Our dog loves it here.. Shes happy to arrive here and shes happy when we get her back. When we get our dog back she doesnt stink. The staff is friendly. This is our go to for daytime doggie sitting and long term stays.
We are using daycare for the first time for our puppy and everyone at the dog stop was super friendly and reassuring that our dog was in good hands. Our dog is always super excited to be dropped and he is always happy and when he comes home. :)
I brought in both my dogs and they got great cuts from Amber! She’s the best! The dogs got to play and make friends while they were there. They were fast asleep within a few mins after pickup- sign of a good time!
My pup Sequoia loves The Dog Stop! They always take great care of her when I have to go out of state. Plus it’s so nice to be able to watch her play on the cameras while I’m gone. Friendly staff and very clean location.
My dog had such an awesome grooming experience here this morning! He can be a bit skittish and the groomer was super patient with him and gave him an awesome summer shave down. We will definitely be returning!
A bit hard to find with all the construction in the area, but worth it! Our groomer was kind, knowledgeable, experienced, and considerate of our dog being a senior dog. Our pup left looking great and we will definitely be back!
I love this place. My Labrador has a bond with the people there and they take great care of her. She goes there mainly for grooming but I am looking to add daycare to her schedule.
The Dog Stop in Franklinton is the best. The staff is amazing and our dog always comes home the happiest dog in the world. The service is so good and this is the spot to take your pup if you haven’t found one yet!
I literally love this place and so does my puppy. From grooming to Daycare, I absolutely love it. I don’t think I’ll allow my puppy to go to any other doggy daycare since we’ve found The Dog Stop!
The only reason I am worried to take my dog there is because she is 10 lbs and though I was told they separate by size, I looked at the cameras and on all occasions, there are large dogs in the area I was told was small dog only. My dog has been accidently stepped on at daycares in the past, and I am too worried to send her to a daycare where she is mixed with larger dogs. Even if they told me they separated by temperament and that is why big dogs are in the small dog room, it would not ease my fear of my very small dog getting stepped on by a larger dog
This place is absolutely wonderful!!! I travel to Columbus once a month with my puppy and they take such great care of him. They took holiday photos last month for Valentines and this time will be St. Patty’s. They welcomed us this morning screaming Herman’s name. Makes me feel so at ease knowing he’s in such good hands. They also took the initiative to call my vet to get his updated shot records without interrupting my day to have me do it. It’s the little things - they have gone above and beyond!! Recommend 10 times over and over!!!
Luna was nervous being in a new place but the groomer took the time to play with her and earn her trust. When I came to pick Luna up, not only did she look great, but she clearly liked the groomer which made me feel confident that the experience was positive.
Joe grooms both of my dogs and has been for coming up on 8 years. Theres no one I trust more, plus he does an AMAZING job!!
This place is awesome. They have inside and outside space for your dog to play. And the space to dog ratio is much more generous than most places!

I love the Dog Stop! My puppy runs to the door as soon as I park the car because he wants to see all of his friends. Every staff member I’ve talked to is super nice, and they all recognize and welcome my dog as soon as he walks in. I also love the special events they host like Howl-a-Ween and Football day, and how I can watch my pup any time on their streaming video. Overall really impressed and MUCH nicer than the other daycare we tried out.
Brought my pup in for a groomers Appt today and he played in day care for a little bit. Prices are great and everyone I spoke to is super nice and personable. I can tell my dog had a blast! Can’t wait to bring him back!
Amazing place, amazing people. Our dog loves it there and she gets so excited the minute we pull in the parking lot. We feel so comfortable leaving her for the day or for multiple days when we go on a trip. Its obvious everyone there is passionate and cares for all the four legged friends.
Have had nothing but great experiences here! It’s clear that the team loves dogs and works to make my dog as comfortable as possible. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The facility is so bright and clean. I love the fun promotions they have and all the pictures they share.
The Dog Stop is very clean and the staff love my dog Izzy like she is their own. I work early mornings and this is the only daycare that open at 5:45 am for daycare.
I have been bringing my dog to the Dog Stop since May and I cannot emphasize enough how thoughtful, kind, and caring the staff is. Lisa, the owner, ensures everything is considered when the dogs are there for play. My dog can sometimes have behavioral issues and they have worked with the trainer to create alternative options when he acts up. They take into account what dogs get along with what dogs. And every staff member that I interact with really shows how much they know and love my dog. I strongly recommend this place.
Our 2 year old mini aussie has been going to the Dog Stop since it opened. He is so excited when we pull into the parking lot and its clear that hes so loved and well-taken care of there. We both work from home in the suburbs and make the drive downtown so he can get at least once a week at daycare. He always comes home happy and tired.
The Dog Stop in Franklinton is one of the best new dog daycare and boarding facilities Ive seen in the Columbus area! The staff is great and the facility is amazing! Its my one-stop-shop for my dog care needs in Columbus.
It all seemed extremely clean, well priced, and efficiently run. Weve had to board dogs at many different facilities, and this is one of the best looking ones Ive seen.
I really love this place until what I just witnessed. I watch on the cameras during all my breaks at work and saw an employee terribly mishandle and mistreat a few dogs. I screen recorded this behavior and will be contacting the business directly as well, but this is warning for all dog parents. They really need to better screen who they hire! My dog will absolutelynot be going back.
That groomed my dog, they can groom all. They did a wonderful job with her. My dog loved them.
Drop off and pick up were very easy. The facility is super clean, and I love that I can check in with the cameras to see how my girl is doing.
Highly recommend taking your pup to The Dog Stop! The staff and owner are amazing, and really care about your dog like it is there own. We’ve done daycare and boarding there so far and will definitely be back soon! They are super knowledgeable and helpful on any questions you may have. You’re able to stop in whenever for a quick tour which I thought was awesome to see everything. Lastly the dogs have so much fun playing all day your dog will definitely be tired for a day or 2 after!
What wonderful people!!!! Attended a low cost clinic with my 2 rather large and STRONG dogs. First thing, before I could even get near the front door, a wonderful rescue volunteer came and offered to help! When she had to return to her duties for the rescue center, she made sure that a Dog Stop employee would help me control my 2 fur babies! These people were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! When I offered a tip, I was referred to the donation jar! Even though it is a little out of my way, well worth the trip!!!
Positives: cameras to watch dogs on app from your phone, first 3 days freeComplaints: owner told me they were doing a Saturday special (which includes cheaper price but also extended hours) which leads me to leave a worse review than I previously would have. The problem was that I went to go take her and was informed that they were not going to do the special. The contradictions inconvenienced me greatly because I picked up some work opportunities yet could no longer pick my dog up in time since they wouldn’t be open late enough apparently now. Their inconsistencies are unprofessional and it affected me negatively because of it. If you can’t be reliable when I call to get information directly from the owner herself, I don’t think I can rely on you to send my dog any longer. We’ll see! I liked them more until the last unfortunate misunderstanding
I am so glad that The Dog Stop reopened! My pup loves running around there all day at daycare and I am so grateful that they keep such a close eye on him and give him so much love. I love the Dog Stop because there are so many different rooms for the pups, they can play without getting too overwhelmed. My pup just went to get groomed there this past weekend and they did an incredible job for a great value! I highly recommend The Dog Stop for anyone looking for a new place for your pup to hang out or get groomed in Columbus!

Kingsley got a groom at The Dog Stop yesterday. She smells and looks so much better than she usually does when she comes back from the groomer. My Wife raved about the level of hospitality and professionalism. We also love that fact that they have programs for dogs in training at their boarding. The smaller groups and one on one boarding allows her to socialize with other dogs in a controlled environment. Thank you for caring! You have our business in the future.
Absolutely love this place! The staff and the owner are so caring and committed to the pets! Ive worked professionally with The Dog Stop over the past few months and I am highly impressed with the level of care and attentiveness they have for all of their boarders. This is the only place Ill be taking my dog from here on out!
Friendly and caring staff. My GSD, Lily had a splint on her foot and had to be on rest for the duration of her stay. The Dog Stop was very accommodating for her medication and care needs and they took me on a tour of the facility before I dropped her off. I wish she were physically able to run and play with the other dogs during the daycare (she was kept in a smaller, singular dog room for exercise), but Ill definitely bring her again for our next stay when her foot is healed. When I returned from my trip I got a freshly bathed and very happy pup!
Our dog Fiona LOVES going to The Dog Stop! She jumps out of the car and runs to the front door every time. Everyone there is friendly, professional and most importantly, they all love every dog that comes through their door!

Owner went to my former place of employment and told them something I said to her in an interview, which in turn got me a lengthy and angry phone call. Seems like I made the correct decision in not working for her :) she is also weird about Pitbulls so find a better place for your Bully pals
Ive been taking my dog here for a while now. The staff is friendly and my dog comes back happy and unharmed. Overall its been a positive experience.
I would really like to like these guys. They are a new business and close by. The problem is they are really hard to find. Your GPS will have you turning left through a parking lot instead of a street. Also, they had an event that was supposed to go until 3pm and nobody was there to talk to me about prices or give me any info about the facility or a tour at only 2:30. They gave my do a bath for free and that was nice, but I had to really push for something pointing out that I came to their event within the timeframe. Maybe they just had too many people show up.
Great people. Our dog runs to the door when we drop him off when we need to travel. We dont feel so bad when we cant take him with us knowing he is happy there.
If I could rate them 10000000 I would! I needed a place to place my sweetheart Wrigley because she needed to be seen at Ohio state the next day. They could not have been more accommodating even when I was late due to the time change. Super clean, excellent staff. They even texted me to check on my girl! Thanks so much!!!!!
The Dog Stop is great with my timid aussie! I’ve boarded Heidi multiple times with TDS and they are patient and attentive to her medicinal needs.

Took my dog here to get washed and nails trimmed. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The services they provide are reasonably priced. I would definitely bring my dog back and will recommend this place.
What a gorgeous facility -- multiple play areas, each with access to outside spaces, and beautiful large kennels equipped with beds and blankets. We havent used their grooming services yet but we will be back soon -- the prices are GREAT.

I scheduled this appointment two weeks in advance the construction around this business has been going on for quite some time the building is half erect however these people never once mentioned how to get to their services what roads to take specifically and Google Maps could not help you cannot drive through the Spaghetti Warehouse and get to this business there is no access road these people should have informed me and anyone else whos had this problem of that for that I give them 0 Stars if I could

2022-07-21We have taken our pup for a 4 day board and 4 additional days of daycare. When we tell baby girl the night before she’s going to see her friends tomorrow she will wake up ready to go! When she gets there, forget the good bye because she is trying to jump the gate to see everyone. The staff is friendly, the pup loves them and I know she’s safe and have the time of her life. Ophelia will be a regular here for sure.

He can get really nervous meeting people for the first time, which happened with Jo, but she made sure that he was comfortable with her before we left him. She took the cutest picture of him after his haircut and the report card was awesome. Thank you so much for making our dog love getting groomed!!!

2022-04-21Our puppy LOVES this place! We LOVE this place! The daycare system is amazing - no reservation needed. Just drop off and pick up at your own convenience. Boarding is also great - the price is very reasonable with great add-ons as needed (like baths). The staff is really amazing! You can tell they all really care for the dogs, know the dogs, and are just great people. The owner is also present and is lovely. She even got the city ro fix the awful pothole in front of the driveway. Id give this place a higher rating if Google allowed.

2022-01-18This place clearly cares about the dogs that come through their doors. I started bringing my dog to them after hearing nothing but good things from others. Even then, The Dog Stop went above and beyond my expectations. It can be hard to trust strangers to keep your pets best interests in mind, but I feel at ease every time I drop my pup off knowing hes in good hands.

2021-09-16I took my dog here as well as one other daycare when I first moved here a month ago and I could tell this facility was the better of the two. The facility was so much more spacious for dogs to run, they don’t group too many dogs together in one play area, and they even have space for those dogs that don’t get along so well with others (dogs that most others places typically won’t even watch). Lisa, Shaylan and the rest of the staff really want to make sure your dog is having a good time and getting the care they need.

2022-06-21As a first-timer using the grooming services, the groomer spent time with me beforehand to discuss the type of groom I wanted for my dog and made sure I felt comfortable leaving my dog there (shes 9 years old and only ever been to one groomer before). The grooming services were fantastic! My schnoodle looks so lovely.

2022-01-09We absolutely love Lisa and her crew at The Dog Stop! We trust her with our pup and he gets excited to see his friends for daycare and boarding. We have tried multiple dog daycares in the Columbus area and this is by far the best! Dogs have large, clean places to play. Additionally, the dogs have access to outside and employees are constantly with the dogs. They genuinely care about your dog too! I highly recommend trying this location!

2022-04-30My favorite part is seeing my dog happily and willingly go into the arms of every dog stop caregiver when I drop her off and when I pick her up she comes home happy and tired from a fun day of play. She never acts stressed or unhappy…the grooming is top notch (shout out to Joe)….and while I don’t know every single caregiver, I know many by name and they know my dog and my family….I moved from 2 minutes away to 25 minutes away and I still go out of my way to take her to the dog stop East Franklinton.

2022-06-27I’ve got a senior Newfoundland that has had some joint problems in recent years + he had numerous cancellations from other local spots due to staffing problems, so he was in desperate need of a full groom. Not only did they do an amazing job of trying to work with his joint problems, but they did great at making him still look good despite having to have matting removed in big chunks.They also later did an awesome job with our other dog Stryker at super reasonable prices. Our dogs will be coming here as long as they will have us 😃.

2021-11-08Have been taking my pup here for a while now. Almost every week, multiple days. Every single person here is amazing and seeing how much they love my dog and how much he loves them and going there every time is awesome!! A comforting and welcoming environment and I love being able to trust a place so much with my child! HahaVery reliable, I recommend coming here for sure. From day care to boarding to grooming!! They are amazing :)
