Only beverages they had to drink was water and unsweetened tea .. the service wasnt bad however at the end there was some sort of issue with the bill and wasnt fully corrected however due to the wait I paid it although I was charged incorrectly and didnt want to wait any longer ...the food tasted different was okay but off.. probably will wait a little while to return let things settle in the new norm
This is for the Mentor location. Called ahead to see how long of a wait and was told there was none. We got there 15 minutes after I called (6:30 on a Wednesday Feb 2). Stood at the checking counter for over 10 minutes and no one acknowledged us. The bartender, who was just talking to someone seated at the bar and a waiter and a waitress saw us standing there. No one said a word. We left and won’t be back.
Great food, reasonable prices, and fast service. My family and I are regular customers of TGIF, specifically that location. We rarely had to wait and if we had to wait, the wait was no longer than 20 minutes. Each location is bit different depending what you prefer to eat but if you are a burger lover then definitely check out this location. Their kitchen definitely honed their skill at making one of the best burgers. Become a member, accumulate points (rather easy), and spend of more food!
I used to go there all the time as a teenager and and the last 3 or 4 times were disappointing. The service staff was very friendly, However the quality of food Has gone extremely downhill. If I wanted microwaved chicken I could have done that at home and not paid $17 for it. The only items that were good were the deep fried items such as their mozzarella sticks. They even messed up a salad.
Had to wait a hour and a half for my food and the appetizer and the food came out at the same time. The waitress had an attitude for what I dont know she gets paid to work there she could have went home at any time Im the one that had to wait for my food and I was polite
I took my 7 year daughter and my family here for her birthday and the manager refused to seat us and he can serve 8 of us but we are a party of 14 i asked if we could sit separately both manager and general manager denied us because she said they were short staffed. I feel like we were racially profiled then they called the police. This place is horrible. My daughter was crying I was so embarrassed
Ive been coming to this establishment for at least 15 years. It is truly sad to see what has come of this place. Barely any food theyre out of absolutely everything there was a wait of 40 minutes minutes when there are only three people dining in the restaurant. One of the waitresses were still high on some form of a drug that she couldnt stand still couldnt make sentences it was overwhelming. I do not recommend this place I do not recommend their food they clear this restaurant has fallen apart due to management and covid.
Got a Full order of ribs and double order of fries and they stuffed them into ONE container barely could close it. Fries got soggy and greasy from rib sauce. They were kind enough to replace. Should never happen to begin with. Also peach iced tea was anything but…if you don’t have it, don’t try and fake it, just tell me you don’t have it. Girl that was doing take out service was nice.
I understand that the menu is smaller because of lack of help. But the chicken sandwich was not even a filet it was processed Tyson chicken. The staff was friendly but the food was horrible. With such little to choose from you think that everything would be cooked to perfection. Would have better off picking a local beer joint
Had an issue with one of our meals tonight but the manager was gracious enough to make it right. Our service was great but unfortunately it wasnt perfect because of the meal so thats why its only getting a four-star. We would not hesitate to go back or recommend to others.
Our server was Heather who was amazing!! Its great to have a server like her with a great attitude especially in these hard times. I had the six cheese tortellini chicken and broccoli which was amazing! My friend had the loaded fry burger with queso and he really enjoyed it.
Disappointed!! Ask to be seated outside which was done promptly and politely. As we entered the patio a Waitress was present. She stood at the only other occupied table on the patio talking with folks, directly across from where I was seated, about high school days for more than twelve minutes and never acknowledged me or my wife for our beverage orders or anything. Upon ending her chat she turned and walked inside, again never acknowledging us. Not sure what was going on … short of help? Not assigned to my table? Only five tables on the patio of which three were empty. We waited but determined this was not the play for us. We were seated at 8:00p but departed at 8:23p. I feel very offended as an African American.
The food here is still decent. But the place seems like a shell of its former glory days. The reason I rated it only two stars is because of the lack of attention by the bar tender.I ordered a tall IPA (they only have one on tap, but it is what it is) and about a quarter of the way through I started noticing a bad aftertaste. Almost like rancid meat? Quite bizarre. Was it the glass? Was it the beer? I dont know. But I left it over half full on the edge of the bar counter and ordered something else. The waitress happily got me that something else and never asked about the first. I, of course, was charged for both, but still gave a 20% tip. First half a beer still sitting right next to my paid bill.This inattention to quality will keep TGIF at the bottom of my goto list. Again, the food wasnt bad, just dont go there to have a beer.
Went and got a rack and a half of baby back ribs and paid 32.00 and some change. I left with no plastic wear to eat with, napkins or no sauce for my ribs. The server that brought my meal was disengaged with what was going on and was in a hurry to get back into the building. This was my worst Fridays visit ever.
I understand being slow with service because of being short staffed. That doesn’t bother me at all.What bothers me is how small the menu is, the food coming out room temp, and the place being dirty. It was weirdly expensive for how little you got and how cool the food was...
Friday’s is handling the pandemic EXCEPTIONALLY. If there was any downside to our visit, I guess it was the 5 min wait while they got a booth cleaned up for us? Not really a downside at all and it should speak volumes to the employees working. Katie at the bar makes the best Long Island I have ever tasted. Our chips were fresh from the fryer and the salsa was delicious. I could go on and on about how phenomenal the food was, but what’s important is how well this restaurant is run from the top down (from about 6:30-7:30pm anyway). Everyone On staff was on the same page, customers were seated quickly, 5 star food quality, and the manager (very nice woman with short blond hair I believe) was extremely nice, professional and accommodating. You all earned our tip and I will definitely spread the word about my good visit.
My 1st time at this establishment will also be my LAST visit. July 4th, my brother & I went for lunch to this restaurant. We had separate checks. Imagine my surprise to check my transactions with my bank & notice that THIS establishment CHARGED/SWIPED my card 3 times. Needless to say, I was NOT a satisfied customer. THIS IS THEFT ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT THIS!!!! IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF FINANCIALLY, DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
While visiting tonight, I came to find out that our waitress was actually from Erie, PAThe staffing was very under staffed, and she came in to help.We were very happy with her!!Not sure her last name, but 1st name Emily.She was fantastic!!I understand the understaffed that is going on, as I and my husband work in the Retail/restaurant business. Emily was super curtious, and should be recognized as a valuable employee.
My wife and I grabbed a bite to eat on our way home. When we got there we were seated quickly, but it took about 20 minutes before we were even served. The waiter was very nice tho. We both ordered the cajon chicken and shrimp. About a quarter of the way through meal, we both noticed that the chicken didnt taste normal. We told the waiter and he took the food back, but we were shocked that no manager or anyone came to the table to see about the problem. Made us think maybe the chicken was spoiled and they already were aware. I know its a pandemic but good service should still be a top priority.
I had a bad experience with the waitress and manager Heidi. They had very bad customer service and seemed very impatient when it came to us ordering food. My friend had to choose from a menu that seemed to not have certain items. They accused my other friend of being drunk because she was indecisive about her order and there was only 1other table than us on our side of the restaurant. Attitudes the two workers had will not get them far. I do not plan on going back to that Fridays. Horrible service and experience!!
TGI Fridays used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but it has changed significantly in past years. The menu hardly ever changes and most all the dinners have the same sides, with the prices signicantly rising. A few meals are excellent, but not consistant in the preparation.
Apparently theyre on a reduced menu, no surf & turf. 6oz Sirloin, What Sirloin? Saw the broccoli & potatoes, almost thought it was coming later. Guess it was a side of steak. I rarely order appetizers, but got the potato skins b/c I was still hungry, that was the highlight of the meal.
Never in my life have I walked out of a restaurant. First we were sat within the 25 mins stayed. That was the only positive part. After being sat we waited at least 10 mins our server came over finally with menus and took our drink order and appetizer order. 5 mins go by he returns to ask what our drinks were again, 2 cokes please. Another 5 mins and another server comes by said she was going to be our waitress now, did we want any drinks? Yes we told the other one 2 cokes. She promptly returned with our drinks. Nice we were getting somewhere. Another 5 mins and our initial server returns to make sure he had our correct appetizer in. Another 10 mins and we noticed a family the sat 15 after us had their appetizers and we had yet to see either one of our servers again to even place our order. What a waste of time. We then proceeded to the hostess stand and asked her to let our server know we were leaving and why.
This was the worst food service I have ever experienced-in my life. No joke. Waitress took our order and dropped off our waters and chips and never returned. That was it. Someone else a half hour later dropped off a wrong order for only one person at our table and then no one ever checked back.... So no one else received food. Our appetizer never came. After 35 minutes of continued waiting, we left. She saw us stand up and never said a thing. Again- worst experience ever, we will never go back.
I come to Fridays when Im really not trying to have a bad time. Like, I always have a good time there. Whoever is serving is always so polite, whether I get a booth or sit at the bar. The parmesan crusted chicken is seriously amazing. Theres plenty of options and great drinks too. I know its a chain restaurant, and there are other places to eat right in the same area, but this Fridays never disappoints with good food and great staff.
Food was good. Felt bad for the waiters/waitresses as they were under staffed. Have concerns with the staff wearing gloves to touch everything from cleaning tables, throwing away placemats, our food, money and their own faces all with same gloves on covered with germs. If you are going to wear gloves they should be changed after each customer interaction. Otherwise hand washing is recommended.
Food was too salty for my taste buds ....Server was professional and polite. Social distancing in place. I ordered chicken Parmesan with ziti pasta. One small garlic bread stick came with the meal. Strawberry lemonade a disappointment but it was hot 🥵and I was Thirsty 🥤so ...
Rudest people I’ve ever met. Nothing but nasty servers and overpriced food that doesn’t even taste good. We came as a group of seven and then seated for 6 and then wouldn’t let us add a chair and then wouldn’t let us split the party because that would inconvenience them. If I could do a 0 star review I would.
My husband & I went to Fridays last evening for dinner. I was extremely disappointed! The music was so loud that I was unable to talk with my husband as he couldnt hear me. I ordered a cheeseburger with very crispy fries. Both were barely warm & the fries were not crisp but limp. The server asked if I would like to have the kitchen make a new order but I said no as my husband proceeded to eat his & he would have been finished by the time I had got my new order. I took a few bites then made myself something to eat when I got home. We eat quite often at Fridays and my meal is usually very good. There were only 5 people at the bar including my husband & myself, & 3 tables with people so the kitchen & server werent busy. Therefore there isnt any reason why this should have happened. There are many restaurants in Mentor to go to however, I do enjoy going to Fridays but I dont want to have another bad experience with my dinner. Im sorry to give a bad review however, I did find it necessary in this instance. Julia
We went to this location due to the Golden Gate location having TERRIBLE food and service. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted and seated right away. The food was hot and delicious. Even though the waitress was new she checked on us and thanked us for being rewards members. It was a much better experience and we will frequent this location in the future.
Server was friendly. Service was slow, drinks were weak & tasteless. Kitchen was even slower. Meals were ready in time to be packed in to-go containers. Also , kitchen staff is unaware of the cooking scale between rare, medium-rare, medium, medium-well, & well done. SO of you desire any type of meat dish ... well ... may you have better luck than we did as a party of 6
The atmosphere was nice. Very warm colors and great food. Sat at the bar and one bartender seemed like she didnt want to deal with us but other kinds of people she was very sweet and talkative with. That threw a complete damper on our monthly moms night out event. The overall experience was a 4 only because of her and treatment.
I love this place! The servers are awesome. The menu has not that much to choose from but what they have on the menu is some good food. I always get a couple drinks every time I go they have awesome cocktails especially during happy hour! It’s a great place to come with friends or even family!
Should jave read reviews first. Bad service. Never acknowledged at the bar by the 2 employees there, too buzy chatting to greet customer. Had to get their attention then the nasty manager Heather told me to calm down. Who wants to be ignored by a businees that takes your money? Now i understand why im the only one at the bar and only 2 tables occupied at lunch time. Burger had so much greese. Nasty. There are so many better resturants in this town.Dont recomend this place
Had a lovely lunch with my daughter and my husband. It was a last minute thing so we just went somewhere close. Fridays was a great choice. We all got the lunch Pick 2 Special. Broccoli and cheese soup with a Asian Chicken wrap, burger and onion rings and onion soup with Asian Chicken salad. We were all pleased with our lunches. Service attentive but not intrusive. Hadnt been to Fridays in quite a while, glad we went.
Not to impressed with any of my visit. Last time I was here was a year-and-a-half ago something was wrong with my dinner and I received this little card for buy a dinner get a dinner if you purchase one and get two drinks well of course it expired and was given to me by a manager who I guess is no longer there now you would think that that would not be an issue but for some reason it was and I got a manager who was a woman with short hair whose energy and demeanor was extremely undesirable should not be in the service industry it was like it took everything she had to let me have that coupon and you could tell she just was not a very happy person. It was my mothers birthday and I have to say the patrons wished her happy birthday the staff did not whats wrong with that picture. Our waitress forgot my drink for over 25 minutes seemed like they were short-staffed I ordered what I always got the sizzling chicken and shrimp the portion size is half of what it was two years ago and the amount of peppers and onions was sad the whole dish was just sad I wont be going back there I dont know what happened to that place but the portions are extremely small so I hope youre not hungry I must add even though everything was poor I still tip 22% as should anybody when going out to eat but they definitely need to do something about the managers with scheduling and teaching their staff just an overall yuck experience the food had good flavor for what it was and the drink was good for being a premix and waiting 25 minutes
When I first walked in the waitresses had us standing and waiting while they talked amongst themselves. When we finally got to a table they were decently fast with serving us. Portions small and expensive but were pretty good for the most part. The first few sips of the tea was AMAZING but towards the bottom it was watered down. Bathroom had flies. I watched the waiter steal $4 out of my change I was suppose to get back then snuck off. To sum up food was good but definitely NOT worth it.
Great service and the food was tasty.We stopped late at night on a long roadtrip. They took care of us even though it was very late and didnt make us feel rushed.The food was great. I wasnt that hungry so I just had an appetizer and my friend had a burger. Both were really good. He said the burger was perfect and mine was excellent. It was a flatbread, but I forget what it was called.I recommend it.
Good food, okish service. The major issue for us was the obtrusive music. If you are there to drink and party it would be fine. If you are trying to enjoy your meal and have conversation with the rest of your party it will be frustrating. We asked if it could be turned down and were told it was on the lowest setting. As I said, the food was good. Arrived hot and correct, and tasted great. The noise was a deal killer.
Food is okay, I usually dont see much of a variation in the menu. (I do miss the mozzarella burger, it was like a big fried mozzarella stick in the middle of a burger.) I usually come here for happy hour drinks. There is an older gentleman bartender thats awesome. Makes great drinks and usually has some entertaining remarks throughout the evening.
One of the most amazing dining experiences weve had in a while, and with a family of 4 adults and 3 young kids thats hard to find. Excellent food, great prices, and very pleasant service. They were very accommodating of the toddlers needs, which is very important to us. The jack Daniels sauce was a huge hit with all of us, and the kids loved the Boba drinks. We highly recommend not only TGI Fridays, but this location especially.
Waited 1 1/2 Hours to get our food. when we finally got our food the steak was over cooked we asked for it to be fixed, we then waited 45 minutes and nothing came out. Finally I asked them to take it off the bill. The food isnt worth the wait and the service is terrible something definitely needs to be done.
Great experience in this clean, friendly Fridays. Some Fridays seem to be going downhill lately, but this one was great! Our waiter, Jimmy, was polite and attentive, and anticipated our needs. Truly an A+ team member. I highly recommend this location. Try the Cobb salad! FANTASTIC!
This is a great location, most likely the best location in Ohio, but some of the order was inaccurate I ordered sesame chicken tenders they gave me boneless wings instead big difference & my potato skins were cooked hard and small I will say my grilled chicken sandwich tasted good.
Not sure the appeal of TGIF and places like it. Been there a few times (not by choice) and its just cheaply made food that doesnt taste great. The prices are a bit high for the little amount of food you get. Its also a bit noisy when they are busy. The waiters get our order wrong every time and seem argumentative. The 2 star is only because it wasnt the worst place Ive been too.
Good and affordable food when eating in the establishment. My wife recently ordered carryout. She ordered before leaving home and still had to wait 45 minutes for her order. The very young manager was nonchalant about my wifes complaints. I will contact the district manager about their carryout service.
I like T G I F.s Anything with the Bourbon sauce is so so good. I had the special 2 for $14.99. I chose 6 oz sirloin w/ parm butter on top (Yum) and half rack ribs w/ bourbon sauce. Was cooked to perfection. Waitress was over the top good, almost too good. Definitely recommend eating here.
Ive loved Fridays, but the chain is certainly struggling through an identity crises and COVID impact.Server quality and food quality have taken a dip. While I cant just write them off, I will treat my visits as suspect until the ship gets righted.FRIDAYS: Youre fighting for survival. Every meal matters. Time to step it up.
The worse experience eating out ever!!!! Waitress was great and let us know grill orders were at least a 30-45 minute wait!!!! Well we all ordered Classic combo which is fried and was as dry as a bone no flavor,tasted horrible will never go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went into an practically empty restaurant asked to seat 10 people and they denied us. Said they could only seat 8. I explained that it was ok but simply asked for the other people to be seated close to or around us and they refused. Will not ever go there even after covid.
Food took forever then was wrong. Burger was greasy, not cooked well done and had sauce on it that i asked to be taken off. Young guy manager seemed annoyed when told. He never apologized. Fries were cold. Waitress was nice but over all bad experience. Did not like manager at all!
This place is ok. Just found out they dont have my California sandwich anymore that I used to always get. Best thing on the menu is anything with Jack Daniels sauce on it. The all you can eat apps sound like a deal but they get your 1st 2 plates out fast then you dont see the server for awhile. We once spent 2 hours there to only get 4 plates when we did that. I think they are trained to not come around that often when somebody orders endless apps.
Went for dinner last night. We are visit regularly to the Mentor Ohio location. Excellent service from our waiter Bobby. He was new but took very good care of us. My rib eye was over cooked. The cook said it was due to the meat being thin. A good cook can judge a medium rare steak by touch! the replacement steak was awesome. We will ask for Bobby the next time were there!!
Stopped in for a bite to eat. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server Randy. My husband ordered the parmesan crusted chicken. When it was served, one of the two breasts was bloody and undercooked. Server was pretty lackluster and unapologetic. Although she did have the chicken remade, nothing else was said. In my experience as a server in the industry for 30+ years, it is customary for a member of management to run ANY refire back to the table. I was not expecting a comp as I understand things happen, but it would have been nice to have the manager check back to make sure my husbands meal was satisfactory etc. as undercooked chicken could have made him very sick, and is unacceptable. Experience overall was subpar and we wont be returning.
Note to self: wings are disgusting. They used to be good until they changed them to what seems like the legitimate frozen Fridays wings you can get at Giant Eagle. Absolutely atrocious. Our server was FOR SURE on drugs, he could barely speak. And the draft beer was extremely flat ......good job, Fridays! Definitely not the place I used to visit often when I was a kid. 🤢
Horrible service! Serving staff all stood around and talked to each other rather than helping guests. Sorry, we should not have to get up from our table to interrupt their conversation to get our servers attention for a refill on soda. The soda that took 15 minutes to get to our table the first time. Wrong dipping sauce for an order of boneless wings and an additional order was brought out that we never placed. Overall very inattentive service, we will not be coming here again. Seems that no matter which Friday’s you walk into now the service is awful. I can deal with decent food that is slightly overpriced but horrible service I cannot.
This is a great place to eat at the food was made to perfection an the service was spectacular an because of the covid-19 every staff member wear a facemask to make everyone feel safer as well as social distancing for all customers seats were blocked off but it still felt lively at the same time I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone whom wants a great meal prepared for them or their families an the also have orders to go if you dont have time to seat an eat
Free food does not excuse POOR SERVICE. I wish it could rate less than 1 star. Girls Night out was an absolute disaster because our waitress Brianna failed to submit the entire order. When my friends were served, i sat watching because my food never came. Rather than explain her error, our waitress refused to come to the table -now 20 mins after my friends were served. We flagged down another waitress and she was very rude and unapologetic. Manager showed up after maybe 15 mins...still no food for me...RUDE as ever with only the message that the order would be removed from the bill and that the waitress was HUMAN and she made a mistake. Excuse me, but I think that I am also human, and a hungry one at that. The party at another table who arrived after us and ordered the same thing and were SERVED before me, stopped at our table on their way out to express their contempt for how we had been mishandled. This was the worst service Ive ever received.
Ive been to this particular TGI Fridays several times in the last few months and while the food is okay for the price, most of the wait staff is rude, or never comes back to check on you (refills, dessert, etc.) except when they bring the check, and is very slow and actually bringing out the food. Even the management seems to not care much about these issues. Im sure not all the staff is like this but definitely turned me off to the establishment for the foreseeable future. Which is too bad, because the food is decent and at a good price.
The food is not consistent. One time it was great, another not good. Ordered my steak med well. It came out med rare. Blood all over plate, my fries were soaked in blood and grease. Sent it back , came back about the same. Did not even eat my meal at all, was nauseous by now.
Ordered a steak cooked medium there was no pink in it at all sent it back got a new steak it was even worse . Barely ate any of it and the waitress wasnt even going to remove it from the bill. I know what youre thinking you dont go to fridays for a good steak but come on mean you cant even Cook it right.
Negative experience. Decided to visit the Mentor location as I had very small portions for the price the day prior from Mayfield Heights location and thought service and food would be better. Entering the restaurant, normally a host will open the door as guests come in, well the host approached the door to open but once she saw my daughter and I, backed away from the door leaving us there. I have no issues opening my own door but I know Fridays usually greet customers this way and was surprised at the rude treatment. We still decided to dine in. Once seated a nice waitress took our drink and food orders and we received our waters 20 mins later, soup 10 mins after that, and food another 15 mins after the soup while guests who arrived after us received both drinks and food before us. Our orders were not correct and missing items but was hot. We did not complain to mgmnt hoping it would get better. We were checked on only once during our time here and had to keep reminding the waitress. Bad service from the start I should have just ordered out. Either way Im done with fridays here in Cleveland.
Giving this place one star is being generous! Obviously, not ALL TGI Fridays are the same! Weve been to many and have always enjoyed the food...until this place. If this was the first Fridays restaurant we went to, we would never go to another! I ordered the buffalo chicken bacon flatbread and was speechless when the waitress placed it in front of me. If there was any bacon on this item, then it had to be a small... extremely small sprinkling of bacon bits. As far as the shredded chicken goes....almost non existent. It reminded me of wheres the beef?. I have gotten chicken flatbreads at other Fridays and have always enjoyed them. They were worth the $12 they charge. This one wasnt worth even $5. I wont even go into my husbands quesadilla with some sort of uncooked mystery meat. To say the least, STAY AWAY FROM THE TGI FRIDAYS MENTOR LOCATION!
We get there and order drinks they came back in a timely matter. We ordered right away no appetizers. I finished my drink my husband his and he didnt come back. Then when I went to secure the lid on my two years cup it cracked and soda spilled. Again my waiter is no where to be seen. I then get up and go over to the register and get napkins where my waiter is standing. He says nothing so at all. After about 40 minutes he comes over and says he never put our order in! He says my manager is covering the bill for you. We decide we want the food to go and some how still took another 25 minutes to get the food! Now my daughter is freaking out and hungry. It was terrible we will NEVER go back 2nd time we go here and recieve terrible service.
Normally I would give 5 stars; however I had a bit of an unsettling experience tonight. Ordered the loaded bacon nachos and requested they not serve it with the jalapeno peppers on top. The waitress brought my order with peppers, advising that they are not allowed to change the order from what is offered on the menu. Yes, it was simple to take them off when I received my meal. However I was extremely surprised as I had never before had a waitress tell me they are not allowed to remove one of the items from the order.
The food was burned and the waitress had an attitude.I will never come here again and the pop was not carbohydrated like it should be. Our bill was $37.64 and we gave the waitress $40.64 and the waitress gave us $2.35 and she was supposed to give us $3 so I most definitely wont be coming back here.
Lets see where to start well I dont know my server name I order a drink which was horrible she said oh yeah thats not a popular one are wings wasnt done I ordered the chicken parmesan which came with alfredo the noodles wasnt done she walk pass us seven times before she ever brought my replacement drink back Im not sure if they are short of staff or its just going down hill but it was not a great experience at all probably not going and I order my lemonade to go never seen it and to think we wait a hour and this was the end result the bill got fixed she say but I would of preferred a decent meal and better service
Food was very subpar. Ordered parmesan crusted chicken. The chicken was burnt and dry. There were fruit flys flying all around our table on our food and drinks. Waited over 20 minutes to take our drink order and over 25 minutes for a burger and chicken dinners. Very disappointed..
I just called this establishment, told them they screwed my order up not putting sauce on my order. The manager had the audacity to question me like the kitchen staff has never made a mistake. Im from out of town and frequently come here with large parties, however, I had a small order, but it was crowded so I could understand the mistake. I will never come back here.. thank you for your horrible Service. Btw, I asked if I could bring the receipt, she gave me rudeness!
Horrible service! Our waiter took our orders and then kept avoiding coming back to our table. So we had to flag down other waiters for our needs . A different waiters took our food to another table . The original waiter we had left dirty dishes on the end of our table. Food wasnt great for what we paid . Whole experience made me wanna ask for my money back . I wont go back 🤢🤮
A lot has changed with this chain, dont know if its privately owned and operated or if corporate is just ignoring this location, but this place has 0 personality and below average service now! My bill was $83, I still gave a $17 tip to the server, because I used to be a server! TGIF (NOT SO MUCH)👎
Worst service ever and will never come back to this location . If you want fridays that bad go to the mayfield one . Staff is rude here . Went here almost a year ago on a wednesday at 3pm, 4 tables in restaurant, 2 servers . We waited 15 minutes, no server . Hostess ended up taking drink order, one server gave them to us, never returned . So we sat at the bar where 2 chicks were throwing an empty bottle at each other and the manager kicked us out simply because we asked for a server.
Waited 40 minutes for an appetizer. The server and host were openly arguing in front of customers. The server was rude when asked for updates about the food. Ended up just paying for drinks and leaving. This was at 3pm so by no means a peak time. The water tasted like rust and was undrinkable.
Food is decent but just watch make sure your food is done all the way and make sure theres no syringes in your food either. Somebody that I work with knows a couple of the cooks and most the cooks their use heroin so half the time theyre high cooking your food so Please please please watch yourself
Order the bacon burger comes out after about 20mins of waiting and they were not busy at all. The bottom bun was soggy and nasty. For the price of the burger not worth it. Go around the corner to stadium bar and grill bigger and better burger with no soggy bun for the same price and no wait even when they are busy.
Came with 4 people, only 1 ate their food. The rest of us had to send ours back. Food was cold/old which was surprising because they were not busy AT ALL. Even the spinach dip appetizer was cold and the spinach was a horrible texture like it had been frozen and thawed too many times... second bad experience here most definitely will not go back.
Our service was not good.. seemwd to be under staffed right during dinner hour, some of the food came out hot and some came out ice cold.. the waitress seem overwhelmed. We were thinking of having my daughters rehersal dinner here, but after the experience tonight will have to rethink this.
Now I was a weekly customer at FRIDAY’S IN STOW, OH. I recently moved to the Mentor, OH. My family and I visited Fridays in MENTOR, OH on Saturday August 25, 2018. It was the WORST visited I had in my life at 34 years of age. First, which was okay is the 25 minutes waiting time to be seated no big deal. BUT here is now it was downhill. They finally sit me and my 2 children at are seats. Its took 5 minutes before a waiter even spoke to us. Poor customer service. He greeted and stated “did your waiter finally come and wait on you” I said no. He said “okay I will go and get him”. Then he came back then said Okay I will wait on you. Okay, SO I gave him my order. Okay. SO I requested to speak to the manager name Heidi. Heidi approaches the table, and said how I can help you. I stated to her why there was a reason for a waiter to wait on us. She poorly stated that she didn’t know why. I express to her that I was a business owner myself and the waiters have an assign table in a particular section in the restaurant which they should know what tables are theirs. Heidi stated that this section was the bar area and the waited rotate tables. Okay. MORE DOWNHILL, so Heidi stated is there anything I can do for you. I stated “yes” if she could bring my son food out first because my 16 months old son was crying. Heidi bought my son kids meal which was macaroni and cheese with fried which the plate was hot but the food inside the dish was COLD. WHAT. FINALLY , I waiter came back 5 minute later he said IM SORRY FOR THAT and bought so more Marconi and cheese for my son. HERE IS THE WORST SO the waiter bought out the entrée only 1 entrée. I stated I order Cajun chicken and Shrimp Pasta for my daughter and I. I stated that there are 3 people at the table why would you bring 1 entrée for a table a 3 people. NOW he had good customer service she should have read back my order 2 or 3 times to make sure he had the order correct but he didn’t. Plus the 1 entrée did not look like my normal Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Pasta which is my normal order when I visited a Friday’s Restaurant so I refused the order. So Heidi stated well I took care only of your bills. Hello, 5.69 kids meals which she tried to serve to my 16 months old son. THEN, Heidi stated to me (parent) that are child was being very disruptive in the restaurant. I STATED HOW, “HEIDI STATED WELL YOUR CHILD WAS CRYING IN THE RESTAURANT”. CLEARLY FRIDAYS IS NOT A FAMILY RESTAURANT AND SURELY NOT A CHILDREN UNDER 2 YEARS OLD. WORST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE.
TGI Fridays has gone downhill from what it use to be. It was one of my best high school memories, meeting at Fridays after the football game, great food and atmosphere. Now, the food, variety and portions are terrible. The seating is also bad, too open and a feeling like I am packed in like cattle. Such a shame what this chain has become.
We found our selves there after tryn another restaurant which had a waitn time of an hour or more .... It was fairly busy.... Our server seemed quite busy so much so that I felt the need to remind her we was here and needed drinks refilled... ALSO my food was served BURNED!!! It smelled and tasted burnt.... I ordered the 2 for $15 meal which includes two meats as main course....my parmesan crusted chicken was burnt on one side and my 1/2 rack or ribs was dry with NO sauce on it AT ALL.....needless to say we was given that dinner for free BUT it seem like if their staff was trained in HIGH VOLUME patronage this wouldnt happen.... PLEASE train STAFF and linecooks for HIGH VOLUME patronage.....

2022-05-18I doordash and whether I am picking up an order for a customer or dining in myself this Fridays has always taken ridiculous amounts of time. They are one of the slowest restaurants that I’ve ever delivered from every single time and I have also always had to wait way too long dining in. The reason that they had to put the sign up is because they are literally so slow, considerably slower than they are supposed to be.

2022-05-06I visited Tgif Mentor 5/5/22 I ordered the white cheddar broccoli soup and it was brought out ice cold... then my meal, the sizzling chicken and shrimp came out without shimp.. when they brought it out separately it was burnt and my chicken was so dry it also had a burnt taste. Had to send the whole meal back!! Sad to say I will never revisit this location.

2022-06-03If you order online, the Im here button doesnt work and they dont bother to check, even if you give a 20% tip for curbside pickup. All of my food was cold even though I was told it wasnt ready for long. Also, they packed the oreo madness with the 1lb fry appetizer. Its a soupy mess.

2022-03-19Came here for my birthday dinner service was horrible, food was cold & staff was not at all attentive to us. we were never asked how our food was and there were at most 5 other tables in the whole restaurant. very disappointed as it is one of my favorite restaurants.

2022-06-23Went here with a friend, order my steak medium rare...came out beyond well done, when i told the bar tender she just kinda looked at me like i was stupid. Then to top it all off she charged my card for my buddys meal, and charged his card for my meal. Havent ate here in awhile and today reminded me why i dont anymore. Severly dissapointed.

2022-04-13The food didnt have a taste to it and the potato skins were crunchy smh 😲 I didnt like it at all .. I didnt complain but Im never eating there again . I knew we should have went to Applebees where everything is always good.

2022-06-09Very dirty. The seats and walls were dirty. The menus looked like they had never been wiped well. Thankfully the dishes looked clean. Im hoping the kitchen was clean because we did eat the food.

2022-03-07Our poor server looked so scared the entire time, even though our food came out wrong and drunks took 20 min we still treated him with respect and tipped well.. The chicken was dry and rubbery nothing like I remember. My daughters burger looked like a hockey puck. Very unhappy
