The Green in other cities:
I have had an overall pleasant experience living here. The community is very clean and safe, trash services are good, landscaping is timely and does a very nice job, and I believe we pay a fair price for our amenities. However, there were and continue to be, several communication and organizational issues with the leasing office. It is extremely difficult to contact them if you do not go inside the office, where I have personally NEVER experienced them seeming overwhelming too busy to answer or return calls. We were told that maintenance would not fulfill our request for services until WE provided them a key to enter our home, I had to contact property management for our complimentary trash can that we received 3 months after moving in, and I find it important to point out they do NOT have a dog park like you are told. However, I do feel that after a few months of living here I have seen positive changes with the leasing office. I absolutely adore Brianna who works in the leasing office! She is so personable and helpful.
I started looking for apartments last month, I had to relocate for a new job in Columbus area, and needed something immediately. I met Mary at The Green and she sold me on living there. The care and customer service that I received from her made me feel so welcome and excited to move to this community, Brooke the leasing agent was very helpful when Mary wasnt available. I was leery at first due to the online reviews, but after doing my own research and actually meeting the office staff I am glad I made the move to The Green, my pros are all the appliances including washer and dryer, only electric and water utilities, and close to my job, cons, parking seem like a lot of cars here, no where to park at night. I would recommend!
Overpriced. It was manageable until we decided to leave. Signed a 3 months contract due to our house not being ready. Signed 3 month lease starting 8/6/2021 till 11/6/2021. Now Brooke in the office is telling me that from 11/01/2021 till 11/06/2021 I will be charged prorated. Please make it make sense to me. Can’t wait till I leave this place and never look back. Stay away from this place
I lived at the Green apartments for two years and just recently moved out. I lived in a one bedroom apartment and I loved the layout of my apartment, very spacious (reasoning for the two stars). The first year living here was great no major issues. The second year, management changed to Dietz property and everything seemed to go downhill.I have had maintenance enter my property without consent when I scheduled an appointment so I could be home, and they somehow ended up in my residence on an unscheduled day without my permission. Imagine coming home from work and finding the maintenance guy in your apartment without notifying you.I have had outrageous water bills that NEP has said could have came from a leak, but the apartment lacked care when it came to that.I have went without air conditioning at the beginning of the summer for almost two weeks. I have also went without heat last winter for about the same amount of time.It can be hassle to get a hold of people in the leasing office, you’ll definitely have to call a few times before getting a hold of anyone. The staff smoke outside the leasing office, which I think is extremely unprofessional.Packages are constantly being stolen, only a few delivery companies actually use the parcel lockers. Apparent there is security (I have never seen them), but it was stated by the leasing agent that security was only patrolling during the leasing office hours and would not move to nights. Why would one hiring a security company that doesn’t work both shifts. Top off stolen packages there have also been a series of car break ins. They took away resident’s access to communicate on the community wall through the resident portal (probably because it was full a various complaints from different residents). For this price there are better places to live in Columbus.
Im not sure where to start with how awful this place is. The apartments look very nice on first glance, but dont look too hard. When My boyfriend moved in there were syringes in the dishwasher that was also coated in mold. It took them 3 weeks to do anything about the dishwasher. One of the doors upstairs wouldnt latch, the downstairs sink was clogged with hair.Management recently changed but they dont care any more than the previous owners. There emergency maintenance number on the website is the same as there day time office number, so good luck if something breaks. The neighbors have complained of a rat infestation in their building that they say management wont do anything about. The cops are driving through here all the time, the trash by the dumpsters is becoming a mountain, the wall are thinner than paper. Dont waste your time looking here. there are tons of better options with lower price points.
One of the best places I have rented in Columbus Ohio. I love the community & The staff has been very helpful especially during COVID and always accommodates whatever needs I have. The Maintenance have always gone above and beyond to help my household needs. Never had a hassle or problem that couldn’t be fixed immediately. Would highly recommend great place for my family
We have been at The Green for almost 3 years now. We have loved living here so far. It’s very nice and quiet! Things have especially been better since Mary has become the property manager. You can tell that her and her team are trying to make the property even better. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store. I definitely love living here!
Lived there from October 2018 - October 2019, with a roommate who lived there an entire year before me in the same unit. She paid a $150 deposit to the previous management. When I moved out with her last October, they wants to charge us an outrageous amount for cleaning and carpet stains. We stated on our original lease the stains were present when she first moved in in 2017, we also paid to have the apartment cleaned before we left. Then they refuse to apply our $150 deposit to the charges. Best part, they LOST and have no record of the lease from Oct 2017. They constantly charged us for trash bags that weren’t even on our front door and we would provide time stamped photos to prove it. We definitely had some drug problems on Betula Drive too but management seems to be more concerned with harassing and nickel and dining the type of tenants they should want to keep there. Just steer clear cause after being gone for over a year Im still dealing with the mess they made. They told me they sent my balance to collections This past week, but I called the collections company and they had zero record of myself or my roommate having any account with them. The Greens solution? Email us that collections is up and running! Insane. Theyll likely get a letter of representation from me cause Ive never had such a difficult time - OVER $81.
Moving in was a mess, had to contact them to know we were even approved! Been living here almost 15 months and there are drug deals, multiple shootings just two doors down, and broken down cars out back with windows busted out. Tried getting out of my lease because of the violence and was told No! Didn’t even let me switch units to feel safer. Ever night I go to bed in fear of another shooting. I have a child but no one seems to care about our safety here. The people causing the issues are also still living here. They never answer the phone, never return calls, and don’t follow up. Please think twice before making your decision. The LC made these apartment beautiful but take into consideration a new company has taken over and it’s not the same as you’ll see in old reviews. I don’t feel comfortable what’s so ever in my apartment & feel like no one is on my side! I’ve also tried calling corporate, left messages, and got no response back!
I lived here for three years. The only reason I moved out is because I bought a house. The moving process is always stressful but I want to give praise to the new office staff. I want to specifically thank Mary for being a ROCKSTAR during my move out process!! She was very helpful and professional throughout the whole situation. She got everything I needed done in a timely fashion and was so kind and supportive throughout the move out process.Aside from this, the new staff is really turning the community around. I am sad to go and not stick around to see the other changes they will be making for the community, but am grateful I got to experience it within the last few months.
I just moved into The Green this week. The office was so helpful and I’m happy Miss.Mary was working when I toured, she stayed outside in the rain with my new baby so I could look at the apartment. My apartment is beautiful and I am glad I got in and moved in same day. Looking forward to living here :)
After months of searching we came upon this gem! Skeptical after many negative reviews but I kid you not, not every place is perfect but I would’ve been missing out on a great home if I focused on the negative things people say.Leasing office staff works hard. I see maintenance workers on site very friendly & helpful.Cameras around the compactor & garbage areas one for safety but also for clean up control. They have exceeded our expectations beyond measure. The apartment was clean and all of our questions were answered respectfully. Check them out! Tour ask the questions see for yourself! Don’t let the negativity from the past fool you
Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. We have had issues since we first moved in. The management team honestly has no clue what they are doing. Our lease is up in one month and we still haven’t had someone come to fix the problems we informed them of when we first moved in A YEAR AGO. We’ve also put it several work orders for issues with bugs crawling in through cracks in the walls and birds climbing into our vents. We have received multiple calls from maintenance telling us they would be out within the week to fix it. We received that message three weeks in a row and two months later.... STILL no maintenance. The icing on the cake was when we had management sign two copies of our non-renewal notice... one for their records, and one for our own because we did not trust them to actually file our notice correctly. Good thing I had a signed copy because I received a call stating that we didn’t provide our notice, even though we gave it to them two weeks before they even needed it.They may appear to look nice, but it’s only superficial and they DO NOT take care of their tenets.
I have lived in the community for over 3 years now and all I can say is it has been a quiet cozy place for me and my husband! We have had zero issues with living here! I highly recommend this complex! Leasing office is always on there toes and any minor issues are always resolved promptly! Keep up the awesome work!
Since September 29, 2021 I don’t have Ac in my house, I sent a request, they sent me email that it was completed but nothing wasn’t done even I decided to relocate to my wife sister because I was to hot for my little baby. I explain all that to the office, until now nothing it is done. Now I am supposed to relocate again like I don’t have house. The organization in the office is good but the maintenance is too slow. 7 days without AC it is not fair. I don’t really write bad reviews but the Green disappointed because until now we the AC is not working.
Nice layout, and I was excited to live here. Office staff is professional and courteous. They budget electric across the community, with only 1 provider. $200-300 electric bills (for 1 person) are the standard; very poorly insulated. Quiet and peaceful, or SWAT raids at 6 am while Im walking my dog; and a shooting. Rent is way too high for that sort of trash. I think theyre actively working to clean it up; but I had better luck at the apartment before this, paying $400 less a month.
Excellent place to live. A lot of work has been done to improve the community The Green Apartments since Ive moved in. The front office staff is amazing and always willing to help and answer any questions you may have. The maintenance team is reliable, knowledgeable and quick to get to anything you may need fixed. 10/10 would recommended
I truly love living here. Staff are friendly and welcoming - they know us on a first name basis. The community is clean (garbage pickup, recycling pickup, and a grounds keeper I see everyday picking up trash).... we can have our dog and enjoy long walks around a beautiful community. A big goal of mine was to feel safe where we live and I definitely do. Our neighbors and quiet and friendly, and I have never felt uneasy while living here. Maintenance is quick and the apartment we live in is BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend LC The Greene.
Inconsistent...Not gonna waste my time with a detailed review because it seems they dont want to do anything themselves. Took 2 weeks to get approved, information was incorrect and always changing, from specials changing every time I spoke to a new person, to my move-in date being changed a week before the date I was told I can move. First impressions were awful as well.Need an example tour the property... you wont feel welcomed by the staff, they will be busy on their phones. Maintenance seems like they dont want to be botheredBeautiful property... Horrible management. LC should of kept this one.I decided to not sign my lease went with a brand new place in Pickerington for the same price.
The quality of the apartments is the only good thing about the Green, but you can definitely find the same elsewhere. The office has horrible customer service. They will never show up to fix anything and you will have strange people knocking on your doors at all hours trying to find the right person selling them drugs.
I usually don’t write reviews , neither do I have the time to do so . Our dishwasher has not been working for month , they come and fix it and two days later it backs up again and gives the apartment a really bad odor . The air conditioner also goes out often and they come and restart it and it goes out again . I voiced my concern to a staff that does not CARE at all ! Good luck speaking with the manager she does not care at all . I was very patient with the staff but now I have decided I will send emails and write reviews online . I work with Ohio health and my email and people database is quite extensive . Just wanted to let people know ! WATCH OUT!
Upon initial contact with the property everything was pleasant and that played a big part in my decision to apply. Brianna was sweet and informational. However l, after applying I was denied and advised I could dispute the denial. I followed the process to do just that only for the third party company to tell me that my denial was invalid because they were unable to to verify the disputed information. (It didnt exist) after attempting to make contact to find out if there was another solution, my calls went unanswered. However, pre application I had no problem speaking to anyone. Brianna said that she would follow up with me, but I reached out first as I am on a time crunch. The overall treatment has left me feeling frustrated and and given me a bad taste in my mouth with the leasing company. To top it off if you are denied you dont even get the admin money back. This company is a joke and unprofessional and a bunch of crooks. I feel like they got the denial and figured i wasnt worth trying to help anymore even though i feel its inaccurate. Dont waste your time or money.
I recently moved into the community the beginning of the year and I absolutely love the community. The staff has been helpful and accommodating and have went above and beyond to be helpful, especially in regards to safety during Covid 19. Maintenance has been awesome as well and I would definitely recommend to my family and friends!!
Moved in May 2020. I love it here. Clean, quiet. Rent is a great value in this area. Cant wait for the amenities to reopen after this covid-19 outbreak. New management as of June is taking care of the property and responding to resident inquiries timely. I recommend this property.
I moved in March of 2019 and my first electric bill was $400. I went back and forth with the electric company this community uses and was told the charges and reading was accurate. I have not had electricity in my second bedroom and bathroom for over two weeks. Called and placed several work orders and sent numerous of emails and have yet to receive a response. I did not read reviews prior to moving here, however now after reading it is not surprising seeing the things others have said/shared. I am just wondering what it will take or how loud of a noise you must make in order to get proper assistance. I am looking forward to seeing my next bill since I have not had electricity in one bedroom and bathroom. How can you speak to someone in charge? Above leasing office employees.
The property is beautiful, and the management is super friendly and helpful. Maintenance is super responsive anytime I put in a service request. I rented here because they have unique floorplans that dont feel like a typical apartment. I would recommend living here to all my friends and family!
Rarely do I write reviews but people deserve to know - maintenance requests here are a joke! I have been without a working washing machine for 10 days now and the machine is sitting full of water. I submitted a maintenance request and after 3 days of hearing nothing, stopped in and was promised a repair date. That date is now 4 days past and still nothing. Dont bother calling the office (or emergency maintenance) because no one answers or returns calls! Looking for a new apartment ASAP. Based on the feedback of others, this seems to be status quo. It is obviously that being a quiet tenant who pays rent early means nothing to the Dietz group!
Imagine living in section 8 housing while paying over $1,000 for a one bedroom apartment. That is The Green. Its so poorly ran that it amazes me that the place is even staying afloat. The walls are more thin than a piece of paper, the trash is so unbelievably out of control it reminds me of a landfill. The poor maintenance team is tasked with dealing with horrific members of society and all of their destructive behaviors, be it their littering problems or their inability to operate simple in house equipment that they break and claim is a failure. Understand that drug dealers run rampant throughout the whole complex. There have been multiple shootings very close to my residence and they wouldnt allow me out of my lease. Its sad to see such a great property be ran so poorly even with a new management.TL:DR This place sucks keep looking dont @ me.
Advantages:- Easy access to major highways. I go to OSU and can be there in 30 minutes.- Nice stainless steel appliances- Nice pool- Have called maintenance once and they replied quickly- Staff is friendly.Disadvantages- NEP as the utility company. My bill has averaged $180 per month since Ive moved in for a single person in a one bedroom. Im constantly on the phone with NEP trying to figure out why the bill is so high especially when I have gone to considerable lengths to reduce costs (unplug appliances, thermostat at 66 degrees). Had maintenance check and my cooling unit wasnt generating enough charge so they asked me to switch it to emergency mode and my bill the next month was $239.- No grace period on rent. If your rent is at 12:02 am on the second of the month. LC charges you 10% of your rent as a late fee.- Fitness center is nice but two of the three treadmills have been broken for several months and have yet to be fixed.Overall I plan to move after my lease is up. The utility costs are my biggest deterrent from staying another year. Ive already found a place that is just as nice, closer to downtown for a lower price.
I’m officially done here. Looking for a new apartment ASAP. I have not had air since the 3rd 😡 (2 MONTHS) yes even through the 90+ degree days we just had. I complained about an after hour number still haven’t received it because when the voicemail comes on it simply says they are out of the office and hangs up. I stayed in a hotel 1 night of 3 days when the temperature in my apartment was over 95 degrees unbearable to stay, Alexandria the apartment director didn’t seem to care about my inconvenience and told me my air conditioning was an amenity and I would have to pay for my own hotel or file a claim on my renters insurance?! I also had company from Kuwait staying with me. How embarrassing. On top of that we have no GRASS! $1242 for rent and no grass! I will be moving ASAP! Residents are leaving left and right. I regret not moving when LC left. #thegreenapartments #canalwinchester Edit: As a nice going away gift they applied my last payment to another account and posted an eviction notice on my door! Glad I didn’t have company stop by. SMH
*UPDATE* As of February 6 2019 another drug bust. Its only the beginning of the year, I expect more to follow. (Original Post) Office management only cares about new leases, anytime you have an issue you have to harass the office - but only send an email because no one answers the phone. I called about my stove sparking and leaving burn marks, they said they would send someone out - a week later still no one. Only when I emailed the highest up about our potential fire hazard did anything get done about it. Second drug bust in two years (that I know of - probably more that I dont know about). Didnt even go through that living in Whitehall. If I wanted to wake up to the SWAT team blocking off the roads Id expect to pay much less in rent. Very disappointed with how this place is turning out to be. Way to go Dietz Property you are officially running this place to the ground. *UPDATE* Found out SWAT was here for a murder that day not a drug bust...... also roads are blocked off again for another shooting just today 11/29/18 Also have had our car broken into since the original post as well. *UPDATE* as of 01/03/19 someone is still going around and breaking into cars and stealing off porches I believe it is someone who actually lives at The Greene because when my husband confronted him he ran towards another area of the apartments and disappeared and I believe he went in his home. Also TRASH IS ALWAYS OUT OF CONTROL. There are not enough dumpsters for the amount of people being housed at the Greene and without fail there is always trash lying around outside the compactors, it has truly become a joke. And dont get me started on the electric/water bill. The utilities here are through Nationwide Energy Partners, and the rates are outrageous. We do not use a dishwasher, we keeps lights off in rooms not used, and even have let the temperature stay below 68°, tell me why my bill continues to be more than $200 a month in only a two story townhome and its always cold on the first floor? Looki g back on all our statements the cheapest bill has been $172 (Summer time) and the most expensive has been $302 (Winter time). Keep in mind Im sure it may be cheaper for apartments, but we have two children as well and live in a two bedroom townhome. I know for a fact to expect to pay much more if you live in a three story with a garage. NEP says they only have to retrieve two physical reads a year from our meter boxes and the rest are estimated based off the rest of the community, time of year, and our past bill.... in other words they are ripping us off and there is nothing that can be done!
Just moved here in march & i havent had any issues! I love how spacious the townhomes are &’the staff is always very friendly! I live in the 3 level townhomes and they are so spacious. I love having a garage as well! Lol. These are very beautiful apartment homes. I love it here & definitely recommend!
Okay so i have multiple problems . I have been here going on two years and i refuse to sign another lease! The price is ridiculous for us to be living in a unsafe and loud community!!! Every night somebody is arguing and yall tell us to call security to leave a voicemail and they do nothing! also i pay 15 dollars for trash to NOT be picked up! this a terrible place to live
We moved in when it was owned by LC, and when DPG took over the transition was a bit rocky. But once the current property manager Alexandria and assistant manager Jaquita took over, things turned around very nicely. We’ve been here over a year and just resigned. The staff is great!
This place has gone downhill since Dietz Property Group took over, it’s no longer owned by Lifestyle Communities as of November 2017. There’s always new staff working in the leasing office and was told management can never keep people. No one ever answers the phone with the exception of Jared! It’s like he’s the only one working. I’ve walked in and seen staff watching t.v. on their phones while I’ve been calling the office non stop. They turn on their automated voicemails prior to the time the office is to close. The place has trash all over it and the property isn’t kept up at all. There has been times I’ve put in maintenance requests to staff and the requests are never ordered and waiting for maintenance to come is a joke. They charge you if you put more than one bag of trash out for trash pick up even though it’s a community fee that is paid monthly. I’ve been disgusted on how I was treated by staff one day and was given an apology but the next day the property manager and assistant manager was outside my townhome checking on the new neighbors that were to come in and I overheard them with my window open talking about me. It’s sad how this company has just let this propert go.
Dont move in these apartments, you will be able to hear the people above and beside you using the toilet, snoring and having a regular conversation. If they smoke marijuana in their apartment it will take over your apartment like you were smoking. When you complain the office basically tells you to deal with it or pay 3 months worth of rent in order to move. The community is not the same under the new owners. If I could give a 0 I would.
I normally do not write negative reviews. But The Green Apartments deserve a bit of my time for this..If you are looking for housing in the Columbus Ohio area I would *highly* suggest that you search for other options. We had a 1.5 year lease with them. Within this time our washer and dryer unit had to be replaced. When the Green Apartments maintenance staff came to replace the unit they dragged the units across the floor and damaged the vinyl! Fast forward to today... the green apartments are holding me liable for the damaged floors and other stuff that I did not damage..Their staff is unfriendly and they use malicious intent to collect money that does not belong to them.If you want a peace of mind go live somewhere elseattached are pictures of the floors they damaged and the stovetop that worked perfectly fine from move in date to move out date..I cant believe we are going through this mess
I put in an application over a week ago in my husband name,I don’t get a phone call back of the status or anything, I call they never answer. they was nice but, I think it’s ridiculous that you can’t get through I basically wasted 150. Dollars on an application for nothing I went to Abbie lakes days after and applied and been approved that’s just crazy how they operate How the second place approve me and i did the greens first, poor service so I dodged a bullet from the reviews anyway
Im just a little bit confused. You give a 48 hour deadline to get your application in . I had a move in date of July 9th. I got no return phone call on my status . Even drove up there said I would get a call by end of business day July 9th. Nothing. No response to my emails. If these apartments are ready what is the hold up ???? I completed my application within the time frame. Not the first deadline I didnt. All income verification was turned in the from my first quote . This messes with peoples timelines and lives not following through on your end. I have excellent credit. Just confused of your process. Does not make any sense to me. And no credit check has been run as of 9 pm. July 10 th. Can someone just tell me what is going on ? And no return calls from my voicemails. Please enlighten me your process with approval or decline because not informing me tells me nothing. Ok, I see you responded. I called the number that was provided 2 days ago . Once again no response to my voicemail after you asked me to call ??????
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!! The entire time I lived there, they don’t take your trash even thought they MAKE you pay for it. My dryer hasn’t worked properly since I moved in and they came to “fix it” on two separate occasions. This place is a joke don’t live here they just marked the price up and it’s not even worth it. They don’t value their residents
I absolutely love living at LC The Greene in Canal Winchester. Management is very personable and takes time to get to know you individually. Based on the experience of neighbors and going to LC hosted events, there is a special moral amongst those who live in the LC communities. Those that I have been in contact with have been warm and friendly, truly breaking the common trend of todays callous keep to my self mentality. Along with myself; my brother and a colleague live in the same community.
Do not move here, we have had nothing but problems.. let me start off with they do no return any of your calls, whatever is broken in your home will stay broken, we were suppose to move into a townhome with beautiful wood floors, instead we got the keys and got carpet with pink stains in it, to top it off we are at the end of our lease and they have “lost” our signed vacate papers, and never offered us a copy, simply took the copy and said we are all set to move out the 28th, now we are going back and forth with them, by the way there staff rotates quickly so always get copies of everything because they will nickel and dime you on everything.
I started the application process their application fees are astronomical it is nonrefundable and I called just to talk to somebody one person immediately got rude with me and sent me to another person who immediately told me if I couldn’t afford to pay their fees I couldn’t afford their rent and then completely was rude with me I suggest staying away most application fees are $25-$40 there’s are $125 nonrefundable And their employees are extremely rude and unhelpful
So many thing wrong with how this place is run. If i could offer one suggestion it would be to look elesewhere, that is of course if you dont mind being ignored or forgotten about with simple request. As well as feeling like secureity is an after thought that they feel is to bothersome to spend any kind of real money on. There is more to be said about this place but I have better things to put my time into at this point.

2022-04-03I would defiantly recommend living here to any of my friends or family. Paige who works in the leasing office, has been awesome from the first day I applied to live here. Paige has been very responsive, maintainece has came within a reasonable time to fix any issues that I may have had. The community is clean and kept up very well. My whole experience has been very pleasing and I have only been living here for 3weeks. I have very high expectations when living somewhere is this has been a very nice experience.

2022-04-18I have been living here for 3/4 years now and really lucked out with having an awesome neighbor. The area I live at is incredibly quiet and have no issues as far as noise from neighbors. Brooke from the leasing office is always on top of things and gets back to you as fast as possible. I know I can go to Brooke anytime.

2022-03-04Apartments are kinda nice Bt definitely not stable, closet doors, bathroom doors, laundry etc are always messed up and don’t bother calling for a work order just try and fix it yourself because they will not get to you until weeks or months later which doesn’t make sense because if your a day late they hit you with fees and even when they decide to close on the of payments, you still get hit with fees. Can’t wait til my lease ends

2022-06-18The place looks nice on the outside saw some trash here and there on the grass (didn’t like that) but the tour was definitely strange. Brooke vibes was definitely not friendly and when I had questions or tried to call the office to verify some things, they would never answer, their call center would answer the phone. The 3 level townhomes all do not look the same or have the exact layout so be careful when picking. Do not go off the one you see on apartments.com with the bookshelf. Absolutely unprofessional, fake smile and all.Their copy and paste generic response for each post:We appreciate your insight and feedback. Knowing that you have this impression of our services is disappointing and wed like to provide a better experience moving forward. Please contact our office at your earliest convenience so that we may address your concerns and resolve your comfort in our community.

2022-03-04I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The staff will fake smile with to you when they really don’t like you, too many delays on everything so make sure your unit is perfect before moving in because they will take their sweet time to fix anything and your mailbox is inside leasing office so they give you an app to use for access and tell you that you are not allowed during the day and at night/ evenings the app don’t work so therefore you can’t get your mail until they’re in a good mood and decide to let you in

2022-03-05Beautiful appearance, however things seem to fall apart very easily and work orders takes weeks for them to repair anything. cant access the gym or mail because its inside office which is closed to public until office staff are out and thats also when the app stops working which leaves you with no way to enter the mail room or gym.

2020-05-16Living here was a cool experience. Like with anything, youll have your likes and dislikes. Well manicured safe community. Wonderful leasing team and maintenance crew. Nice upgrades. Dislikes were that it was quite noisy, pretty pricey for square footage. Trash dumpster pile ups. Open parking 100% sucked. Other than this, High five.

2021-12-27During our 2 years renting here there was a continuous issue with garbage management. Dumpster area completely inaccessible due to overflowing garbage dumped by residents to the point that it blocked the road going thru the parking lot. When we moved out, we provided 60 day notice with “assistance” from one of the workers in the office who indicated a move out date 2 days after our lease ended. We were charged additional rent for these two days despite being moved out well before and having turned over keys over a week before our move out date. The leasing office told us our pet deposit was applied to charges for some carpet damage that we were charged for after move out, however this application of the pet deposit is not recorded in any itemized bill, but we are told “it just was”. When we received this bill a month after move out and had questions about the items we called the leasing office multiple times with no answer. We left a message that was never returned and instead our bill was sent to collections because nobody on the office staff could answer the phone or return our message looking for clarification on the bill. The leasing office is unhelpful and rent gets jacked up significantly every year while they do nothing to deal with the sanitation problem of overflowing dumpsters on a daily basis and over the course of our lease no physical improvements were made to the property. Do not expect any kind of helpful service from the leasing management at this property and be prepared to be price gouged yearly.
Review №10
2020-11-16Our first renting experience has been wonderful and stress free so far, all thanks to Mary! She has helped answer all of my (many) questions, regularly checks in with us, and has kept open and honest communication. All staff we have encountered have been very friendly and welcoming. We have had two great experiences with the maintenance crew (and very timely might I add). We currently reside in a 1 bedroom 1 bath unit. The size and pricing was perfect and just what we were looking for. So far it has been very quiet around our unit. Trash valet is such a wonderful perk! We look forward to our next year+ here at The Greene and will leave an updated review at the end of our lease.
