Absolutely pitiful. the use of slurs in this building is disgusting and shows how disrespectful workers in this building can be. i had a sweet young lady escort me to what i needed but a few other workers in here were disappointing. i cannot say i will come back for sure, this building can only be desperate for improvement at this point.
COVID precautions still being taken. We were helped immediately by the home improvement technicians. Our technician was knowledgeable and friendly. Im not a home improvement guy but this was a really positive experience. Our project is off to a great start. Thumbs high. 👍
Helpful staff and they carried almost everything I needed. Wholly GEEZE there is this one staff member that knows where EVERYTHING in the store is! He has a solid memory, kind of a photographic memory so he says if he sees it once he’ll never forget it. I recommend you ask for him to help you, he’s very nice, fun to talk to and he’ll direct you EXACTLY where you need to be.
Quickly found what we needed and checked out at pro 1. Had to take our purchase to customer service to place on hold for us to go get a bigger vehicle.Everyone we talked to was very kind and helpful. We returned to get our purchase after about 15 minutes and was asked if we needed loading assistance as we loaded our purchase.Store was clean, well organized and everyone was very friendly.
Lots of stuff but so much blocking isles that it is hard to get around and probably violation of fire code. They now offer vets the same discount as Lowes. Lumber is overpriced, like Lowes, and hard to find straight and blemish free. Also, lumber I bought was wet, all for premium prices (not Depots fault). Take it or leave it!
I was shopping with my daughter today 11/27 for a Christmas tree, and other items. I saw an artificial tree we loved and went to the return area and asked the girl if she knew if they have any more. She asked me for a number. I brought the tag off tree to her and she was headed my way. She snatched the tag from my hand and informed me not to remove the tags? Where is the exceptional customer service they we the customer deserves. She owes me and my daughter an apology. I have worked with many staff employees and this young lady is the worse!!Will this stop from returning? Not!! Next time I will request to see a manager.
Very rude sales person even tried to get me to go somewhere else and give them my business which I did and I will not go back to Colerain Ave Home Depot ever again if I absolutely need something from Home Depot I will go to Florence. This guy even was ride to the woman that was helping me to begin with. And went as far as to tell me that a woman should get a man to do any work in the house. What he didnt know was that my husband of 36 yrs died just a few years ago and I am not ready for that. All I know is that I wont be back to that store again I have never been so insulted in my life .....
Louis/Lewis that works here is always very helpful he is the younger Black male with locks in his hair. I think he needs to be recognized by Home Depot management for his work. He is always there and is handling the bulk of work because of co workers constantly calling off on weekends. He is a great worker, and is the reason why I go to this Home Depot because I know he is professional, and a nice guy.
Typical big box store for home improvement. This place is like a toy store for adults. I usually need 1 thing and end up being there for an hour. Im sure they have 95%of what you need at a reasonable price. Most employees are very helpful and will ask if you need help looking for something. And they have 10% discount for veterans
We went there to buy a new dishwasher. Picked out a nice one. Had to wait over two months before it was even delivered. Got ours fixed while waiting. We called to cancel the one we ordered. Told we had to wait until it was delivered before we could cancel???? Got a bill while waiting. Didnt pay it of course. Got a collection call because I didnt pay it. Had to go into the store personally to straighten it out. Kid that waited on me at customer service was rude. So I got rude...... They have lost my business forever. Never got to speak to a manager the entire time. 😤
Super helpful cashier working at the self check lines. The one register that was taking cash had a line down the wood isle. She opened her register to check me out and then did other folks as well. Great customer service! Something we usually dont get at big box stores .
Well I came there looking for two wheel barrels and a brick bar. We were only able to walk out with one wheelbarrow and it was the type of two wheels it was the last one that they had so then we decided to try to rent a skid steer and we couldnt get it started so we just stuck with the wheelbarrow and other words things were out of stock and as far as renting the equipment there were very limited options and the options that were available didnt even work at the time
Completed an online order for curbside pick up. After receiving an email that order was ready, received another email that part of order was not available. No worries. So went to the store to pick up the order. Let them know I was here. Waited ten minutes and no one picked up. Called again waited another 10 minutes. Someone picked up. Waited another 10 minutes. If I did not have achilles tendon surgery, I would have gone in myself. Wont happen again.
I was able to find what I needed shortly after I entered. They had a display of heaters and fuel near the entrance. I was not able to ask anyone questions about the 1K Heater fuel, no one in the area, but I read the directions and figured out what I needed. There were not enough registers open. They had self checkout open and 2 registers. Both lines were long, but moving. This was my first time at this location.
Purchased 20 carriage bolts to replace the bolts in a playset. I brought the bolts up individually but apparently the cashier rung them up as 20 in a pack. When I was purchasing them I explained that I bought 20 because I wasn’t sure how many I needed. I went to return the 6 and was told that it was purchased in a pack of 20 so they could not return the 6. However, I didn’t purchase it like that and it did not change the price of the bolts individually. When I purchased them it wasn’t in a pack or a box so none of that made sense. I spoke to the manager Wayne and he was very rude. I explained to him that no one at Home Depot has ever been this rude to me. So as I was leaving the other associate at returns said say hi to Lowe’s for me. Extremely rude. I have been a customer at Home Depot but will definitely not return. I know how well Home Depot has treated their employees during the pandemic and it seems like a great company to work for I would expect more from employees. ESPECIALLY a manager. Do better Home Depot.
Just needed to get 2 garage door openers. The problem I had was that I could not find a motorized cart to get to the back of the store just to get these. The other problem was I couldnt find an associate anywhere around so that I could get a question answered. With my back issues I could not walk around the store just to find one. At least at the store where I use too work (3822) you could almost always find someone to at least ask a question of.
Good luck getting any help! Paid for a Haul away for a washer. Never called to zero schedule..showed up at 7am and left because I didnt answer since i was sleeping. Rescheduled for 7am next day. Got up to be ready and no show. Called and a rude employee said your scheduled for between 11 and 3. Sorry. Hiw does sorry help me. Dont waste your time with this place
Disappointing my last view visits. Vested staff just tell me an aisle for what I want and last 2 visits I was sent to the wrong aisle. Once I had to ask 2 more workers where to really look and the other time one person before finding out the item was online only and not in the store. From now on I will go to Lowes.
Never have i had a rude interaction with a Home Depot employee like I did with your employee that was sitting in the window and blinds area desk around 11:30 today 6/10/2020. Yes I’m getting very specific because I wanted to ask him a simple question which all employees should know were a department is but I said excuse sir and he gave me the dirtiest look and just stared so I said excuse me sir again and before I could even get my question out he rudely replied I don’t work in this department slouched in his chair, doing something on the computer and continued to look at me like I had no business talking to him. the store the whole interaction just completely ruined my shopping experience, I walked around for a bit afterwards but eventually left since I just didn’t feel welcomed . I use to work for Home Depot and they were one of my first jobs out of the military and have always been nice no matter the location except this one apparently. sorry for the rant.
Just needed some tape went in got the tape self checkout was card only. Im not going to charge a roll of tape. The only other line open was at the pro desk. The line was eight deep with carts of lumber. What a joke. told your lady at the self-checkout that I wasnt buying she said thats fine with me we dont have any help. Heres an idea hire somebody or change yourself check out to cash and card. I will never go into that home Depot again Lowes is right up the street
I love going to home depot. when I was a kid I used to ask my dad to go to home depot because its basically a playground for adults and kids that are okay with staring at lights while their mom or dad looks for fun tools. also if you find a succulent seed that fell off of a previous succulent theres a chance theyll just let you take it because its not a whole plant yet. I think its funny how convenient it is to go to home depot since I never really thought about it. I love it. every time I go inside the smell of wood really just makes me want to remodel a bathroom or something.
It was a bad experience ! I bought 5 screens of Home Depot website which had flaws. Took them to the store for a refund and Ironically the online recept that was shipped to me had no dollor amount listed. My refund was half of what my online order price was. More so, I paid for it with my bank debit card thru PayPal and now I find out I wont get half my cash back , I will get a PayPal credit towards future purchases. What a Scam Corporate Giants play on the little hard working Citizen !
Went in to the store to purchase a washer and dryer unit. Took forever to get anyone and when we did, they didnt even know anything about the appliancesWe got them ordered to be delivered on the 16 of November, truck never showed. They rescheduled the delivery for the 19thOn the 19th, both units showed up damaged from a forklift, we called home depot while they were unboxed and sitting in our driverway. Home depot told us to go ahead and take them. We told the drivers we would take them, the drivers said no that we took to long and they wouldnt give them to us and they were taking them back. We explained to them home depot told us to take them, didnt matter, they boxed them up and left.Rescheduled deliver for the 24th. They call on the 24th and said they lost the units25th, found the unitsThey rescheduled the delivery for the 28th. 28th, show up, delivery units, dont switch doors like we paid for, so we had to switch themCalled customer service who talked to the store manager, they offered us a $50 gift card for receiving damaged units 2 weeks late.We are now lowes customers
Store manager is flat awful and don’t care about customers! Only Home Depot that only has two lanes ever open. Have complained multiple times. Workers say Manager wants to save money so he can get a bonus. Also have called corporate more then once. Nothing has been done. Stop letting lazy ppl run a store
Terrible service!!!! Waited 15 - 20 minutes in curbside pickup. Checked in twice. ZERO service. Finally went in to the service desk to get my order. Several people behind the desk but only one customer in line for returns. Why they offer curbside pickup is beyond me. Next time I go elsewhere.
Needed some vertical blinds for a couple windows. Staff was plenty helpful. If there were any thing about it that were a negative was that it ran me about $85.00 for 2 sets, (need 5), but I guess thats the going rate for new blinds cut to order, sooo... cant complain really.
I have been to this home depot location 5 different times this summer. First experience I had a worker disappear after helping another customer after he acknowled the fact that I needed assistance. The second time I asked for help in the garden center with dirt I was told theyd be right back to help. After loading 30 bags of top soil I walked to the front to see if they were able to pull the cart up. They had closed the gate and the guy I spoke to was MIA. Today was my breaking point when I was in to get a joist hanger and I asked for help was speaking to a young man and he admitted he didnt know what I was talking about. I said let me grab my phone and show you. I grabbed my phone to look it up and I look up and hes walking away totally just ignoring me. Like wow seriously I think I will have to drive out of my way to go to Lowes from now on.
Not a good experience, could not find a lumber cart, staff was very unhelpful, all the carts were full of misc. lumber and merchandise blocking the walkways. Lumber selection is extreamly poor quality. Finally checkout line took 20 minutes. This store just feels junked up.
My husband and I frequent this Home Depot often there is a young man that works there who is the manager by the name of Chris and he is phenomenal every time we go in if there is an issue he is always there to help, Aid and assist us we Praise God for him we are so grateful that he is at the Colerain Cross County store not only does he come to our aid but he always has a solution to the problem and his demeanor his disposition his countenance and his Spirit remain the same every time (Pleasant) this is and will always be our go to store as long as Chris is at this location.
I had to have someone to load quick Crete into cart. Waited for someone for 17 minutes. I told the cashier I needed help loading into my car. She told me someone was out there they could help me. 7 minutes later I returned inside because no one was out there to help me.
Went to the western hills store , then the Colerain store shopping for a new dryer. Both stores no help at one store the sales associate was right in the department and proceeded to stay on the computer. Upon walking out, the sales associate walked out too!! NO HELP!! What a shame to lose a sale due to workers that do not care. I give one star if I could I wouldnt give them even one star. Ridiculous!!!
Store is always a mess and customer assistance is generally lackluster or uninformed. Unstocked merchandise on pallets in all the aisles for days; unswept floors throughout the store; just junky. When you are working a home project and frequent the store, you see the same old stuff every day. Lowes is a much neater store, but HD is more convenient for me. Admittedly, I havent conducted a thorough comparison, the prices may be better at HD. Ive seen a standard piece of primed pine trim I needed was over two times higher at Lowes .
Very disappointed in Home Depot, on November 9th I purchased a Samsung washer and refrigerator was assured both was in stock to be delivered Sat Nov 21st only to get a phone call on Friday the 20th to tell me the washer is on back order and it will 2 more weeks before my appliances will be delivered.
The employees are rude thats why I try to avoid this location. But I called today to check on my order as to why its not ready 3 days later she tells me if its not essential they really not worried about them and feel free to come in the store and pick it up off the shelf myself! This will be the last time they get my business!
I will agree with the others, employees here are terrible. They butchered the flow for self checkout and I stood on the wrong side apparently despite no signs. Despite no line when I walked up, I had to walk to the end of the newly formed line and wait longer than the others after getting yelled at by the associate. If I didnt need what I had, I would have just handed it to her and walked out.Definitely wont be going to this location again.
Home Depot on Colerain Ave. Had a smart talking women in the paint dept. today her name was Mary. I was appalled, I am 71 and know to to treat costumers! Have always worked in the public eye. I ask to speak to Chris the mgr. Said he was sorry that they were trained to stay with a customer until finished. The man was not a costumer, was looking for something that this store did not have and was trying to understand directions to Michaels from Mary with no luck!!!!! I finally ask for a paint sample when she started the man was first and I could wait my turn and started to raise her voice. I told her not to take that attitude w/ me. She stormed off and said I will get someone else to wait on you. OK, sounds good. Here a news break for you Chris, acknowledge your people waiting!!!!!!!!!!!! Teach them that. For all I know this Mary had a problem with her peripheral vision.
COVID-19 outbreak just waiting to happen.My experience 4pm Sunday (2020-05-03):- No social distancing- Only 1 in 4 wearing mask (to protect others)- Of the 3 in 4 not wearing mask, one lady was coughing uncontrollably throughout store.Thoughts to Home Depot (and marketing):- Enforce ANY mask at door (sell them for $1)- Spray down cash registrar scanners between each user.- Spray/wipe cart handles.- Anything to show competency brings in customers - duh.
DO NOT buy any appliances from any home depot!! After purchase, they did not give delivery time. They called at 6am today(Saturday 10/10/20), to say they would arrive in 45 minutes ... Brought incorrect ice maker and did not put it together correctly. Home Depot really sucks whether in store or delivered, employees are brain dead.
This store has so many problems, when we call here so have to transfer 6 times to get to the appliances Dept! Employees are not helpful, we need to wait hrs to get help to find things! They hung the call before we finish and we need to make call again and wait 10-30 mins to get someone to talk and help! Overall the customer services are terrible!
Placed a same day pickup order and 6 hours later I had yet to receive a ready for pickup confirmation. I decided to go to the store and just pick up my items. Who knows how long I would have been waiting on home depot to decide when they were ready to put my order together. Needless to say I wont be back.
Yesterday, I went to the Springdale, Ohio Lowes to purchase baseboard for a client project.Įown Fix-it Frank LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio. Im replacing drywall and baseboard that was damaged ina flood. They had none of what I needed, but checked around and found that the Colerain store had plenty. When I arrivedad that store, they had none! Frustration mounting at this point! so, I went to Home Depot down the street, and they had boat loads , as per usual. Thanks HD!

2022-06-15Home depot implemented a no return policy if you paid in cash and dont have the receipt. They said there was signs up for 3 months but I go to home depot a couple times a week and I never noticed anything about a return policy change. Now I have a few hundred dollars in flooring that they will not let me return (product is still on the shelves for the same price I purchased for). The manager and a couple of the employees thought it was pretty funny and seemed to be very proud to deny my return....customer service is dead!

2022-07-03Usually stock what we need. An associate assisted with a hand held computer to find what we couldnt. He also got a ladder to get the higher items.Decent array of plants.Like seeing the high number of electric lawn mowers on display.

2022-06-13Was on the hunt for a very specific window ac unit. Did my due diligence and found that this location had them in store. Went, looked around and couldnt find them; so I came across an associate(?) named Carol. She was working what seemed to be customer service or online pickups, something like that. Carol took care of me, in a multitude of ways, she went above and beyond what might be reasonably expected of any random employee. But she was no random employee, she was amazing! Got the ac I wanted, after some help by another gentleman in plumbing I think his name was Tim, but I may be wrong. This ac is so perfect, and as someone said to me, great service deserves recognition. So I just wanna say Carol, and Tim(?) a big shout out from me to you, and Way to go Home Depot off Colerain, you guys have some awesome employees!

2022-07-03Called the store to see if any Amazon firesticks were in. They said they had 25. I couldnt find any, so I asked for help. The staff was very friendly. Their was 4 workers helping and trying to find them. Apparently its a high theft item. Imagine that. They said they will have them in about 2 weeks.

2022-05-25I ordered a 12×20 shed to make into a mini home & I was able to get a majority of the items I needed to make it how I want it. I just might post pictures later when its completed.
