Professional and considerate team - took care of my truck and went the extra mile without complaint. The office stayed in touch with me throughout the process and made me feel like a VIP, and the guys doing the hands-on portion were very attentive to detail. Certainly would use them again. Thanks Kings Body Shop!
I brought my Subaru Forester here after a minor accident two years ago at the recommendation of someone at Kings Subaru. The process was long and drawn out, and took much longer than I was originally promised.During the ordeal they ordered incorrect parts several times. If I did not own a second car at the time, it wouldve truly inconvenienced me, as my insurance would not have provided rental coverage for that long. When I finally received my car, there were several parts still sitting in their original packaging on my floor boards. I inquired but were told they were not needed.Fast forward several weeks and my front bumper (which was replaced) began to separate from the rest of my car. I take it to my normal dealership (Kings Subaru) and come to find out one of the parts was a clip for the bumper! Luckily my service advisor had a mechanic install it and apologized for the previous recommendation, telling me I was much better off going to Beechmont Subarus body shop in the future. I will definitely take that advice!
I had my car towed to this place after I had an accident in November of last year. I will say up front that I do not have any complaints about the actual work that was done to my car, so I will give them one star for the work. Other than that, I have nothing positive to say. When I first walked in, two people were talking at a desk and completely ignored me for a good 3-4 minutes. As I was leaving, I had to remind the girl that she didnt have the key to my car. They had my car for a total of 5 weeks, even though they knew that my insurance was only going to cover the rental for 4 weeks. During those 5 weeks, I did not receive one phone call from these people unless they were returning my call. Every time that I spoke to them, they would tell me that my car was almost done, and then I would wait a few days and call them back again and would be told that they were waiting on something different. When it was finally done, I go in to get my key and to pay for whatever my insurance did not cover. The guy hands me my key, and I ask him how much I owe. He says you dont owe anything, everything is covered. I go to get into my car, and the battery is dead!! I had to call my husband to come and jump my car. I called to let them know that I didnt appreciate my battery being dead, and of course he tells me that its not their problem and that I must need a new battery. Fast forward 9 months to today, and I receive an invoice from the Kenwood Dealer Group for $500 saying that I am over 120 days past due and that if I dont pay within a month, they will start charging me interest!! This place is an absolute joke!! Stay away!!!
My car looked ok when finished but it took over 4 weeks. My insurance company out of Toledo, where I moved from, told them I did not have to have someone from the insurance company come out yet this body shop kept waiting for someone from the insurance company to see my car. They had it for 2 weeks going back and forth with them before they even started on it. In the meantime I’m using a rental car even though my car was drivable. They kept telling me more and more things needed to be done to it. I was going to pay for it myself but after they got done with the estimate I had to put it on my insurance. Once they called me to tell me my car was finished so I made arrangements to take the rental car back only to find out it was someone else’s car that was finished, not mine. I will never use them again. An all around really bad experience with customer service. Even though they did a good job on my car the bad customer service isn’t worth taking it there to be fixed.
I took my Jeep there to get a job that was botched by someone else fixed. Not only did they fix it, it was way less than what I expected to pay and it was done way earlier than expected. Highly recommend The Body Shop. Greg & Nicole are fantastic with their customers.
I really appreciate the professionalism attentiveness and knowledge of the staff here. When the insurance company didnt follow up and follow through the staff here did a great job at doing that on my behalf. I was also surprised that my car was washed and cleaned out on the inside when I came to pick it up. It was as if I had a brand new car. Great job.
Brought a vehicle there on 09/20/2019. I heard great recommendations through associated and via Google reviews. The repair work was done through Insurance, and kings was easy to work with in the beginning. After nearly 3 weeks, the repair work was completed and I was given a courtesy call. Upon first inspection, the work was fairly clean and consistent and we were please to have this vehicle back the way it went out. However, the first occasion of driving at night, the headlights werent very well at all compared to what it was before. Horrible light displacement and shadows going down the road. Impossible to see while driving in the dark without turning on high beams. We immediately contacted the bosay shop of kings auto mall to have them repair the issue. Weeks and weeks of calling led to no avail, and I could never get a call back. This company, like many others is supposed to stand behind their work, and a companies word is all they have. When you take the word back, youve lost the most valuable asset you own. Ive tried very hard to let this get resolved, but it has not gone any further. We have been led fo believe this company will not honor the warranty they state on this website. Ive been in contact with our attorney and will push this as far as it needs to go to get this resolved once and for all. A simple mistake that could be remedied fairly easy is all it is, but this organization would rather back away and skim the profit they originally had. My advice to anyone wanting to use this company is to ask yourself if they will help you succeed or ultimately let you down. I have no doubt in my mind and the minds of our own that this company does great work for the most part, but mistakes do happen and you MUST correct them to stay reputable.
With a handshake, a smile, and a lie to your face this place will work hard to do the least they can.I had a repair here that lasted months longer than it needed to. Then I found out the only did half they job. Then I realized they had damaged my vehicle more. They could not paint match Black. Not black pearl or black sand, but simple non metallic black. It took them two tries. They also cannot paint without adding defects like fisheye which comes from an improperly treated surface. They also cannot: follow a repair procedure, do any part of the job the customer will not see afterwards, or admit to any mistakes. A simple paint and install a part turned into a much larger repair what they damaged and try to hide the damage.Fun Fact: This shop is owned by the Kenwood Dealer Group. Thats the same company that owns most of the dealerships around it. Take your Kings Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, KIA, Mazda, Toyota, Volkswagon, Subaru or Kings Automall Used car to the dealer for a repair? They send it here.Run.
This was the worst customer experience I have ever received. The car took way longer than expected and they kept informing me of a new ready date... However when they missed that date they would not call me to inform me. I had to continue to follow up and ask is it ready yet? Then finally they tell me it will be ready tomorrow promise and it will be cleaned and all ready for you... No that didnt happen it was dusty and dirty. Oh and btw they didnt want to come and pick me up from work to get my car. I had to talk to the general manager to even get a ride to pick up my car. I spend thousands of dollars to get this fixed and would prefer to go ANYWHERE else. They never apologized or took any responsibility for their actions and they most certainly did not try to take care of me.
I schedule with the front desk to pick up my car at six. I thought their hours change recently or something. Drove an hour, got there around 5. They was already close. Had to wait until the following week to get My car. My car took over a month and a half to fix, average take about 2 weeks everywhere else. Im very disappointed in the way they handled the service.
I went in on a Friday to schedule a drop off time to coordinate with my car rental. Drop off the following Monday went smoothly even though I got there before they opened and I got my car the same week on the Friday. I surprised I got it back so quick. Brandy is super sweet and professional. Thanks guys!
By far the worse body shop in the city. Do not take your car here. What should of took roughy a week and a half to complete took them almost 5 weeks. Had to take my car back SEVERAL times after the fact. Manager was extremely unprofessional. Its pretty bad once you listen around and hear similar service experiences.
I would not recommend this place. I work at a kings dealership and was sent here to take a customers car for body work and the cashier was really rude and negative to me when walking in. We also get customers cars back from the body shop after weeks of bringing them in and often times isnt done right and has more problems. Youre better off towing your vehicle somewhere reputable.

2022-05-11DO NOT GET SERVICE FROM THIS PLACE! I came to get an estimate from these ppl on 5/6/22. I had damage to my rear spoiler and I was looking to get it replaced. I met with Mike I believe (and I really didnt like his vibe at all). My estimate came out to be about $1000 because they claimed they would need to paint the part to match my cars color. Something didnt seem right about this so I ended up going somewhere else for an estimate the same day. When I went to this new place, come to find out there are still spoilers in stock in my cars color! So I will be paying less than $650 to repair it!Moral of the story is that this place obviously uses used parts to repair your car and just paints over it or they simply just rip you off. Mike gave me no explanation as to why they would need to paint the part or even tell me whether the part was out of stock in my cars color or not. The amount for the part that was in my estimate (from Mike) was the same amount as if they would have ordered a NEW part. So they either were trying to add paint to the price to rip me off or they were just going to use a used part and paint over it. They are obviously crooked and I am glad that I sensed something was wrong and got a second opinion. Dont even waste your time with this place at all. Theres so many other body shops that arent as crooked as this place!

2022-03-26Our Toyota has a manufacturer defective primer & white paint job. Paint started to come off in sheets on certain parts of the car. The body shop only would repair certain parts of the car even though the whole paint job is defective. They had the car for 3 weeks. They said if other parts of the car start peeling or sheeting than we would cross that bridge when we come to it. We are once again at that bridge. Our paint is sheeting on other parts of the car. So Kings is preventing us from crossing the bridge. They refuse to fix our new paint debacle. Warranty or recall work is back burner work. If its under recall or warranty and to be fixed for free than its not for thee.

2022-08-16First, its unlikely youll get to speak to someone without being put on hold (and forgotten about) or sent to voicemail. Called for help completing a body work job that an out-of-state body shop could not complete due to a part being on backorder. The part in question is $40 and takes less than an hour to install They recommended I contact my local body shop (I bought the vehicle at Kings CDJR, btw) and they would be able to help. I couldnt even get out what I was asking for before I was dismissed. If you need work on your vehicle, go anywhere but here.

2022-02-14I had a piece of wood take out my front grill. Got an estimate and they ordered the part. They called me a month later to tell me the part was in but the price will be about 30% higher. I think they are taking advantage of the inflation and ripping people off.

2021-02-19Got my car back exactly on the date they said it would be done! Technicians were so friendly and they actually repaired both sides of my bumper for FREE when only one was supposed to be fixed! When I was leaving, the very nice gentleman brushed the snow off of my car and made sure I was satisfied with the job they did (I 100% was, it looks brand new!!) Highly recommend!!

2020-06-24I came in with no appointment to get an estimate (which was free of charge) for the roof of my SUV that took a beating from my garage door. Ed was able to help me immediately and was so kind and professional. He was able to seal my roof for a temporary fix at no cost at all. I will definitely recommend to anyone needing body work as everyone I talked to was wonderful! Thank you for the great service!

2020-07-28The Body Shop of Kings Auto Mall is the best auto body shop I have ever done business with. I am a retired Ford commercial truck dealer who served in that capacity for some 25 years. They have been doing all my familys collision work for the past ten years. They are completely trustworthy and everything they have ever done for me and my family has been completely satisfactory. The personnel are competent and professional. The repairs they have made are flawless. The friendliness and responsiveness of management and all their employees has been faultless. I recommend them to all my friends. I would trust them with anything. They are just first class all around. Cant say enough good things.

2018-04-17The body shop did a great job on my car. It looked brand new after the work was performed. I would have given 5 stars if the customer service and follow up was better. I had the same issue as most on here with the customer service. The receptionist was rude and gave us a wrong update on our car that turned into a week long problem. After the body work was completed on our car, My husband drove it to work and on his way home the car was stalling and jumping. The week long problem we were having was that the receptionist told us that our car was sent over to the service department to reset the check engine light on the car. Come to find out the receptionist was looking at the wrong persons information when she told those at our car was in the service shop. I told rich this was a big mistake on her part considering now my engine is having issues. Rich was quick to tow our car back to The Body Shop and give us a loaner car. We were told that they would send it ever 2 kings Mazda service department to have a checked out. Come to find out it was the engine coils blown in our engine and it was a defective part from Mazda. Rich was the only one that I enjoyed working with at the time when we were dealing with The Body Shop. He did a great job on trying to resolve and give me any information or knowledge I could use to help get my car fixed. Long story short Mazda and my extended warranty ended up paying for the engine coils and the damage to the engine. The only advice I would give is get a new receptionist or more training for her. They told me she has been with them for over a year. I told them they need to address the mistake with her and her customer service. All customers deserve to be treated with some type of respect and good customer service and follow up. Overall, I was satisfied with the results of my car and the work that was completed. I added before and after pictures to show the great work they did, but sharpen up that follow up and customer service and you guys could have tons of business coming in.

2022-01-04I hit a deer going through Cincinnati, and this was the certified shop for my vehicle. From the get go I had to be the point of contact, I never once got a proactive response from the company on the progress of my vehicle. I was originally told a few weeks, maybe a little more. It went past that with no calls, so I was forced to call and got the response of another month. This continued for 6 months, due to poor planning and bad parts. If they found something wrong, and the time frame Increased they did not notify, and you guessed it...I had to call even when they had my vehicle completed.Once I picked it up, it was parked outside fully covered in snow and ice( them knowing when I was arriving) so I couldnt fully inspect the work they had done. I live more than 3 hours away. When I arrived home I had time to clean and fully inspect their work, and I found an outward dent, that could likely lead to a crack in the bumper. They should have noticed the dent, not to mention the van was sitting waiting for other parts for at least 3 months after the bumper install. Assuming they did the work according to what I was told on the phone. So the issue was either a minor oversight or bad QA on their part. All and all, if there is a choice, Id say run to the next nearest body shop or certified shop. They will give you the run around for months, because they have more than 50 cars in the shop. Which is not an excuse for poor craftsmanship and a complete lack of customer service.
