While the local dispatched tech is great they are using what seems to be an overseas call center which is not so great. Whether you can understand them let alone they can help you depends on the luck you have when you call. I spent a lot more time and calls for what should have been a quick call. Not impressed with their phone customer service. Their rates keep going up and phone service goes down. Now increased rates drastically and no longer give advance notice like in contract or allow easy communication with the tech. Plus dont follow time frames or bother to let you running late. Higher prices much less service from office. Tech though does great job.
Josh,Ty and our technician were amazing. I discovered our pest problem during our basement renovation and needed help fast. They were so knowledgeable and got me scheduled within 48 hours of my original call. As a first time home owner this stuff is uncharted territory and is overwhelming at times. I appreciated their clear communication and pricing so i could make a good decision. I definitely would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
Their service technician, Bill is wonderful. He does the job thorough and gets in and out quickly. I only have minor issues so the services provided quarterly works best for me. Could complain about the cost but the benefits I get are almost worth the money. Everyone has to make a living.
Cannot recommend Terminix. Last year they scheduled inspections and either didn’t show or rescheduled last minute several times. This time they showed up with no notice or prior scheduling. There also seems to be a disconnect with their national office and local offices. I get calls telling me I’m due for an inspection and they try to schedule me not realizing the local office has already done one. Frustrating experience. Also not sure what I’m paying for. A monthly fee to stop by once a year and do a 10 minute walk around my house and provide no report or feedback? No thanks.
He had the consideration to come early, due to storms coming. That was such a relief. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to explain in laymans terms, everything that he had to do. I highly recommend Terminex for any insect and rodent concerns.
I found your information very easily online (and I really appreciated the $50 off coupon), and the customer service rep contacted me right away! They were able to fit me in within just a matter of a couple of days (I think it was just luck), and everyone I talked to from that point on was super helpful and friendly. Also, the technician was able to take care of the outside of our home without us being here. We appreciate you working with us!
Very friendly and knowledgeable technician. Was in and out in a half hour. We have not seen any spiders, fleas or ants since he sprayed. I have not slept this good in months. I am absolutely terrified of bugs and can now easily rest. Great price as well and they were out here the next day after we called. Ive actually told 3 family members to contact Terminix because I am so pleased with the whole process thus far. Thank you!
Inspection was scheduled for between 3-5pm, inspector Andy Wagenknecht called at 1:45 pm saying it would be closer to 5, then calls at 4:30 stating it would be 10-15 minutes after 5. Inspector didnt show up until 5:45pm, and was quite rude. Walks around the house, didnt go down into the crawl space, just shinned his flash light down and moved on. Did not even attempt to go into attic. Was there 5-10 minutes at most and received my inspection report by email at 6:09pm which stated no access to crawl space and attic. Inspection was needed for purchasing our new home and it was a complete joke. They wanted to make sure they were getting their $250 though. Would not recommend.
Technicians schedule and cancel visits without your knowledge. Always late to appointments. Hold time is always 5-10 min or longer in which case you are disconnected. I was signed up for a year contract without prior approval of the length. Product is ineffective at a mild garage roach problem after 3 months. Take your business elsewhere
Termite and pest control treatment was done on Monday 9/13/21. However, I still have bugs like spiders and ants inside (in the kitchen) and outside (on my upper and lower deck in the back). Today is Friday (9/17/21). I called the technician (Corey) on 9/14/21 that he forgot to treat the upper deck on the back. He said someone would come but no one has come yet. I called the sales guy Matt also this morning but I am still waiting for his call!I had termites in the tree 20’ away from the house. I don’t know how long it takes to get rid of them.
Please do not use Terminix. Reach out to a local company who cares about their customers. We recently paid Terminix over $1300 to eradicate an infestation. The technician over-sprayed onto several items of furniture which are now ruined and, 2 days later, we noticed that the infestation is still very much a problem. To top it off, the inspector will not return my phone calls despite leaving several messages to help us deal with the infestation. I contacted the office (which is a feat in itself as no one ever answers so you are the mercy of a call back) twice. The woman who answered was sympathetic and promised to leave a message with management and I should have someone contact me by the end of the day. Well it is now 3pm the next day.... checking phone AGAIN. No missed calls.
Paid 32.99 a month for the last 12 years we lived here. About 2 months ago, asked them to check out a potential issue. They wanted to charge me more money to take care of it which was not in the contract. I called and asked then to cancel service. They assured me it was canceled and yet here we are a month later and they charged my account again. I am filing a claim with my bank but be aware that there are many complaints against this company for this same problem. Stay far away....they are useless and are liars
Its only been a week and a half, and their services have made a solid impact already. The team that came to our rescue is on time every time, have a great communication ethic and they are so nice! They explain everything they have done/will do. The company does what it says on the tin, and is worth every penny.
Booked for an insect problem. Received 3 phone calls within an hour to reschedule for various dates ranging from same day to a week out wasnt comfortable with all the changes so I cancelled. Its a week out and Im still getting calls that techs are trying to confirm my appointment. Not sure about their actual service on property, But back of house is not able to schedule properly.
Greetings,Like many of you that are perusing Google Reviews on what company you should utilize for your pest needs, we found ourselves in the same boat. All we needed was a Termite Inspection for a home refinance. My wife went to two places, Terminix and another local place. Unfortunately, the price was not available from Terminix and in her attempt to get a quote she scheduled an appointment.Now for the highly rated part. The Terminix Tech (Matt) called and stated I am 30 minutes out for your Termite inspection as I answered the phone, I wasnt aware of a scheduled appointment but went with it. When Matt showed up, he explained in detail what he was going to do and I explained that we didnt have concerns that the inspection was merely for a home refinance. Matt didnt treat the process any different and did a thorough examination of the house, explaining other things he was seeing. Really, Matt was the all star here, and I would give him six stars for his process. A really effective employee.Please do your research before you commit to an appointment from any location, especially just for a termite inspection. There is A LOT of variance in the price, I know the information is not readily available online, but give the offices a call. We found out between the two companies there was approximately a $75 difference just for an inspection.
Mr Darnell Johnson calls the day before and he calls when he is in route to my house. If he reaches me, he does the interior and exterior. If he doesn’t then he does the exterior only with a follow-up call offering to do the interior. He also gives me a two hour block of time. I have time to prepare for the visit. Normally my service is during that block, not showing up at the end of the block to do my service. Excellent customer service by Mr Johnson. Dr Rhonda Gullette
I had to deal with bed bugs. Called Terminix and they said they were 99% accurate. Also the sales rep convinced me I would save money Im adding outdoor test spray, knowing I was going to be moving into an apartment. I put money down and finance the rest on a card associated with Terminix. Within 2 weeks I had 2 unauthorized withdrawals of $135 from Terminix for spraying my old house I no longer live in as they had already had been given my new address. My daughter was in the hospital and it over withdrew my account both times! Im very disappointed in the way things were handled. I believe they only sprayed at the beds. There was no indication of prepping needed. In fact they said no prep was needed. But they never sprayed in my dressers as they indicated they would. Now that I have moved I fear they did not get rid of the problem and they have put me in debt. I would not recommend them to anyone! Ever! All they are is about money! And once they have your money, they do not care about the services they give you.
Had an appointment with them. They never showed up. No explanation. I called the company to get a recording that this is Tracy. I no longer work for terminix. If you have an emergency call 1-800- terminix. I called to be told I had to speak to another department. I was transferred. It took an hour to be told I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. I was hot. They showed up at about 5pm. I was told it was ok to let my cats run around. It wasnt. We have an ant problem. He put some stuff outside around the house. The technician was awesome. Waiting to see if this works for the ants. Wouldnt recommend terminix to anyone. Just my opinion. I wouldnt have been so mad if I didnt have to wait for 2 weeks for an appointment.
I’m absolutely irate! 8:00am on the dot I get a knock at my door causing all 3 of my dogs to go insane and woke my sleeping 20 month old up whom by the way was already not sleeping well through the night so I myself haven’t gotten any sleep! I’m furious now as we are ALL UP FOR THE DAY. Thanks a lot. Why is he even here? To do an inspection I didn’t request? Don’t ever come back
Had ants since I’ve moved into this new lake house last year. Got ahold of terminix for services. And have still had ants since.. they say they have sprayed outside but I’ve never physically seen it. So now I’m working on my third 110$ payment with ants still taking over my kitchen . Two months ago it took me talking with 3 different reps to get a visit scheduled in between my annual visit. Was so difficult they didn’t end up coming but one week before my annual visit. So yesterday I call them and I thought I got this super helpful woman. Said someone would text me with my time of appointment. It’s been 24hrs no call.. this place just takes advantage of you acts like their helping then don’t. I just don’t get it... customer service is all around a joke .
Terminex came out to remove a large beehive. They sprayed the walls, the ceilings and everything else in the room. We made several calls and were told 3 times a manager would contact us within 24-48 hours....they never called. We will never use them again. What a waste of time and money. Terrible, sloppy work done, terrible customer service and zero manager follow up. What a joke.
Had a mouse, called terminix to help. A guy came and sold me on a package to secure my home. They took 12 days to come out for just an insect spray of the exterior of my home. Didnt even deal with the mouse that I ended up catching on my own with glue traps from target. I wanted a refund of the expensive package to secure my home that was never completed. Thats been over 5 weeks now. I have follow up several times without actual help in resolving this issue. Someone says they have input the correct info but its not done.
Our technician Darnell has always kept us well informed about his arrival time, what he will be performing during the service, and what he discovered during the service. He is very professional and courtesy which is what a customer expects when paying for a high-quality service. Thanks again, Darnell.
I called this “local” business, google address in Dayton to get a quote for an inspection fee. I got a frustrated operator from another state who needed all of my personal information first, to just to wait till Monday for a phone call to get the price. Save you time and get ahold of a local business that answers there own phone. No thanks terminex.
I am a new customer with Dayton, OH office of Terminix. I had an exclusion service done recently. Also signed up of a maintenance contract. It is difficult or impossible to contact them to comeback for a follow up service. I have been trying to contact this office for almost 2 weeks - I cannot get anyone on the line and no response to voice messages. This includes the national phone numbers as well as local office. I am on verge of cancelling my service. I rarely if ever post reviews, but this business is not responsive once they get your money.
First, they kill the bugs - that’s why they’re here. Next is the willingness to return in the event that we find a recurrence of the problem or any new “infestation.” Finally, the professional manner in which they approach each visit, including advance notice right up to arrival and the courtesy and friendliness of the technician while on site. We have been a Terminix customer for many years and have no reason to look elsewhere. They have it all and perform as expected every time!I failed to mention our technician, Jeremy. He was informed, informative, punctual, thorough, friendly - everything we’ve come to expect from any Terminix technician. He worked quickly, but didn’t rush through the job as if trying to hurry to his next appointment. Thanks for making certain we don’t even see any critters - especially spiders. We hate those nasty things if they manage to get indoors! (Now, I’m finished.)
For over the past month terminix has been scheduling me appointments for them to come out and fix my traps, they have no come one single time and there was at least 7 different time I was told that they were going to come out. Not once to fix my stuff. Yes they will come get your money and never come back again when they misinform you about their traps and they break. They won’t allow me to talk to a supervisor to even get a refund. This place is a huge joke and I do NOT recommend anyone using this service
Terminix has been servicing my home for 16 years - always reliable. Technicians are friendly and responsive and most importantly - no bugs! If I happen to have any issues between my scheduled quarterly service, I call and James is out within a day or 2 to address the issue. James Frazier, my tech for the last couple of years, is knowledgeable, friendly cares about his job and customers!
James Frazier, our service technician, deserves a perfect 10! He’s so pleasant, trust worthy and prompt! From our first visit, he explained everything so we knew exactly what our issues were & how he would address them. James is like a family friend we would want everyone to get the chance to know!
I was impressed form the start of the first conversation I had with company when contacting them. It wasnt a long conversation and got to point of asking my problem and whay they could do to help. I expressed my concerns about ants and they were able to schedule me that day and come take care of my problem. Their tech (Josh) great guy called ahead and was on time to do the work. He got right to it and got it done. Just a day later I seen no signs of the ants anymore. Very impressive from beginning to end and will keep them working for our home.
I dont believe that the recent five-star reviews are real. Terminix of Dayton used to be good but not anymore. Terminix of Dayton has no-showed three times in a row on scheduled interior termite inspections. The first time, I scheduled the inspection on a Saturday. They showed up the following Tuesday and were surprised that I was at work not home. Yeah, thats why I scheduled it for Saturday. The second time, I was also promised a Saturday inspection. This time the inspector called first and asked if I would be home for the scheduled Tuesday inspection. No, I said, thats why it was scheduled for Saturday! He said, Oh, Ill talk to my boss. Nothing happened. The third time, the lady at the 800 number said that she had talked to the local manager and the inpection was guaranteed to happen Saturday between 3 and 5 PM. Nobody showed and nobody called. Just received an automated call from Terminix saying that the interior inspection will be done Thursday, between 3 and 5 PM, when I will not be home. Yeah, right. I have three possible explanations: 1. The local scheduler flunked kindergarten and is unaware that Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday are three different days. 2. Terminix employees are lazy, and have figured out that if they only schedule interior inspections for times when the homeowner will not be home then the inspectors dont actually have to do any inspections. 3. Terminix employees are evil geniuses. They suspect expensive termite damage within my home, and are trying to goad me into dropping the contract so that Terminix doesnt have to pay out on the termite warranty. Either way, avoid Terminix. If you doubt me, check out the hundreds of one-star reviews on the BBB website.
My technician Johnathan Anderson is awesome. We moved into a home that was empty for awhile and battling spiders and ants and he is always here when I need him. He explains things to me and is patient with me and all my crazy. He even took care of my mailbox and checked the mail for spiders after an incident I had. He addresses all my concerns and actually helps me without making me feel like a crazy person. I was ready to give up on this company till you sent me johnathan as my technician. I’m so thankful to him !!
This is a very Good company, their service works and I have used this company for years and my Father did as well, but during this inflation prices are going up and People are being affected by it and having to make some important decisions and changes in how they do business, and that will and has had an impact on what and when I will use this company ,
The representatives provided great customer service and really listened to our concerns. Their explanations of the process and recommendations were helpful and provided us with knowledge that assisted in our understanding. Both gentlemen were professional, personable and covered every detail. I felt comfortable in asking questions and feel confident that our pest issue will be resolved.
My daughter is REALLY afraid of bugs so we started using Terminix a few years ago. I used to always get those orange beetles that kind of look like lady bugs and now I never get them anymore. Also my service technician James is so friendly and he always updates me on all the areas he treated and he even remembered I had mentioned seeing a few ants one time which he offered some helpful suggestions for and checked up on after that visit.
I have tried to have terminex come last year and again this year but they never did after many attempts this year to have them come out they never came and when I called to find out why they said that they came and I said I didnt need them. Even though I spent the complete morning waiting for them to show up and they never did.
Where to start. These guys do NOT have their act together constant miscommunication. I put 1000 dollars down for the bed bug plus and a year follow up service. First guy came and sprayed for the wrong bugs. So I basically went through all the work of putting my house in order for nothing. 2 weeks later a second guy comes out and sprays for the right thing but neglected to spray the whole house. I complained after seeing new bugs I was guaranteed the freeze treatment would work by the salesmen. However the technician claimed its not a guarantee and they would go out of business if they killed all the bugs. Now keep in mind I never was shown a contract or signed a single paper. I decided to cancel the 1 year follow up since Im not happy with the service. Guess what? They still taking money out of my bank account and claim they have no knowledge of it but I have a statement showing that they did. Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had. Wouldnt recommend to anyone!!!
Darnell, our service technician, is always personable and professional. He does a thorough job each and every time and gladly shows up for touch up services whenever I request. Also the yearly inspections which maintain our no termite guarantee give me a peace of mind Ive never gotten from an exterminating company. Most importantly, my yearly rate is locked in for the duration of my service.
James is always prompt, professional and kind. We receive notice ahead of when he’s arriving to service our home. He confirms what he has done afterward with recommendations if needed. Never pressures us to do anything, just recommends. I appreciate this in a world where businesses often feel they have to put people in an uncomfortable position to try and get/keep business. That is not a good way to sustain loyalty. I believe Terminix and James understand this.
I would give this company 0 stars if I could(from every aspect, not just the service, though that’s terrible as well). Paid almost $1000 for them to take care of a bedbug problem. I have had them out 4 or 5 times, the last 2 times being a different tech, and have seen no difference. When I called to try to figure out what was going on the phone rep basically ignored my complaints and asked when they could come out again. They will be returning at some point this week, assuming the office calls me back. If the problem is fixed after this time, I will update my review accordingly.
We contacted Terminix for bedbugs. The sales person went under the house and found termite damage. We got pest control and termite protection.We tried to schedule bed bug treatment and was told the pest control policy didnt cover bed bugs and was sold another policy.We had two separate bills every month and paid them in full. We received notices it was time too renew. We did not. A month later we get a phone saying we are 90 days late. I told the man we cancelled because we did not renew. He said the policy stays in effect until you request a cancellation.We were told we didnt need to throw out any furniture. After 2 months they recommended we throw out furniture. We got rid of 2 bed sets and all the living furniture.I agree 100% with another customer stating service was ok. Impossible to cancel.Very poor communication. Tech showed up unannounced or not at all. Apparently they do not have a local office any longer. They communicated by cell phones.100% money back guarantee is only good for 30 days I believe if that long.
Back in April I setup up service, the initial standard treatment for typical bugs. Few days later tech shows up--he was physically too large to treat my crawlspace and the attic; so it was agreed hed just treat the outside and another tech would come back and treat the remaining.Few days go by and I hear nothing from Terminix; so I call back in and explained the situation--couple of days later prior the appointment I received a courtesy call saying they are on their way. His voice sounded familiar so I asked him if he was the same guy who came out a few days before. He said yes and told me he explained it to his manager but was told to come out and just treat the main floor of the house. I asked him not to come and then contacted corporate to cancel my account and refund my money.After calling in several times over a period of several weeks it was clear to me I wasnt getting my money refunded--so I disputed the charges with my credit card company and had the charges reversed.Few weeks go by and my credit card company sends me a letter along with the documentation from terminix; it had holes in it big enough to drive a mack truck through--this is when I filed BBB Complaint Case# 40161579 on June 6 2019.On 6-13-2019TERMINIX INTERNATIONAL06/11/19ATTN: MID-SOUTH BBBRE: BBB CASE #40161579 Randy McMullenI have received this notification. Treating the crawlspace is not normally part of the service, this was explained. That being said, a different tech should have been sent back out upon request. We will refund the money back.Tim YoungBranch Manager - Dayton, OH #2063On July 16 2019 I call back in to customer service inquiring about my refund and was told it would take 2-3 weeks to process.On August 19 I waited approx 34 days since approximately 67 days since I was told I would be refunded my money and have called back in again and was told it would be several more days and it would be escalated, so now I had to file another BBB complaint because they (according to terminix customer care) local management has not issued the refund.I gave Terminix an opportunity to make it right during the second appointment, but apparently local management wants to play games. I have used Terminix before in Wichita Falls, Texas and did not have a problem but here the branch out of Dayton seems to have a misalignment.
Its not just Terminix, but our technician that drove me to wrote this review. A true professional, Darnell is an outstanding individual that is a true customer service hero.He not only constantly shows up on time, but often early. He takes time to not only explain, but inform and inquire. Hes pointed out things that weve gotten ahead of - future problems only caught because of his expertise and knowledge.Were a military family, so we will eventually leave this area. Wherever we end up next, I hope we get lucky enough to get someone half as good as Darnell is at our next home.
Technicians from the Dayton, Ohio branch office have been out to my apartment 10-15 times and still have not gotten rid of my (fairly minor) bed bug infestation. They first came out in January, and my 90-day service expired in April, with the issue still unresolved.Whenever I call 1800 Terminix (which has been multiple times now), they simply route me right back to their local office, saying there is no way they can connect me with anyone higher up in the company. And Ive been around and around with the local office, they just keep coming out and doing treatments and nothing changes.Recently, the local branch manager, Nathan, scheduled me for several treatments, then no one came out on the dates specified and the branch manager has ceased returning my calls. Again, all the call center will do is route me back to the (non-responsive) local managers number.To make matters worse, the most recent time I called, the call center tech said I had only ever had 30-day service (which is incorrect, and I have paperwork and audio recordings to prove that), and that I would need to purchase additional service if I want my bed bug issue resolved. Technicians used to leave a paper copy of their service report after each visit, but they stopped leaving those a couple months back. I (usually) still get an email detailing the service, but the last one I got - or maybe the one before that, not sure - said there was no activity noticed, even though the technician, Jeremy, admitted to me on the phone that he HAD noticed activity. There is something VERY shady going on in this company, at least at the Dayton, Ohio location.
I think they did an okay job with our ant issue. I have still seen a couple in our house since they have come out, but not like before. I did ask our technician to be careful about the ant traps in our pantry and put them off the ground so the cats dont get into them and there was one on the ground that on of my cats did get into. I think there was some miscommunication and wish he would have shown me where he put the traps before he left.
Spiders are everywhere I spoke with my route manager and he said call main office on hold two hrs noone calls back left messages. Last year was good not this year I paid for a whole year in advance I dont feel the tech did a very good job and my rep claims its not his responsibility to fix it
This visit was much better than the last few visits. This past visit, the technician did everything that I asked him to do. I knew when he was coming, and he called to reconfirm. Most times I am not aware when the technician is to come to my home, therefore the inside does not get treated as it should most times. The time before this, the Technician did not clean the webs down from the porch and around my home. I am not sure that he did anything, since I was not home. But I think the technician, Joshua for what he did on my last visit.
Called them about a pest problem. They sent a technician out who seemed nice but when he found no signs of the pest in our home he offered no help. No prevention or treatment options. Even tho we had pictures proving the pests was there. Called again and another technician came out who found signs of pest but no actual pests. All he offered was a 90 day treatment which some how cost $900. Who in world can afford that. There was no other options that he offered. Nothing as effective but not as expensive. And from what Ive read Im glad I didnt pay for it or I might have been robbed. The people are friendly and all but it seems like they wasnt nothing more than your money without giving satisfactory results. Do not think I will be calling them back or even suggesting someone else to use their services.
In the beginning I enjoyed working at terminix but we often never had the same crew for long ! Alot of favoritism and racial tension in office.The focus is shifting from having a alot of great salespeople to only making sure two salespeople Matt& Andrew are receiving all inbound leads; meaning incoming leads are sent directly to two people so youre stuck having to come up with more for yourself.Favoritism is very real in this business. If you irritate your sales manager for whatever reason, they are very capable of pulling any leads that were on you for the next few days and pushing them to other people. You have zero recourse if this happens to you.Youll get BS leads from the call center for healthy home inspections where they send you out to someone who already has every service line or doesnt even own the home and you need to do a full home inspection for someone that isnt primed to buy.

I called to cancel appointment for today and they still came out. They took money out my account without permission I canceld service back in march originally so when i got the email i called to cancel. Get home from work today with the work order on my door. Now i am on hold and have been on hold for an hour now. I want reimbursement I didnt approve the services. Worst experience ever. Hope someone answers the phone.
The integrity of this place is non-existent. I live out of state and have a rental property in Dayton. I signed up for the quarterly pest control and they charged me two times but only serviced the home one time. The documentation they provided me via email to try and justify the charges for the service had my name wrong and had a forged signature. They claim I signed it, but I haven’t even been in Ohio for two years. Do not trust this company and DO NOT call them for service. Try Orkin or some other option.
The technician always knows what I need before I even ask . I pulled out some weeds and had seen some ants . When I went out to tell him he had already treated the area because he saw a few ants on the driveway . Always prompt and professional and will spray inside , garage , etc when ever requested . Have used them for several years and always had 5 star service .
Unreal. Had the mosquito service and was told that it was guaranteed or money back. Called after seeing zero difference, the guy came out and sprayed the perimeter, which took 2 minutes max, wouldnt spray the yard and left. I get better results from the 12 dollar bottle that you buy at lowes, (connects to the hose for the yard.) Long story short, made multiple calls, got the run around, was told to call the local office for a refund, but was provided the wrong number. Called again and was told I would be contacted within 24hrs...here we are...reviewing 5 days later... Very disappointed.
4 out of 5 stars only because the technician was running late (past the 8am-12pm estimate), but he did call to let us know which was nice. He was very courteous, personable, and efficient with his service. We are much more pleased with Terminex thus far, than we ever were with Orkin. Thank you Terminex!
The guy I talked with named Jeff was very informative and explained the dos and dont of eradicating the insects. He gave us a very good deal and then Bill came out and took care of all bugs not just the ones we were currently dealing with but even outside spiders and a wasps nest he found. I would recommend them to anyone in the Dayton area!
They are eager to take your payment before they do work. They either dont show up, call two hours after they are suppose to show up or knock on the door then drive off. I even opened the door, saw they were shooting in their truck then two minutes later they were gone! Im calling the Better Business Bureau and hope that I get a refund on the $864 that they charged me.
Every time someone comes to our house for an appointment they are so professional but always friendly too. They are very thorough and explain how they are treating the house and everything like that! I’ve recommended them to other people because they are so awesome! Thanks Terminix 👍
Corey Hornsby has been SO attentive and diligent in trying to fix our squirrel problem. I appreciate that I have been able to text him to ask questions, set up more appointments and just let him know how things are going. So far, fingers crossed, we have not heard those little buggers in our attic for almost a WEEK! That is huge for how those little B@$t@#*$ have been so sneaky and intent on getting in.I appreciate Corey and all the guys that he has brought out here in the past couple weeks to try to solve our squirrel problem. If I could give 0 stars I would, late from day1, the contract that was explained to us and amount of bill was not the same as what we signed.Bed didnt get bagged for 3 weeks After 1st treatment .Your billing department didnt process the check properly.1month later and still have BUGS and you want more money...
I called filled with anxiety and a lovely woman named Kaneisha answered the phone and let me tell you, this woman was amazing. She not only hooked me up with a callback for an inspection, she also put my nerves at ease. She was beyond professional, absolutely spectacular, and incredibly kind and understanding. Never in my life have i had this amazing of a customer service experience. 5/5 for that woman!!P.S. she needs a raise and possibly a bonus yall are blessed to have her
So far, the mosquito service is suppressing the mosquitos for about two weeks. The service visits need to be no less than 4 weeks apart. It will be nearly five weeks before the next treatment - not soon enough! I live in a heavily wooded area. Your service scheduling needs to take that frequency into account.
Service was OK cancellation was impossible. canceled the service in March, they came to the house and perform the service in June and then demanded payment, then and trying to clear it up nobody in the local office is available everything has to go through the corporate office spent 45 minutes on the phone not to have anything resolved
1st off, lets start with Customer service, Ive read a lot of bad reviews about how bad it is, well its true in my case as well.the lady (sales manager) (Tracie Arocha) came out and the initial take on her, was Rudeness with an Attitude.I was debating on using their service until she showed up, and even lied about my crawlspace being inaccessible,..Im 6 and just have to bend slightly to enter.they in my opinion are dishonest at best, and will lie to you.not today Terminix!!I was quoted 1400 , and asked why is it 400 more than a quote I just got a couple of years back,...and she stares into the sky, well I dunno.DONT USE THIS COMPANY, THERES A REASON WHY THEY HAVE WENT DOWN HILL AT A SPIRALING PACE.((snake oil salesman))
We love the service and take full advantage of the monthly service plan because mice are disgusting and we have dogs who we don’t want to get hurt, sick or stuck to glue traps so when there’s a mouse caught they come out and take care of everything!!! Thank you for the pc of mind!
We live in the woods, which we love, but living the woods brings pests which we do not love. Terminix has handled wood bees, spiders (big fishing spiders), large carpenter ants, tiny ants, drugstore beetles, mosquitoes and mice. We have been very pleased with the results.
This company is terrible and negligent . I reported roach sightings in my apartment ,..in my bathroom to be exact , over a month ago. I had may baby roaches in my bathroom out of nowhere and didn’t know why. Right around this time , my neighbor next door was in a slow process of moving out . Then I saw a couple in my kitchen and let the terminix man who had treated know that I felt they were coming over from the neighbor unit since she had told another person in the building that she had roaches. He said that the empty unit was not a priority !!!! Umm , if you don’t treat it , then what’s the point at all? They will just keep going from one to the other and I’ll keep having them . Which is exactly what is happening now . The apartment maintenance people went in and took out the trash and food she had left behind , so now I have active roaches crawling across my counters which I never have had . I’m very concerned and freaked out . I feel I’m about to have a big problem and this could’ve been avoided if they would have been treating all of the four units and not just mine. What kind of exterminator doesn’t know to do them all and not just one ???
Guy that came out Matt was excellent. Seemed to know what he was talking about. Did a very thorough investigation on the house. Took pictures of entry points. Gave us useful tips. I.E. all the space a mouse needs to enter a home is the width of a #2 pencil. 😮Gave us a quote and even checked on us a few days afterwards.
They only half a** spray so we still have an infestation and all its doing it hurting my children. Embarrassing them at school. Im highly disappointed in the work they do. If they would actually spray this house top to bottom An side to side missing nothing maybe thing would be better. But right now Im highly irritated with them I feel we should get a discount or something for having to suffer this for the past year or so. Absolutely ridiculous
Experience with Terminix is always good the group of guys that service my home was like family not just a service company the last time I called for service for my home it was also coming to an end of my contract in one day I told the young men that I would not be renewing my contract because of some financial problems one of the young men he explained how it would be for payment which my understanding was wrong this young man has been in my home many times thru my service he knew how nervous i was about my rodent experience due to him caring and taking the time to explain I decided to stay with Terminix thanks to Jordan T.Helms Thanks again Jordan for your concern very pleased customer Deborah Taylor what ever my concerns were with no question asked they were there recommend Terminix

2022-05-22Weve been a customer of Terminix at our house for many, many years and we are bug free. The technicians spray inside and out and even sweep cobwebs from around the doors and windows and porch eaves. We had the same tech for many years but he was recently switched to another route. This is the one downside. Now I get a different tech each time. And Terminix doesnt give me enough advance notification of my next scheduled appointment for me to arrange my schedule around the visit. But they say I can arrange a date in advance and theyll attempt to accommodate me.

2022-06-27I had Terminix many years ago but due to unforeseen circumstances on my part, I had to let them go. I recently called them concerning an inspection for possible carpenter ants. I set up an appointment but when no one showed, I called them and they said the man that was supposed to come out didn’t know how to perform the service I needed. Then I got a call several hours later from a man who said he was coming out the next day! I NEVER had an appointment scheduled for the day he said he was coming! My husband took off work the day he was supposed to come but was a no show! The company also wanted my checking account information before they even performed any service! Then we got a call saying the service was already paid for which it wasn’t! What in the world is going on with this company! One hand doesn’t seem to know what the other hand is doing! Extremely unprofessional & I will NEVER ever use them & I will pass this information onto my many friends! They need to “get it together”!

2022-05-05First tech Cory was not very through and didnt fully complete the work. Steven came back 5/5/2022 to install the dryer vent cage and chimney cap that Cory was supposed to. He also rechecked the job and found quite a few entry points that Cory didnt fill. Gave a 7 based on the fact that someone had to redo work that wasnt complete and fix a substandard job. First service for Cory would have been a 2 or 3 since he was a nice guy but did not do a good job and left the job unfinished. Steven would be a 8 or 9 so far because he rechecked and fill quite a few missed hole and completed the work that should have been done before but cant give a complete 10 yet due to not having anytime to see results.

2022-04-10Our recent experience was great! I asked Ben if he could change our scheduled visit and go to my mothers 10 miles away and he said no problem. He then got me rescheduled and completed our routine visit. Thank you Terminix for hiring such an amazing technician!!!

2022-04-24Our new service technician, JOHNATHAN ANDERSON, was very prompt and confident during his inspection and treatment with the normal procedures to protect our residence. He was very willing to unclog a trouble spot in our rain gutter. And he lets us know things we could watch for and call him if we think we may need attention with something before his next visit. Your company has a very good well trained youngman working for you.

2022-07-22We were lied to from the first inspection, on June 8th until now. Its like pulling teeth to get someone to come out and do the work they promised and what they said they would be doing vs what they did are 2 very different things. I would love for a manager to reach out to us to have this resolved, but with the lack of communication from the beginning we will have to be persistent. I never dealt with a business that you cant call and have something resolved same day. But we have been told someone will be reaching back out to us and we never hear from them.
