained .Daniel has been great comparing to the previous mangers, he is always on top of his duties and anytime you call, he will accommodate your needs.Damir is always been helpful , very nice guy as wellDefinitely a place to stay , I always felt it is a home to me .If you work outside of the city , it is always a plus because will be heading against traffic. It might get busier when Indians and cavs are playing but it is doable, it will be busy for about half hour after the game is done .Starbucks down the street which it is always a plus.Appreciate this experience guys, it had been great
Apartments are some of the nicest apartments in the Downton Cleveland area. But I think what sets it apart from other properties is the property manager Jerome who goes above and beyond for his tenants. Highly highly recommend living here!

I wish I was an eloquent enough writer to truly capture the experience of living here and working with Daniel in the office. I have dreamed of living downtown and not only is this place priced perfectly, the finishes are top notch and location couldn’t be better. You don’t even have to paint because the walls are already a gorgeous gray! From start to finish, Daniel has gone above and beyond to ensure our happiness. We rented a furnished residence for 3 months. Great location and excellent on site management. Dan Reed was extremely helpful through all aspects of the rental time. He responded promptly to any and all requests.
I had my heart set on living in this building and Daniel went above and beyond to find something that worked for me- on my extremely tight timeline. I love how the maintenance department is so attentive and the building manager continuously strives to make you feel special. The new manager, Daniel Reed is especially helpful and I admire how he jumped right in to handle a problem with the smells.

Good location downtown that is fairly accessible even during rush hour. The building is very quiet and clean. Katie, the porperty manager, and all of the staff are great. She is very friendly and is quick to answer questions.

Beautiful and strategically located in the heart of Don Ton, markets, restaurants and steps from Star Box and close to the University
During my search for downtown accommodation this place is cheaper. The staff is respectful and the place is quiet and clean. I lived there 5 or 6 months .. The hospital is about 10 minutes away by car. About housing in coffees and restaurants and theaters and a small association in the grocery store Yum architecture and sure City Tower This is a large complex and you can walk for all these places beyond Shi 20 minutes. Housing monthly and furnished place .. Room, lounge, bathroom, kitchen b 1950 and two rooms b 2450 + handsets b 100 almost prices in dollars and of course with the apartment where a washing machine and dryer. In the course of decades, but Mandi learned about it.good, quite and clean place with friendly staff I lived there for 5 or 6 months. there is many places u can walk to like coffe shops, theaters, stadiums, small market, twor city mall and its close to Cleveland clinic around 10 minutes in the car. cheapest place to rent in downtown starring from 1950 dollars for furnished apartment without contract.
The location of the building is excellent, quiet and safe 👌🏼, and the apartments are clean, and suitable for Gulf residents.

2022-01-17Been about 5 months since Ive moved here and the experience has been great. The common areas are kept clean, the basement could use with some upgrades to better handle the recycling but other than that its pretty well kept and they do take care of the recyclables weekly. Personnel are respectful and the manager, Jessica, is an absolute treasure, shes always welcoming and diligent. The parking garage is always clean and safe (in my experience), and not as expensive as I would have thought while being right in the middle of Playhouse Square. Overall Im very satisfied with my experience here, the apartment also had all appliances including washer/dryer (inside the unit) plus a gym in the building which is much more comfortable in my opinion.

2022-03-12I just moved out, through no fault of the apartment complex. My apartment was well designed, with great storage and extremely quiet (a huge plus for a professional working downtown). Jessica was not the property manager when I moved in, but she and everyone I dealt with (from management to maintenance) were delightful (says a lot about K&Ds hiring practices). My only recommendation would be to try to carve out some outdoor space (maybe a roof patio?) for the residents and their pets, otherwise a great place to live!

2022-01-21I moved my daughter here for a college internship and couldnt be happier. There were obviously many concerns while deciding from location, safety, pricing, parking and so much more. Jessica, the property manager helped us with absolutely everything and made it a stress free and easy transition. She is amazing and it is comforting to know that she is around. The location, apartment, pricing and covered parking more than checks all the boxes. My daughter loves it here and would highly recommend it.

2022-04-29Just moved in about a week ago and I have nothing but good things to say! I had a lot of questions before I moved in, but Joe was super quick to answer them and has been really helpful with everything. The move itself was really smooth and it was easy getting all of my things into my apartment. The building itself is quiet and clean. The location is great, right in Playhouse Square near a lot of cool places downtown.

2022-02-08Ive been in my apartment a month and have been very happy with everything. But last night, my heating went haywire and I couldnt turn it off, so the apartment got very hot. I put in a maintenance request first thing this morning, expecting the worst. To my surprise, the maintenance people came in about an hour, were professional, courteous, and respectful of the fact that I was teaching online at the time. They had to get new parts and still everything was back under control and working within a couple of hours. Excellent service that leaves me feeling even better about living here.

2021-10-18Jess was extremely accommodating as I transitioned from another residence. Jess ensured I was comfortable with the building, its operations and the staff. Also, I found the neighbors welcoming and super friendly. Jess is committed to a professional, clean and safe living environment. I highly recommend the Residences at Hanna.The building is in a fantastic location in the heart of the Playhouse theatre district. Spacious downtown luxury apartments close to just about everything – sport events, concerts, theatre, restaurants, work, highways and more! The tall ceilings and floor layouts are fantastic for anyone with a creative eye.

2022-06-22I submitted a maintenance request for broken air conditioning nine days ago. I was out of town for the following week but gave them permission to enter. I never received an update. When I returned it was unclear whether nothing had been done or they had tried to fix it but failed. All I knew was that my air conditioning was still not working.I submitted another maintenance request. This time I was told that the maintenance worker was on vacation for two weeks, they didnt have anyone to fix it, and they were unable to find anyone.So I called the emergency maintenance number. They told me to call the leasing office—the same people who just told me they had no one to fix it. That is their response to an emergency maintenance request for air conditioning nine days after it was originally submitted: call the people who failed to get it fixed the first time.I still do not have air conditioning and I have no idea when I will. Should be a great summer.Also, my car was broken into. The police officer I talked to said it happened all the time there, and that the security cameras in the parking lot were never any help.Finally, they were weirdly pushy about getting me to leave a review before I had been living there a week. Consider that when you read other reviews. I am glad I waited.Its a decent price, but there have to be better-run, safer places to rent. Stay away.

2022-04-15We just moved in, and absolutely love living here!Here’s why:-Joe made the leasing and move-in process extremely simple. He is very responsive, helpful, professional and kind.-Maintenance has been fast and efficient.-The noise level is low, we haven’t heard neighbors or street noise yet!-Parking is easy and well lit-Key fob access for tenant security-Easy to walk to Progressive Field, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, East 4th, etc.A move has never been so easy for me. 2021-05-25Perfect location and great management!!Ive been living here for 6 months and I can not emphasize how amazing it has been. The property manager, Jerome, goes above and beyond to make sure every little detail is perfect. He is ALWAYS AVAILABLE (a lot of times on weekends too!) with the sweetest greetings and smiles never failing to ask if we need anything. He is absolutely fantastic! No matter what he is doing, you will find him to be very helpful and accommodating when you walk in.Maintenance, which is rarely needed, is very fast and efficient.Security staff are attentive and polite. You always feel safe.Would definitely recommend living here.
