This Target store has the friendliest employees as I have encountered as a customer. From security that greeted us when we entered to literally every employee we past. The couple of employees we did ask questions of acted like we were the only customers in the store. Great experience!
Great store! Super friendly workers! They go above and beyond. Witnessed a customer being rude to several employees they smiled through it all and continued to try to help the disheveled grump. I hope the higher ups take note of true loyal customer service. Unlike some other businesses Ive visited that lack quality customer care. The workers quickly look up items on their devices and even guide you to the spot. Top notch! Id give a thousand stars if I could.
Not sure why or who orchestrated it. If it was proper timing. But I was super pleased with the cleanliness of the employees distance given to me by employees when needing help. Line for customer were properly spaced. Shelves stocked. This is the first time ever being in ANY store since lock-down began that I felt like everyone was doing what they can to protect us. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! 🙏
Because at least 2 if your employees went above and beyond what I would normally expect. First was Franklin, he helped me try to find a bar for the bathtub. He was so nice, polite, and helpful. He took me over and helped to look for one in a separate department. He was busy restocking and took time away from that to help a guest out. I told him why I needed it and he said I hope surgery turns out good. Which brightened my day. See at the time my wife was in the surgery room getting surgery done to her back. Secondly when I went to put a good word in for Franklin a team member by the name of Devonta was working on online orders. He called for help, but then I told him what I needed. He also was really helpful and nice. He walked down to the aisle Franklin was in to make sure I had his name right, because at first I said Frank and the lady on the walkie said Frank who. We conversed a little, Devonta told me how friendly his co-worker is and how hes always upbeat and all smiles no matter hows hes feeling. These two employees are Star employees in my book. It made my day brighter and better interacting with them today. They are whats right with customer satisfaction. A+++ rating. Sorry so long. No length of words could Express my gratitude towards these two fine people. Keep up the good work.
I was looking for a music CD. A young man working in the department named Richard looked for it also, then searched on his hand held device. He politely asked me to wait just a moment, he thought it was in the stockroom and he would be right back. Less than a couple of minutes, and he came back with the CD. I was thrilled. I asked to speak to his manager whose name was Shelley. I told her how grateful I was and what excellent service I received. They both made my day
Called beforehand to see if they were participating in the car seat recycling. The woman was pleasant and said they were. I walked in with the car seat and was given a coupon immediately. The woman was very pleasant. Did my shopping and did self check out. I had a couple of issues of the woman at self check out and also very helpful
I rarely ever came out to this Target. I would always go to Target only out in the Easton area or Reynoldsburg (256). Since recently being literally right across the street from it Ive frequent it more frequently and dont understand why I would go out of my way to the other Targets. This Target is definitely my top choice for location. Its a major plus that its right there so whenever I need to grab a few things I dont have to travel far to get them.
Absolutely love, love, love shopping Target via online Will Call. The front desk is right there as you walk in!There is another store in the same vicinity that requires the customer to walk all the way to the back of the store for PickUp items. I do my best effort NOT to shop there.As a senior citizen with ambulatory issues--walking to the back of the store isnt very comfortable. Whenever I can avoid shopping there it is what I do. Target is spot on with floor design and customer service.
I always truly enjoy my visits to Target. They usually have a good verity of quality and price for you to choose from. Everything went well for me yesterday, on my return, and purchased items. I hadnt been in Target for a while. I have missed my old friend. I enjoyed reuniting with the store and learning about the new things going on in it and remembering the old. Target is a great store to shop in and their baby department is one of the best in the city. Go in and enjoy yourself, even if you are just window shopping. You will be glad you did. I was!!!
Came in late and needed to pick up an online order. Richard (I believe was his name) was super friendly and helpful, and got me checked out quickly. While we were there, another customer was complaining about only the self-checkout lanes being open (which is understandable because it was late). He listened to her and was super respectful and patient, and hopped on a register to check her out. When I complimented his incredible customer service, he responded with a geniune smile, “it’s called being a leader.” Was my first time in this location, as I live on the opposite side of town, but would definitely return based on my experience.
I left my wallet in the women’s restroom w.$1400 in it. I went to the CS to see if it had been turned in. The light-skinned one immediately caught an attitude as soon as I asked and had to go over to the cashiers to ask for my wallet. So I called and got Marlene (supposedly a manager)and asked what the proper protocol is for a lost wallet. She said they’ll put it in a safe. If there’s a safe in CS, why did she have to go to the cashiers?!. Idk, it just didn’t seem right to me... All I know is, I won’t be going to this Target anymore..
I found a item in the clearance bin that did not have a price or bar code on it, so I took it to 3 different employees who each told me to take it to check out, to get the price. Well after that I go to CS and explain and get the price. Off to check out. I get a lot of things on clearance and of course the prices are not matching up, they call supervisor over, she looks on her little 💻, I take her back to the price look up, along with the cashier, she states glitch in the system, her computer is correct. If I want items I pay price that rang up. Darn and I wanted those items too.
This store is just down the block from me so I go often. Target tends to have cheaper groceries (well, some of them) and Id rather walk around a Target than a Walmart any day of the week. Ive lived in the area 3 years now and I feel like in that time Ive seen this store take a huge nose dive. They were never 5 stars (in my experience). I usually go shopping at night or later in the afternoon and this store is always filthy. ESPECIALLY the restrooms. My mom used to work for Target for a great many years and apparently they are supposed to clean the rest rooms every other hour or something but they store doesnt seem to bother. Theyre disgusting most of the time.Anyway, I am the type of shopper that tries to avoid interactions with store employees unless I can help it but before the store actually got self-checkouts that was unavoidable. Which is where Ive been insulted by cashiers who decided to tell me that I look old enough to be my 21-year-old brothers mother (which I dont) and have had many experiences with these idiots trying to put cleaning supplies or other potentially harmful chemicals into shopping bags with groceries or clothing (I was SO glad when this store got self-checkout). Just last night I watched as an employee got items she was stocking out of a cart, her arms full, and she walked EIGHT AISLES to where she was actually doing the work - instead of moving the cart closer - and when she dropped one, instead of picking up or pushing it out of the way and going back to pick it up when she had put the others down, she kicked it all the way down to the aisle she needed. There are better Target stores in the area, this one is just alright. Alright with filthy, disgusting restrooms and a rude and common sense-lacking staff.
Great multidimensional store... Has a wide variety of items u dont find in other stores... Love their bed linens, good toy selection, great pet supplies, & excellent health and beauty aids including No.7 products. Food area contains a vast array of quality products where I can make one stop and get everything I need to make dinner... Plus their milk is excellent... Convenience, selection and friendly staff. Plus good prices and great sale ads... I love this store and Target gift cards are most appreciated....
Been going to this location for over a year. Seen occasional members and never had a issue with returning a purchase. I like to keep my receipts and out of 4 times this year, only once did I not have one, but still returned for store credit and spent more then what i got back which is typical.Went to make an exchange for a pair of $130 headphones for ones that went on sale for $99 (originally $150)... same brand but better version. I even told them to do a even exchange no extra credit back since i didnt have receipt this time and a member of their team I’ve never seen before comes up and tells me word for word...no, cant do that, find your reciept... and walks away leaving the lady at customer service that was helping me standing there staring at me in a moment of confusion.Never had issues, nervous situation around the holidays with most of my family Christmas gifts coming from Target... hopefully my family likes their gifts or there wont be any returns and they will be stuck with them.GO TO COLUMBUS CENTRAL LOCATION! Friendlier staff, never have had issues, cleaner, bigger and more in stock to choose from, even items you cant get at any other target within 50+ miles!
If you walk into this Target at about 8:30 am every single day like I do, youll be astonished every time but the cleanliness. The floors sparkle from their cleaning crews hard work. I come to this Target every day for the Starbucks located right inside. Considering it is mostly younger kids working I do not always expect a perfectly made drink. Sometimes it can taste like warm milk... Not much else. The more professional employees at this Starbucks are clearly the older, most hard working employees. You will just know when not to order a drink.... Young blonde boy doesnt pay much attention and makes me a warm milk every time..
A1 customer service... I purchased a phone & reload card & had problems with the activation. Richard from electronics, the store manager Eric & the women @ the service desk helped me over a span of 3 hrs, accommodating me with everything needed to get my phone on. Simple mobile wasnt helpful however the employees at target went above & beyond. #Thankful & satisfied customer
All checkout lanes were closed except self-checkout. At least 4 people asked to open the lanes and the employees said they didn’t know how to do it. All employees were rude and had an attitude to everyone who asked. Never had a problem with this target until now. There were four cashiers standing around that refused to open up the lanes.
Bought a 300 dollar hoverboard for my son got home it was broke didn’t work all dirty and scratched up brought it back to target I asked him why he did not have a return sticker on they said they didn’t know it was a return which is a lie because how would they not know then I asked if I could open the next box of the next one before I purchased to make sure it wasn’t destroyed or damage and they said they couldn’t open it in store which makes no sense why they wasn’t able to check and make sure it was brand new before I purchased it after the first one
Your new line buster devises for checking out are awful the clerk at the register was using it because she had a goal to meet. it took longer and she made an error when ringing up my items. these devices are a terrible idea. i wouldnt be surprised if they are gone within 6 months. i have worked many years in retail and have seen such ideas come and go. please get rid of them now. whomever made the decision to go this route should be demoted or fired.
Love targets Dollar aisle. You can find some amazing deals and really great products there. Its also a great place to take your kids to pick out a toy or something for being good or earning a good grade....ext. with lots of choices with a wide range of types of things to find everyone is bound to discovery something cool and its always changing. If you havent ever gone through the dollar isle at target what are you waiting for!!!
I hate to give a two star cuz my experience is generally great at Target but the uScan thing is awful. Target was always the place I noticed had multiple lines open with people to check me out. Last time I was there my uScan wasnt working and the employee at the nearby register had to help me and the customer she was helping. Is Target giving that employee more money for doing more work? I ended up needing help multiple times because my card wouldnt work and it took my about three times as long to check out. Not a huge deal, and no this doesnt happen a lot but it does make my experience not as pleasant and definitely puts a sour taste in my mouth especially when I am pretty sure that employee will not be paid more and this robot replaced a human. Target, you can do better.
I was shopping in the store on 10/19/14 and was attempting to check out at 2:25pm (per my receipt) and there was a African American male standing by the cashier and asked if I wanted to sign up for a Target account, I told him I did not and he was so persistent and went as far to ask if I had a checking account???? at that point I told him that it was not his business and what part of NO did he not understand. I will not come in that store again he was ridiculous and not as cute as he thought he was. I did hear a lady (worker) tell him to come over where she was, he almost got the worst cussing he has ever heard!!!!! however; I decided to be the better person. It may be past 72 hours but you need to know.....
Today’s visit showed a host of employees who are not there to assist customers and have this “us vs them” mentality. They were standing around talking about a customer who called customer service on them for not matching the app price. Apparently the target customer service sided with the customer and told them to give the woman a gift card. They were discussing how, “I don’t care what the app says I’m not matching it” and, “I would’ve hung up on customer service and refused to give her the gift card”.This is the atmosphere of the Whitehall target.
Very frustrating. Bought an expensive carpet cleaner. Took it home and it didn’t work so I tried to return it. I took it back to the store to return it within 3 hours of buying it and even with a receipt they told me they wouldn’t let me returned it because it “looks heavily used”. (I had bought the machine 3 hours previously and the time was on the receipt) I then had to argue with multiple managers before they would let me return it.
“zero stars”my husband bought a mega boom ultimate ears portable bluetooth speaker from this whitehall location. it sucks and is not loud at all for $150.49 i took it back a couple hours to same location. the ghetto *%%|> said they wouldn’t return it saying the serial number didn’t match but it was the same speaker as on the box.so i went to the back got the same exact speaker and opened it .. THISE SERIAL NUMBERS DIDN’T MATCH EITHER !!!and still wouldn’t return it EVEN THO THE SECOND speaker from their electric section was the same exact way..don’t buy electronics from here or anything for that matter
Today I had the worst experience at target... I have never in my life been so insulted. A target team member accused me of stealing a 6.49 alka seltzer cold tablets... after spending over a hundred dollars here tonight not to mention the thousands that I have spent at target over the years... I am super upset and I will drive 100 miles out my way before I ever go to this target again...

2022-06-02I went in at about 8:30am today on 6/2/22. The staff at this location were very friendly, many of the employees said good morning and had a positive attitude. I would come back here again, as I encourage others to do so.

2022-03-10I finally bought a PS5, and about an hour after placing an order and having my credit card charged I receive a notification that it’s actually “out of stock”. This obviously can’t happen as it’s a limited release and stock is shown in real time, which is why I couldn’t purchase it at the New Albany, Polaris, Easton, etc. locations. This is a common Target issue where an employee will mark the item out of stock, causing the customer to cancel the order, thus allowing the employee to purchase the cancelled PS5. I can only hope this location takes its employees scamming (former) customers seriously.

2022-03-043/3/2022 7225pmThis target was tucked away and I didnt even know it existed. found it by mistake while rolling around. Very quite, clean and well organized store. Seems like they keep their employees on top of putting back products and straightening up items on shelves. That really is important because a messy store and make customers turn away and not want to shop there. Of course we know people will come in stores and ransack the place so it isnt 100% their fault. Ill stop by again for sure if I am in the area.

2022-03-16Spent 30 minutes trying to get someone on the phone. Eventually was transferred to another customer... we both had to hang up and call again. Phone system auto dropped me 5 times before I had driven there to figure out and attempt to solve the problem. Very disappointed for a time sensitive situation. (Friend lost her wallet there...)

If you’re going to hire a high school girl to work there I think they should have some training to ensure they aren’t so flippant toward customers. Asking a simple question shouldn’t be met with a sigh and eye roll from a teenager who thinks she’s knows it all.

2021-09-15I had the most awesome experience at this store! There was an older woman working at the self-checkouts and she went above and beyond to help me out! I wish I would have gotten her name so I could really give her the credit she deserves. Truly an asset to their company.
