The Home Depot in other cities:
The staff was very nice we went for flowers and flower pots with the brackets to hang on privacy fences they didnt have a huge selection of flowers but the ones they did have were really pretty. Prices are decent and the check out was really quick and very friendly!!!
Terrible experience. Me and my mom who went up there wanting some dry wall and a few other things, we didn’t know where they where and how to get them so we asked for help from 4 workers. 2 standing around doing absolutely nothing and they said they can not help, another 2 who were cutting wood didn’t even point us in the direction. Let’s just say we didn’t buy a single thing from there.
After a bad experience with another major hardware store I can clearly say that I will be going to Home Depot from now on.Purchased a microwave. Plaquard stated cost was $85.00. Rang up at $130.00. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed and fuming.I was told that they understood my frustration. Same old line they tell everyone but still cant get it right.
Im pretty sure these guys hire hardware geniuses. I initially went to Lowes because it was a little bit cheaper and when I asked the service rep in the hardware department a few questions she had no clue what I was talking about and then referred me to Google. So I left. Came to home Depot, asked the same questions, got some pretty substantial answers, got some suggestions on tools and techniques, which helped me make an educated purchase. Will definitely be going back.
Wow I cant believe how I was treated today by the employee here today supposed name fred but actually ken is his name he was working in the tool rental area and he treated me as I was not a paying customer of a tool rental after my fiance and i rented a flex wall sander that kept loosing power when against the wall as I was explaining the situation after I had already called to the store and Jake who was a really nice employee here took my call and knew I already had called in to let them know the situation Mr ken stated that I had the sander for 3 hours well my point was when your 25 min job site away from the home depot and you have to drive from where you are from cleaning your car that took me around a hour to do and drive to job site pick up tool and drive all the way back obviously you are going to take a good amount of time in that whole process but the main point is this employee as I was talking walked away from me and lied about his name and was completely rude to me as a paying customer
Rented a carpet cleaner today and the clerk didn’t know anything about it. How do I know? Bc he told me how to use it and when I got home that didn’t work but instead it worked the complete opposite. Then the tool breaks in the middle of using it and I go back to the store and they won’t give me a refund. Just $5 off. Work use them again
I use to be a Lowes person. But when my husband and I had to buy our first washer and dryer, the Lowes rep was a bit rude and completely unhelpful at Lowes. We went over to Home Depot to see their selection and the rep there was SO helpful. He was very knowledgeable on their washer and dryers and so patient with us. I changed my mind right at the end of checkout and he just kindly helped me find the right one. He checked things online over and over for me and I was so grateful for the help. He was also so friendly, genuine and personable. We had mentioned the military recently moved us here and at checkout, he pulled up the military discount and saved us $200! He was so friendly, kind, helpful, very knowledgeable and patient. Above and beyond customer service. Thanks Charles and Home Depot!
Friendly staff, have had them ask if they could help with anything without any prompting multiple times, no one likes trying to hunt down someone to open a case or mix paint. Most of us working on a project are trying to get our work knocked out, not wander around looking for assistance with a purchase. In that way this is a good site.
Went to return rollers 3pack and brought two back because 1 was covered in paint. Told employee that the roller ruined two pans of paint with hair from roller. Asked if I could get a credit to purchase better rollers and was told no because I did not bring back the 3rd roller. So, $8.88 credit as opposed to asking for paint replacement all because I did not rinse out and return a used worthless roller.I asked to relay that these rollers should not be sold anymore so that is now my hope to prevent anyone else from wasting money and time with the 3 pack roller 077089143300.
Some crooked dealings going on here. Be VERY weary. I wanted them to add on a stick of copper on an order they hadnt even shipped yet, infact it was only a few hours from the original order time and wouldnt be loaded on the truck for another whole business day from my local store, and they cant do it. All they can do is either cancel the entire order and reorder thereby delaying everything. Or, charge me another $79 bucks to deliver 1 10ft copper pipe. Super crooked dealings! Aweful service. Very disappointed in their lack of service.
Home Depot is the place to go for lawn and garden supplies. They are currently the only store in the area with seed starter supplies. There is a nice selection available.I gave bought many perennial plants and trees here over the years. They are high quality plants at a reasonable price. I think they have a great variety every year.We shop here for home improvement supplies when needed. The prices are usually slightly better than Lowes and they have different brands to choose from.Overall Home Depot has every thing we need to keep our home and garden in great shape.
This is my go-to place I love Home Depot my friend Bonnie sizer work there for many years I worked with her at Jo-Ann Fabrics God bless her for all her knowledge and all her kindness toward me and all of her customers throughout all four years of retail she really made it for me here at Home Depot when it first opened I wasnt too sure about it until she came aboard what a great store great staff I enjoy the garden center and I enjoy the holidays God bless them all
I love home depots products but sometimes the price is a little higher than most. Customer service is wonderful if you can find someone whos not really busy already helping another customer. The only thing Im unsatisfied with whenever I try to call the store very rarely and I mean very rarely do they answer the phone. So then I call Lowes they always answer the phone.
This pertains to my washer purchasing experience only.I was looking to take advantage of Black Friday deals this year (2020) to purchase a new washer. Home Depot had a pretty good deal, and I ordered online. I decided to sign up for the credit card too, since opening an account was an extra $100 off the price.Well I placed the order and never received confirmation of the purchase. I called and talked to a home depo rep and after checking with my bank (no transaction recorded), the rep recommended reordering the washer again due to a “system error... that IT was working on”.No big deal, right... I ordered directly with the online sales rep, but... now the order wasn’t accepting the $100 off credit for opening the account. *sigh*No big deal, right... the rep talked to a manager and they decided that they could put a note on the account and “after delivery the credit would be refunded to my card.” Little questionable, but I saved the conversation and that was good enough for me.Last part was the delivery schedule. The rep looked at the list and told me they could have it out on Dec 3rd... Sweet, this was a big sales point for me.Ordering complete.... good to go.... maybe.Well that night the “IT issue” must have been fixed because my first order went though. So I had to go cancel that order from the website so I didn’t receive two washers. It apparently takes 3-5 days to process... now I’m just getting annoyed, but no big deal. Washer will arrive on the 3rd.Two days before delivery I get a phone call that they won’t be delivering my washer until February 17th... Um, what!?! How did inventory screw up so badly that the date shifts by 2+ months! Two! Surely this is a mistake? So i call and reps pass me around for about 30 minutes and finally try passing me to a local store manager that I “have to talk to”... well manager is busy with someone else. That’s cool, I ask the rep to have her call to talk when they finish. If you guessed they never called... you win.Anyhow, I had to call the store and talk with a manager to see if there was anything they could do or if they were willing to discount the purchase at all for the trouble. The response was no solution and no compensation... oh and they couldn’t guarantee I wouldn’t also get a call on feb 15th that the date had shifted again.Needless to say I’m disappointed in my appliance purchase experience at Home Depot. I expected better.I cancelled my order and took my business to Costco instead.
The employee from the truck rental unit (Kevin). Was extremely rude and had a disrespectful tone over the phone. Unhelpful and should be fired. You don’t talk to people like that especially when the customer has been nothing but friendly. Never coming to this store front again.
Worst shopping experience ever. The manager lady at the front has no soul. Wouldnt return my money I bought the same washing machine 3 times. They kept messing it up. Canceled my order then delivered it to the wrong house. When i finally picked it up at the store with the store credit they forced on me when i wanted my money back the charged me 50$ more than the listed price. Yay! If you choose to go to home depot dont go to the one in fairborn. May the odds be in your favor or just go to Menards
I ordered a door with a transom back in July, and due to Covid it took 3 months to get it ordered and delivered. Tracy kept me updated every step of the way. The door ended up being shipped and delivered with no transom and Tracy made sure they got it back and found a way to expedite the service without having to completely re-order the door and make me wait another three months. I’d like to say thank you to Tracy and the management team ASM Steven and The store manager Tiffany for making this process less stressful and for taking care of its customers.
Be prepared to have to do things yourself. Ive had very few interactions with the staff, which is fine because they are always less than helpful. If you want something off of shelf, be prepared to wait for over an hour, or climb and get it yourself. If you choose to come here, it is only for convince, and not for the experience.
My wife and I were treated as if we were nuisances. Post tornado weve spent a large sum of money at this establishment and have gotten good service from the men and women working the floor. However today we had an issue with our carpet order and wanted answers the Manager Eric couldnt be bothered. Instead were sent to returns where our order ends up being cancelled prior to us even talking about any solutions. If you need supplies and never have an issue this establishment is great. However dont expect to get a moment of any Managements time when an issue arises. Our plan is to shop at the Lowes down the street for items with any sort of complexity involved.
People are very nice very respectful and very eager to help you in any way they can and they never tell you that you got this product from here take it back where you got it from like Lowes usually do!!! Even though Ive seen Home Depot accept things from Lowes customers. You rock Home Depot.
Be very careful when you have the atore put an order online for you. Several years ago I had them order windows, paid by check. I was notified windows were in, went to pick up after work, they couldnt find my order. Order was placed, linked to someone else.My info was given to him,I was told to call customer service, management was rude. I was assured by CS issue was resolved. Years later I order appliances find out my credit card number has been put under his billing, my order is under his name again. I am now fearful this person has my address and will have someone break into my house. Why would Home Depot lie and continue to give this man my personal information? Another strange thing is when they looked up order using order number, my order doesnt exist.posting this in case something happens to me or break in occurs in my home.
Do not shop here. Drove over hour to get dryer that was in stock only to that I would have to wait another 2 months to get the dryer even though it was in stock according to their website was told that there was no manager on duty for me to talk to because they no longer have managers just seems like a joke of a store
I must say that I’m very disappointed in your customer service. Yesterday we pick up our online order of a garage door only to find after we opened the box the door was damaged! I called our local store and the lady who I spoke with was VERY rude and told me there was nothing she could and basically tuff luck (now I get it right now is a very trying time and stress levels are high) I simply replayed thanks anyway. I then called the 1800 number the lady there was extremely nice however not very helpful. She told me that I could buy a second one over the phone and then bring back the damaged one or test my luck and wait to see if when I get there they happened to have another. The state where I’m currently at is a state that does not want people out and about. They are also limiting the number of people in a store and can have a waiting time of up to 45 min just to get in the store! I would not be replacing this garage door right unless i had to, believe me not an ideal time for us either. Lol I don’t understand.....if they don’t want people in the store and are trying to limit interaction why not pull the new door and just switch them out curb side just like my husband picked it up? My husband is a contractor and is still considered essential. We have been life time customers and do lots of business through the Home Depot. Definitely not happy with the product or service we have received. We will be returning our garage door and taking our business to Lowe’s or menards from now on.
It took 4+ months to get the countertop installed after I walked into home depot with measurements. KBR went back on their word that they gave to the associate at home depot that they would honor a said price for my countertop. I had to file multiple complaints with BBB to get the order in at the original discussed price, home depot ended up paying the difference to KBR to get the order in, they were happy to take the extra money from home depot for the order but when the time came to install the countertop, KBR called me and said that I had to take my BBB complaint down or they wouldnt install. They ended up cancelling my scheduled install the day before the install date. It then took the BBB complaint down and after that I was told that they would get to it when they get to it, 4 weeks later, i had the install happen. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, worst contractor ive ever dealt with. I got a call from KBR after I wrote a review that they deserved with home depot where they yelled and cursed, said I was a terrible human for doing that.
Placed an order in May. Order was pushed back multiple times, this understandable but this was never communicated. Their delivery driver then sped past my house and refused to answer any calls. Customer service gave me a redelivery window of 3-5 days. If you want a overpriced sink kit this is the place for you but if you want lumber or buildinf materiels go to lowes or 84 lumber.
Recently ordered a Kwickset Halo wifi locket for in-store pick up, online showed instock. Ordered for curb side pickup, 5 hours later went to store to check if ready, a sale associate canceled order! Was not notified, or given the opportunity to wait for one to come in. Had to have the extended warranty canceled because of the order being canceled. I opted for the txt and email notifications. NEVER received one! Its best to call ahead before placing an order to confirm inventory. Also the associates should take the extra step to let the customer have an option before cancellation of an order
Home Depot was always my favorite to go to for my appliances, gardening, electrical, just everything. After tonight I shopped my last time there. My church is having a fundraiser and Home Depot does not donate to religious causes. It makes me upset that they support gays and gay right but can’t donate to a church.
I tried for 2 days to get someone on the Phone to place a $2,000 order for OSB. They forwarded my call to someones house where they dont answer the phone. HOME DEPOT is still commiting Service Fraud in the name of a Fake Virus... The VaXXine is what kills everyone in the end
We purchased material for a job about a month ago. It was going to take a week to get delivered. They only delivered half the order and have promised day after day that it was going out, one gentlemen even saying it was the next stack to be loaded on the truck. Wasted hours calling the pro-desk, sitting on hold, minute 10 of phone just ringing right now. Unbelievable.
No one know what they are doing in this store! You sell a product but can’t find a price for it. I ask for a manager and I was told they weren’t in the store. For 2 days I have been to the store and called and I still get told I DON’T KNOW. Yea I will go to Lowes from now on....
Worst service ever and everytime i went into one of their stores, nobody knows anything. Trying to get someone to help you is a joke. Then when they do you wait forever on them to really help you or get your product down for you. Calling you cant get nobody to answer and when they do they hang up on you, this is why I quite shopping at a home depot.
Visited this store two weeks ago during the COVID pandemic to get one essential item. I wore my mask and was aware of distancing to protect others as recommended by the CDC. I did not see another person in the store, employee or customer, who was wearing a mask or who cared about distancing! A friend of mine went to the same Beavercreek store yesterday. He experienced the same as I did plus another customer made fun of him standing in line because he was wearing a mask! Unbelievable!
I called ahead to ask if the tool rental department would be open until 6. They said it would be. I drove 20 minutes to get here and theres nobody in sight, the door is locked, and nobody answers any of the phones in the building. I sat on hold for 15 minutes before I decided to take my business elsewhere.
Went to exchange a high dollar product but would not let me exchange the value of the product for something else like supplies building supplies so now have to wait until my card is loaded with the money on it which could take 24 to 48 hours that being said puts me behind getting some jobs done tomorrow but its not a bad store just dont have everything a builder like me knees dont carry a lot of sheet metal roof supplies.
They have taken up my whole day to wait on a forklift driver spoke to carol the manager she was rude she also never adressed the problem.home depot had their biggest month this month tha ks to covid and she claimed theyare short handed.i doubt it.just negligent and very unorganized.word of the wise dont use a part store for installs
Dont buy a gas lawn mower from here I originally order mines online and picked it up at the Dayton mall store however it broke down after a month I dragged it to this store Breavercreek they told me I couldnt return a gas lawnmower after 30 days told me to call the 800 number I called the representative told me I would get my refund didnt happen called back a week later finally I took the lawn mower back to the Dayton Mall they finally issued me a refund and told me Beavercreek lied and I had 180 days to return the mower

2021-10-19Curbside pickup has taken over an hour and when I called to ask the status the lady immediately knew that I was waiting on my products and was very rude and demoralizing… told me I could come pick up the products myself if I wanted them faster. I told her they had my name on them and were already to go… she said excuse me who works here me or you…I chuckled and she said I told you your order is not ready and we will get it to you when we can and hung up… wow Home Depot wow…you have lost me and anyone I can tell to avoid this place…

I have never had any issues with service, help, or product availability.I was also very pleased to find out today that they help out individuals, the community, & Earth by accepting CFL lightbulb recycling free of charge. This is such a great service to the community and customer

2022-03-21Here is what my experience with the Beavercreek Home Depot was like when placing an order for 2 sheets of plywood, which I needed to be delivered due to not having a large enough car to move it myself:-Day 1: Placed order; delivery window is 6AM-8PM (or something equally useful), so I had to stay home from work to receive it.-Day 3: Plywood is delivered - quality is terrible (really... no one would buy this on purpose, so deliveries are clearly a dumping ground for garbage lumber), so they take it back. Day 3 wasted.-Day 5: I go to Home Depot to select the sheets myself for quality assurance. New delivery date scheduled.-Day 11: Stay home another day from work - no delivery, they forgot. Day 11 wasted. Requested refund of wood and delivery.-Day 15: still no refund issued. Call placed - oops, they forgot to process the refund. Now they cant figure out how to make the computer system issue refund, but assure me itll be handled in a few days. Disputed charge pending. So to recap: $240, 15 days of waiting, 2 days of which spent home from work, one trip to the store to pick them myself, 90 minutes total on the phone, and no plywood or money back. Theyre very sorry, but thats it... no further remedy.Learn from my mistakes.===================UPDATE:Since writing this review, over the last several weeks Home Depot has attempted to make good on this: they electronically refunded me the plywood, and since for some reason they couldnt figure out how to refund the delivery charge they had to get creative about this part - but they came through in the end. So, I got everything back but my time (which was substantial). I gave one star back, I guess. I bought two fine pieces of plywood from Requarth downtown, which was a quick and painless transaction.

2022-04-25Not one person even attempted to help me as I was up and down the toolbox aisles and visibly confused or in need of someone more knowledgeable to assist me. No one did and so I had to figure it out myself and then look up the info bc I didnt wanna buy the wrong stuff. And turns out I did and had to waste more time returning my items. So annoying and frustrating to see multiple employees in the middle of the day doing nothing to assist a customer. Not like they were busy or short staffed as far as I could see. They were grouped together and not helping anyone. So sad. People cant even get customer service at all.. so important but guess not at home depot..

2022-06-01It was ok. I needed paint and had trouble finding what I needed. No one around. Finally the guy who works in the painting dept. showed up. He helped me. Just wish he would have been friendlier and not on his phone.

2022-05-14At the beavercreek/fairbourn, Ohio store they were great from Jessie helping us find the Ryobi products to Grant in the section with the tools and his friend Ben found us a deal on the batteries and charger. They were very helpful even find out where they keep the string for my weed eater. Most helpful bunch if workers keep poll these guys!
