Another wonderful stay at the Inn! Can we get a hand for Dustin (front desk), Chelsea (service), and Garrett (service) for their attitude to go above and beyond with customer service and friendliness! Housekeeping leaves the rooms looking spotless. As always, the food is delicious, fresh and top quality! See you next month! We love the Sunshine package! Thank you for making traveling so easy!
I stay in this hotel whenever Im in the area on business. I would argue that this is the best hotel, dollar for dollar, youll find in the country. The entire facility is gorgeous. The staff is wonderful. The bar and kitchen are open every night. The rooms are large and have a luxury feel.
The room was quite nice. The shower had a rain head which is unique and there was a separate vanity area with a sink outside of the bathroom which was nice. A mini fridge and microwave were included in the room as well. An item I noticed quickly and was impressed with where the thick curtains on the windows which blocked out any light from outside. The view was nothing special from the window but that didnt bother me too much. Breakfast was included and was more than a typical hotel but nothing too grand (eggs, hash browns, yogurt, bagels, fruit). My favorite part was seeing a reading nook with two bookshelves full of books. It was a nice added feature. Overall, it was a nice place and Id stay there again if needed.
We booked a wedding reception at The Inn. It was fantastic. The food was delicious. The chef even baked and decorated the cake. It was beautiful. The staff did an excellent job. Some of our guests stayed the weekend for the event and were very happy with their accommodations. We highly recommend The Inn!
Excellent customer service, they gave me a special ONU rate. The lobby had a great jazz ensemble playing, the bar was cute, and the dining room was quaint with excellent service. The room itself had a strong, sweet cloying smell, almost like too much air freshener was used. Other than that, the room was clean, and the bathroom was large. The shower was recently renovated, and had a large rainshower head. Unfortunately, the worst part about the room was the bed. It was so uncomfortable, I had to get up and take medicine because my back hurt so bad. My back has not hurt before or since, so I am pretty sure it was the bed. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay, but the bed is a pretty important element. I hope it was a fluke, and not a reflection of the hotel as a whole.
Was relocated to The Inn after a water line break. This is a wonderful hotel. Guests seemed offput by a college student but staff was very friendly. Located in the front of campus, its difficult to miss. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds Ive ever slept on. The bathroom is also amazing. It has a towel warmer and a gigantic shower. My only issue was a lack of Ethernet support for my room, but the WiFi is sufficient. Definitely worth the price.
Nice rooms and set up, super quaint nestled right into the campus. Occupied a 3 person room during the stay, layout was great. Super spacious. TVs in all rooms. Full kitchen. Shower a little odd with one glass pane. Looooved the heated towel rack. Breakfast was a standard contennetial, nothing special. Had an issue with our door/keys upon arrival, mostly resolved. Heard the food and bar was good for a dinner, but it does close before 10 on week nights. I would absolutely stay here for an event on campus again.
Clean? Sure! Decent rooms? Yes. Started off by checking in asking why a group rate was the same price as normal pricing and received an eye roll from the lady at the front desk, then we asked why another group members room was only 129 a night and received a mouthy rude answer that 129 isnt even a standard rate (why I posted pic) and how this is the only accomodations in Ada and they can pretty much charge what they wish! Found that comical! Came back from the wedding and a frat party was being held in the lobby, to the point you couldnt have a conversation unless you completely left the area! Ordered food and immediately was harassed about standing in the lobby/bar area with outside food and how its not allowed! Wasnt sitting in the lobby eating, was standing waiting for my party so we could go upstairs to eat! Meanwhile the regulars and locals had the same pizza I did eating 10 feet away from me plus another two empty boxes in the trash! Then we got a lashing that glasses werent to go outside when in reality we were actually cleaning up after ourselves and taking the empty glasses back to the bar! Also the short little cross eyed peanut built guy behind the desk acted like I was going to rob the place and followed us to our room. Very rude and judgemental staff, is it worth 129, 168 or 229 a night? Not by a long shot! Next time we will just take a Lyft home and save the money! For those prices you could find waaayyyyy better, maybe not on the big campus however Id prefer a short ride from wherever then be judged and attacked by the front desk Nazis! Im sure they will count how many plates and cups of coffee we have in the morning and make sure we dont pass our allotted amount from our breakfast cards. Apparently if your a regular at the bar you can do as you wish! Dont expect to go to the bar or lobby and expect to hold a normal conversation unless your literally ready to scream over the frat partys! Sorry however your front desk/hall monitors ruined anything positive I felt about this establishment! Perhaps I should have offered that big ole lady a slice of pizza, maybe things would have been different.
Huge comfortable room on the 2nd floor with vaulted ceilings. Free wifi that includes free access to New York Times online. Free full breakfast included. Bar has a good selection of craft beer. Walking distance to the campus. Amenities I did use are the fitness center and business center.
Comfortable, clean, and attractive place to stay when visiting ONU. Pleasant staff. Lobby bar. Comfortable, casual dining room where an above average free breakfast is served. Lunch and dinner are served there as well. Unfortunately the restaurant stops serving at seven. There is no in room dining, local restaurants close early as well. The rooms include a small fridge and microwave. If you enjoy eating after the restaurant closes, be prepared by stocking your fridge.
Their staff who cooks for rehearsal dinners is not accommodating to those with dietary preferences. I called weeks in advance asking for a vegan option for two at the dinner. I was assured there would be one. When the day came, a buffet was served with nothing vegan in sight. All the cooked vegetables were clearly buttered, and the mashed potatoes should have been called butter soup. I asked an attendant about the vegan option, and she pointed to the salad which already had cheese mixed in with it. After explaining that I dont consume dairy, she said the cooks can make a pasta. All this was said as if I was an inconvenience. They presented us with penne pasta covered in a marinara sauce served to us a bit below room temperature. It tasted awful, like it came straight from a metal can. I think they prepared it earlier and forgot. I highly recommend to the staff to brush up on how to make great vegan food, such as food from minimalist bakers blog, or just look through a few plant based cookbooks.
The fan controls are locked, so the fan kicks on and off randomly all night. I don’t know if this would bother anyone else’s ability to sleep, but their attempt at saving a penny has woke me up again. It’s two AM. This isn’t fun. It’s heartbreaking because I really like the space, amenities, sinks, shower, mattress, and lighting; but, none of that matters when I cannot sleep.
I have had lunch at the Inn twice. The first lunch I had, I ordered the reuben sandwich with a side of minestrone soup. The sanfwich was great and si was the soup. The second meal Ive had there was the black bean burger which was a little disappointing. It wasnt as flavorful as most black bean burgers tend to be and it was served on toast rather than a bun.
You will not be able to find another place to stay like this one in the middle of a small town. The room is top notch. The only issue I found is trying to sleep at nigth. There are a lot of little noises which I was not able to find the source. Kept waking me up in the middle of the night.Im not sure why they listed hot tube as an amentity when they dont have one.
This is the nicest, cleanest, best staffed, biggest bang for your buck hotel in the areaI assure youYou wont be disappointedMaybe a little pricey but totally worth itNothing in the area even comes closeIts almost a luxury hotel in a small townProject for a weekend getaway or for the traveler just passing throughI stayed in a Jacuzzi suit and had a blastTheres a few bars and places too neat some what near byI guess if it was nice enough out and you was up to it you could walk to the bars etc

2021-07-11We stayed at the Inn at Ohio Northern a year ago for our sons wedding. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and very friendly- from the front desk personnel to those serving breakfast. The accomodations were beautiful as well. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay there again.

2021-06-05The Inn at Ohio Northern University exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and neat, the bathrooms are stunning (wish I had it at home!!), the housekeepers did a great job keeping things tidy. The food was spectacular; highly recommend the eggs benedict! The reason this isnt a five star is the wine selection from the front lobby shop is quite poor, but thats because I prefer sweet wines. All the sweet wines were still quite dry. The only other reason I didnt give it a five star is because though they have a ton of channels, plenty of them do not work; however, it did not take away from the little magical stay I had here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel to the area.

2019-12-07Pretty good food for reasonable price. Food was not very seasoned or fancy, more like good home cooking. This place is more of a high end social club atmosphere, small dining room beside a bar with lounge seating. Good atmosphere with a live musician. Pretty good service. Bar menu plus a very limited dinner menu, but a decent array of choices. Overall, we really enjoyed it and will dine again. Its not a high end fancy restaurant, but they dont charge like it either.

2021-07-13We really enjoyed The Inn at ONU. The setting was quiet, food was great, and the room was great quality as well. We left with a great impression of the university and The Inn is an important face to the whole campus.

2021-12-24A little over priced for a family stay with our kid coming to college at ONU. Breakfast wasnt even free. Very disappointing.

2021-06-07Hotel good but not insulated for sound. Kids and adults stomping overhead at midnight. Clerks dont do much and suggest we move instead of the problem people. Not how to operate a not inexpensive hotel.
