Wish I can give 0 stars!! I am a resident and they will try to charge you for late rent even if it’s not late!!! The management here is horrible and if my problem is not fixed I’m filing a claim with the court!!
Poor management. The buildings have mice running in and out do them. Maintenance does not take care of them. I reported the issue multiple times to the rental office. We caught 5 mice in one week sent pictures to front office as proof. Also windows are not sealed so the rain and moisture caused black mold to grow on window seals. The plugs 🔌 on the back wall stopped working randomly. Sure the mice chewed up the wires in the wall. For what the rent cost to live there we shouldn’t have to deal with rodents infesting our home .
I lived at the The Residence at Turnberry for more than five years and I cant recommend it enough! Its a very safe and friendly community. Maintenance always responded to any requests timely. Kelsey, the Assistant Manager could probably name every single resident and their pets off the top of her head! She has always been patient with me and kind. She clearly cares for her residents. The rest of the office and the maintenance crew are also so helpful and friendly. Their partnership with Powershack Gym is a great perk! I really enjoyed living at The Residence at Turnberry and my time there will always be considered a special part of my life.
Very happy and content. The lockdown started within a month of moving in so my interaction with management has been minimal. The apartment was clean when I moved in. I live in a 2/2.5 townhome, very spacious, plenty of storage. The garage is a great bonus! Last night I noticed my AC wasnt working. I did an emergency maintenance request and got an automated email. I assumed since I classified it as an emergency I would hear back from them soon. I didnt. Today shortly after 1 I tried calling, a call center answered. I explained the issue, she said she would submit the work order. I had an email acknowledging my request within a minute. Within a minute of that I received an email that said the request had been dispatched. Inside of 10 minutes maintenance was here and at 10 minutes till 2, the call was completed and my air was working again. Cant recommend high enough. THANKYOU! I got used to living without AC in Germany, but its been years and while this hasnt been unbearable, Im glad its resolved.
I lived in this community just shy of three years. Although the apt I lived in for nearly two years had cracked, leaking windows that damaged our property that management would not address, all of our other maintenance needs were satisfactory. Upon moving out of this community we were hit with over $1,000 worth of charges due to reports of pet urine and were told the nearly $1,000 we had already spent to have the pet was only a convenience fee. We were prompt and paid the balance as we were so fed up with this community we wanted to cut ties as soon as possible. We received a receipt of payment on July 20th. On August 13th we received a bill from collections saying our bill to this community had not been paid. Of course this is extremely upsetting coming from a couple with outstanding credit. Management of this establishment is the most terrible management I have ever encountered in the first place, and upon calling to discuss yet another issue with them I was told that they would follow up. This apt complex is in a great location; however, due to horrendous management I would NEVER recommend this apt complex to anyone.
I highly recommend The Residence at Turnberry. The community is quiet and friendly with beautiful landscaping which is very well maintained. My townhome is very spacious and the attached garage and patio are a huge bonus. Maintenance is on hand when needed and always in a swift timely manner. All of my needs have been met right here. If you are considering a move, I highly recommend stopping in and checking out this community.
I am a resident and all I can say is do not move here!!!!They offer nothing the place is horrible and the management is even worse work orders do not get done and office is never open!!!!
DISAPPOINTED :( Its rare that I write negative reviews, but todays unprofessional behavior from the leasing agent concerns me. Currently, I am in the process of finding an apartment to move to within the next month. I strategically chose this apartment due to location, appearance, and the layout of the home. Yesterday, was the only day that I would be able to getaway for a couple of hours and check out the community. The hours of operation stated that the office would be open until 5pm. I traveled in from out of town early just in time. I arrived at 3pm and realized that there was a sign on the door & the clock showed the return time of 4pm. Since I had to wait, I decided to drive around and grab something to eat to waste time so that I can view this community. I came back at 4:05 (an hour and 5 minutes after) and the complex still was not open. I waited about 10 more minutes and then I proceeded to make a phone call to the number that I found online, which I believe was the management. I asked if they were closed and the attendant stated that they should be open for business and provided me with the leasing office number to the community in Pickerington. When I called the leasing agent a women picked up the phone and we began to converse. I asked her if she was in the office because I was here in the parking lot waiting to view the property. Her response to me while trying to rush me off the phone was she was finishing up reports and she will open after. Are you serious? Do customers matter? I sat in disbelief for approx. 5 more minutes just to see if she was going to open the door or even and hopefully apologize, but she didnt and I left very disappointed The biggest dilemma for me was customer service. She did not even take the time out to acknowledge me, which was very disappointing.
I’ve been living at Turnberry for over 4 years and it’s been a wonderful experience. The office staff is always helpful and cheerful. And when I’ve needed maintenance, it’s always been taken care of the same day.I would recommend this community highly.
Ive lived here for over a year and have had a great experience. The property management is super helpful and kind. Maintenance is quick and reliable. The property has a great grounds-keeping crew that keep the property looking nice 100% of the time. Our unit has a great view of the golf course from the rear bedroom, and also has some nice outdoor space as well. The pool in the summertime is great. There is plenty of room to lay out, and even has a nice grill. The location of this property is what I appreciate most. It is less than a minute from I-70, I work at OSU and get to work in less than 20 minutes door-to-door. Id recommend this place to anyone looking in Pickerington.
The most unprofessional place I have ever been, I generally dont 1star to anyone unless they are really pathetic(check my other reviews). I am currently looking for rentals, I called them got apt and when I went to leasing center the lady wasnt aware of it and didnt even asked me to seat down or offered water anything, not even introduction. For 10 min conversation I was standing whole time and she was seating down and didnt had any courtesy even ask me once, its not that she asked me stand but its basic courtesy to ask someone to take seat. When I asked to show apt she said its not ready then I asked why they give me apt if its not ready, she was like I dont know. Complete waste of time. Dont visit this place NOT recommended.

I hope live in this apartment for close to 4 years and we pay our rent on time with no late payment.on Monday last week we received a letter from the property management that they will no longer to going to renew our contract.and with no reason what so ever. I wrote a letter to the manager to please help me because I have my family daughter getting married she only responded No I can’t!!! I was in pain and felt help less . I pray to God that moment to bless me with my own house soon.as I am sending this email around I received a letter in the mail from one of the bank that I have been pre approved for buying my own house .with God all things are possible .believed. in God always . I love God
I have lived at Turnberry since 2011. The management staff and maintenance are professional, responsive, friendly and have passion. In my experience, maintenance response is usually within a day or two. Emergency response is practically instant (Im taking 15 minutes, folks).There is always a fun contest to engage residents and communicate changes affecting the community (email, Facebook, text, monthly newsletters etc).My town house has 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath. Attached garage, a patio and a privacy fence, and a guest parking space. The property has plenty of grass and trees. On warm days, you see residents walking their dogs, chatting, waving at each other. You feel safe here and its peaceful.And talk about convenience, the location is ideal. You are just off 256, 3/4 miles from I70. You can get to OSU in 15 minutes. There is a Wall Mart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Movie Theater, Giant Eagle, Kroger, Walgreens, and CVS within a few miles of the complex. You dont have to leave Pickerington for what you need and its right outside of your door.I recommend Turnberry without hesitation. Both my mom (also a resident) love it here.
RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! We lived there for a year. The townhome we got, besides being old and poorly mantained, was infested with big spiders on the walls. When we arrived, all the exterior was dirty and the door and walls were covered in spider webs. During the fall, I would kill no less than 5 to 10 big spiders a day. On top of that, half the power outlets didnt work. One of the columns at the porch looked like the leaning tower of Pisa, it was so inclined that we feared the roof would fall on our heads.Worst of all, when we moved out, they charged us hundreds of dollars for alleged pet damage to the carpets...and WE DIDNT HAVE ANY PETS!!! We disputed the charges and they refuse to deal with the problem and delegate everything to a collection agency that keeps bullying and harassing us. Please save yourself from a lot of trouble and go live somewhere else.
The Government Projects of Pickerington; this was a “ready-to-show” unit. They can keep my $135.00. I bought myself outta this trash. Outside trash everywhere too. Gates, pretty face, then trash.
This is a great place to live been here for 3 years and I love it I’m sad to go but it’s for the better! The management staff at the office is amazing always polite and the maintenance staff as well they are always friendly and helpful

Horrible management. Was deducted $200 out of our deposit for carpet pet damages and we never had any pets the 3 years we lived here. I don’t recommend this place!!

2022-04-04The units are updated and beautiful. They have spacious 1 and 2 bedroom units with a cozy fireplace and a beautiful wooded view from a private balcony. The grounds are quiet and well kept. Neighbors seem friendly. Sarah in the leasing office is wonderful. Very friendly, professional, and accommodating. She immediately set up a time for a tour and took down all of my contact information and made notes on what I was looking for. She was quick to respond to all of my emails and addressed any questions I had. If you’re looking for an apartment, definitely check them out.

2022-05-05I have been looking for apartments locally and believe I have found my next home. These apartments are very spacious and nothing short of top notch. Beautiful amenities and a great neighborhood. I love Pickerington and the school district. The women in the office were also very accommodating and wonderful. I have a rough schedule to work around, and Rachel was nice enough to help me, Sarah too! I hope to be moving in soon!

2022-01-27DO NOT MOVE HERE. This apartment does not care for its tenant and has HORRIBLE office workers that will make promises and ignore you for MONTHS. The apartments seem okay first glance but come with many problems including water damage,roaches, and rodents. They try to scare you for as much money as they can get and will claim you made damages that you did not make. Lastly, we experienced the apartment trying to do everything they can to evict us to do renovations so they can up-charge more tenants after we moved out. They unlawfully towed our vehicle parked in OUR spot and wouldn’t give notices when walking into our apartment. Save yourself the trouble it’s not worth the almost $1400 a month.

2022-01-27Charge too much for outdated appliances. $1360 a month for a fridge made in 1990. Not to mention rude staff and neighbors. Drunk neighbor hit our car parked in our assigned spot and apartment refused to do anything even when police were involved. You will constantly hear sirens due to police and ambulances CONSTANTLY in and out of complex usually late night.

2021-12-16We were sent to collections for carpet stains despite doing a move out tour and being told by maintenance that there shouldn’t be any issues. The office never contacted me to let me know of any charges and I only found out after I was called by the collection agency for these charges I knew nothing about.

2021-06-30Turnberry is a great place to live! It is central to all your shopping and grocery needs, you are close to the interstate for fast travel, and they keep the area pretty well clean. I’d like to start with the everyday maintenance. As being a maintenance man myself for a short period of time, that job can get pretty busy depending on the time of year. Despite all that, the guys here are pretty well on top of what needs done and taken care of and they are in and out of your home as quickly as possible. They know what they are doing and do it well. The leasing consultants are both presentable and professional. For being only two of them, they carry a lot of weight and burden for the residents here by getting work orders pushed to maintenance so that they can get done and juggling the tasks of showing off the property to prospective renters and doing the administrative work for those who currently live here. 5/5, great all around.

2021-04-01First and foremost anything I say in this post has nothing to do with the maintenance technicians on sight because they have been nothing but helpful and nice throughout any of my needs when coming to the apartment. Same goes for the corporate office although I feel they need to have some more accountability for the people that run the location on a day to day basis. The management staff on sight throughout my 3 years living there was just absolutely terrible, constant battle of them losing paperwork and checks when they were doing checks by mail. And staff in office is just rude. I’m not one to bash but it just feels like if this place could do the little things right it would make a world of difference.

2021-03-10We moved into our town home September 2020, in less than a month we had a major water leak that went through floor/ceiling onto our new couch causing damage. Shorty there after we had ANOTHER major water issue from their old pipe lines that flooded our kitchen and dining room. We have had to empty our entire kitchen out for full extermination due to their roach and mice infestation which has caused extreme concern due to our sons asthma and it being a disgusting situation to have to be in. Fast forward to today, while cleaning out my car a heaverier set woman pulls up behind me with windows rolled up, gets out with NO MASK approaching me telling me to turn down music which was not loud(mind you its a beautiful day and im NOT the only one doing so). ONLY WHEN I ASKED who she was, did she state she was the regional manager of the apartments and this was all after operating office hours. I give 2 stars ONLY because of location and the square footage other than that paying $1375 for the inconvenience, roaches and damages is NOT WORTH IT.
