This is for all home Depot warehouses. Unload the thousands of trailers sitting in your yards. I have seen a trailer I dropped off still loaded same seal for 4months later.
This place is ridiculous......You will be waiting out in the street for hours just to turn into the building......Still no good slower than molasses
The navigation will to you straight to them. They check you in at the gate the you ho to another door and get a dock assignment. Drop your trailer then go to bobtail parking(I was a live unload). They have a drivers lounge. I didnt check(just went to sleep). They call you when its done. Come back to door then they tell you where to pick up the trailer. I was done in almost 2 hours
Great security gate crew. I only had to do a drop/hook.
As with any DC, took hours to get unloaded. That said, everyone was polite and professional.
Afterhours operator is very bad and unresponsive. He picks up the phone but doesnt answer and transfers to extension which doesnt work. Need to improve the service

Impossible to get them to answer the phone. Nor security, nor the manager, even the General Manager does not know how to answer a phone call for 2 days now... empty trailers are being re-positioned in a 30 mile radius from the DC...some lots are code locked or the security guards at those lots are completely clueless of whats going on and your trailer is stuck there until you get Home Depot people on the phone... and as Ive mentioned before good luck with that.
Its a breeze, the trailer parking is a little tight, but there is plenty of room to turn making it easy. The guards are quick and helpful. the only thing off is they impute your drivers license at the guard shack
Do no go in here. 24to 72 hrs. Drop trailer but broker do not tell you that has to to Monday to Friday. If you get here Saturday you will still for 5 days..+ you never know where you trailer is. They have 3 different drop yards.
Checking in is really slow, I dropped and hooked so cant say anything about live load/unloading. I was able to take a 30 min break in the check in line, took about 1 hour and a half just to get to the guard shack
Longest wait of my life. Waited over 2 hrs just to get to the guard shack, line was well into gateway Blvd. Once i was inside i bustled around 20 just trying ti find my drop stall... Asked 3 different yard mules... 😥
Drivers evoid this place for dropping your trailer, they tell you 24 to 48 hrs but they keep you more longer than that without any apology and any respect, they hold your trailer for a week and do their best to put you out of business with no remorse.
Been here several times and Every. Single. Time its god awful slow. Expect to wait an hour or more, just to get to the guard shack.*Update* These guys have come a long way. Used to be an hour or more to get in the gate, now its usually less than 10-15 minutes. Kudos to whoever remedied the situation.
They set app. time early in the morning but no overnight parking. Unloaded me very fast.
Insane back up to get in. Always. Noon=2 hour wait to check in. Midnight=been here an hour and a half and still 9 trucks ahead of me. The folks at the check in are nice enough, but the painfully slow check in, no natter the time of day (or night), is ridiculous.
Really wish theyd treat their employees better. The benefits are really good and the pay is pretty decent. I dont know if youd consider working here a good first job but its nice for starting a career path.
When its drop an hook they are fast, friendly and efficient. Straightforward lot. If you have to shutdown you cant do it there but they allow trucks to park across the way at Miami Valley Gaming.
Don’t go here with low hours!!!!! They will tell you to drive miles somewhere else to drop your trailer at a different location and the then drive miles to go get an empty!!!! Very inefficient and inconvenient to your H.O.S.!
Be aware the Shipping Office shuts down for a 30 to 45 minute meeting everyday at 1100. A line builds up while you wait to get your load paperwork from a short fused guy trying to go home. Everyone else was nice an helpful.
You just need your own copy of BILL OF LADING you receive a ticket from the kiosk for confirmation of delivery. Submit the ticket with your B.O.L.
This is a small DC but Ive been to worse. A little tight parking due to the regular weekend excess but not bad. Guard was very nice & knowledgeable.
They must be doing quite a bit of business, as the lot was so full that they had to put some of the trailers out in the entryway of the semi entry gate.
Slow check-in. Had to wait and watch the yard dogs to open a space to drop. Slow check-out. Closest scale is 10 miles away. Load was not balanced and couldnt get the weight legal for Indiana (43 ft). 7 hours to re-load.
This place is a joke, if they dont have space for your loaded trailer they send u on a 2.5 mile run to drop then they send on a 8 mile run to get an empty, and thats after an hour and half long line of other drivers wanting to go in also
I’m not being paid to say this, but I’m an associate here. I’ve worked at many companies in my life, however RDC 5084 is astounding. This place treats us associates with the upmost respect and dignity and proves this everyday with a 0 tolerance policy of disrespect and a boat load of goodies (plus the biweekly free buffet is nice too.) I’ve been here for a short while but can’t quite use the necessary verbiage to define my time here. What I can say about this job is, a drama free environment, a true feeling of pure morale, the promise of quickly climbing the corporate ladder, and the real satisfaction of working a warehouse job. I’m an associate, not a higher up, and I can honestly say that Home Depot RDC 5084 is a perfect place to work. All they ask is for us to work hard and honestly and the results are, fantastic pay ($15 an hour, after 6 months 16.75 an hour), a buffet of great food, and the respect and love that us hard workers deserve. Ive gone on too long, but this post can’t even contain the beauty of our jobs here. Please sign up and become an associate today!Also, I’ve read a recent review claiming the telling of “racist jokes” but in my time here, everything rude and disrespectful is taken care of swiftly and with punishment for offensive remarks, so much so that we can tell our leaders and call an anonymous line to report these issues. Been there twice in 2 weeksGetting in the gate there is ridiculous. Took 3+ hrs one time and I had to return the next day on the other. Do not go here if youre short on hours the place is the worst.
About 04:00pm I arrived, one hour and a half later,I got checked in. Everyone was very polite, so that makes up for the time waiting.
OTR have been here several times, but this delivery took 3.5 hours from the entrance. MAJOR BACKUP - No explanation given. Once at gate we could not drop there, was sent to another drop yard + look for MT which was NOT there. BE WARNED!!! YOU WILL WAIT FOR HOURS if del week of 8-24 to 8-28 of 2020!!!!
Running around to three different locations is nonsense go there sign in go to another lot 8 r miles down the road to drop ure load then go about 10 r 11 miles to another lot to pick up a empty nice ppl just the running around
Was a fun visit for me. Wouldnt mind visiting again. This isnt a store for anyone else who isnt an associate of Home Depot. Its a Regional DC with no area for customers, unless of course youre a trucker and need to drop a trailer. Then this is the place for you.
Very busy most of the time. Lots of trucks and yard dogs to work around. Average time for a drop n hook is about an hour from check in to check out.
Could be a bit more organized but overall good place. East to find. Check-in people were ok. No o/n parking but you can park down the street before the entrance.
BEWARE do not turn in the auto entrance the signs are confusing the truck entrance is the second left. Home Depot doesnt know how to run a D. C. EVERYONE OF THEIR DISTRIBUTION CENTERS IS THE SAME STORY.
If your a Contractor here, like JB Hunt or US1 LOGISTICS, Home Depot will cut your hours repeatedly during their slow times of the year expecting you to live off of nothing.I guess being a billionaire dollar corporation they have to watch every penny. FOR THOSE THINKING TO COME WORK FOR US1 HERE AT HOME DEPOT, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AS YOU WILL BE PROMISED 50 TO 60 HOURS PER WEEK BUT WILL BE LUCKY TO GET 30 HOURS.HOME DEPOT DOES THE SAME B.S. Guards are cool. Other than that there are alot of rats at this place. Jb hunt and yard dogs will go on power trip mode then get scared and tell on you or call police. Drver be careful here i think theres something in the water other thaan that in and out drop & hook.
I actually worked for the janitorial service inside the building, (Sizemore) The people inside are a joke! They dont even know you and hate you for doing your job because your in the way One of by far the most racist degrading places Ive ever worked and Im white! They would order there employees food and only if there was any scraps left then we could eat, Ive literally seen them make a lady leave in tears from bad treatment and called her janitor girl! The work looks easy but the people were awful! Cant tell you how many racist jokes I heard from regular employees! So word of advice if you do work here I hope your the voice to change it for them!

How hard is it to check people in? Here for a few hours now. I guess theyre doing background checks on every driver. Come here with full hours or suffer the consequences.
Not a bad drop. If you cant find a parking spot at the truck stops you can park on the street before you turn left to get on theirs.
FYI they will make you drop the loaded trailer at a different location and then pickup a empty trailer at a 3rd location and of course no pay for all the run around

Very long waits to get in and out of here. You will wait an hour or more to get through security only to have to take the trailer somewhere else and pick up somewhere else after that. Organization here needs to be reformed

Home Depot is the place to get all the things that you need to do your projects and there is a good staffing there that know what they are doing .

My biggest issue with the HDDC is the time it sometimes takes to ingate. If you are far enough back in line you could literally wait hours getting to the guard shack

2022-06-25This place is joke! You cant go in the gates to pick someone up(sometimes... never consistent). They make you park by the gates, which is fine, but then the trucks need to get out so you cant park there also. Oh... and if theyre having the grounds maintained, they kick up rocks and scratch your paint. You would think as much money as they make they could afford a little parking area outside the gates.

2022-03-30When I arrived to deliver it was backed up to the road. Long wait to get in and empty trailers lined up in the outgoing lane. Welcome Center was no help on where to go and said there was no empties. I asked about the other drop lots but said they had no empties. Place was a circus!!!

2022-05-10Drop trailer ,picked up third times this run ,thought that will be good each time, no it’s not broker says 24 hours drop trailer but it’s been a 70 hours and nobody’s answering the phone or calling me to pick up my empty trailer never dropped trailer here .

2018-04-25Thats only on the main roadIts another 10-12 trucks in the entrance waiting to be ingated. The check in security are nice people but very slow at what they do. It takes 10-20 minutes for 1 truck to ingate
