Ive lived here over six months. The staff is wonderful, and maintenance is always quick. The apartments themselves are large, dont hear much noise the neighbors make (unless they drop something heavy on the ground lol). Canadian geese gather on the grounds in droves in warmer weather! Theres also deer! Its quiet most of the time and dark at night, big change from living in a big city. Love it!
Apartment hunting can be extremely stressful, but the people at the Reserve have shown me that it doesnt have to be. The Reserve provides one-bedroom apartments at a very reasonable rate with excellent amenities and services, which is a total rarity in the area. Groceries are a three minute walk away, and Veterans Memorial Park is about a fifteen minute walk from here. Jess, Jayne, and Laura have all been top notch, and they have done a terrific job making me feel welcome and at home.
Nikki was so kind and thoughtful to my partner and I. Even though he was the one who was purchasing the apartment, she was considerate of me as well. I was welcomed to the view the apartments with him and felt very comfortable. Thanks again for all your help! I would 100% recommend!
Lived there little over a year. Apartments were fairly large for the price. Was on the third floor, so I had a dish washer, which was almost not worth using, as it never got things very clean. Water softener was nice for the buildings, but there is a ton of sulfur in the water for some reason. Furnace broke once while living there and it was fixed after the second attempt, so not too bad. Only without heat for a weekend. My main complaint occurred during my inspections and the move out process where I had to constantly work with the account manager since the women in the office couldnt give me concrete answers to anything, Always had to talk to the account manager for everything, which involved waiting to get called back days at a time. She confirmed that I was still illegible for my deposit as long as I completed my move out activities. I left them with a spotless apartment, even shampooing the carpets myself and fixing broken items. Then was sent a letter telling me I had to get the deposit from the previous owner and they misquoted my final price and I owed them 45 more dollars. Any follow up was being told I had to talk to corporate office and which led to never getting calls back. There is also the issue of the mold that I was told would be fixed while I was living there and never was. Now that I have moved out, it is much worse than I realized. I no longer wake up coughing up yellow mucus every morning now that I dont live there. I also had to get my tonsils out while living there and I am an adult, who never had a history of throat infections. I dont know how many buildings have the mold problem, but my understanding is that it was more than one. I would recommend shopping around, as my next place was just as big and cost the same without the mold problem.
A woman had a lease here, that she had to terminate early. My girlfriend and I were looking to take over the lease, and were extremely excited. She told us our dog had to be under 35 pounds, and ours is 30. When we went to the leasing office to sign paper work, they told us we could not live there because our dog was over 25 pounds. Beautiful facilities and well maintained, friendly people. But to not be understanding of 5 pounds seems completely unreasonable. Were both hard working and always pay on time. Im sorry they lost our business over this. If you are a dog owner, I would steer clear of this place!
Maintenance has been acceptable. The office is functional and despite a few mistakes have done what they can to make up for them. The office can only take money orders or checks for any incidental charges, which is inconvenient (who uses checks anymore?). The location is within walking distance to Giant Eagle, Marcs, and a few other stores - check google maps for the variety. You get a lot of space for the money. But the floors are paper thin (the walls seem better insulated). Also, all of the floors are creaky. I can feel my side neighbors walk across the floor. I can hear my upstairs neighbors live. They stomp across the floor (though Im sure they dont do it on purpose). I can hear them converse, and sneeze, and go to the bathroom, and vacuum, and other things. And Im sure it goes both ways. I try to walk lightly so that I dont disturb my downstairs neighbor, for whatever good it does. The floor still creaks and Im sure she can still hear everything I say and do.This is something no leasing agent will ever tell you about their apartment buildings, and believe me, I asked very pointed questions about the noise levels. They told me they never had any complaints. I dont believe them. I absolutely would never have rented here had I known how bad it is.My life here is miserable because I share mindspace with my neighbors when all I want is peace and quiet. I understand some level of noise is to be expected; its an apartment, hot a house. However this is way too much. Not to mention if you need to use hot water, it takes at least 2-4 minutes of running hot water before it is ready (lukewarm). The water bill is fixed monthly and tacked onto your rent, and I suspect this is one of the reasons. If I had to pay for all the water I wasted just to get hot water, Id be suing (a small amount Im sure, but still an undisclosed hidden cost). The floors arent level either. You can tell where the building is starting to wear down because of it. I hope it doesnt fall apart while Im here (and Im only halfway joking). This is one of a number of other minor complaints that I could live with (some I knew about getting into, others not so much) if the above major complaints didnt exist. The office management spoke to their DM about my concerns. They looked into a transfer to put me on a top floor of another building. 1-2 months later (there were delays because maintenance had to fix things in this possible transfer apartment), they later informed me that this would cost me $300. This in addition to having to uproot my life to move for another two months during the northeast Ohio winter (I moved in the fall to avoid this scenario). Im not sure if I will, since the problems may exist in the new apartment as well, and then Id be out the headache of moving and $300 for negligible improvement. My two cents. If you are ok with these issues, this apartment complex would be great for you.
I am so excited to be moving in at the end of this month. The woman in the office nikki has made my apartment finding experience sooo much better and way less stressful. She was outstaning to be around and really compassionate. I know if i were to move in things here would go so smooth. Also such a safe area!
In four years I had 5 pieces of blinds break. Keep in mind they’re from the 1950s, when I moved out they charged me 90$ to replace all of them. Also keep it in the back of your head that everything in these building are incredibly old. Do you want to be responsible for refurbishing their property in such an underhanded manor? This is only one instance. Also, smoking pot is a bigger offense than leaving dirty heroin needles next to your car for some reason?
Dont Do IT!!!!! I can hear the guys that live above me phone vibrating. It sounds like 3 ton elephants walking around at all times of the day / night. Any single movement makes a shrieking sound from the cheap ass paper-thin walls! The hallway lights dont work... Ever... I just heard the guy above me fart... The worst apartment complex I have ever visited / lived in. Ever. Would not recommend to anyone!

2022-06-27We walked in to speak to someone face to face and we spoke to Christina initially and she was super nice to our faces. When we came back to apply and do paperwork, we had Noreena. She was nice enough but when we called to let them know we were about 10 minutes away, we walk in just to wait while she takes someone else on a tour. We didnt want to let that ruin our day, maybe there was an appointment (would have been nice to be told, but whatever, ya know?) Next we have to pay for everything and do the application and everything was fine after that half hour wait. A week goes by and my boyfriend gets a call from Christina telling him that we werent accepted. He was upset and asked her why we were denied and why we were gonna be homeless, and when we could pick up the $300 holding fee she just hung up on him. He called back a few times and she didnt answer. I called and she picked up instantly to give me no info except a harsh sounding call the number on the letter you get. So I find a way to the leasing office the next day. I walk in and shes with someone. I notice and wait, I didnt want to intrude, I get that this is a hard thing to do, apartment hunting. After there is a natural lull in the conversation she leans over her desk and yells Can I help you? At me. I tell her who I am and she goes sign this and slaps some paper down in front of me. I sign it and she goes have a good one in a tone that was just so condescending and sarcastic that it hurt. Its not her fault we werent accepted, but she could have been so much more professional. Especially after we got news like that. Weve never had any issue with renting before and suddenly we arent accepted here. It was just an overall bad reception and situation. Maybe in the future my mind will change, but man, we sure didnt appreciate it.

2022-07-05Was out looking for a apartment and cameTo see at The Reserve at Lake Point. The grounds are meticulously well kept and the buildings are well take. Care of, nice curbside appeal !!!!Met with Nikki and discussed and review the community and went on a tour of a apartment. The apartment shown was very nice. I have a little dog and they are pet friendly and I seen few about on leashes with their ownersand felt right at home.Nikki was very thorough explaining all of the amenities and features of the community. The office staff were all very nice and hospitable. Even met a maintenance man who introduced himself as “Tom” he offered me a beverage and handed me a bottle of water. Tom was very pleasant and kind. And welcoming as well.Going thru the process of moving from one place to another is rather stressful and adding a short frame of time to do it in is VERY stressful, Nikki went above and beyond helping me and was always available when I called the office to help me with questions about the set up and all that I needed. She reassured I would be ok and in before I knew it. I can’t explain my personal situation, but do know this, human kindness and alittle positivity in your life can make A HUGE DIFFERENCE . A great big Thank you and much appreciation to Nikki for helping My little Daisy and I get our new home at The Reserve at Lake pointe.

2022-02-01I applied to this apartment I thought that I was just applying so you have to pay $300 holding fee of apartment with a $75 application fee. I called today. Which is a matter of 6 days since I received copy of application I called today to say that I have decided not to go along with said apartment and they are keeping all of the money! They said they couldve rented that apartment the whole time thats why they are keeping all money but they are going to rent it out ANYWAYS eventually. Needless to say READ EVERY INCH OF YOUR APPLICATION because they are scamming people in here Im glad I never lived here I can just imagine the scams in between lines of a contract.

2021-08-24I moved in less than a week ago and I am so happy with how beautiful and spacious my apartment is! I share a building with only 7 other people. There was a problem with my oven that was fixed immediately. They are very responsive and care about the residents. Its in a great location that I am so happy to call home.

2020-08-18I recently moved into The Reserve at Lake Pointe. The staff is fantastic and very professional. If there is an issue, it is addressed immediately and with a smile. The leasing staff has been EXTREMELY helpful ( especially Laura/manager) and the maintenance crew is visible and working hard throughout the day. It’s comforting to know that we are well taken care of here. The grounds are beautiful and well landscaped. The clubhouse and pool area are new and inviting. I enjoy watching the wildlife (deer) roam around the property. I definitely feel safe at the Reserve at Lake Pointe. The price is definitely right!!Thank you!

2020-07-08While in the market for a new apartment I had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Murray who showed me the model suite and the amenities. She was very professional, knowledgeable and was wonderful to work with. She wore a mask and told me about the COVID-19 precautions they are taking which for someone who is immune suppressed was good to hear. Beautiful property. Recommend checking it out.

2020-09-06Very well hidden gem here. My wife and I have been here for over 10+ yrs and its one of the best maintained complexes around and the staff is very professional and they listen to your concerns and will work with you on anything that happens to break or go bad. Pricing is ok for the area and your right next door to the shopping stores. Thats all good. Pet friendly with a fee and the people here are nice. You cant go wrong here. Highly recommend it here. Also Laura wheres the Candy at? Lol

2018-06-14We have lived here for 3 years and I cannot say enough positive things about the staff. Maintenance is always quickly on any task that arises and the leasing office staff does a fine job as well. Our one bedroom apartment is perfect for us newlyweds.

2020-10-15Place is a scam. Prices continually go up, hidden random fees, staff are straight a holes with no care and no help. Rent check is just thrown aside til there ready to open yet put eviction notice up 13 minutes on late payment, you can never get maintenance to fix anything if you do they leave a mess. Place is absolute joke and overpriced. Got random hidden fee because staff says still havent received rental agreement although I faxed and personally handed a copy in April and said oh well nothing we can do about overpayment. Total bs place needs new owners and management.
