THIS IS WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER! THEY WERE UNBELIEVABLY FAST AND PROMPT AND COURTEOUS UPON PICKING UP THE MERCHANDISE! I AM TRYING TO WRAP MY HEAD AROUND HOW THEY WERE ABLE TO ACHIEVE THE MOST UNACHIEVABLE! ONLY AMHERST TARGET! AMAZING! THE BEST STORE EVER! CANNOT TELL YOU HOW SO VERY THANKFUL AND IMPRESSED I AM! IF EVERY STORE WAS LIKE THIS, IT WOULD BE THE ONLY STORE YOUD EVEN CONSIDER GOING TO!
Store is very well kept as far as cleanliness merchandising in our area anyway. Staff is very friendly when will assist you locating merchandise. Our store has a Starbucks, CVS pharmacy located inside the store. They do have a grocery section but it is limited. Plenty of parking. Handicapped parking and accessibility to the store. Easy to spot from the road plenty of shopping in the local area.
Got all my stuff was standing in line decided to go to check out, the cashier was straight staring at me, I was waiting for a self check out. She didnt say one word that I had to stand in. A very long line already that I was standing there, another cashier comes and tells me i have to go to the line even for the check out, i told the lady then why didnt that cashier tell me she was staring at me for the past 5 min and she didnt say nothing. They ignored me of course i will not shop here again. I had a bad experiance before this but i decided to give it another try, well thats what I get for giving them another try. Not again.
Employees lie to customers and refuse to look in the back for product. After i complained to a worker i was there the next day and i over heard the employee talking about me. Very rude. Employees are trained to lie to there own customers with no regard. Horrible expierence
Stop by to get some lunch from their concession stand around noon. No attendant working at the counter or doing any prep work in the back. Completely out of all pizza hut products. Was told it would take at least one hour to prepare any pizza or pasta because no one had gotten around to starting them.. wow..
Forgot to give my daughter a promo $5 gift card, called they said to come back in & pick it up. She took the time to go all the way back to the store & then they said she could be lying so they would review & contact me re: the gift card. Never did. I called back 1 week later & again they promised to investigate, never contacted me. I literally spent $500 to $1000 at this location every month prior. After that horrible experience have avoided this location for last 4 months.Not about the $5, was about their horrible customer service and treatment of myself and daughter.
The young lady Brittany in cosmetics was so helpful and answered my questions about No. 7 products. Also a young lady named Brittany was so kind and helpful at the self serve checkout register. 2 awesome helpful employees - both named Brittany. That is Customer Service!!!*****
No lines open. Only cashier was getting carts. No employee in parking lot. Lies. Put basket of wine and other gift items down and left store. Will not be back after only option to use self check out at just before noon on a Tuesday. Would give zero stars if an option.
I was looking for bins and the first employee I encountered was very helpful, seemed to know what he was doing. Good looking lad named Nick...HE WAS THE ONLY COMPETENT LIFE FOUND IN THE STORE. God forbid the store customer service chain actually knows what theyre talking about. I knew more than they did so someone give me the 8.75 for telling that woman how shipping works at their store. Im not that particular but if you say youre going to have milk and cookies at a party and I show up to a water and gluten free bread party Im not going to be happy, Im probably going to leave and thats precisely what I did. Stay young Nick.
Horrible management! Went to purchase a Barbie (well three) for $9.99 and when I got to the register they rang up as $39.99 each! Had a photo that I sent to my wife so I could make sure it was the right one, label said Barbie $9.99, but they still would not honor it. Then, when they keyed in the number on the tag it came up as a door mat. Naturally thinking that it was some sort of computer error and that the $39.99 price was wrong (it is just a Barbie after all) I asked to speak with a manager to get the correct $9.99 price.After talking to two teenage “managers” I was told there was nothing that they could do and that I was wrong. Even after showing them the photo I took, which was time stamped, I was accused of wrong doing. The friggin number says door mat when typed in the computer! Did I hack into your register somehow to save some money?Still upset, I asked to speak with another manager. I was hoping for one more competent. However, I was instead given the pleasure of speaking with Tim. Although he was more helpful than the other “managers” he was still clueless. Just could not understand that somehow some way the label was wrong and rang up door mat instead of Barbie. To justify his ignorance he then went and took a photo of another Barbie (one for $9.99) and said ahhh this is the one it is supposed to be. Great work detective, most of your Barbies on the shelf are around the $10 price point.I wouldn’t normally be this upset but I had to take my kids home and return to the store on a special trip just so they would not see me make this purchase. Also, what a joke this store has become over the past year. It’s dirty, nothing is ever stocked in the right place, they’ve taken away cashiers, and now their computers are being hacked and printing incorrect tags! What’s next!?I’m not saying I’m done shopping at Target but I’m done shopping at the Amherst one. Hopefully for their sake, and to avoid another empty building in the area, they will get their $&:@ together before the holiday season kicks off. And if not, maybe they’ll clean house and hire more capable people.Check out lady was extremely nice though so there’s that. On to the Avon store it is.
Went to this store on 10/7/17 at 8pm. Bought several items. When i got home found i was missing 2 things. Tore apart the car, house, and girlfriends house looking for them. Went back on the 10th and spoke to an associate. When she checked their left behind log, nothing was listed. She took all the information down and said their Asset protection agent (in house security) would check things out and get back to me. Finally since I havent heard back from them 2 weeks later, called again. Manager on duty took down my details and said APA would get back to me when she came on shift at 1. 1:20 rolls around and i get a call. APA calls saying she reviewed the tapes and i left with 2 bags. Yes, i left with 2 bags, but my missing items werent in them... To which i got the response I reviewed the tapes and you left with 2 bags so theres nothing we can do. So i ask, did you check that no one behind was rung out for them, or did you check the SCU numbers id given to check store inventory to make sure they werent just put back without being logged? To which i got a snappish I reviewed the tapes and you left with 2 bags. Unsatisfied i hung up with her, called the manager and got corporate number. To which i gave all the information again, and waited while they spoke to the same lady. To which i get a response of; She said she reviewed the tapes and you got everything you were rung up for. So yes they looked at some 2 week old tapes from cameras 30 ft away and could clearly see that all my items were placed in bags and i am clearly lying to get free merchandise. So now Im out my items, and the $50, but hey, They reviewed the tapes
I just went to your location and the cashier I had was a male not sure of his name but he was very lazy and rude the girl in front of me wanted a gift receipt and he made it seem like it was the hardest thing in the world so she told him to forget it then left then when I checked out I had a few gift cards and he told the lady behind me this was going to take forever and she should go to self check out after she already had everything on the belt.. it took him maybe 2 minutes to do it and he just complained the whole time which I thought was very rude
Very disappointed in their choice of Management. I usually have excellent experiences at Target in Amherst, OH...until today. Linda, (a store manager??) was the first, and most rude Target employee I have ever encountered. I was at the register with two boxes of Pampers diapers that were on sale, and included a $10 gift card w/ the purch of 2 boxes, noted in the ad and in the isle. They werent ringing up correctly at the register. She tried telling me I had the wrong diapers. So I asked her to walk back with me so she could show me the correct diapers. She crudely snapped, Im not walking back there, I asked if someone could meet me back there, so then she radioed someone to meet me. I proceeded to the back of the store, pushing my full cart of groceries with one hand, and carrying my fussing daughter in the other, only to find out I was correct. So I had to grab 2 more boxes plus the isle marker to show her. I walked all the way back to the front of the store, where she was standing there staring, (like she couldnt have walked back there and checked w/ me, or did a price check while I stood there, nope she was too busy just standing there waiting for me to get back. She must have been too important I guess to help a paying guest.) So when I showed her the tag, the other lady at the register rang them up, and wow!, magically the diapers rang up correctly!! So then she just walked away, didnt apologoize, didnt say a word. If this is the kind of management that Target in Amherst, OH wants to hire, then I will glady drive the extra 10 miles to Elyria to shop there. Its a shame how one employee can ruin my favorite store. I am highly disappointed!
The cashier I had was amazing however the management staff treated me like garbage I left your store bawling my eyes out and emmbarssed I have a manufactors coupon I got from work for one turkey,ham or assorted fruits and veggies for up to $15.00 it says to redeem present at your favorite supermarket and I used this same coupon last year when I received it as well the manager told me they do not accept them it is only for fligners and Walmart but Ive used this coupons at Marcs, target, Walmart, giant eagle Ive worked for the same company for 13 years and no where does it say that she treated me like I was stupid and asking for a hand out I just wanted to get apples carrots and bananas for my kids money is tight right now with the holidays and my fiance just lost his job so I had to out the items back I couldnt afford them Im litterally crying writing this I love target I come here all the time and Ive never been treated like such trash. I run a 1.6 million dollar restaurant I have 3 children and I am going to school for my masters in business and Ive never felt so low as I do right now
I found out many things are not availible in produce general groceries, or minimim of other. Orange juice waters, vitamin zero calorie water in end what you have is alittle this and that. Also clothes sports??? I was told you dont order stockings because fall is coming?????. Cosmetics and such were ok, again little here and there. Not a good expirience, opps surpriised.
Went in before 9am to get a few things only had self checkouts open, manager said it wasnt their store policy to open an register before 9am and that I had to use the self check out only. Called corporate and they said that if fact that is not their policy. Bottom line manager lies at this location

2022-06-17I really like the layout of Target on line During the Covid they really came thru. Easy to shop had all I needed and Merchandise is colorfulwell blended patterns So change of scenery with bathroom and living room was nice. I needed a POP in the rooms. 👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😘

2020-12-07Good store. Plenty of friendly employees . I seen them wiping and cleaning counters and floors while we were there. They were running short on paper products. But had plenty of food and produce. Good place to shop for your Christmas toys.

2021-04-18Target the store was fine clean and well lit as always,The Starbucks inside was another story.One staff member working and she sits there and reviews how to use an online application to a customer instead of making the drinks, and there was a line of customers waiting. Not a professional use of her time or skils.

2021-02-02I have never been there and walked away happy. Partly my fault to keep trying but they never have staff anywhere to help and only open the self checkouts. I have a giant cart full of items. I dont work there. Im not looking to check out myself while the customer next to me keeps bumping into me and knocking my cart into my kids bc the self checkouts are right on top of each other. Nothing ever scans right and Im constantly waiting to have the register fixed. I miss Target but not enough to go back inside.

2020-12-21I tried to get a video game here as a gift and was neither given a receipt nor told that the code to actually get the game was on it. I looked at the card later and realized there wasnt an area to scratch off like other gaming cards do and have tried on three separate occasions to either get a receipt or get a new code. They have decided they cant do anything for me, and Ive decided I wont be shopping here again after being a customer for several years.I definitely wouldnt recommend any sort of electronics shopping here as it seems theyll short you whenever they have the chance.
