I had a good experience with 1 Tree Service. There was a medium sized tree in our backyard which we wanted removed. We received quotes from 3 different companies and 1 Tree not only had the lowest quote but also had the friendliest staff. After we agreed to go with 1 Tree, the office staff was in regular communication in the several weeks prior to the scheduled tree removal. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars was minor damage to our fence which occurred during the removal. One of the large limbs swung and hit the fence, knocking several boards loose. I was able to reattach, however this probably should have been repaired by them when the damage occurred.
The 1 Tree Service was great. They provided a competitive quote for the services I needed and did a great job removing my silver maple, grinding the stump and clearing away all the stump grindings, limb debris, etc.I was worried about potential damage to a nearby landscaped bed, including a fairly old Japanese Maple but they a great job of ensuring no harm came to any of my existing landscaping.They scheduled my appointment about two weeks out from when I agreed to the quote and there werent any delays. Their team was in communication with me throughout the process and didnt collect payment until the job was completed and they ensured I was satisfied with all of the work, which I was.Bottom line: great service, great pricing, great experience.
The office and crew were very professional and friendly. Explained services throughly. Crew made sure to seek approval of the job at hand performed before starting on the next tree. We were very pleased. Reasonable price. I will definitely reach out to them again.
They did a great job with my tree Removal and stump grinding Ben and his crew are very good at their job 👏. Hope he brought the crew lunch. By the way did anybody lose any car key
I would have given five stars except for the fact that they left a couple divots in the yard one was about a foot or two deep and had water in it. They didnt bother to fill it back in. I was also casually talking to one of the workers about the ground and the grass that got somewhat destroyed because of the equipment which I understood but then when I left the backyard I could hear another worker in the backyard talking smack about the conversation when they had no idea what was going on.

Notified me prior to showing up so I could be ready. They were quick and cleaned up very well and seem to have all the proper equipment. My interaction with the office staff via phone (Casey) was exceptional as well. I highly recommend these folks for your tree removal.
They made this so easy!! Office staff was friendly and professional when setting up an appointment for an estimate. Estimator came out quickly and gave a very fair and reasonable price for what I requested and options if the entire tree needed removed and not just the one branch that I needed which was being eaten by ants. Job was scheduled and the crew that came out were again professional and personable. Took off the limb and cleaned up without any issues. A job well done!!!
We had three trees taken down and 2 large maples trimmed. 1 Tree service performed all work safely and cleaned up extremely well afterward, taking with them ALL debris, leaves and limbs. An aspen overhung wiring at the front of the lot, a large catalpa grew between incoming electrical service and the house (I should have taken care of this many years ago, while tree was small!). The large maple in the backyard was quite rotted in many places but they still safely brought the whole thing down, limb by limb. Final bill was as quoted and all work was done in a day. This is the second time I have used 1 Tree Service and I am as satisfied with their work this time as I was the first. Pricing was quite fair and I will use them on the next job!
I received a mailing advertising 150 off tree service. I contacted them and they came out quickly, gave me a reasonable estimate and completed the work within 10 days. They were courteous, professional and cleaned everything up. I would definitely recommend them.
Professional, skilled crew did an excellent job of removing a large spruce tree from my back yard. They ground the stump down and did a good job of cleaning up. You have to schedule them out a bit on the calendar but they show up when they say they will and do a good job of communicating.
I got a quote from 1 Tree Service that was competitive and they were able to meet my timing within ONE DAY of me signing the contract. Joe was communicative and professional and his crew came early and got the job done fast. They were able to remove a large tree from my property that fell and did it in under two hours with excellent clean-up; I dont think they left a leaf out of place. I highly recommend them and will be using them for all of my tree services in the future.
The 1 Tree Service left an advertisement in my mailbox approximately three weeks ago. I called on 11/3/2021 and talked with one of the girls in the office and scheduled a FREE estimate on 11/4/2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM eastern time. The gentleman came out and I explained what was needed and how I wanted the estimates provided back to me. I also explained how I wanted the estimates done when I originally scheduled the appointment on 11/3/2021. Both employees stated that the estimates could be provided as I requested. It is now 11/18/2021 and NO ESTIMATE WAS EVER PROVIDED. Fourteen days later and did NOT here from anybody at The 1 Tree Service concerning my estimates by text, email, or phone.TO THE OWNER of 1 Tree Service:You lost a significant amount of business in 2021 and 2022 because you have two employees that do not understand basic customer service and follow-up. I called your office and left the specifics of my issues with your employee Casey. She also has the employees names that I had to deal with. I used to own a small business years ago and I would want to know if I had employees that were not doing the job that I expected them to do.
We had a tree fall on our house and were in a pinch trying to find a service that could remove it quickly. 1 Tree Service came through for us and exceeded our expectations with exceptional service. They gave us an estimate right away and worked with us in getting a crew to help as quickly as possible. Next time we need help with tree removal or trimming they will be the first people well call.
They did a very professional job at a competitive price. They were on-time, safe, fast,and left the yard tidy. Id use them again.
Used The 1 Tree Service to remove a tree before it fell on neighbors garage. Great service, easy to schedule with for estimate, and schedule for the work. To their credit, they also cut up a maple log that came down in the April snowstorm - it was too big for me to cut up - and they cut it up in pieces small enough for me to burn at no charge to me. They couldve charged me - and I wouldve paid for this too - but they didnt. Definitely will use them again. Great company to work with.
Called for bids from a number of companies to remove a large tree overhanging my house. The 1 Tree Service was by far the most responsive, professional, and friendly, scheduled me quickly for a quote and services, office staff followed up immediately on every inquiry and were very helpful, they had competitive pricing, they provide an easy online invoice interface to select services and pay bills, and the yard was so clean after the tree cutting (not even a bit of sawdust or stray twigs laying about) that you couldnt even tell they had been there. I would recommend them to anyone and utilize their services again

This is the 2nd time weve used this company. Great communication, courteous and efficient, good price after shopping around too. Two thumbs up from here. We had trees pruned, and just had a 30 tree removed and the stump removed.
The 1 Tree Service did an excellent job at tree pruning (both massive and small trees), tree removal (small and medium), and clean up. Their prices were better than other companies I received estimates from (I habitually receive estimates from at least 3 companies). They are very friendly, and do their best to meet your needs. I have used them for two jobs, and will hire them again in the future for a 3rd.I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they have constant communication issues, which can cause problems. Initially my spouse reached out to their office, so her information was on file as the primary and mine as the secondary. It took 6 conversations to get this fixed. Inevitably, I had to request they remove her information completely from their system, which I thought finally took care of the issue. To an extent, it did--all communication now comes to me; however, I experienced a different type of communication issues on the recent work completed. I was informed they were operating approximately 6 weeks out, and they would contact me closer to that timeline in order to schedule service. After approximately 4 weeks, I received a phone call at 8:30 AM indicating they were 10 minutes away. I was working from home, so it ended up being OK, but I did not receive an email, text, or phone call from the office to communicate there was an opening for service and had added me to the schedule. This leads to the 2nd part of the issue. You really should be present to walk through and confirm the job assignment with the team, and to check the work when it is finished to make sure they didnt miss anything--the team is very friendly and will take feedback to make sure you are happy with the job. But, they are operating on the same estimate you receive. If you couldnt pick up the estimate and have it make perfect sense to you from reading it alone, then it wont make perfect sense to them either.Once they fix the communication issue, I will consider them to be a 5/5 company, but until then, its 4/5. Regardless, I would recommend this company for Tree-related services.
Getting an estimate was quick and easy. Scheduling was simple as well. We did receive a call to tell us that they were on the way, however it was well before 8:00 AM. They started working at about 7:40 which is too early for chain saws in a residential neighborhood (IMHO). The workers were very friendly and quick. After asking them to chop off another foot from the top, all was well. They did a fine job!
1 tree service was doing tree removal for my neighbor. popped out and asked for an estimate. they gave a fantastic price and removed my tree that day. speedy and clean.
We would highly recommend. We had one tree removed and 2 others pruned. They were knowledgeable and courteous. They completed the work quickly and thoroughly and above all our expectations, even to the clean up. They were also the most reasonably priced of all our estimates. Excellent service and we are happy with the results.
They were fast and professional. Very efficient operation. They showed up to get started, I got on an hour long conference call, and when my call ended they were gone and other than sawdust in the hole from grinding the stump, there was no trace of the tree. Would recommend.

Had a very big sycamore tree in an enclosed back yard with no access for any big equipment to get into the yard. Called about 7 tree companies to tree to get it removed and only one tree service would do it. Most wouldnt even come look at it. They were professional and did a great job.

Made a decision to go with 1 Tree Service for the removal of a large tree and other trees this year. The gentlemen came out on yesterday and surpassed my expectations. These guys ROCK! They are professionals. Cleaned up the yard, street, and driveway. The stump removals they did was superb. An AWESOME SHOUT OUT to Joe for keeping everything on track with unwanted distractions. The crew showed up and new exactly what they needed to do. The were very fast and efficient. They cleaned up the yard and there isnt even a leaf left. They even fluffed the grass up with leaf blowers and you cant tell they were even there. Would definitely use them again for any of my tree needs.

I contacted The 1 Tree Service and they were able to come out the same day to provide me with an estimate to have a tree removed. Their great crew were back out within 4 weeks to remove the tree. They did an amazing job with the tree removal and clean up. I highly recommend their services.

I have used this company for many tasks in my yard. They are very professional and provide a great service,at a great price!! From my initial call in to the office to set up a time and date for assessment of my large trees in my yard. Overpriced for sure, I put in my info on home advisors and this was the only company to send me a message about a tree removal. I never contacted them back to say I wanted them to come out but they came to my home when I wasnt there and emailed me an estimate to remove the incorrect tree at that. I received an estimate of $4,000.00 dollars from these people to remove 1 tree, but others gave me an estimate less than that to have all 3 on the property removed. Will not be using them at all.
The whole team is great! Everyone was friendly and courteous. You can tell the crew is well trained and know how to work as a team. They worked quickly with an obvious awareness of safety. The 1Tree service met all my expectations.
I had a mess in my yard. An absolute disaster. They worked with me to get out to my property ASAP and they were able to get everything done quickly and efficiently and made sure they didnt tear up my yard in the process. Every employee I spoke with throughout the process was so kind and genuine. They had expected the work to take longer (and more time would mean more money) but they got it done in less than half the amount of time they had anticipated spending at my property. No lagging or wasting time to make more money. Use them!! Its worth every penny.

The three man crew worked together as a team, and did not stop working, from the time they arrived, until the job was perfectly completed. These men are professional and highly skilled.I highly recommend this company for any of your tree service needs. In one day, these guys trimmed two forty foot maples, one 50 foot oak, felled a forty foot ash, and ground its stump. I hired this company to thin out my 150-year-old red oak tree. They did a marvelous job. They were professional, highly skilled and they cleaned up thoroughly afterward. I can recommend them without hesitation.
Why would make a special trip to a customers house to discuss the unsatisfactory job and then proceed to argue with the customer about what was on the estimate and invoice? SMH. We’ll find someone to clean up what should have been done.
Did a great job of saving two large trees in our back yard by removing overgrown ivy - and also gave trees a much needed trimming. Trees are healthy and look great!

2021-08-12Originally I rated The 1 Tree Service as 5 star, but when I had them come out to do some additional grinding to remove roots things were not so great. I had to call three times to get put on their schedule. When they finally showed up to complete the job they clipped my irrigation system with the stump grinder. I thought no big deal, I’ll send pics and we’ll get it taken care of . Instead, they tried to tell me I never informed them of the system, but I did. On top of that it came on while the team was there. Not only that the rep told me that they would have someone to come out an mark the utilities and the irrigation system. When I challenged the “ you never informed us” comment they mentioned oh well it was $100 to have the irrigation system marked and we left a voicemail. Needless to say I was disappointed. The company did such a good job dropping the tree and cleaning up after themselves, I couldn’t believe they played the “that’s on you” card for such a small fix. I called the irrigation company, they sent someone out to fix it and it was less than $100. The 1 Tree Service lost a customer and any future referrals for $100. ✌🏾

2022-04-05Scheduling was easy and polite. Inspection personnel was knowledgeable and helpful and very polite. The actual job, however, was far and above what we expected. They were open to scheduling whenever the weather cleared and wed be home. The crew talked with us on options of removing it from the yard to the chipper with minimal interruptions to our (or our neighbors) landscaping. The entire crew were polite and professional. It was done quicker than we could have imagined, every limb fell where they directed and they cleared the area better than it was when they arrived. It was exception. Will definitely use them again and Ill recommend to anyone who asks.

2022-03-01I received excellent service from the 1 Tree Service. They removed 2 trees for me. Their customer service/communication skills were outstanding and the crew that arrived and did the tree removal (Antonio and crew) was fantastic- very pleasant and very professional. The amount they charged also seemed reasonable for the work performed. I highly recommend.

2022-01-12We were completely satisfied with the service and the professionalism of the Angelina who kept us in the loop of any delays due to weather conditions. We split the cost of the tree removal with our neighbor because of the way the tree hung over our garage. The crew that completed the tree and stump removal was great and completely cleaned up after themselves and was mindful not to damage the property. Will certainly use them again and would highly recommend them for their specialty. Always want to support family owned businesses that do excellent work. Thank again to The 1 Tree Service!

2022-05-06We had extensive tree trimming and stump removal done on our 5 acre property. This portion of our experience was great. Crew was fast, efficient and cleaned up everything well. For that, I would give them 5 stars. The problem was scheduling, which I had to reach out to them a week after the estimate to see if we were on the schedule (we were not). An overabundance of calls and voicemails followed trying to move us around. Then they called us 4 times on vacation (which I told them we were on vacation). Lastly, the crew accidentally bounced a branch and cracked one of our windows. We had to find the window replacement company ourselves and schedule them ourselves. While we were waiting for that to be fixed, we were called at least 8 times asking for 75% of our total to be paid before the window got fixed AFTER we already agreed to pay the full amount once the window got fixed. Once the window was done, I immediately got a phone call with them wanting to change our already agreed upon method of payment.BOTTOM LINE: great tree trimming but be prepared to bothered constantly regarding scheduling/payment

2022-07-19Highly recommend! They did a wonderful job removing the tree and stump. I had specific time specifications and they accommodated everything for me. I ended up keeping too much wood and they came back within a few weeks and collected it for me. Did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. Office staff was very helpful and easy to get ahold of. Overall great experience!
