I dig this Target. No complaints. But theres a cashier here who is really nice and has great customer service...hes cute, too. I think his name is Dart?..or something? Idk...but hes been my cashier a couple times and I appreciate his service so the manager should recognize this. #godart
This morning, I had an issue with getting the proper discount from items I purchased from Target Circle. The guy at Guest Services gave me the third degree over 40 cents! Please teach your employees to treat EVERY guest (regardless of race) with respect. I had already called the store before I came back. I had my receipt. Stop thinking that every black person is trying to steal or get over on someone.
I am an avid target shopper. This is by far one of the best kept targets. The employees seem to care, everything always seems clean and organized. Its always pretty easy to find what youre looking for. I have had to ask for help a few times finding random items and the workers have always dropped what theyre doing to walk me to the item. Its a nice little touch that I havent seen other stores do. The workers there are great!
Sat in curbside for 23 minutes. When I inquired about my order, a young disrespectful young teen got very snippy with me and called me a vulgar word under her breath. I need to think twice before going back to THIS Target store. I am very disappointed in the service provided.
Just had the worst experience Ive ever had a target. We needed someone to unlock a case for a video game. We got in line at the media kiosk and waited for 15 minutes. There was a little old man in front of me also. There was a huge issue with the woman in front of us and so a manager and a staff member were helping. The manager should have called for more help because the line was getting long. A woman came up and said Im not waitingand proceeded to demand help. The employees helped her before helping me and the old man! No apology from staff and they could clearly see we had been waiting there for a long time. I can get the same things cheaper from walmart and Amazon. I come her because the employees are usually amazing and nice but clearly that isnt the case in the electronics department.
Only reason for 1 star is because 0 star isnt possible. They are allowing purchase bots to buy items with no bot check. At 8:09:00 they had stock, and at 8:09:50 they were sold out. This is not humanly possible in any way, even with the amount of people wanting the products, you just cant enter your info and go through all of the web pages that quickly. Add a bot check to protect people from illegal scalping!
I shop Target after 20 years of saying, I will never shop at target again My bad experience was at the now defunct Bedford store.. The most refreshing thing here at the Mentor store, is a young lady named Tiara (hope I spelled that right). She is always helpful, always smiling and never really seems to mind helping. This is a great thing for this generation that the world keeps saying the most negative things about. I know target may never recognize her for this review, but I see you Tiara, keep up the good work. P.S. Maybe she could help out in electronics. NOBODY IS EVER THERE TO HELP YOU!!!
Phil in customer service was incredible. There was an old sign up that showed the price as lower than they rang up. I just went to customer service to let them know about the sign so they could take it down. Phil went above and beyond and honored the old sign price and was just super nice.
The cashier didnt wipe anything down after the shopper ahead of me was finished. The shopper wasnt wearing a mask. I had to ask the cashier for something to wipe off the credit card machine. Other stores have been taking these precautions seriously and regularly. Why isnt Target?
I spent an hour in the store the day before working with an associate trying to find the item I needed. Your web site said you had several of them. The associate obviously didn’t want to help me. When I got home, I checked online and ordered online for pickup. It’s a joke that no one in the store knew you had what I needed. But when I ordered for pickup I had what I needed very quickly.
I am always able to find something, even if its not what I was originally looking for, and have always found the staff here to be extremely friendly and always helpful. I will often choose this Target when shopping, even if there are other Target stores that may actually be closer
It is nice to have a Starbucks in this location too. We can usually find things we are looking for quickly without assistance. Their prices are comparable, but their clearance prices are awesome compared to other competitors. They are usually pretty good about keeping lines short and opening enough registers.
I do not know why Target makes offers and specials in the app and when one arrives at the store the employees do not respect them, I already happen twice that they do not want to give me the gift card because Im using coupons from the target app! !! Why they do not better train their employees to learn to give a good service to the client, especially the cashiers.
Great Customer Service. Anthony understood that we really wanted the red one But we wanted it for 29.99. It was a gift for my mom in which red is her favorite color. Anthony said No problem and gave it to us for 29.99. Anthony was very nice. If anyone at target once a leadership position I hope that they can follow anthony Great Customer Service.
I came in for house ware items such as towels and found a magic whole bunch of stuff that I needed, Im sure eventually. The shelves are not stocked very well here at all. When I did go through the checkout I opted for the new machine scanners where the guest does it themselves. I got the whole order scanned and I put the money in and it needed help to give me my change back.
I waited in line for atleast 20 minutes. Which I was honestly fine about but once I reached the the front, I went to put my stuff on the belt while the women was paying and the worker said you need to go 6 feet away like girl. You are not even 6 feet away from the women who is paying. I am further from her then you are.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and orderly environment. When their lines get long, they call people from other parts of the store to run the register making it much quicker. Only advice would be to shut the hell up about the Red Card. Seriously, getting a credit card does not save you money even with the %5.
I remember going here many years ago when they first opened and being very impressed. Super nice employees, compact and clean. They are in the same building where I used to work and have them many times since then. This is a small location but have always found everything I was looking for. They also have Starbucks inside.
Targets main competition is Wal-Mart. And they are definitely crushing them in every way. When you first walk in, you see the nice red and white colors everywhere. Its clean, its good for quick errands, but where the store lacks is its knowledge about technology. I personally found them misleading and not accurately pitching you the information, if even, guessing.Overall, keep up the good work Target!
I will be sure to recommend the target in Mentor Ohio because of the great service provided by Jake, the store team leader. He was very accommodating and honored the sale price of an item that was not in stock on Black Friday. He set the item aside for me when it came in and called to let me know he had it for me. I appreciate his thoughtfulness.
Ridiculously poor experience and customer service. My husband and I drove back and forth between Target and Verizon trying to correct a mistake and then finally return the phone purchased at Target. Customer service would rather blame us than take any responsibility for their inability to properly set up the plan in the first place. I would highly recommend purchasing a phone directly through the carrier rather than involve Target Mobile, who not only did not appear to care, but point blank told me theres nothing you can do about this. This being their poor attitude.
I ordered my item on November 7th, it was supposed to be ready for pickup on November 13th. It somehow became a problem in your system, so it never became ready for pickup. I contacted support multiple times, but they only offered to cancel the order, not fix the problem. The item wasnt available for pickup until the 20th of December, and only after I finally managed to get ahold of someone in your organization who would help me. Ordering from you was a miserable experience.
I applied for a manager job there many years ago, went several times for interview, was told I was overqualified !!! Last week I took my daughter and wife shopping, looking for sandles seen 3 employees playing shoe catch over the aisles, while the manager stood and watched while laughing!! To my surprise it was the manager that told me I was overqualified, I now understand completely!! Ty target for not wasting my time!!
My experience today. Not pleased at the direction this store is heading. Becoming more and more like Walmart..especially with the huge cardboard displays in the middle of the main aisles. Went in specifically for poster board. Not one piece of white poster board in the store! I would have bought a multipack if they had it..zero. Back to school shopping HAS started but not one school has started yet. And the greeting card selection- seems like I was shopping at the dollar store for this- bought one because I had to but wasnt a good anniversary card..just had to settle for the best one I could find. It wasnt a good card.
I was irritated with my visit to this store today. Employees were busy restocking shelves and had small boxes scattered everywhere--in the middles of the aisles even. Certain aisles were completely inaccessible due to the boxes, stock carts, and employees sitting on the floor. One young man even plowed his cart into the aisle, expecting ME to tuck in or move aside?! Excuse me, customers come first? This restocking was not just happening in one or two random aisles, which would make sense
Extremely expensive and you do not give what is advertise. We bought baby gifts for a baby shower. A notice on the shelves with the diapers stated we would get a gift card if we spent over $100 for baby supplies and provide a list. We purchased $194.00 of baby supplies and did not get a gift card. In addition to the baby stuff, we bought wrapping paper. All the same brand and length. Only thing different was the pattern. The most extensive design was $3.15, the pink elephants was $4.50 and the light purple paper with purple hearts was $5.50. Same size, same manufacturer and three different prices. Not acceptable.
My favorite thing about this Target is the self-checkout machines. Since I generally only buy a handful of items at Target standing in long lines of people with carts full of stuff makes me feel cranky. The self-checkout machines are BY FAR the easiest to use self-checkout machines Ive ever encountered.
I am unhappy with your pickup process. I purchased my item on the Target app and told I could pick up my item today at the Mentor target. However, the app never gives you the option to use the Drive Up pickup method. You must go into the store. No problem for me. I just parked in the Drive Up area and walked into the store. Please fix the app so you have the option to select the Drive Up option. BTW . . .It is much easier to pick up items at Wal Mart. They bring the stuff out to my car and put it in the trunk for me. I like that.
I order something on line, paid for it so that I could run into the store and pick it up. HOWEVER when I went into the store, I had to wait in a long line, The pick up and returns were the same line. It was terrible. I dont understand how other store have one line for pickups but TARGET thinks they could make people wait in a long line of people returning items. Dont know if I will ever order on line from Target again.
Again so very disappointed in my local Target. My son purchased a video game and saw a free with purchase sign by about 5 COD water bottles. We checked out and the water bottle rang up for $19.99. I went back into the store to customer service . . apparently the sign was for a different COD item for 19.99 which they no longer had so they put water bottles in its place!?!? I understand being out of a free with purchase item but so frustrating they would keep the sign up and stock the shelf. Mind you I was already irritated my son asked for assistance at the desk in electronics and the guy told him he had to find a person in a red shirt. I walked over and pushed the button for assistance and the same guy walked over and turned off the button right in front of me without offerring to help.
Ive always enjoyed shopping here until recently. I placed an order for pick up. I recieved an email shortly after placing my order informing me five of the previously available items were unavailable. No big deal until I checked for the items in store after picking up my order and found everything that was supposedly unavailable. One of the items (toilet paper) from my pick up order I needed to purchase extra for a friend. So I gathered everything up, checked out at the self check out and was absolutely embarrassed by the cashier. She apparently thought I was trying to pilfer the tp. She very loudly asked me for my receipt. I handed it to her. I was in the middle of explaining some of the items were previously purchased as a pick up order when she again loudly exclaimed YOU ONLY HAVE ONE COTTONELLE TOILET PAPER ON HERE! I finally got the tp flipped over so she could see the bought sticker. The cashier then said oh I see what you mean. A little too late because I was mortified and in tears by the time I got outside.
Debbie.. this so called what I guess the customer service manager refused to honor my return of a phone case that broke with in the month of use. She claimed it looked to used (it was a life proof case and I do a lot of vigorous activity outdoors). If you have a return make sure you ask for some one else and that shes not involved. I also gave corporate a call and they said its her job to honor it. Wont be going back here.
If you plan on shopping here more than occasionally, make sure to connect your checking account to their Red Card program, where you will then receive an additional 5% off of ALL purchases. Note that you will need a blank check with your routing and account # to sign up. Kmart is gone, and Walmart is a hot, dirty mess with long lines no matter how slow it is, so Target is the best superstore in town.
Don’t get me wrong I would recommend your Mentor store only as for Willoughby and Mayfield Hts. You can keep the horrible help you have! I will only go to Mentor. So unfortunately if I’m not around that one I will give someone else my business. I have had bad experiences in the other 2 stores that are near me again and again I’m done with that.

2022-05-27The store was a pigstye. There were clothes all over the floor in ladies department and nobody even bothered to pick them up off the floor. You couldnt even get a cart through.

2021-09-08Usually I love this location but lately everything is majorly out of stock. Took 6 months to get a baby registry bag….Also found out they’re not enforcing targets policy of not accepting opened baby products such as diapers and formula.So I guess they’re possibly reselling opened and used products that are used on the most vulnerable (babies). Such a health hazard. Most places don’t even take back unopened formula so this is disgusting
