Texas Roadhouse in other cities:
By far our favorite steak house when it comes to chain restaurants. Even as busy as they were we were seated pretty quickly and service was prompt as usual. Even with this crazy inflation our bill for me, the wife, and our two kids was only 60 bucks....no appetizers and kids shared a regular menu meal...not bad to most places today. This is by no fault of theirs but parking kinda stinks...its always packed and with all this snow piled up everywhere that adds to the parking issues. All in all a good place to grab dinner !
My boyfriend and I went here for Valentines Day 2022 and everything was AMAZING!! The food, perfect. The ambulance, ON POINT. Above all else, our server Daniel really made the experience amazing. He was so kind, courteous, and took the time to show us true hospitality and made us feel comfortable.
We had a long wait, for a table of 7. Over an hour. When we were seated, it took an hour and a half to get food, but they brought the kids food out first, so by the time our appetizer was gone and kids food, it made the whole dining experience ill timed. It felt like for a dinner rush, they were so unprepared, they left our drinks empty, one being coffee, it was rough. Nice attitude, but does it make up for feeling forgotten? Maybe it was overly busy and we didnt notice, but we did see smaller tables come and go before a steak was brought out for us. (Med Rare.)
First time at this place, put myself in the wait list on line walked in and was seated no more than 5 min later 👍 our server was Katerina, she was wonderful and friendly, def made our experience a positive one. Food was awesome, from the appetizer combo, to my salad, and the slab of Ribs were amazing. Will def come back.
Food had no flavor. Their version of a blooming onion was crispy but no taste. My steak was ok. The ribs had decent sauce but the meat was blah. My wifes chicken was boring and flavorless. Definitely regret going there for my 50th birthday. Asking us to wait outside for a table in 95⁰ + temp was laughable, stayed inside.
I love Texas Roadhouse!!! They never disappoint. Today my husband and I went for our Anniversary dinner and I have to tell you for all the years we have been going, today was the absolute best steaks we had. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for the BEST Anniversary dinner ever!!!!
I haven’t been to this place in years as I don’t eat out much anymore. Got a gift card for Christmas so figured what the hell. Did an online order at 6:50. Was told to show up at 8 because they were busy, for pickup. Sat there for 40 minutes and finally got the text for my food. My chicken is raw. I mean don’t get me wrong I remember really liking this place before, and the wait isn’t even an issue for good food, but when I get raw chicken and am forced to wait that long, something isn’t right. I’d expect to at least receive good quality for that long of a wait.
The Niles location is very hit and miss lately. The wait times are seriously ridiculous. Over an hour to get seated only to finally get in the place and there are 10 empty tables. We had a great server once we got seated tho. And the food??...well sometimes its a miss too but usually we get a good meal. I did have an issue with my steak last night but management made it right with us so that was appreciated.
I love this place, truly! My only complaint is the wait time, your told 30 minute wait. Then find out a half hour later it will still be a 40 minute wait. For just 2 people, we waited for a total of an hour and 15 minutes before we were seated..... I think they need a better system... I love your margaritas and filet mignon!!!
Well we have ordered here many times with no problems with the order pickup until today. The order was a half hour late. My wifes steak was overcooked. My sons hot dog was cold. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with everything and all they gave me was meat and cheese. If you order from here make sure you check the food before you leave because you may get home to find out you didnt get what you ordered.
We ordered online and got a fort worth ribeye and a sirloin and shrimp combo. The Fort Worth Ribeye was asked to be rare and we got it almost uncooked. The Sirloin was rare when it was asked to be medium rare. The shrimp that came with the Sirloin was tough and very salty. The fries, tater skins, and other sides were good. The only downside about these were that we specifically asked for no bacon and received bacon on them. Just very disappointed in this experience, we have never had this happen at this location.
Rolls were burnt... ordered only butter on baked potatoe but brought with sour cream, ordered no onion on chili, came with onion and ordered med filet and came out rare. Usually service and food good so not sure what was happening this particular night???...oh and 4 loud birthdays... Im all for this tradition but by the 4th one is was pretty annoying...maybe I was annoyed cuz our meal was so messed up...oh well....
Waiting in the parking lot of the restaurant because they have no place inside to sit and wait!! I have never been to a restaurant where they don’t have a place to wait! And it’s a hour wait!!!! Normally I would not wait like this but this is where my wife wants to eat! I truly don’t think this place is that good. Not have a place to wait inside is unbelievable!!!! Never come back!!!!!!!!!
Dinner slapped, steak was amazing. The couple behind us and the couple next to us didnt get their food until after my girlfriend and I did, due to their orders getting lost, but I had a wonderdul time. Enjoyed the yeeehaws for all the birthdays people were having.Felt kinda bad that I was having such a good time when people were visibly disgruntled around us and watching us eat though. 😬
Delicious food, friendly and attentive service! I was in town visiting family over a holiday weekend. Despite how very busy it was, our server was on top of everything and didnt miss a beat. Plus, she had an upbeat and friendly attitude the entire time! The food was also delicious and came out in normal time even despite how busy it was in there. I would definitely come back again when Im up that way.
Another great experience at Texas Roadhouse! Our waitress, Skylar, was excellent, along with rest of staff. The food was great and cooked as requested with the wait just as expected. We have been here many times and as long as we keep getting this kind of service and food we will continue. We used the new app to request our party of 6 and had zero wait. It was a Tuesday but it was during dinner hour. Thank you Roadhouse for great food and experience!
Food is amazing. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Very comfortable environment. Never a problem with the servers. Theyre always asking if you need anything or a refill. Fun place to be. You may think its pricey when you look at the menu, but once you get your meal your like wow, okay I understand the price now. I usually also have to take home the rest of my meal from how much you get. Try it out, and you will have a great time and great meal. - Mikey Freds
Awesome service, which is hard to come by since restaurants have reopened, which has been a while! Great atmosphere, service, and the best NY strip steak Ive had at any restaurant!! Great job everyone, you are greatly appreciated by me!! So if youre looking for yummy food 😋, I highly recommend that you give them a try. Keep up the great work!!
UPDATE: Waited 40 minutes for overcooked steak. The service well well below average. Bill was incorrect as we were overcharged for drinks. Its now April 2022 and they still dont let people wait in the lobby. What is wrong with this place?Wont be returning any time soon.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Food was well prepared aside from my salmon swimming in a pool of butter but service was marginal at best.On top of all this, their call ahead seating on their app is horrible! You check in on the app, then they tell you to text them when your entire party is here, then you receive a text to come in, only to be told to go wait in line. Absolutely horrible customer service! They need to take a lesson from Outback.
Food was good. Service was terrible. Took 10 minutes for our table to be greeted, the server “Alyssa” reeked of cigarette smoke and clearly cared more about taking smoke breaks than tending to her table. The amount of butter we were given for our rolls was equivalent to the size of a penny. Sat for 15+ minutes with empty glasses and was never asked how our food was or if we wanted to order drinks. Did not tend to us until we were FINISHED with our food. Completely ignored us the whole time and tended to her other tables while we sat waiting for service. Despicable service and it’s a shame cause Texas Roadhouse has always been a go-to place.
Im not normally one to complain about places I go out to eat at but this is the WORST! experience I ever had at Texas Roadhouse, To start off our appetizer took almost 50 minutes to arrive to the table then after that our server kept forgetting to refill our drinks. Then she was having a powwow add the register with the rest of the servers as busy as it was. Then by the time our food came to our table everything was cold.
The waitress forgot my appetizer I wanted chicken with the bone and she never said that they didnt sell chicken with the bone anymore they discontinued it 3 months ago and when she bring the food out I said what is that oh oh its your chicken I said where I come from that is called chicken breast the waitress didnt know oh I thought you knew if I would have known I wouldnt know order that so I rejected everything and she trying to pawn me off what a free appetizer coupon and I did not want
I enjoy this place every time steak is my choice for dinner. Whatever choice you decide on the staff deliver a tasty meal and are prompt, attentive and always friendly. These people seem like they enjoy what they are there to do...make you happy that you stopped in to eat! I dont remember the name of the bartender who serve the 3 of us but she was great.
A rather long wait due to reduced capacity because of Covid-19 social distancing, but well worth the wait! Our server was very friendly and attentive. The blooming onion was cooked perfectly and not raw in the middle like so many Ive had. Our food was perfect and the steaks were cooked exactly as we had asked. Great job staff and management!!!
This is probably they worst Texas Roadhouse I have ever been to. The service was terrible. My wife got a rare sirloin and they gave her one well done. Our friend also got a wrong cooked steak. The waitress was all over the place and messed up drinks and forgot drinks. We waited for over an hour for food. The only reason why I am giving two stars instead of one is, they did fix the food and they were busy. Still not much of an excuse.
Best steak 16% NEW YOUR STRIP STEAK MELTSIN YOUR MOUTH AND THE BREAD HOT AND BUTTERY SWEET EXCELLENT AND SALAD WITH EVERY THING WITH BLUECHEESE PERFECT AND MASHPOTATOS AND GRAVY WELL WORTH YOUR VISIT ! THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER TO TEXAS ROAD HOUSE ! AND OUR WAITRESS ! WAS THE BEST BLOND HAIR SORRY BUT I FORE GET HER NAME BUT SHE WAS THE BEST ONLY ONE PROBLEM WE HAD BOOKED A PARTY OF 8 BUT FOR 4.30 PM BUT THE MANAGER DID NOT SEAT OUR PARTY TOGETHER HE SAID THE TABLES WERE RESERVED ! BUT THEIR WAS ONE TABLE INFROUNT AND 1 OPPEN TO OUR SIDE BOTH EMPTY FOR ABOUT 1 HAFE HOUR WHILE WE JUST STARTED EATING ! So WE COULD HAVE AT LEAST CLOSE BUT THEY SEATED THE OTHER HAVE OF OUR PARTY OUT OF SIGHT ! BUT FOOD IS AWSOME AND THE WAITRESS SHE WAS AWSOME AS WELL
The shift manager was very rude and ignorant. She made it a point to talk about her yrs of expirence and all the things she has done to get where she is. For example she spoke about sweeping floors and wiping down tables. Saying she has never had a problem with doing so, but, had a huge attitude when stopped to be asked if someone could wipe the booth off because it was still wet or the look she gave when we told her their was food on the floor which was being stepped in. She treated us as if we were just looking for a reason to complain. The reason I feel that way, another customer complained about food being on the floor under their seat as well and she handled it completely different. When confronted about her actions she addressed it with the most smug smirk on her face. We watched 3 other tables come in after us, order food and recieve their food before us when we had already ordered our food at least an 1/2 hr prior to the other tables coming in. When asked why we hadnt recieved our food she smirked an begin to make excuses as to why we hadnt. Such as oh we only have 2 cooks and it just depends on who gets the order 1st, an 1 of the steaks wasnt all the way done so we had to put it back on. Well that would make sense especially if their was suppose to be 6 well done steaks and 1 medium well but Im just curious to know why the other meals werent brought out instead of just sitting there getting cold. Now I will say we were not charged for our meals but we did leave hungry and without the chance to celebrate our moms birthday. Which is why we chose to go there to begin with. I understand that times are different and can be difficult due to the shortage of staff but their is no reason why we shouldve left there feeling like the manager on duty took pride in allowing us to leave dissatisfied or that she took pleasure in seeing us do so.
Food was fresh out the kitchen but it was way too small for the price. I ordered the herb crusted chicken and it was barely the size of my hand. Plus to make matters worse it was slightly overcooked and thinner than my hand! I had to order a meal to go because it just wasnt enough. You need to tell your customers how much meat theyll be getting with their meal somehow.... extremely disappointed.
Was at Niles Texas Roadhouse this eve with niece and a friend. Wonderful food, service, experience. Our server was Taylor and she was a delight. Great personality and just took excellent care of us. Was a goodbye dinner for niece who is moving to Fl. and Taylor helped make it a great evening.
We come here a lot.The food is always amazing. The wait staff is always friendly and on the ball.Ive never had a negative experience and I know its our first choice when we are thinking about eating out.And judging by how busy they get, that is probably the same thought process for most people in the area. That would be the only complaint I could come up with is how long the wait time is. But you cant fault them for that. Only thing you can do is get there early and get your name on the list.
The food i ordered tonight was absolutely TERRIBLE the steak taste like it was rushed with no flavor, my steak was a 12oz well done I got home cut into it and it was nothing but pink it turned my stomach, I had to finish cooking it in my oven. And also had to reheat the baked potato in the oven because it was cold. The only good thing about my meal was the rolls and the broccoli everything else was horrible. 😔
We have never had a bad experience at the Niles location for Texas Roadhouse. Our most recent visit didnt change that. My wife and I went out with my brother and his wife. My brother and I picked out our 18 oz ribeye steaks from the counter up front. We both ordered our steaks medium and they came out cooked to perfection. I added grilled shrimp along with my two regular sides. The food was delicious, the service was awesome, and the facility was clean. We had a great time. What more could you ask for?
I got the ribeye steak dinner and it was great. The steak was juicy, tender, cooked to order and season just enough, not too heavily. It was very very good Id say. The sides were big enough and tasted just as good. I usually try not to give in to the temptation to order a steak dinner to go because most of the time it seems they dont care if the steak is cooked to order cuz you arent there to complain about it. But they got it right to a T this time so good on them.
Good food, great butter for rolls, goes good with broccoli believe it or not. Waitress was very nice and good at her job. Timing for everything was good. Not long waits. Good upkeep on table. Steaks we got were a little under size for what should be there 23-25 oz. But over all no complaints
This was the first time I had to send my prime rib back because it was well done instead of medium rare but the manager made it right for replacing it with a rib eye that was cooked correctly. The service was good and the waitress and manager were very apologitic about the steak. Will go back as always. Truthfully, I would rather go to Texas steak house instead of outback!
Our steaks were cooked to perfection. It was our very first visit for our 48th anniversary and our very first visit to a sit down restaurant since the pandemic. Our salad order was wrong, our potato order was wrong and we didnt get the extras for our steak. They brought everything out finally, but nothing was hot. We had to wait too long to see our waitress for a refill on our water. I was disappointed at the service and attention to details.
We was very unhappy . The service is getting worst. Each time we visit this place. We understand with covid that things change. But when the girls are just standing around talking instead of doing their jobs. We have a problem with that. We chose your restaurant. We can go anywhere. When we dine we are now on our time. I truly believe that you people are milking this covid excuse. We dine at many different restaurant s and dont get treated like your place. When we go inside and find many tables empty. And the girls find it more important to finish their conversation with each other. Rather then getting us seated and fed. Each time we dine here the service is getting worst. We noticed the last time the tables were not being cleaned and ready for the next customer. Three tables by us. Was empty and no one cleaned them for over over 20 minutes. Another reason that us paying customer s sit outside . WAITING. BUT IT S OK. WE WILL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE 🤠
Food fantastic as always. However there is no point in having call ahead seating if when you get there you have an additional 45+ minutes of waiting to be called in just to wait some more. There has to be a more efficient way. Server was fantastic again food is always amazing.
Called ahead for 1 :45 know ill still wait maybe 20 minutes or so waited till 2:30 then my husband with is a disable vet went in to wait first by door and they said we were next well we werent at 2:45 sat by check in desk and was told very nastlely that we should wait in our car and that she would allow my husband n I to sit there. The food was very under standard of Texas road houe restrooms were horrible. May have second thoughts about coming here again oh n by the way we finally got in just before 3
Only problem was it was raining hard that day and our table was under a leak and they still sat us there. They wiped up the water and sat us down. They should have moved the table or just shut that spot down. If leaky roof water would have gotten in our food that would have been a huge problem and a health violation. Our waitress was kind and food was great but getting leaked on by the roof was not a plesent experience for the amount of money you spend there..
Texas Roadhouse is the best place Ive ever ate. This was my first time ever being there and the service was great, very friendly atmosphere, i ordered the ribs and they were fantastic the meat fell right off the bone. Very good food. I cant wait to go back and prices were not bad either.
Every time we do carryout here something is wrong with the order. Its generally $100+ order, so I understand it is a lot, but thats what we are paying and tipping for is a service. I have to spend almost another hour here after my pick up time. To check the order, and when its missing something I have to wait for them to cook it. The rest of the food sits in the car and gets cold.
The Texas Roadhouse in Niles Ohio. A very nice Restaurant to eat at with your family or significant other. The salad and steaks are delicious. The Restaurant staff are very nice and helpful. The Restaurant is very clean and nice. The Restrooms are clean and Well maintained. Been going to the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant many of times and never get disappointed.
We always sit at the bar and LOVE it! I had a really bad headache and our bartender came over with some headache medicine. The food...is the BEST most delicious mouth watering food you will ever eat. I love their filet mignon and my other half, he gets the T-bone steak. Delicious and #1 customer service in our book!!
Well the 5 star rating says it all. From the moment my wife and i walked through the doors to the time we exited the building we had not one complaint. We have been customers for some time now and its always a Great experience. And if it was a 10 star rating well a 10 star it would be. Hats off to a wonderful staff and thank you all!!!
We just had a dinner with some friends. Our server, Tara, was amazing. She was very friendly and positive. She remembered a lot about us and checked in on us as much as she could. We were able to joke around with her. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. Especially with all that is going on and them having to wear masks and handle patrons, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it.
Selected a nice prime rib medium hot pink center , steak came out well done, my wife ordered a medium hot pink, came out medium rare.my second steak came back well done. Hostess said it was the light that made my steak look well done. I was out side dining area, she was very rude. The problem is my wife and I went to dinner there to eat together, she ate well I didnt then by the time my steak came out she was done . I will never be going back to the Texas roadhouse in Niles Ohio or any other road house.
The food was awesome, but the atmosphere wasnt what I was looking for at the time. The place was packed and very loud- it was hard to hear both the waitress and the other members of my party. I think next time, Ill just order takeout and enjoy the excellent food at home!
I loved it. Our appetizer came out while we were ordering for our meal. Never had that happen so fast. Its usually 5 minutes before the meal. I am not a big steak guy. But they cooked it exactly how I asked and the taste was excellent. As well as the service being fast and courteous but not over bearing.
This is a great place to eat, the food is great, and the atmosphere is terrific. They have some really awesome servers, but occasionally and I mean rarely you can have about average service. Despite that tiny drawback, Ive never had a bad experience at texas roadhouse niles, oh.
I love this place but the last 2 times weve been there the service and food have been horrible! My steak is either gristle or tuff. Ask for mushroom onions both times had to wait forever to get them after my steak came. Ask for ketcup never did get that. Our drinks got refilled after we ask for to go boxes. Very sad .this was always my go to place
We had a large party of 10 and our waiter Greg was phenomenal! He was attentive, never left us without drinks or rolls, and we never had to look for him! The manager Aubrey was fantastic as well. She checked in on is a few times and even though nothing was wrong, my meal was a little small portion wise, she generously fixed it with no worries. Bot people were very sincere and took as well as made light hearted jokes. This was BY FAR THE BEST dining experience we have ever had! Thank you Greg and Aubrey!
Havent had a bad server or meal here, ever!Usually I go on the weekends & the usual is prime rib. Went on a Monday evening & switched it up a little, got salmon & it was excellent! Have been going to this particular Texas Roadhouse - Niles, Ohio for years & never a complaint, once!*what happened to the line dancing?I think it would be great if servers could include customers in the line dance!
The service was fantastic! very hard working, nice friendly staff. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and so tender, even the sirloin was as tender as a filet mignon. I like medium rare and it is RARE for a restaurant to consistently make the perfectly ideal temperature of steak but they did it! the rolls were great! the only thing I didnt really care for was the mashed potatoes and green beans, they tasted a bit like well...I know this sounds harsh...but the sides tasted a lot like hospital food.
I typically do not give overly negative reviews; we are all subject to having a bad day, I like to give allowance for that. However, I did experience terrible service here. Long story short, we called ahead for a table to accommodate 8 (birthday dinner), hostesses were exceptionally rude when we checked in...I was rather taken aback. Our table was not functional for 8 people, we had to snag a chair from the bar. I must say our waitress was beyond rude and indifferent, just plan terrible. They only time she cracked a halfhearted smile was when she gave us the check. 2 stars for average food, you know what to expect from a chain. Food was consistent, served as ordered.
Fantastic steak place within a decent budget. Friendly servers and attentive busboys. The steak is fine and their menu is very diverse. Personally I get the pulled pork. The bread they bring out is delicious and the cinnamon butter keeps bringing me back. Definitely recommend for families that dont want to spend an arm and a leg for a good Texas style dinner!
Gabby, the hostess, was awful! When I walked in she didnt greet me or anything. I had to ask if I could be seated and when I did, she hissed at me before telling me to go find a table. On the way out she slammed the door in my face and yelled at me. Almost made me cry. Food was awesome though. Might go back.
Went here for dinner and it was awesome. Very friendly staff and out waitress did a great job. She checked on us several times. Plates were cleared almost instantly. Steak was tender and delicious. Mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese very creamy. Good house salad and rolls with cinnamon butter. Love the Texas size pour of wine. All and all was very pleased with the food and the service.

2022-04-23I go to Texas Roadhouse on Fridays for the Prime Rib. Its the best around this area in my opinion, and Ive tried all the places that have Prime Rib. The closet to it is Outback, all others fall way short. I always get right in, I sit at the bar and the service there is impeccable. Tried the rattle snake bites, and like them. Ordered my Prime Rib med-rare and it was perfect. Had mushrooms on top. My sides were steamed broccoli and the loaded steak fries with chili. Ate almost everything, brought what was left of the Prime Rib home for lunch tomorrow. Had a couple of the Long Island Ice Teas that went great with the meal.

2022-04-25Love going to eat here back home. Decided to eat lunch here before shopping at nearby mall. Arrived at 11:50am on a Sunday. Waited a little for someone to seat us. Waiter came and got our drink order then gave us time to look at menu. I ordered steak salad (medium) and my FH ordered 2 baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, and applesauce b/c he recently had teeth pulled. Waited over 40min when Jeff said our food would be coming out in 5min. It comes out and my steak was not cooked medium and was barely even warm. I took it off and put on plate. I barely saw our waiter and honestly our food should have been hot for as long as we waited. I have added a picture of my steak that was supposed to be medium.

2021-09-03My go-to restaurant for steak. Always good food. Always good service. Tonight was no exception. The bartender was me server and you could tell she was a pro. The steak and sides were delicious. I I am a truck driver and Texas roadhouse is my go to choice anywhere in America for a good meal. (Photos below are from a different night, different restaurant)

2022-07-02I rest at Texas Roadhouse frequently. I like my steaks done Pittsburgh style burnt on the outside and rare in the middle.Steak came back rare the first time but not charred on the outside. This time it came back in a black and was seasoning and like salty juice water.I seriously doubt the cook here knows what Pittsburgh style is.Too bad I should have just stuck with the rare state and taking that home and build a fire and charbroiled it myself. They call they did was like boil this thing in a black seasoning.I should have got the prime rib on Friday night.

2022-02-22So I didnt actually eat here the day this popped up into my feed. Every time I have gone to this restaurant in the past food has always been very good as has the service. On any normal day it would be 5 stars. The reason I have only given 2 stars is because of the normally good food and service. I arrived at the restaurant that day and noticed it was busy as usual but figured I would go in and ask what the wait time was. I was told for 2 people it would be 5 to 15 minutes so I put in for a spot and went to wait in the vehicle. An hour and 15 minutes later we decided to leave. We drove to another restaurant, were seated, had our drinks set in front of us and our food order in when I finally got notified that a table was ready. I understand youre busy and nobody wants to work anymore but lying directly to a customers face, miss short haired hostess whos name I do not know that was working Sunday February 20th around 1230PM is just bad business. If its going to be an hour say that.

2022-05-03We’ve been coming here 2-3 times per month for over 6 years now and today was definitely one of the worst experiences. Our waiter Jeremy had no personality, no smile, just a dry dude all the way around. Drinks stayed empty, my steak was well done (surely wasn’t supposed to be). I hope good people get back to work soon!

2022-04-15I have been to Texas Roadhouse many times and never had a bad experience until last Sunday! We phoned ahead and had no wait time. We got seated shortly after two oclock. Our waitress took and delivered our drink orders. She came back and took our order. An HOUR later, she came back and said she lost our order and took it again. After ANOTHER half hour, we asked to speak to a manager. She didnt charge us for anything but the alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, that didnt help get us a meal. I thought she could have offered a gift card or at least a free appetizer. I am VERY disappointed with how things were handled. It will be a long time before I go back.
