Friendly customer service and in my opinion the absolute best pizza in greater Cleveland. The cheesy bread is the best I have had as well. They also go over the top for their customers and do not penny pinch. They put carmalized cheese on my crust of my last pizza without me asking and it is the little things like that that separate them from anywhere Ive had in the area.
I was so excited to share this pizza with my family. When i got there to pick up my order, i was told the wings were not done yet and it would be another 10 minutes, which is fine. I was still excited to share this place. Anyways, long story short, i waited an extra 40 minutes and ended up with a cold pizza and cold pasta. When i mentioned that my pizza was cold, the girl at the counterjust ignored the fact that i said it. So disappointed and will never return. And will never recomend this place to anyone.Today, they sent an email wanting to make things right. I have much more respect for them now.

I ordered the Chicago style deep dish pizza. Ill say for Ohio its was the best Ive had since I moved here from Chicago a few months ago and they are the only ones Ive seen offer deep dish. I wouldnt put the Chicago name on it though. The crust was a little thin, I could barely tell there was bacon on it and too much Parmesan cheese ( most place dont use it as its not traditional). Again it wasnt too bad and Ill give this place another shot and try the pan pizza.
The wings are usually really good, but this last time I believe they got a bad batch and were trying to get rid of them. The wings were really small so the guy volunteered to give extra...this box was filled to the top with chicken. Took a bite and they had a strange taste, we also noticed that the bones were shattered/broken inside majority of them. I’m no expert but that typically indicates the chicken were young and underdeveloped when they were killed. Just throw them out next time, or if the guy would of said “This batch isn’t what we typically have would you like to order some thing else” I would’ve bought a pizza
First time visit Extremely impressed. The pizza was excellent! Very friendly staff!!. Probably the best service I have had at a restaurant in years now. We used The Great American Pizza Company delivery service for a birthday party. The delivery was fast & the pizza was HOT like right out of the oven! I highly recommend this pizza.
The last review I read about it being jar sauce is crazy. We are new to Brunswick and tried other pizza places, all of them with really sweet sauce. This is the best hands down. A little pricey but well worth it. The staff that I encountered were very nice and helpful. We will be back!
Got the VIP free small pizza 1 topping with sausage and extra sauce. Was dry like cardboard , only thing that was decent was the sausage ! So glad I didnt pay 9.50 for it . Very disappointing. Drove 11 miles there , so 22 total. What a waste of time and gas.
The Great American Pizza has the BEST pizza that Ive ever had. It was really flavorful and filling. A bit of advice, no matter how hungry you think you may be, if you are only ordering for 2-3 people go for the medium size pizza. We only ate half of our large and were incredibly full. Delivery takes a while but it is well worth the wait!
Everyone is always talking about how good this place is and we thought we should give it a try. I love the theme and how the pizzas go along with different cities... very creative. The pizzas were loaded with toppings which is nice compared to many other places around. However, we were disappointed in the crust especially the overall taste.. Maybe we just didn’t get the right ones, but for spending nearly $40 on pizza and expecting to be wowed like everyone else just to be let down was unfortunate.
Love this pizza! The Great American Pizza Company has become a regular for us when we visiting Brunswick. I can 100% vouch for the quality of their pizza. Its delicious! If you are looking for a pizza to complete your day, order the pan pizza here! Its so good.
Been coming here for years. I absolutely love pizza. I worked here for a short time shortly after they had opened, and were still learning and building. Pizza is still just as good as day one! Always delightful and so nice when we would come in!!
The dough, best sauce you can taste with every bite and toppings are incredible, I especially like the fresh sausage topping and really thick layer of cheese on every pizza - definitely no skimping like other shops. Plus the pizza is cooked well, I mean perfectly cooked because the pepperoni is crispy on the edges the way I like it. They also have frequent coupons for great deals, its a win-win so I dont order anywhere else but here.
Very good flavor with what I ordered. But wanted pasta and they were out, that was the reason for only 4 star.
Ive ordered from GAPCO numerous times and Everytime I order I call it in and have gotten the same person answer the phone. I always have to repeat every piece of my order about 2-3 times. My order is usually fine when it gets to my door but tonight was different. It started when I called in and ordered a large half cheese , half pepperoni, ham, and bacon. Had to repeat this to the worker about 3 times because they kept repeating it back wrong. Order gets to my door with no issue but when I opened it up they had given me an extra large pepperoni ham and bacon with about 3x the normal amount of cheese. And a medium all cheese with 3x the amount of cheese on it. The cuts on the pizza looked like they were done blindly and sent out the door. Overall not a good experience this time. The salad was good though. We normally dont have an issue

My opinion is that this is the best pizza in Brunswick. You can read other peoples reviews of other places and do not see the want to make things right if there was a problem. These guys stand by their product and are willing to take that extra step as a business. Thats caring about the customer. The pizza is a ten. Great crust..good amount of cheese. They dont skimp on toppings. Their garlic wings are my favorite! A good business cares and will take care of you. You can see that here.
I live 30 min away so 1st time ordering here. Pizza places are always rushed and short on the phone, but these guys were super nice and friendly. And the pizza? uhhhhhhh omg so good. Good, chewy crust, great cheese, the good sausage... like the best ever. Philly pizza was A+ too. Great prices and specials too. XOXO
Read reviews, what got me to go there was many said they were good & they put a lot of cheese on pizza. I remember the days u bite into or pull piece of pizza out of box the cheese would be so thick & hot it would be oozing off pizza, long stringy cheese would hang off piece of pizza, sometimes the cheese on other piece of pizza would come nearly off while pulling apart. u had to grab with finger to cut cheese...yummy! Needless to say that didnt happen with my pizza from here...it was just okay...not a lot of cheese at all, dont look like pictures above! I got supreme, topping pieces were small (chopped) sausage was SMALL pieces, not like in pictures above, just ok amount toppings. Crust was DRY and too thin for me, sauce good. Not near best Ive had. Wings were pretty good, not jumbo.I had garlic/romano & sweet bbq. Nice wing special 16 for 12 dollars, no limit, will DEFINITELY order wings again..great price & decent wings, only way I would buy pizza is if I was ordering wings & someone wanted pizza and I would have to order extra cheese...not good enough to order alone. I guess not too many reviews know what good pizza is or too young to ever had a chance to really taste one! Everything is the product of skimping these days!
As a worker and a customer at great american pizza the food is fantastic!! I highly recommend the Chicago pizza and our wings. I ordered one Chicago 2 days ago and it was the best pizza Ive had. Will order again and highly recommend you choose the great american pizza over anywhere else. Also I recommend the Pasadena or the Boise specialty pizza those two are my absolute favorites
The food is very good, but is very overpriced. They had a coupon for a medium pizza and 10 wings for $16.00, which seems like a good deal, but its only cheese. Adding pepperoni to a medium pizza is $2.25, so the coupon is misleading, and didnt indicate that it was cheese only. I also got a side salad at a cost of $4.00, and it literally was 6 bites and it was gone...extremely small, and in no way should have been more than $2.50. We wont be back because there are plenty of other very good pizza companies in the area where your dollar goes much further.
Average. I give them some credit for creativity in regards to the choices in specialty pizzas. However, a sauce needs more than a strong hand to open a jar. Theres effort in this brand but only so much, and Brunswick is lit with better options.
They are generous with coupons and specials, prepare your order exactly as you ask for it + have it ready on time, and its one of the best pizzas in greater Cleveland.
Stopped in here last Sunday. Everyone was very very friendly as usual :) finally got to introduce my grandma to my favorite pizza place. The cheese bread did not have enough garilic butter for my taste but I’m picky haha and my grandma loved it. Always will stop by whenever in town. The lobby is always decorated extremely well, I love it!
There food is A1. Salads are always fresh and the pizza is the best in this area code.
Excellent pizza and great environment. The staff is all very dedicated to providing a great experience and truly appreciate their customers. Im impressed with how hard they work yet they make time to talk and make the ordering process as enjoyable as possible.
Friendly staff, clean store. Tried the Bismark (spaghetti & meatball pizza) ~ a friend had it at a get together. Who would think that would make for a great pizza. Well it does!! The wings are meaty & delicious. The spicy garlic with bleu cheese is our favorite!!

I have to say I was skeptical because of the history of other pizza places at this location but Great American Pizza is the best Pizza in Brunswick. Their dough is great and not too sweet. I have tried a few of their specialty pizzas and liked them all. You HAVE to try the Spaghetti pizza - Trust me and just try it.Go try this place!
Service and quality of food are really good. The owner goes out of his way to make sure that all of his customers are satisfied and happy. The pizza, the cheese sticks and chicken wing are must have.
Ive had their pizza, wings, subs, salads and fries and everything has been excellent. If The Great American Pizza Company sold hamburgers I think Id eat there everyday. I highly recommend eating anything thats on the menu. Youre gonna love it!
Update: Owner harasses people that leave poor reviews for their poor pizza. Might as well buy tickets to a Carl Carlton concert and not even go.Poorly cut pizza. Cheese doesnt stay on the pizza. Price is different literally every time Ive ordered here. Would highly reccomend Emilios in Strongsville for both better price and far better quality.

I can be very picky when it comes to pizza. GAPCO is by far the best pizza to my family, by a long shot. We ALWAYS get a Bismarck and a Louisville, and then some. Delicious!
You simply cant go wrong with the Detroit specialty pizza. There is only one other pizza restaurant in town that comes close to the quality of ingredients and careful preparation this place uses. I wish they had a sit down place in the restaurant.
We have ordered the deep dish pizza twice now ... WOW! They make a great pie!!! Brunswick offers a lot of great pizza places, but if you want an outstanding deep dish pizza ... you must try GAPCO!!!!
Never disappointed when we order from Great American. Subs, pizza, deep dish....all good. We have a large family and normally its hard to please everyone. We can make everyone happy without treating anyone special when we order from Great American.

Just tried it for the first time and got the thin crust ordered crispy. However it was not crispy and was soggy, maybe couldnt support the sauce and toppings. I would possibly try a deep dish but never the thin crust again. Also got sausage instead of the pepperoni ordered.
The Keto crust is absolutely delicious!! Tastes just like a New York style thin crust but better!! We definitely will be returning!!!

Wings were severely overcooked, ribeye stated on the menu for the cheese steak was just cheap steakum meat and canned mushrooms, fried chicken was terrible. We thought since their prices were so much higher than other local places that the food quality would be better, we were mistaken, we will not be back.

Im from the East Coast and this is the closest to NY style pizza Ive actually had since living out here. Thank you for finally getting it right, the other pizza places in this area dont really understand the specific nuances that go into an actual NY style pizza. Keep up the great work, and ignore all the haters.
Great food but they wouldnt deliver to me. Excuse was they were low on drivers. After she put me on hold to ask if she had to charge me extra. Im in their delivery zone too. They delivered here before mutiple times no problem. I always tip really good cause Ive worked in a pizza shop. Never at 9pm was I to busy to send someone. Even a manager could take it. Im just #hangery I guess.
Really, really great food. Been going here for a while and cant believe I never reviewed this place. Today I picked up a Tulsa for the first time and it was amazing. Cant say enough good things about the food and staff. Give it a try. Youll be glad you did.
Some of the best pizza Ive ever had, one of the few remaining pizza parlors that still uses 100% mozzarella, the Chicago deep dish is the best deep dish you will have outside of Chicago!

Called for delivery to Medina hospital yet today theu decided not to offer service to us. If we were out of your delivery range why wasnt that told to us last week when you delivered to us. Consistency in service as well as products goes a long way.

Been ordering from them for years. But recently very slow service. Waited 1 hr for our delivery never showed called and was told it was for pickup but when I ordered gave rhen my address. Then person on phone when I called to see where my food was told me I would have to wait 1hr and 15 minutes for them to bring my food to me. Asked if they were going to make a new order was told no will not be calling them again. Services is going down the drain past few months.

Ordered for last time we are big customers always order pasta tonight all three orders not even half full called manager and She told us they are proportioned but definitely a big difference from last time so they lost a customer.

The food is good but they told me there would be a 35 to 40 minute wait. I arrived after 40 Minutes and had to wait another 45 minutes when I got there and all they said was sorry when they handed me the pizza with no other compensation for the poor service.

Last two times I ordered it was soupy and oily on bottom of pizza and I have watched them put it straight into the box and not let the pizza rest that would be the reason for that most likely.

Well first off the online order said half hour, my girlfriend went to pick it up and had to wait a extra half hour, the employee in the back said it should of been changed to an hour. And then, you have the nerve to call the JoJos Jojos, which are clearly just plain potato wedges. Super disappointed and ruined my night, so thank you, I really appreciate it.
I live 5 minutes away and it still takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to get a pizza. Delivered cold and only after I called and asked them where the pizza was.

2020-09-30Ive been craving deep dish and have been let down with some of the ones Ive ordered in the past. Decided to give Great american a try and WOW! I went with a large since we can usually polish off some pizza but we didnt even get through half of it! It was cooked throughout, had the right balance of sauce, cheese and toppings, it was excellent. I wont knock and stars off for the wings (flavor was good, size was too small) but I probably wont order the wings next time.

2022-02-23Ordered a small pizza that was supposed to have caramelized crust, not only was there little actual crust, the pizza itself was under cooked. We also ordered a sub the bread was so soggy it was mush under my fingers and the fries that came with it were cold and limp. This is the second time we have given gapc a try and to say Im disappointed is a understatement .

2021-10-21Stopped in today to order some pizza and was greeted immediately by staff. First time here so I asked for some recommendations and was told the boise pizza was delicious. Boy was he right! The pizza was amazing and cooked to perfection! Definitely will be getting pizza from here again! Highly highly recommend this place!!!

2022-02-16Upon arriving I was worried i wouldnt be able to get my car out of spot. The parking lot and path inside was dangerously loaded with ice. Then when I got inside, no floor mats just the wet floor.. guess they are looking for a lawsuit cuz it was definitely needing attended to and it wasnt.

2021-11-11HORRIBLE customer service!!!!! Weve been ordering from GAP for several years now and have forgiven order errors in the past, but today absolutely ended it!! We did not receive part of our meal. When we called, I was told I needed to pick it up, then I was told theyd deliver it when they could (which was in no way acceptable seeing that dinner SHOULD be eaten together not in pieces and parts, then, when I asked to speak to the manager, who, after pulling teeth, gave up the name of Gerald, I was yelled at and argued with in regards to their error. I was told it was the fault of the delivery service, not them. When I asked who packaged the meal, I was shocked to learn it was a GAP employee not the Uber driver. He was extremely rude and told me he did not have to listen to me and that I needed to listen to him. Needless to say, he was not pleased when I stated his customer service skills were lacking skill. We have, in the past, received pizza with wrong toppings. Ordered fish dinners and got chicken instead. Received pizza that was charred black on the bottom. The main thing that made a difference was the customer service on the other end. Its apparent that GAP no longer values their customers. Actions speak louder than words. We will no longer spend our money at a business that does not value its customers. Im fairly certain the management will dispute my review, which will only prove my point. I hope they use this review to train their employees on how to provide customers service. Especially Gerold. IF thats his name.
