Horrible experience. Taxes were paid through escrow during transaction. Firelands told me the tax authority would reimburse me. Being in banking, I knew this was incorrect. I called county - they said the funds would be applied to the next payment, there are no reimbursements. Called title company back, luckily they discovered payment was not sent out yet and returned my funds. Also sent title company all utility information, utilities were to be transferred upon closing. I ended up paying almost 10 days of the buyers utilities - when this was a vacant house and minimal utilities were used.Closing was to have occurred on June 28th - signing took place that day and the notary (hired by the title company) told me I would have funds that day. Come to find out they didnt actually file until July 1st. Highly unsatisfied and would never recommend them.

Awful/ unprofessional/lack of communicationWe sold a house in the Akron area and live is SW Fl. There was an issue every step of the way. No one in the office communicates with each other no one pays attention to detail. The only thing I can tell they are good at is making excuses for what happened. We explained to them at the beginning that we had never done this before but no one was willing to explain anything just that they were sorry they are busy since it was the end of the year. Customer service is something this organization seems to know nothing about. I would never recommend anyone use them.

2022-08-02Why do agents and brokers request a settlement statement? To review the accounting on and with the entire transaction. If a title company, in this case, Fireland Title Company does NOT follow the escrow instructions, closes the deal for the wrong purchase price and files at the county without allowing the agents or brokerages to review the settlement statement~shame on them. They were missing an addendum and although revised escrow letters were provided by both companies they did not revise the settlement statement. If the settlement statement had been sent to all parties this would have been a VERY EASY catch and instead has turned into they (Fireland Title Company) is only 1/3 responsible. Be a company of integrity and accountability and do the right thing. If you in fact provided the settlement statement to the other side, you are only 1/2 responsible and if you did not provide it to either side you are 100% responsible!Update: Im very thankful that we were able to come to an agreement and the title company made our client whole. This was a tough transaction for all involved but in the end we achieved our common goal in service to our client. Thank you Brandon and Ben for making this work out for all involved.

2022-03-26This was my first experience with Fireland Title Group. I am an out of state investor and could not have been more pleased with the whole process. Fireland does two things very well. They coordinate the transaction efficiently and they provide remarkable CUSTOMER SERVICE! Looking forward to my next closing with Fireland.

2017-05-09I have had no better experience with a title group than Fireland Title. I have had the pleasure of closing investment deals as well as my personal home with them and there has been nothing but quality experiences. The team is friendly and VERY responsive to any questions that you may have. I dont have have title work done anywhere else. Quick Story about how personal they are and the experience they create. I recently had my first child. We had a closing just a few weeks ago and the agent put out my closing docs and he had closing Docs out for my son as well. the closing documents were a coloring book and crayons... Tell me where else you can get service and attention like that? If you are looking for a title group... look no further.
