My husband and I were new to gun ownership last year. We went to The Bullet Ranch because it was close to home. Good thing because we would not travel anywhere else now , as the customer service is GREAT!!! They helped us pick out which firearm was the best for both of us and trained us in the specifics. They are VERY knowledgeable and helpful and we were very comfortable with the place and people...even Gunner, the resident dog is a sweetheart! Give it a try and you wont be disappointed!
One of the main priorities i look for when Im going to the range is safety and cleaningness. At the bullet ranch you get these expectations met and then some. Additionally you get extremely knowledgeable employees, great selection of ammo and accessories. Anything from state of the art training aids, to full auto rentals to parts they got you cover. 100% recommended. Steve, Shaun, Jerry all great guys.
I became a member when the Bullet Ranch opened and have renewed every year since! The facilities are modern and clean. Most importantly, the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly! It’s a great place to spend a few hours having fun with friends and family, or just honing you firearms skills by yourself!
This place is simply the best! Clean, organized, family friendly! Very educated staff & the owners and management are very involved in the community. We continue to send our kids to their summer camp (shhh don’t tell too many people!) and safety classes…Hubby and I got our concealed carry class done here.Just overall the beat place to go!
An excellent gun store and gun-smithing establishment. They also sell Black Rifle Coffee. This is the only store and range to go to if you are serious about 10mm ammo availability and selection of ammo! It is that good. I was happy to find the best ammo for the .45acp there is in my opinion that is not special ordered. That ammo is Hornady Critical Defense, and they had plenty as well as the near impossible to find Sellier & Bellot brand ammo in JHP. They had like 14 boxes and a price that was competitive. The employees were great and personable even though being a night person and coming near close, they were still tentative. This place is now my ammo store and I will be there when the really high performance 10mm ammo arrives. The most powerful .45acp ammo and also 10mm ammo is both made by Liberty Arms, it is called Civil Defense. The 10mm travels at 2400fps and the .45acp at 1900fps with 600lbs of energy which is 100% transferred to the target. Their shooting range is top notch and i had the range to myself for almost a hour starting at 10am, it was clean and quiet plus air conditioned/ventilated.It is worth the drive. The parking lot is also big as well and was easy to spot and pull into. Their gun selection was also decent as to they sell Rock Island Armory firearms, those are hard to find. Have bought a rifle just yesterday, it is very high quality, they do things right and are very meticulous about their firearms. They are hyper responsive on their facebook reaction time and also very caring about customers, i know because when i needed it, they were closed and helped me within minutes, they impress me alot and earned even more respect.
Ive been to the bullet ranch several times and its always been a wonderful experience. The staff is always polite and anxious to help. Theyve never ignored me no matter how busy they may be at the time. Love the indoor range! Comfortable with AC and heat. Thank you to the Bullet Ranch staff!
As I walked in, I was greeted with a hello and smile from a little dude with big ears and an awesome beard. (Reminded me of a garden gnome so +5 pts already) Everyone there was so polite, knowledgeable, and helped me get set up for my first range trip. With safety form filled and filed they helped get me on a lane and instructed me on how to make sure we all have fun and stay safe in a live fire area (including basics like never pointing a loaded weapon anywhere but downrange, to keeping guns in cases until theyre at the line and ready to be shot). overall I felt safe, and will continue to go to BulletRanch. Thanks again!
Been going here for a while and have been a member for about 3 years. Excellent staff. Have bought and sold at LEAST a couple of firearms here. Also use their FFL services quite frequently. Everyone is always very helpful and the facility is first rate. I’m terrible with names but SO to Sean, Jerry and Carroll.
Just left there . The Lane target device broke down and the help button I was told was disabled. There were too many non shooters there and leaving my equipment wasnt an option. The girl at the counter said I should have started waving my arms to get attention. I dont think they monitor the lanes well for safety. I shot for 10 mins and left dissatisfied. I have had better experiences there but the help could have been better
My wife walked in the Bullet Ranch 7 years ago having no idea about how to use a firearm. Jerry and team has helped us in ways that I cannot explain in this small space. I can absolutely say you cannot find a better range in this area maybe in the whole state. You find professional and dedicated people for safety and training. Not to mention an excellent range and gun store. Please give them a try and you will not be disappointef.
The entire staff is like dealing with friends. From the moment you walk in, friendly smiles from Lisa, knowledgeable staff, and a catering environment. Look, purchase, shoot, or have coffee and gain knowledge from Steve, Sean or Jake about custom build ideas. I’ve used them all to great success. I love this range and I recommend it to my friends all the time.
I have been to the Bullet Ranch range several times in the past few months since the covid19 restrictions have eased up. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Rental for the range is $15 for an hour if I remember right. Ammo could be an issue of certain types so call first or take your own.
Great, friendly staff who help folks have fun in a safe atmosphere. I’ve brought friends of all sorts of different backgrounds to this range and they’ve always felt welcome and taken care of.Range is well maintained and classes I’ve attended have been fun and informative.
I cannot recommend this place enough. I started private lessons last year with Steve and I have learned so much! The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. They know you by name and you can truly tell how much they care about their client base.Thank you for being a great part of the community!
I went there on Saturday evening. I totally enjoy the customer service.1. I turn 21, 2 days ago and I purchase my gun from point blank. So I don’t know much about guns.2. I went in there to shoot on range, but range was closed for events. So I decided to purchase a gun carrier and guy there explain me all about guns and teach me good stuff about gun that I have.So no complain here. Good service
As a resident of the west side, I dont often get the opportunity to visit The Bullet Ranch, but on the several occasions I have visited, it has always been a first class experience. The staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable, and the range is modern and clean.
I love this place. Been going for a few years and they are professional. I was reading a couple of reviews and I wanted to leave a reviews because I rarely do one. The one that got me was by David Weber. All he does is complain about fast foods and no masks. Every time I have been at BR, they always put safety first.
Wonderful, knowledgable staff that are willing to help you find what you want and need, not just sell you a gun, holster or ammo. Steve and I looked at over a dozen holsters before finding the right fit for my EDC. He even took the time to explain to differences between the types, noting the pros and cons of each style. They also offer an incredible CHL / CCW course that is designed to take you from never having held a pistol to being proficient in the safe handling and use of one.And the date night events! My wife and I love going out to TBR, getting a nice meal and firing full auto MP5s!
Excellent, I received my concealed license during the COVID period, only 1 person out of a class of 13 had a mask on. This is a personal decision made by individuals. The American way. The reviews slamming them for a mask are out of bounds and most Gun owners would understand. Patronize this establishment!
Walked in and right back out because I saw a customer and two employees without masks. If they can’t even take care to protect customers by taking that simple step why would I trust them with my gun needs? Sign on the door says masks required even, but they clearly aren’t taking the pandemic serious. Health dept complaint also filed. It’s really not a hard thing to enforce for employees, other gun stores do it, and your opinion on masks doesn’t matter when compared to facts.
I have used Bullet Ranch for purchasing ammo, gear, and of course the range, and never have a problem with customer service, or ease of use, or speed. Typically love coming it just to browse. However, I dropped a firearm off for smithing in April, and called multiple times, and stopped in multiple times to only just miss the gunsmith, or he is not in, or some other reason. (which Im sure are valid reasons, truly) But if those are the reasons why no progress is being made, there should have been some communication about that in the time since April til today, June 22nd.Called again today, to hear from one of the employees we do not currently have a gunsmith... promptly drove over after work and picked it up, and will obviously be using another gunsmith.Just to clarify, love Bullet Ranch, but please follow up with better communication if it is going to take months to work on something, or if you dont in fact currently have a gunsmith. In conclusion, I will still use you guys for my other needs. Im not mad or upset as this really didnt disrupt my life at all, just hope this is read as constructive criticism. See you soon!
I shoot here every week. The staff is always friendly, helpful and have a great attitude. They are constantly getting new or different inventory so there is always something I want to buy when Im there. The range is a little more expensive than other options, but the cleanliness, amenities and staff more than make up for the cost difference. The range is always heated in the winter and cooled in the summer to a comfortable temperature. The ventilation system is excellent and I have never seen the range filled with smoke or dust, even when whole bays are shooting together or if anyone is shooting full auto. The only downside to the range is that they do not allow shotguns on the range, but they do have a sporting clays course behind the building. If you are planning to purchase a suppressor the staff here will answer all of your questions and are very helpful with the whole process. If you go through them or choose them as a dealer you can even use your suppressor in their range while you wait for your stamp approval.
Great shooting range. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I will be back for sure to use the indoor range in the winter months. The prices to use the range is extremely reasonable and affordable. $20 for a lane and $10 per person in your lane and they will split that up per person too. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great indoor range!
Good indoor range. Staff is always nice and helpful. Range rates are fairly priced for non members and if they are not busy they will let you shoot for longer than the hour. The website needs some work though. The online store is hard to find, if you go to your cart and click back to shopping you can access their online store. Other than that its a great place! (P.S.- Bullet Ranch owner, I know you read your reviews. If there is a better way to access your store can you please leave it as a reply? Thanks!)
Outstanding selection of guns and accessories. The staff is very knowledgeable and good customer service is always received. Ive been shooting and buying there since they opened. Ive bought two gently used Glocks there and they are in excellent condition. The facility is new and kept clean and neat.Five by five for my rating!
Friendly, accommodating, appreciative. This is an amazing place. Guarantee if you visit, you’ll be sending them Christmas cards! If you haven’t taken advantage of their multiple memberships, you should, especially if you are current/former LE/MIL. My family has been a lifetime member for about 3 years, and it has nearly paid for itself already. You can’t beat the service and the people there. Not one negative thing to say! Glad I’m a life member. My 4yo daughter loves visiting too. Her first firearm and range day will be at The Ranch!
First time customer, usually prefer Vances or LEPD. I Must say, I enjoyed my experience and will likely be coming back. Great service, nice indoor range, (12 lanes I believe) and the store is well organized. I Only had two minor issus, 1. theyre very selective about your ammunition at the range (which is understandable) and 2. this place is in the boonies. Lol. I came from Dublin Ohio, it was a little bit of a drive, but the service was so awesome Ill definitely be coming back. Due to covid 19, limited people in the range and store, and they do offer CCW training classes.
I was looking for a range closer to where I live and thought I would give this place a try. The staff were friendly, courteous & welcoming. When they learned that I was new to shooting a staff member escorted me to the range, showed me how things work & gave me some very helpful pointers without me even having to ask. I signed up for a 90 Day membership which I will definitely be rolling over to the annual membership. Every time I walk in they know who I am, what I shoot & what targets I prefer. Nice, clean range and I have yet to wait for a lane. If you havent checked this place out you should.
Family friendly great place. Very nice selection of new and used firearms and accessories. We have purchased both new and used and also have had them build one for us. Great gunsmith service on site.Very clean well maintained shooting range. Knowledgable staff always willing to help and answer any questions. This is the CHEERS of Gun Stores !!!
As a first time gun buyer, I really appreciated the help of staff in the buying process. I had the priviledge of having one hour of private instruction from Carol and by the time I left the store I felt that I could comfortably and more importantly, safely manage my firearm. Carol had a lot of great information for a new shooter.
I have always had a great experience when doing business with the Bullet Ranch and actually pass 2 other ranges on my way out there. The facilities are always clean and well organized. Its easy to find things and I always find what I need. I also feel very safe in bringing my Sons in for shooting and wouldnt take them anywhere else for expertise on guns and how to handle a firearm safely. Jerry Carver is who I deal with exclusively as I find him to be the most knowledgeable. He is always interested in making sure I am getting exactly what I need and that Im happy with what Ive bought. I dont go anywhere else.
Whats not to like about this gem of a small town range and gun store? From the friendly staff who all know me by name, to the knowlegable salespeople, to the great range. I love the place so much I opted to buy an annual membership the last couple of years. I must also so it must be a great place to work because much of their staff has been there still since day 1. 2 thumbs way up! 👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing customer service!!! Needed help switching out a barrel but and they the man there today did it very quickly and without a problem, told me it was no problem and no charge for this service, I did tip the man for his time, knowledge, and customer service. Highly recommend this shop for any needs gun related
Not the best customer service experience to be had. Prices higher than competition, both box stores and local small businesses.Have had personal experience in the past with personal property being left behind, confirmed over the phone with the staff that it was there and in lost and found. Upon returning to collect my item, the staff says they dont have item they confirmed prior. After 3 different interactions about this incident, it was never addressed.Success in gun business is heavily based on service reputation and honesty, I dont care to do business with a company that is comfortable allowing a customer to leave questioning their integrity in either area.
I was in the area and decided to stop in to check this place out at the suggestion of one of my customers. I was greeted right away and offered help from a very friendly young man. I inquired about range time prices which were about the same as other shooting ranges in the Columbus area. Their shop had a nice selection of merchandise for being a smaller shop. I look forward to coming back to shoot in the near future.
My wife, Christina Smith, and I took our CCW training class this past Saturday and it was excellent! Prior to that I had purchased a Ruger SP101 .357 and Christina purchased a SIG P365 from the Bullet Ranch. In all honesty, everyone we worked with were professional, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful and we thank you all (a special thanks to Brandon). It is a wonderful facility and we highly recommend it to anyone interested in firearms.
Went to the range with one other person. There was a ccw class taking up a few lanes so they asked us to share a lane. No big deal I though since it’s unlimited time. By the time we got in the range and set up we were able to shoot for about 45 minutes before our lane was turned off and we were asked to give it up. They do have a disclaimer that if a wait list occurs they may ask you to shoot 1hr at a time. No big deal, besides the fact there were multiple other lanes of shooters that had gotten there before us and were still shooting after we left. And it was about 1.5 hrs until closing so not worth waiting for another lane to open since the other people really had all of the time they wanted. Ended up driving 45 minutes to get about 15-20 minutes of range time.I usually buy several firearms per year and go shooting with groups of people several times monthly. I like to give business to family owned places, but when their customer service sucks and their prices are higher, it becomes not worthwhile. This is a good example of how handling a $30 transaction poorly cost you thousands in the long run. I’ll be taking my business to Vance or aimhi from now on. Price, selection, and customer service is far superior to bullet ranch.
The Bullet Ranch is a great place to go for all your firearm needs. Their gunsmith is very knowledgeable as well as friendly. If you have your firearm worked on they try their best to give you an upfront price BEFORE doing any work. The staff is amazing. I feel like I am part of the family every time I go in for any reason. The place is always very clean and organized. I visited Ohio Valley, Aim Hi, and LEPD ranges before going to The Bullet Ranch and they impressed me more than all the others I had been to. The range is clean, very well ventilated, and always getting improvements (Painting the walls, floors, and equipment). The range is very up to date and very safe. There arent any employees stationed on the range, because they screen people well, and well its just not needed. They do go out to the lanes with you your first time to get you aquaited to the lanes and the rules to ensure your comfortable and everyones safety, because safety comes first. I liked The Bullet Ranch so well I am a member and have taken others with me that are now members as well. I took my CCW class there and it was very well done and professional. I have talked up the class so much that I think I have had at least 10 people mostly from my Church also take the class. Most of which were woman and they said they thought it would be a bit intimidating, but they were very happy with the class and staff. I have bought many things there including firearms and the process was made very smooth. They offer a summer camp for children that I think is an awesome idea. I love going in and having the staff call me by name. There just are not many businesses you can say that about now days. Do not think twice about The Bullet Ranch, just go and enjoy yourself and discover what a real small town American small business is all about.
Everyone is so friendly here, so different than the other Cols. range I visited. Very affordable merchandise, gunsmithing and gun range. They only charge one hour rate for as long as you can shoot if they are not busy. You will never go anywhere else after you visit this place. I had my customer supplied Tru-Dot sights installed and bore sighted for $35.I took another pistol and some other sights to the other Cols. range, who charged me $10 just to to tell me they wouldnt fit.
This place has a good range and is a great place to go shoot. I did however have a bad experience at this store after I purchased a new firearm that wasnt in as good of condition as I would expect. When I went back to the store I was treated like an idiot and met with hostility, and even threatened to be sued for libel just for giving a bad review! Fortunately the owner is a nice and honest person unlike some of his staff.
Came in today to get a cheese grater put on the upper hand guard of my akm. Walked in and the guy behind the counter immediately knew how to help. Tipped him with a box of 7.62 since it didnt seem like he would be asking for compensation. Will definitely be back for guns, training and range time. Was an LEPD guy, but this is my new go to store
Did my conceal and carry 2 hours here. I believe it was Todd who was the trainer. Excellent instructor...gave me 4 helpful pointers between qualifying shots that improved my accuracy. He was a wealth of knowledge on things you dont realize. Will be back with family to shoot!
I have known JC for years. He brought with him his great customer service from his previous job. He caring and support of Veteran assistance thru the Bullet Ranch is commendable. I have purchased firearms from his shop and his staff is one of the reasons I go back. They want to help customers with their knowledge, not expect the customer to automatically buy from them. Not like in other stores. As a veteran and LEO. I appreciate the safety guidelines they enforce at the store and on the range.
I have a life time family membership at The Bullet Ranch and we are very pleased with the sales, service and facilities, we use the indoor gun range and outdoor archery range. We are always greeted with genuine appreciation for our business and the new people we bring to the range are welcomed and encouraged to let the staff know if there is anything they can do to make their visit more enjoyable. The annual birthday bash is a fun event with tons of raffes, great food and entertainment.
I went here a few months ago to test fire a new build. The facility is just plain beautiful. I couldnt decide whether it was a range or a spa. Maybe a little of both. Haha. During the week the price for range time is $25 for the whole day if theyre not busy. (I believe thats what they said) On the weekends its by the hour if there is a wait. Great range, no doubt. I didnt get a chance to check out the inventory. Next time.
Very awesome place man . Staff is amazing prices are seriously just very reasonable, especially being able to shoot all day if you want when they arent busy is just awesome love this place and cant wait to come back. I was hesitant to buy this used ruger LCP but it was such a steal I couldnt pass on it and the guys are awesome I am a FAN. Will more than likely be a member dont think twice about checking this place out
Where do i start the guys made a home range very comfortable Ive been coming to them since i left other ranges like vances and other ones and they have never let me down!!! Great family oriented range very knowledgeable staff and i love every time i come in ! Thank you guys -Davon C.
The Bullet Ranch has the friendliest staff and owner of any establishment I’ve taken my business to. The range is always in top shape. I never feel pressured to hurry. Any time I have a question, someone is always willing to answer my questions fully and make sure I understand. They’re big on safety (as they should be) and anyone not following the rules are taken seriously. It’s always a nice relaxed shooting experience at TBR.
My wife and I have visited the Bullet Ranch several times over the past two years. The first thing we noticed entering the establishment was how clean it was kept. Not only is the showroom and shooting range well-kept, but the classrooms and restrooms are better kept then most high end stores. The stigma of a good old boys club does not apply here. The Bullet Ranch is a very family friendly environment that I have no problem bringing my three boys there to shoot. For the adults and children that do not wish to shoot, but still want to watch, the viewing room is available with plenty of seating and vending machines for snacks. My middle son is sensitive to loud noises, but due to the construction of the range and viewing area, he is able to sit and watch others shoot without any discomfort. The Bullet Ranch offers week long summer camps for children throughout the summer months. The kids enjoy learning about firearm safety, pistol and rifle shooting, archery, map and compass reading, and shelter building. The staff incorporates the highest standards of safety with having fun and enjoying the camp. One of the perks of the camp is that all supplies to include safety gear, firearms, and ammunition is supplied. To say my boys enjoyed the camp is an understatement! The shooting range includes 10 lanes, with an adjustable target carrier length of up to 75 feet. Each lane is well lit, with its own adjustable overhead lighting. Unlike other indoor ranges I have been to, the floor is kept clean of spent casings and paper waste. Trash cans are readily available and in over two years I have never seen an over-full trash can. The staff is very conscious of the range cleanliness and operation.A big plus that initially drew us to the Bullet Ranch is the ladies only classes. Unfortunately there is still a huge stigma towards first time female shooters. My wife, who is a seasoned shooter, and a few of her friends who are new to the shooting world have taken some of these classes. Not only did they learn invaluable skills, but the training environment was very un-intimidating due to the fact that the NRA certified instructors were all women as well. This made it very comfortable for first time shooters. My two older boys, ages 10 and 15 have taken the youth firearms training courses, and the NRA Youth Marksmanship Program offered at the Bullet Ranch. As expected they had a great time, enjoyed every minute of it, and always look forward to going back. Many children can become gun shy if they feel like they are being “forced” into the world of shooting. I can honestly say, “Not at this range”. Eye and hearing protection sized for children is readily available for those that do not bring their own.The firearm, ammunition, and accessories offered at the store is diverse, and competitively priced. Rifle and pistol rental is also available to those that do not own their own firearm, or wish to try something different. It’s a plus to me that I can walk in the store, complete a little paperwork, and be able to enjoy some “gun therapy” without having to bring my own firearm, ammunition, targets, or safety gear. It can all be provided with the rental.Lastly, and in my opinion the most important part of this review is the customer service. Unlike other ranges and stores throughout Ohio, the Bullet Ranch is very relaxed and friendly. Every staff member, and I mean every staff member is very well versed in their job. Steve, Jerry, Roy, Jake, George, and Sara are just a few of the staff that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. They all will go out of their way to answer any questions and assist with any customer needs. Additionally, several of the staff come from a LE or Military background. As a Military Vet, this just adds to the friendly atmosphere of the store. Having knowledgeable male and female staff members with diverse backgrounds and personalities brings a level of comfort to customers that may prefer to interact with only certain staff members.
You should be ashamed of yourselves for the responses you give to your customers on here! Every person’s experience is their OWN & for someone to immediately get defensive & talk any kind of way to a PAYING customer who had a not-so-great experience is just plain rude! And poor customer service! Which tells me & everyone else who looks at reviews PRIOR to coming to an establishment that as a customer, my needs & wants don’t mean more to you than a potential repeat customer. A repeat customer is far more cost effective than a brand new customer & you (Jerry) just drove this customer away! I hope you are not the owner & just work here as an employee b/c if you are an employee, you just lost this franchise ALOT of $$. Word of mouth goes Far!
1/18This place is clean, and the range is one of the best indoor ranges I have seen. The staff was nice enough, but the lady working the desk was not all there. We went today and bought some supplies, and planned to go to the range. We asked about time limits and she told us there was not any. We planed to stay awhile and wanted to pay up front. Nice, no time limit so we had to wait about 20 min for a lane. We also asked about 2 lanes, and she said that might be a long wait. That is normal so we only used one lane. We get in, we see only half the lanes are being used. After shooting about 20 min our target came in on its own. My friend goes out to ask whats up, and she tells him range time is only an hour. He shows her the receipt, and shows her we paid 40 min ago, and had to wait 20 mins, and asked before we paid and she said there was no time limit. Another employee then said because it was a holiday (MLK, or Boxing Day or something) range time was limited to an hour. Again my friend showed him the recipt, and it had only been 45 min now, and had to wait 20 before we got a lane. He looked at us confused, stared at the monitor, and said we could get signed up again at no cost, but would have to wait again after that. There were a few other groups there, and we decided not to waitThe place was nice, very clean, staff were nice. We just were misinformed by the lady behind the desk. I would say the place is great otherwise but, I cant rate them outside of my experience there.
I have a Range much closer to my house but after spending some time with the team at the Bullet Ranch with Jerry Carver I always take the extra drive. My wife and I have completed more than one training class, purchased numerous guns, and just recently became an annual member. We look to join the shooting leagues soon and will continue to do all of my gun and training business here. Top notch facility and staff. You cant go wrong here.
The Bullet Ranch provides knowledgeable, friendly customer service and their prices are equal to or below local competitors. They offer a nice variety of guns, ammo, and other shooting accessories and their indoor range is top notch. Welcoming to experts and novices alike, they can help you with any and all of your personal firearm needs.
The Bullet Ranch has the best customer service. Memberships are very reasonable. Its a great place for gun repair and modification. CCW and safety training. Always planning fun events and competitions. Even the other customers are friendly.UPDATE: I am handicap with degenerative disc disease, prostrate cancer and a bulging hernia. I used to be able to sit down and shoot at The Bullet Ranch. It is impossible for me to stand for any length of time without being in severe pain. Due to policy change I am no longer allowed to sit and shoot. This broke my heart! For the life in me I cannot see how this could be a hazard. They have handicap parking for me and that is a plus. I have many months left on my membership and now I will not be able to use it. I hope they reconsider. Not all customers are able to stand up and shoot. I really love this place. I have Purchase a gun, ammunition, targets, modifications and have taken classes at TBR. I wish I could stand for long periods of time, but I cannot. Please support the Handicap! We like shooting too!
Bar none the best place for friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. My wife and I had a class there and the teacher was extremely knowledgeable and taught in a way that everyone could comprehend. We will defiantly keeping our business with the bullet range in Pataskala.
I like this store and will continue to do business with them. However DO NOT buy from their online store if you want it in a reasonable amount of time. The online store does not represent what TBR has in stock. I placed my order Tues the 13th. 10 days later Im out $500 with no gun. Read all the terms and conditions on the site about online ordering before you order!. I was supposed to pick it up today but was told by the sales person that even if it comes in I cant pick it up until they check it in etc. etc. And that they will call when its ready. If you dont mind waiting for a unspecified ridiculous amount of time then go ahead. The price was great!!! Seriously great. Unfortunately still no gun. Tomorrow maybe? Its tomorrow and I picked up my rifle today. The people there are helpful and professional. Thats why I will always do business with The Bullet Ranch. Ill just come in and buy my gun. This purchase turned out to be worth the wait. Great gun at a great price.
Walked in, they asked if I had a mask, advised them of my medical condition that forbids me from wearing one, they said sorry but were gonna follow the governors orders, we cant serve you, they offered no alternate solution either... never thought Id see a gun store bow down like this, but i guess its good we weed them out, NEVER taking my business there again..Update: owner responded and immediately stated masks are for sale 🤦♂️... trying to make a sale without listening GEEESSSHHH, what part of medical exemption arent you getting???... the conversation the owner is referring to is something they werent even there for, the gentleman behind the counter (who i dealt with) and myself were cordial in spite of their stance to bow down to things, but from here on out the referrals will be telling folks to NOT go to them for anything 👍
Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant staff, reasonable prices, wide range of products&services offered. Full auto permitted on range. I was so impressed during my first two visits that I now no longer consider any alternatives even though there are more geographically convenient ranges in my area.
Had some gunsmith work done on my Weatherby 30-06. Specifically had the stock glass bedded. I took them a clean gun/clean bore. I got back a dirty bore, and bedding compound stuck all over the barrel, action and scope. None of the screws were torqued to spec. I had to dremmel the stock at the rear of the action where the heal of the bolt rides because it was not done by the smith, and the bolt was hard to cycle. The action screws were all marred up. After seeing all this, I did not remove the action from the stock to see what the bedding job looked like. Shooting the gun will tell if its a good bedding job. And it took them three months to complete when they told me it would be two weeks. If youre looking for a gun smith, look else where.
Managers inflated prices to push sale. Very pushy. Woman Became irritated unfriendly when I held off on sale of range membership. Sad to see a 2nd amendment sales Facility so quick to act unprofessional. Gave 3 stars not two just bc of what they sell. Wont be buying a corporate membership here
My husband and I used to really enjoy shooting here. However, the last couple times weve been one of the staff members has been too friendly. I couldnt believe how the younger chick with glasses was openly flirting with my husband telling him where she worked outside of the TBR what bar she was going to that night and he should go right infront of me!! How unprofessional can you be! Have some class woman. My husband and I both left feeling awkward about the situation. This is one of two times its happened. Once Ill let it slide two and Im not sure were gonna be back. That definitely makes for bad business. Such a shame 1 person has to ruin it. This Definitely makes for bad business. Please talk to your staff about how this is not appropriate and guests shouldnt be leaving feeling uncomfortable. If its happened to us Im sure theres plenty others.
Always a pleasure dealing with the staff. While I may find a slightly better price elsewhere, the customer service and knowledge of the people I deal with makes the difference well worth it. And its always nice to be remembered and greeted like an old friend everytime I visit
I had just brought and fire arm from the beat place in town THE BULLET RANCH! I would like to thank the whole staff for all the help. I would highly recommend if you are looked for a place to go shooting were the staff is very friendly and down to earth this would be the place to go.Thanks again to all that help
I have been a customer of the Bullet Ranch since they opened. Jerry was the first person I met and his along with all of the employees service and attitude is why I continue. I just renewed my Membership and plan on purchasing a Lifetime in the near future. I have purchased a new firearm, taken my CCW class, shot in a league and they brokered a gun for me. Couldnt ask for anything better..
Heres why I love the Bullet Ranch:On my first visit, I bought a Mossberg Maverick 88 Security, 20 model. The people at the register were very polite, chatty and friendly, and it was refreshing to see them carrying. It was great for my first-time buying a gun and they were very helpful with my 4473. The other day, I ordered about $80 worth of Magpul PMAGs. I chose shipping and it was about $58 to have them shipped to my house. I called today to enquire about the delivery date and the employee on the other end quickly figured out that I was overcharged for shipping. He put me in for two free range passes and a gun rental pass, and said he would address the issue. I appreciate the professionalism and the hospitality of the Bullet Ranch and its employees. I can guarantee that Ill be back to shop at this damn-fine establishment more than once.
Not too bad a place to shoot if you are close. Have some safety issues on the ranges because they are unsupervised. I have shot at BW, the Powder Room, AimHi and LEPD, I would rate them around third or fourth. Looking at their website it is obvious they have plagiarized a lot of the classes and content from BW and AimHi. Ammo is also more expensive than other ranges. Would be nice to see a new range like this have new ideas rather than just copy what others are doing.
As far as ranges go this one is pretty good. Pretty nice people compared to some gunshops I wont mention... Ahem (Vance especially the Cleveland Avenue branch). Like any other gun shop as well buy your range ammo at Walmart order it online for a fraction of the cost. I got mine half the price theyre charging here but then again I guess they have to have the mark-up to make up. Nobodys getting rich on 20 bucks an hour for a rifle range. It is a bit of a poke a good 20, 25 minutes outside of the Eastside of Columbus but worth it when you cant get to another one and theyre usually not busy. For some reason Vance in Obetz is always closing their firing range. What exactly do you call it? Firing range, a gun range, a pistol or rifle range, a shooting range? The other issue is everybody closes at 8 p.m. even out here and if I had an indoor shooting range I would stay open late or even convert it to 24 hour with some kind of automated entry to individual lanes because invariably there are people standing around behind you you cant tell what theyre doing so, so called situational awareness goes out the window. Also invariably at least the last two or three times Ive been at a range Im popping off my little Ruger LCP 380 or the replacement 9 mm carbine I just got and some dude with a cannon is in the lane next to me just as Im leaning forward he fires and KABOOM! I THINK THAT DUDE WAS FIRING A 308 MILITARY SURPLUS RIFLE OF SOME KIND! I remember the old 8 mm German 1898 Mauser I used to have and that SOB was loud! Anyway a nice range, decent building, clean nice parking and its out in the middle of nowhere basically although I think its still Pataskala proper and I was told it took them 4 years to get permits. If and when I open a range its going to be outside of any municipality and I will buy off the local Township.

2021-07-10Ive been a member for the past year and as a relatively new gun owner I can say that having a place like TBR is invaluable. Their knowledgeable and helpful staff make the place very welcoming, even to newbies and novices. As a reliable vendor and FFL facility, they provide a lot of great products and services, from new & used firearms and bulk ammunition, to mags, bags, holsters, and everything in between. Whether youre a long-time enthusiast or first-time shooter, the Bullet Ranch will serve your needs with a smile.

2021-07-09We have been visiting the Bullet Ranch since shortly following their opening, and we have never experienced anything but a positive, friendly, professional, welcoming environment each and every time.Their indoor lanes are well-maintained and their prices are competitive, overall, especially considering you are buying from people who know what they are talking about. Expertise is rarely free, or even cheap, you still get exactly what you pay for.

2021-07-10Although I’m not a big shooter I have gone her multiple times and have always enjoyed myself. I felt safe, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. Many of my family and friends go here often, as well. I also attended a suicide prevention class there as they feel a gun owner should be prepared for every possibility when a gun is home. The class was very informative and well run. They are always willing to support the community by allowing groups to run fundraisers or camp on their grounds (using their facilities as well) for example.

2021-07-11I have been a member for over three years and have enjoyed the opportunities to shoot at a quality range. I like the range because it is brightly lit, clean, and well ventilated. The staff is very concerned about patron and guest safety and well being. I like the fact that rifles and hand gun use is segregated when ever possible. This is helpful for new and young shooters that are not accustomed to the loud noise associated with rifles and large caliber hand guns.I think that the staff are friendly and helpful. Lisa is so cheery and welcoming. I like the fact that the range has a knowledgeable gunsmith/armorer. Jake has been most helpful with new installations and repairs.Steve is very helpful and knowledgeable in the safe use of firearms. I like the opportunity for members to use the different rental hand guns, especially to have the the chance to use ones own ammunition during this time of shortage.Well done Bullet Ranch

2021-07-10The best indoor range in the area. Always clean and well maintained. Fantastic selection of rental guns, and under normal circumstances, a great selection and pricing on guns and ammo. Jerry and the entire staff always bends over backwards to help you out, and the gunsmith is top notch also. Get yourself a range membership. You’ll love the experience.Daryl S.
