I have lived here for almost two and a half years. Really enjoy my neighbors and have good experiences with office staff like Kevin,Marcus and Whitney. Couple issues when I first moved here but the maintenance staff has been consistent and very responsive to my work orders. Overall quiet and friendly development.
The office staff is helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff is efficient. The apartment rent, size and noise level between apartments is about average for the area. The neighborhood is fairly quiet most of the time and the the residents I have met are friendly. I am on my second year of being with the community and am satisfied with what the community has to offer.
I have been a resident here for almost two years and the staff has been excellent to work with. They are courteous, professional and very attentive. The community is clean, safe, and conveniently located near shopping, services, and major highways. Our unit is very modern with many amenities. Excellent value.
I stopped in today to pick up some information on your offerings and was taken care of by a nice young lady by the name of KC. While I dont think you have what I need available right now, I will certainly be checking back after the warm welcome I received at the office
Been here since Aug 2021, worst apartment I have ever lived in!!!!! You pay $1300 for a 2 bedroom for the air not to work. I have called several times. Every time they come the air works for 2 days and it goes back out!!!! Just horrible. I haven’t lived here for even 60 days yet and I have put in so many work orders for nearly every room in my apartment it makes no sense whatsoever. I cannot wait til my lease is up and I can RUN RUN RUN from away from this place. Do not rent here! Just horrible. Dishwasher is half way put in.
I lived here for almost 4 years and they are very attentive overall. Maintenence requests get handled asap and mostly everything is up to date. Staff cares for their renters and make sure they do nice events ever so often for the tenants. Trash pick up is extremely convenient.
Honestly, the apartments are OK but they’re WAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced. The area is good and the school district but these apartment are overcharging. The “updated” apartments are cheap. My drawers that don’t pull out in the kitchen and bathroom always fall off. The dishwasher wasn’t installed all the way, the doors weren’t closing all the way and there’s a good chance when you move in your heat or air won’t work. The “wood floors” are nothing but peel and stick wood so you have to be careful or else it comes up. Valet trash is a plus but be aware they want you to bring the nasty outside garage inside your house. Imo that’s like bringing the green trash the city give you in your house which is gross. Be aware that when you sign your lease having a chair outside your house is not allowed. They charge you $20 a month to use the pool and gym also while other apartments base it in their rent. Overall i’ll stay the apartments are 7/10 because it’s a nice place to live, the pool and gym is actually nice, neighbors are quiet(unless your on the first floor ofc). Cons is the overpriced apartments and the cheap stuff they use in here.
I would definitely give Brentwood estates a 5 BC Ive lived here a while and I havent had many problems. Generally quiet. Mostly friends with neighbors up kept rather nice. Apartments building 16 on the outer shell could use some tlc with trash and cars that havent moved. I have loved living here and receiving special things our office do to make us feel like valued residents :) and the maintenance dudes are exceptionally cool!!
I have lived at Estates for almost a year, and I Love my place so much I have always wanted to live here and the fact that I am here and enjoying the best place and people you can ever meet is an understatement Liz and Kevin thank you so much for making this a great place to live
I have lived at The Estates at Brentwood Lake for a year. I moved in right before the Pandemic shut down. Through it all, The Estates have been amazing. The property manager Liz is amazing, as all the staff is. I have never had property managers call and check-in with me (yes we never had a pandemic before either). When putting in work orders the issue is corrected within the next business day, and then followed up with a phone call making sure everything was handled/working properly. For Christmas 2020, they left a nice popcorn treat with a cute note on every residents door. The Valet trash program is a plus❤️.
I moved in about 2 months ago and I cant complain! While this is my first apartment, everyone was very helpful in the process. If there was anything I needed fixed or taken care of it got done within the next business day. I would recommend to anyone, the updated spaces are beautiful and perfect for my boyfriend and I.
I’ve been without air (or heat) for 20 days. I’ve been told 4 times now that it would be taken care of first thing the next day, or by the end of the following day. We’ve already had days over 80°, it’s Ohio, so on a second floor it’s even worse than that temperature. I’ve called and I’ve gone in the office multiple times. Get told the same thing, “it’ll be take care of”, but it never is. There’s always problems like this. Just DON’T do it. Also, I think my favorite thing the complex did was one summer they gave everyone a letter stating kids couldn’t be on the roads, the entryways into the buildings or the grass. Essentially they were not allowed outside otherwise you would be in trouble for tearing up the landscaping and would be charged for it. But dogs could use the grass, so the dogs had more privileges than kids. It was an “are you kidding me” moment that was kind of comical. Nobody listened to that since it was ridiculous.
I have lived here going on 4 years and I have loved it. The office staff has always been courteous and handled all my concerns in a timely professional manner. Maintenance has always been great at fixing any issues. The space is great for a small family. Definitely recommend living here.
Do not even apply here. It costs $290 up front and they charge you a hidden fee once you are approved. I thought this was it....once my apartment was approved I had $300 taken directly out of my bank account. Total of $590 BEFORE you ever sign a lease. By the way...its nonrefundable. They are not transparent in this process and this serves as your warning. Will be looking into my legal options to get my money back. Will NEVER move in to such a dishonest group of scam artists.
Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Moore Ive been a resident going on one year now and I dont have enough good things left to say about this place! The main office staff doesnt have high turn-over rate so they get to know you and take your issues seriously. Kevin even helps me move in furniture and lift heavy things and never says hes unable to assist when I have a mechanical or electrical issue. Maintenance is quick to help out and Ive never had to wait more than 24 hours. The only issue is that the pool isnt closely monitored so it was closed a lot over the summer due to damages.
The leasing office workers all say different things as expensive as their application fees are you would at least think they know what they are talking about. I was told 5 different things by multiple people during the application process jumped through all these hoops everything was fine and dandy when they want more application fees but then they change everything up they said after they get your money. I’d assume living here would be the same story.
I have been a resident here for over 2 years and I really enjoy staying here! The area is nice with great school district. They have pool which my daughter loves!I never have a problem with maintenance coming very quickly whenever I need assistance. The staff is awesome, quite friendly.
The initial response to my apartment search inquiry was pleasant and sounded promising. Viewing a unit was painless and staff member Marcus was very informative and friendly. However ever since I paid my app/holding fees ($420 total) and got approved for a unit I was misquoted on the amount due upon move in and have made several emails and calls to get an explanation or printout of what were the determining factors of that amount and have not gotten a call or response back other than we will get back to you and its been almost 2 weeks. I find it very concerning they are quick to take money but slow to respond to pertinent questions about upcoming lease.
Been living here for over a year. Haven’t had a issue. Maintenance is quick always quick when needed. It’s quite for the most part. Of course kids will run around and play but other than that no issues.Since my last review over a year ago, everything has been great still. But I recently had another baby. I wish they had 3 bedrooms or basements. I really don’t want to move once my lease is up in fear I might not like the next apartment as much as I do now.
Nice place for the price. Apartment is very spacious, maintenance has been great. My only comment is that the exterior areas need to be better kept - there is trash on the ground, cigarette butts and burned outside lights right outside my door. Havent had a problem other than that, neighbors keep to themselves.
We have been living here for about six months and things seem pretty good so far. The office people are helpful and always ready to listen to any issues. The valet trash service is horrible, and the only other option is to drive my trash to the front of the complex where the trash compactor is. Otherwise it’s a good place to live.
I’ve been here going on 3 years and it has always been a issue! From rodents, to air conditioning not working and more! Let’s not forget to mention the NOISEY NEIGHBORS! Trying to get them to fix any issues is like pulling teeth! Oh and to mention (I pay my rent on time and I’m not just one of those people who just post negative reviews)!! Please do not trust the reviews! They have giveaways every so often where if you post a “nice” review you could possibly win something!! You are paying for the area that’s it! These apartments aren’t worth it! And if you do consider moving here, please don’t choose to live on the bottom because you WILL hate it and they WONT do anything about it!
Moving during a pandemic can be challenging, but Brentwood Lake make it easy. I had a socially distanced viewing of the model unit and all paperwork was completed online. Kevin was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I moved into a newly remolded unit and any of my family who has seen have had nothing but positive things to say about it.
I love living here. My son and I moved in about 3 years ago and have had no issues. The only thing that gets to me is when some dog owners refuse to pick up after their dogs. I dont have any critters or rodents in my apartment. Parking for my guests isnt an issue and my sons school is conveniently across the street.
This place is like a breath of fresh air from my last apartment experience. Im into my second lease with them and theyve made a couple changes but its only made them better like the valet living where they handle your trash for you, Im very pleased with the changes and the maintenance is always on top of things. Management is awesome and everyone is always so professional, you give them a shot you wont be dissapointed.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! The A/C WILL NOT WORK. If you don’t believe me, do yourself a favor and drive or walk the apartments and look at all of the FANS/WINDOW UNIT A/Cs in the summer time. If I had the two thousand dollars to break the lease I would. It is not worth paying 900-1000 dollars for a unit with no air..... Advice from a stranger, spend another 200-300 and live comfortably in a house with your own back yard. Front porch and most importantly AIR!!! I have gotten the run around with almost every reason, I won’t bore you with but you will know them all if you do not take my advice!! Not to mention the horrible egg water smell you will have but I try to bleach the drains often myself personally.
I can’t say enough about this place. We just re-leased for our 3rd year. The staff (especially Kevin) continue to always be friendly and attentive. My requests or concerns are always addressed with urgency. Anytime I have to visit the office I’m heated with a smile and small treat. I’ve never lived anywhere like this. I can say they take excellent care of their residents. You cant beat this place.
I have been at Brentwood 4 years now. I have had a pleasant experience in that time. If I have any questions the office staff will answer and if they dont know the answer they will get it within a reasonable time frame. It has always been quiet in my area even with the children playing outside. Whenever I have needed maintenance they have gotten to me in a good allotted timeframe. I would highly recommend The Estates at Brentwood Lakes for your future home. I recently renewed my lease for another year. My only issue is the walkway to the parking lot. There is a dip and the water always pools making it difficult to get to the parking lot. You cant walk in the grass because its all mud.
Current resident of 9 months, and I cant get over how great the staff is and the property is. Never have I walked out of the office without laughing or with a smile on my face. They added trash pickup at your door 5 days a week and its made life so much easier. Trash around the complex is picked up daily, even on weekends you see a maintenance guy out picking up trash making the place look good. Its one of the cheaper complexes in the area but the experience you get doesnt show it. Youd think you were paying double what you do.
TERRIBLE PLACE TO MOVE IN MY 51 year old mother only had her apartment for 4 days and there is roaches all over the counters , broken drawers on the 2 day , hard wood flooring is tore from the ground , the door is chipped wood , the first day of move in the counter top we’re not done I will never recommend this PLACE TO ANYONE IM FURIOUS ALMOST $2 , 000 just for the apartment not to be ready . I recommended this apartment for my mother since I once stayed in these apartments beforehand but suddenly they . We have videos and photos since day 1 of move in. We will be looking into LEGAL ACTION!!!!
Where do I start? We were promised an upgrade in which we paid for. The day we moved in, the apartment we actually got was nothing compared to the nicely renovated model. About a month after we moved in, our dryer stopped working. Took a week for maintenance to fix it. Then again stopped working about 2 months after that, fixed again. It was just repaired today after I submitted an order 10 days ago. Screws have come out of cabinets, toilets, walls. Our window where our children sleep is warped and wont close properly, in which we have stuffed a towel in the crack so as to keep the elements outside. No word to when that will be fixed though weve made several inquiries. My boyfriends wallet was stolen after leaving the door unlocked to walk my daughter to the bus stop and back. Packages have been stolen from in front of our door. Management seems caring but nothing really gets done in a timely manner. I had high hopes to moving here and have been very disappointed in the outcome. Not to mention our neighbors smoke weed every day and if our master bath door is closed, the smoke comes pouring through when you open it. My daughter constantly asks me what that smell is. We had several options before moving here and without a doubt I would have chosen somewhere else had I known it would have been like this only 5 months after moving in. Not worth the money, stress, or worry. Only thing I love about this place is the location.
I just signed another years lease here. My kids and I are happy here. We havent had any problems. Whenever I have a maintenance problem, they are quick to come in and fix the issue. One complaint that I do have is the one dumpster that everyone shares that sits at the entrance gets very gross because of nasty, disrespectful people. Sometimes people drop their trash bags on their way to the front and dont bother to pick it up! But the maintenance or whoever is in charge of keeping the grounds clean do a very good job with the up keep, so it never stays dirty for long! I am proud to say I live there, its a nice place to live. They keep it very nice!
Let me first say i was very excited to move into these apartments. I needed to downsize for a year or so to be able to save for a downpayment on a house. The office staff were great, the grounds were nice and clean, and the apartment I saw looked nice. Ive been here a little over a month and so far its been a horrible experience. My air went out two weeks into me moving in. It took over a week to be fixed with temps over 90 that week. my dishwasher hasnt been working properly since ive been there. We are now on the 10th day of having digusting water sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher and of course its starting to smell horrible. When I called the office all i was told was we dont know why anyone hasnt been out but call back Monday and maybe well have an answer. This is the exact same response i got with my a/c. I also have a horrible rotten egg smell coming from my laundry room. The dryer that came with the apartment takes two full cycles to dry our clothes even though im making sure we do small loads. Random screws are falling out of things such as a cabinet, the dishwasher and the door lock? I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone but i guess you get what you pay for.
Over priced! Not worth the $800+ Not the best experience!! Needed to replace my dryer on several occasions within a few months. Price for sewage is non-sense. They have a 3rd party coming to carry your trash to compactor the for residents for a monthly fee that most people do themselves. If you choose to break your lease with a 30 day notice u still need to a pay rent for the following month whether youre living there or not. Geese are huge issue!! Many residents were attacked and nothing was handled. Rent is due between 1st-4th even though they tell you the 5th is acceptable as long as you pay an extra $80 fee.
I recently just moved from brentwood for money issues but i loved them. But i really would say i appreciated some of the people in the office, they work with you if you need help, I enjoyed staying at my apartment it was a nice layout with a huge tub which was a plus for me. But i never really had many issues with brentwood and I would recommend them to anyone. Their maintenance and management has really gotten better from where it first started by the time i left. And their pricing was really convenient for us.
I have lived here for 3 years now. I recently noticed some updates that have been made to the apartments and in order to get those updates they are asking you to move. I dont understand how hard is to replace a dishwasher and stove that is so out dated. I have told them my dishwasher is so old no matter how I clean it doesnt come clean. They came and took pictures of the apartment on Oct 19, but I was recently informed that I have not lived there long enough.
I dont understand all thr negative comments, I get everyone has a different experience and their own opinions but for me personally Ive had a good experience here at Brentwood Lake. However I did have a problem with my A/C going out and I have serve Asthma and had to go back and forth about getting my A/C fixed. Besides that I have enjoyed living here its quite, my daughter has kids her age to play with, Liz is always nice and professional shes one of my favorite person in the office she definitely takes pride in her job and she always go above and behind to make sure any issues are fixed. When my A/C went out Liz stated she will call me before she leaves the office to make sure maintenance brought the window unit and she did she kept her word and even when maintenance fixed my A/C Liz called me just to follow up to see how things were working. Needless to say things have been good here 😉Happy Holidays
Great place to live. Everyone is respectful and caring for the residents!Recently, our dryer needed a new part and when he came to fix it while we were both at work, he gave our dog a bone left on the counter and made sure our dog knew he wasnt a threat. Wonderful people and we are very appreciative.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have lived at this residence for over 2 years and was never late on a rent payment but their maintenance is SEVERELY lacking. I have currently been in my apartment without working AC for almost 3 weeks. the property manager has done little to nothing to help the situation besides make excuses as to why the a/c compressor part has not been installed yet.. And after almost a week is JUST NOW offering to supply us with a window unit (mind you I was recently in a car accident and have a concussion and a 4 yr old son who lives with me as well.) the emergency maintenance is extremely overworked and basically is by himself and told me straight up it would take 10 days for my part to fix the AC to arrive best case scenario but after I threatened to contact my lawyer they are offering to order me a wall unit meaning I am not the only resident who has this issue with central air (as the other wall units they keep on hand are already out in other units). They knew they had no wall units left IN THE MIDDLE OF A HEAT WAVE and thought that that was ok? I have spent almost half of a months rent to stay in a hotel for a few nights and still nothing has been done and they cant even guarantee that my rent will be prorated to (barely) offset the costs that I have had to shell out to keep myself and my son is a livable environment. and even more recently they are trying to raise my month to month rent up another 150 dollars a month to market price with out even giving me a 30 day notice. Elizabeth wont return my emails now and honestly Im fed up at this point. I have more complaints but my fingers are honestly too tired. to make a long story short DO NOT MOVE HERE. I plan to leave ASAP. And please tenants know your right because this apartment complex will take advantage of you assuming you are uneducated. UPDATE : I recently spoke with Jay who was very apologetic and understanding of my concerns, she even informed me of some options I was not aware of moving forward with my lease. I have changed my rating from 1 to 3. thank you for the expedited response and assistance! ANOTHER UPDATE : HERE I AM ONCE AGAIN HERE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WATER DAMAGE IN MY HOME THIS TIME. SIMPLY PUT, ELIZABETH IS INCOMPETENT AND OVERALL INEFFECTIVE AS A PROPERTY DIRECTOR . EMERGENCY MAITENANCE IGNORED MY PHONE CALLS WHEN MY CEILING WAS LEAKING IN TWO DIFFERENT ROOMS (THE KITCHEN AND LAUNDRY ROOM) THE LAUNDRY ROOM IS LEAKING SO BAD THAT ITS SAGGING AND SEVERELY DAMAGED AND RUINED MY CLOTHES PERMENANTLY. ELIZABETH THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME TO JUST NOT USE THE ROOMS WHILE THEY ARE BEING REPAIRED SO I GUESS I CAN JUST TELL MY SON I CANT COOK HIM DINNER OR WASH HIS CLOTHES. THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE AND IM SO GRATEFUL TO BE MOVING. also Im pretty sure I have seen people smoking meth in their cars in the parking lot but I saw no need to report it to the office as their leader does not seem to care about the tenants, especially the ones who pay on time consistently.
HelloIve been living here for the past 4 years I have never experienced any problem whatsoever with the staff or anything. Thanks to the awesome maintenance guys for always doing my requests services in a timely manner. To the office staff thanks for always being pleasant and friendly. Definitely recommend
I lived in their two bedroom apartment for nine years, every year outside of the renewal date, the company would increase a larger amount than the year before and change the companys name. It changed three times during my stay there, they would change the Managers too. This apartment complex organization is in Francisco CA.. Theres no corporate office locations in Columbus. I was harassed by Amanda by email, telephone and fake letters from a unknown Attorney to not contact them or I would be Served with an eviction all because I asked for assigned parking due a disability, there were no actions taken, I moved because the constant increases in the monthly rent and water, the water bill came from a unknown source and Harassment. I am a retiree on a fixed income who always paid my rent and water payments on TIME! Dont moved there, the rent is over $850 per month and you will never received any New Amenities..Alot criminal activity is there and there is only one way In the complex, I have filled a complain with the Ohio Attorney General Office for the State of Ohio and with the tenant association in Ohio.. theyre threatening me with a law suit for $1700 dollars because I didnt give the office a 60 days notice to vacate 😂😂😂😂😂
When I moved in in June of 2017 I thought the place wasnt bad. Since then Ive changed my mind. Upon moving in I was told I wouldnt be getting a remodeled apartment as planned but the large oval tub would make up for it. The counters were awful in the kitchen. I was told they didnt have time to repair them before moving in, which I didnt get because I had come in a full month prior to set everything up, and theyd be sending someone in to completely redo them which meant I couldnt set anything on them for a week otherwise Id have to repack it up. The day came and went, nobody came to fix them. When I asked why I was told they didnt know and it was rescheduled for the following week. So 2 weeks of not being able to set up the kitchen. The night I moved in, I tried to use the washer, it made a loud banging noise that to this day hasnt been fixed even though maintenance has been out twice to fix it. The towel bar in the half bath was barely held on so I had that repaired. The bulb in the toilet broke and since it was at night I had to listen to it run all night long. There is no insulation, hot in the summer and freezing in the winter, so much that I had to plug in a heater and sleep in the living room with plastic to the windows. Recently theres been smells of weed around the complex, theres a ton of geese - not a few - like at least 30+, the walls are super thin - I can hear my neighbor downstairs and to the side of me which is great when you have an infant...the icing on the cake? My dog broke the blinds so I took them down to hang new but since I work 45 to 50 hours a week and have an infant I havent gotten to it...these lovely people not only took a photo of my window and front door...but also sent me a notice to put blinds back up. How nice of them! Instead of calling me so we could discuss the situation, they snuck around taking photos of my home and sent me a letter. Strangely enough the bottom window in the building to my right has no blinds and what appears to be a one piece tan shade or curtain. Wonder if they got a photo and a letter too? Everyone keeps talking about how great valet trash service is, yeah its nice, when the driver isnt blasting rap music at 9 PM. So now my rent is being raised from 875 to 940? I do have a dog but everything went up; utilities, pet rent, and rent. Im sorry but for 940 I can live in a nicer area.
When we first moved in, we agreed to rent the upgraded hard wood floor and nicer cabinets and pay an additional $40. Later on, after paying rent for 3 months for the upgrade, the wood gets damaged and it ends up being padded vinyl laminate throughout the unit. Ended up wanting to charge us for the cost of replacement (which is fine, if within reason). Cost ended up being $350 for a small 3x3 of vinyl laminate that they wanted to charge.Central air unit is not large enough to cool the size of the apartment (1100 sq. ft.) without freezing and stopping for a couple of hours every day, constantly having to unthaw it with a hair dryer or turning the heat on to melt the internal ice on the compressor, which is not to fun on a 90^+ day. Ceiling paint/drywall has come apart 3 times and needed to be replaced (IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT) 3 times and they refused to fix it until after we moved out.Do not move here if you want (adequate) maintenance and honesty throughout the entire live-in session. They promise nice stuff, the area is quiet, but the maintenance is abysmal and they bait-and-switch whenever possible. The office staff is quite pleasant and helpful, though.
How hot is it in your apartment right now? Currently it is 85 degrees in mine. Why? The air conditioner has been down for 2 weeks snd the complex tip toes around fixing it. What was called an emergency issue has not been fixed for 2 weeks. They have been out twice to wiggle a few wires to diagnose a issue or two, only to promise to fix it the next day. The next day comes with absolutely no indication as to why no work was completed or reasons as to why nobody showed up. Phone calls to the manager and assistant manager are never returned. Customer service is terrible, especially paying more for a remodeled apartment. If anybody else has similar experiences, I would love to know. It is time to fight back and make sure nobody else falls for signing a lease at Brentwood Lakes Apartments.
If I could give 0 stars I would!!!Cockroach infestation in our entire building. I Can’t walk into my kitchen without killing 7-10 cockroaches of ALL sizes.A/C unit has broken probably 8 times since we’ve lived here in January and they just keep coming in and rigging it back up to be fixed, it has electrical tape all over it holding it together. Even I can tell it needs replaced. Way to overpriced for what you’re getting. Please don’t move here. I thought it looked nice at first, but after living here we see the truth. Unhealthy, uninhabitable, unfit conditions.
TOTAL RIPPED OFF...RUN AWAY from this place. the NEW MANAGEMENT Will empty your pocket to your last penny. All those new renovation you see is only in the front gate, NO CHANGE what so ever was made to better tenants lifestyle. I lived here for almost 3 years. Now that I moved out, I have been billed for irrational things. What irritates me the most, Management claimed that the living room carpet is too dirty to be cleaned so they charge me $180. And since this type of carpet is not being manafactured anymore (as if that was my fault), they charge me an EXTRA $310 (so total of $490) to replace the whole appt carpet because they claim it all have to match.CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? When I try to dispute this is the message I received from them:“My name is Christina and I am the Community Director with The Estates at Brentwood Lake. I have been in conversation with my Assistant Liz who stated that you continued to dispute the remaining account balance... I understand your dispute is the bedroom carpet not needing to be replaced, however, it required replacement as we were unable to match the damaged living room and I cannot move a new resident in on mismatch carpet - the carpet would not have required replacement had it not been damaged therefore we stand by our charges. I will agree to allow a discount of 150.00 if the amount is paid in the next 10 days if it is not paid the account will be placed with our third party collection agency. We are firm in our decision. If you would like to schedule a payment plan with Liz you can do so, but must be done no later than 11/10/2018.”Like, is it my FAULT if you can match the carpet? Plus thats is a big LIE, there was no damage on the carpet. I wish I could post the pictures here. I don’t usually complain about bill but this irritates me. You can’t just exponentially bill tenants, then reduce the bill and make it looks like you’re cooperating. Our total moved out charged was about $800 even though we cleaned and let the appt in good condition. I am taking this to the BB.Total SCAM.Plus management is RUDE as hell. They have this tendency to talk down to you if you have an accent. AVOID them at all COST.
Do not move in here. I have lived here for about a year and from day one have had issues. The day we moved in we started seeing roaches. We contacted the management each time but they are no help. They will come out and spray but the roaches are back the very next day. They say that are doing all they can but this is ridiculous. The people in the office are rude and will never call you back and basically talk down to you. Stay far away from this place.
If there is a zero I would give it that is what it deserve. . Every time you call the office it is very difficult because they envoke you to an argument . For example, I called the emergency mentenace guy . He was arguing with me about building # and he would not tell me how long the problem will be fixed. By the way it has been it has been 5 days no one called or said anything thing when the issue of my AC will be resolved. I called the office it is always we are doing our best. It gets very annoying when you call them and dont want to hear you . They dont want to hear to what you have to say because it doesnt work for them . It is always one excuse after another. I tried to call mengment and the individual from the company left me a message with a without listening to my side of story. I knew then that nothing I said will make a difference. I didnt even bother to call her back.So , I love my neighborhood but this apartment complex is not the best dealin with there customer. It gets furstating when I pay my rent on time and fellow there rules and when I need something to be fixed it end up being an aggravation.
Been living here for almost a year can say it’s a nice place to live, it’s quiet love the dog park ! And how they are very pet friendly. Only thing sometimes it’s hard to get a hold of the office via phone or email ( via email they barley Reply to be aware you might just have to stop by the office ) looking forward to see the new office and remodel
Management is rude and continuously seeking ways to extort money from you throughout your stay here and even after you move out. Neighborhood is unsafe . The whole complex was on news at least three times due to violent crimes, during my residency here .Had my car broken in and trashed while I lived here for a cheap after market stereo. One time I found a stray bullet in my apartment which entered through the outside wall and traveled through the bathtub and the walls , all the way into the laundry room.Luckily , no one was at home.Even though I reported the incident to the police and the office , the management still charged me for the damage caused by the bullet on my final bill. Do not put your safety and your credit at risk by moving in here.
Every time I speak with Blake he/she is rude. Even just saying the intro. Blake is rude, Hannah should come back.I promise if there was negative 100 stars I would give them negative 100 stars. They have always been rude. The only person that has ever had a decent bone in their body was Hannah, who I believe is no longer there. Dont waste your time. DO NOT LIVE AGAINST 70! Your windows and walls will grow mold and they will tell you its ok because mold is natural. You will be told not to put anything close to the wall. (there are only 3 walls to work with and are fairly small.) If you get a leak from your upstairs neighbor that runs constantly, the emergency maintenance will tell you to wait until the next working day. I have small children that use the bathroom at night. I told them and his answer was just watch them....IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT watch my children use the bathroom because you are lazy and cant fix the running waterfall in my bathroom.I continue to live here because it isnt easy finding a place.AGAIN! They do not know customer service. AT ALL! You do not hang up on people, catch attitudes when it regards their hard earned money, nor do you speak over them! News Flash LIZ, YOU ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT!! Watch how you talk to people. There is no need to be so angry with everyone.
First of all, they dont take care of their tenants, also they let anyone live there. I moved almost a year ago due to 2 incidents that made me fearful of my life. I had a package that was delivered to my old address on accident, I went in to see if they could call the current resident and find out if they received it. come to find out they dont even have a phone number for the person that lives in their complex how unprofessional if I was a manager I would expect to have phone numbers for the tenants that live in the complex I manage.
I-70 runs along the back of the property and the traffic noise is so loud it makes it hard to sleep, watch tv or even hold a conversation with the person sitting next to you. The woman who recommended this place to us works and lives on the property she insisted that it was a great area and she felt very safe living here. Were not from the area and we have a one year old daughter so we didnt want to end up in a bad neighborhood. A couple of months after moving in, my husband noticed police everywhere and crime scene tape all over one of the buildings near the office. Brentwood Lake has a Facebook page that they encourage their residents to like so I went to their fb page and asked if anyone knew why there were police everywhere that morning. Brentwood Lake ignored my post until another resident commented to inform me that someone had been shot by an intruder in their apartment. Brentwood Lake then deleted my post without ever responding themselves. I flagged down a police officer to verify and was told that a resident had been shot in the head during a botched robbery! An online search revealed that this was not the first fatal shooting on the property. There have also been several reports of car break-ins. Moving to Brentwood Lake was a horrible decision and as soon as my lease is up Im moving. If you care about your familys well-being then I strongly advise you to stay away from Brentwood Lake Apartments!
I am a current resident, and this place suck. They are good at charging pple for late fee and unnecessary charges but when it comes to their side they way behind, like now this is my eighth day going with out A/C. I received an email from staff saying my issue was taken care off but when I come at night I found out it was still the same 85 degreesUnbelievableAnyone planning to move in think about this I called today in and I am told there are several other unit before me that submitted the work order so am just think that like a lot of residents are going through this, specially people with children. Not fair
Great place . The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. i like the environment: it is safe and peaceful. Nice Place...
I would recommend no one to apply for this complex the staff leads you on for weeks thinking your approved and takes your money!! I got denied for a minor misdominer from 1995 so they had me pull that ticket to prove it was minor and if I brought it back I would be approved it was a big lie the whole time they knew I was denied days prior!! The management I feel the corporate management handled the situation very poorly!!! DONT APPLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2022-02-06We have lived at Brentwood Lakes for over 2 years now. Our apartment is roomy and comfortable with all the modern conveniences. Love that we have our own washer and dryer.

2022-02-07I have been a resident for almost 5 years. I love this place! It’s perfect, literally. Besides the amenities, which are accommodated in every single apartment, the location is perfect as well. Grocery stores, shopping centers, entertainment and so much more. Valet trash pick up is amazing too. The rental office is full of staff who are friendly and on top of all residential needs. They even have give aways monthly to show appreciation to there residents. The maintenance is terrific as well, which is a big deal in apartment living. Spacious 2 bedrooms and washer and dryer included. I could keep going with positivity. I have nothing negative to say about the Estates at Brentwood Lake. I am a proud resident and you will be too!

2022-02-04Ive lived here for almost a year, and Im renewing my lease for another year. The apartments are beautiful, my neighbors are friendly, and its been overall a wonderful place to live. We had an issue with our a/c when we moved in, and literally within the day it was fixed. The staff here have all been very helpful anytime Ive needed anything. The trash valet service has been the best. I would say these are the best, most affordable apartments in the area.

2022-02-02I have lived here since April, 2020 and Ive had a great experience so far. The staff are very friendly, there were a few bumps in the beginning but the staff made sure everything was fixed with no problems. My kids have made good friends and I love that they are in the Pickerington School District. They always have great giveaways and check in with their tenants. I love the Valet Living Services for your trash so you dont always have to go down to the dumpster.

2022-02-08I have lived here for almost 3 months. I really enjoy my neighbors and have had good experiences with office staff like Kevin and Jada. It’s quiet and everyone seems to be friendly. Only con I can think of is there isn’t not much storage space either way I still enjoy my apartment & I’m glad I decided to rent here.

2022-05-28I previously worked here last fall. While it was a good first impression, After recently learning some new information about the company, I would like to leave some insight for current and future prospective tenants. Units are slightly overpriced for what you are getting in comparison to the surrounding area. The units are typically remodeled by outside contractors and the quality of work can be quite lacking for what you are paying. You have probably read in other reviews that it costs a ton just to move in with application fees, bonds, etc. This is true. Qualified Furnace and Air Conditioning techs are rare in this field, so finding an older property with good techs can be difficult. So expect mainly air conditioning issues here, but otherwise maintenance is solid. I was told everything was micromanaged by the vice-president of the company, so I wouldn’t direct all your anger to the office staff because someone above is remotely dictating it all. So thank you mysterious VP whose decision making has led me to swore off ever working in this field again.

2022-02-11Very Professional Staff at the Office, very peaceful and friendly environment. As far as being comfortable in my home, I highly recommend it. Modern Luxury is my style anyways. As far as the maintenance Team, Thorough and Quick. Living here was a good choice.

2022-02-18I stopped in to see about rentals available and I was floored. The manager Elizabeth was yelling at the top of her lungs at another employee. Plain view and no privacy. When she finally decided to calm down she rudely asked what my issue was and I hadnt even said a word yet. Nice place but I can already tell that dealing with the manager would be a problem nobody should have to deal with.

2022-02-11Staff is very friendly and quick with maintenance requests. Had a few pest control issues but they were resolved quickly and they kept having pest control come back till the issue was resolved. The trash valet service is convenient too.

2022-02-02Please be aware of what you pay for. They are overcharging people for rent when all you get is some fake flooring and stainless steel appliances. They offer valet trash but then charge you for having trash outside your apartment. I had so many petty complaints about having trash outside my apartment and you don’t have the option to take out your own trash without being penalized. Don’t move here unless you want to come out of thousands of dollars because they make up charges to add to your account. I’m telling you it’s not worth it. They will put a paper on your door for $25 charge but when you check your account it says $75 extra on top of your already $1000+ rental payment. One of the worse management teams I’ve every encountered.
