Great Service! I pulled in and they gave me a free bottle of water immediately. Very quick oil change and they recommended a few other services but were not pushy. I did end up getting my wiper blades replaced for winter and they came with a 6 month warranty. I will definitely be back for future oil changes!
It was an amazing and fast experience. The crew was very animated and joyful and just had fun with their jobs which made the experience even more amazing. They even reset my mileage until my next oil change for me when they were finished. They also topped everything off. If you visit their website they even have coupons like ten dollars off or special coupon codes for veterans or designated drivers such as taxis or doordashers. They have good oil and it’s about the same price as anywhere else if you get an oil change.

I actually had the best experience ever getting an oil change. When we pulled In They offered my daughter a juice box and fruit snacks and I also saw they had bottles of water and dog treats, if you happen to bring your furry friend. We were in and out of there in under 10 minutes. They filled up my tires and topped off all my fluids. They were not pushy when I declined the filter change even though my car needed it. Everyone was very professional and happy. I will definitely be back.

$42.68 if you bring your own oil and filter. Just putting that out there so people know. And they don’t accept any coupons anymore apparently if you bring your own (I’ve been doing that for the last year and a half at the Lakewood location)…
My car was leaking oil so I took it to them to see if they could figure it out. They gave me a free bottle of water, told me it could be 1 of 2 things and they fixed the potential issue they could fix, and topped off my oil and it was all complimentary. They also gave me sound advice on how to get oil out of concrete. Best service you could ask for. Definitely would go with them over the competition.

I was told that the 62.00 oil change was my only option. I’ve been going to this business for years. I’m aware it has changed names but saw familiar faces. They had already drained my oil so I just went with it. I did tell them I’ve been paying 40.00for years. They said not an option anymore. It would have been helpful to know this before you drained my oil. Feel scammed. Oil change went up 22.00 in less than a year.

5 Stars all the way! The staff was super friendly, fast, and efficient. There were no pushy sales tactics. The staff worked together and were patient with a new staff member they were training. He dropped a box of bolts and the staff jumped in to help him clean it up quickly. They uncovered an issue with my exhaust and gave me recommendations on places to fix it. I seriously want to go back and give them a plate of home baked cookies because everyone was so over and above friendly. Highly highly recommend!
Great experience! Greeted with a bottle of water. Given use of coupon. Set my reminder on my car. Took less than 10 minutes and I was on my way. I’ll never have to wait hours and be hounded to do additional service. It made my day!

Do not come here - they charged me originally $179 for an oil change for needing extra oil - after asking more questions they brought the price down to $99 - stating that pricing has changed since our last oil change there -WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS LOCATION TO CHANGE OIL BEFORE - ALWAYS WEN TO DEALERSHIP BEFORE - Finally they brought the price down to $52.00 after we used a 50% off coupon - what a joke - clearly scamming for more money.Long story short - dont come here.Thanks

Fred was amazing! It was so busy there, probably because of the great service you get there! I felt bad for the staff because it was nonstop work for them, no break time. Give them a bag of chips and a drink and I’m sure they will be happy, I know Fred would be!!!!

Every time I go to Take 5 they are always very professiona,friendly and thorough. I feel they are fair on price and don’t push additional items such as wipers/filters unless they are really needed. I’ve never had a visit where I wasn’t satisfied and have used them 5+ times. Keep up the great work!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the prices they charge dont seem to justify what you get. For the same price or even less to can get the same quality oil change and complete inspection of brakes, ball joints, etc with tire rotation. This is a good place in a pinch.

When we pulled in, the worker gave us bottled water (enough for everyone in the car). The guy was super friendly, and explained all my options clearly. Showed me my filter and offered a replacement, no pressure. They say it takes 10 minutes, but it really only took 5 or 6. I will definitely go back

Overcharged and gouged the price of oil by the quart also overcharge on the oil filter. Not to mention they didn’t want me leave the shop with out replacing my windshield wipers trying to get more money. First time ever spending $101.39 for a 5 quart oil change .

Was on vacation in Ohio and needed an oil change before going home. After doing some research on line i seen this place had good reviews but no prices. I got here when they first opened and one of the workers came out with 2 bottles of water. That was a nice gesture considering they don’t do that in PA. The oil change was fast and they check the air in your tires. Afterwards when I was leaving the same worker gave me 2 juice pouches and 2 fruit snacks for my 2 kids. I will say that was probably the fastest and nicest oil change services in my life!! Definitely go to to place if you need to get an oil change.

Best oil change I EVER had! They were so efficient and provided water, Capri suns and gummies for my kids while we waited a mere 3 minutes to pull in. They entertained my kids, were cheery and overall good conversation. I will never go anywhere else now! GREAT EXPERIENCE!
It was fast, quick, and easy. They took no more than 2.5 minutes to check under my hood. Another minute or so to get me in. The another 5 to 7 minutes to get me out. Very professional. Topped all my fluids check the air in my tires and sent me on my way. Fantastic service...
Oh my gosh, I will never go anywhere else. The manager was so knowledgeable and even offered us water! The staff was very nice and funny also. By far the best experience Ive had at a stop like this. I would recommend it to everyone if needed a fast and simple oil change. They also let you know about other stuff about your car that may need to tune up like the wiper blades and an air filter. I will definitely be coming back to get a top off on any fluids.

Should be called take 25... Not as quick as theyd have you believe. Staff was friendly. Prices were pretty steep, even for the convenience of staying in my car. But it took nearly a half hour and after the discounts and coupons because I couldnt believe what they were charging for oil and filter, still came to $140. Ill just drop it off at the dealer next time. Nice guys, but wont be going back. Didnt know prices until pulled into the bay. Not listed anywhere outside or on the website. Felt stuck once I was there.

I was treated like an old friend at this establishment for an e check and ended up doing two cars in one night. As soon as I pulled up in line each time, an employee came out to greet me. The employees were super friendly, offering me a bottle of water and my dog, a treat while we waited. The second car I took in, he noticed that I was not tightening my gas cap enough and explained the importance.
This place is amazing! They got me in and out in about 15 minutes, and made sure my car was in tip top shape for a road trip the next day. They did NOT push me into anything expensive or try to sell me unnecessary things (which i hate). Their customer service is the best Ive ever had in a service shop..... They have gained a long time customer ❤
I qent in for an oil change and coolent flush. The people were very nice and informed me i shouldnt get the flush due to already existing conditions on my car. Grateful i didnt waste money on something that would have made it worse
Service was fast as there was no one in lineWas a little disappointed in visit I have used them in the past and they did not oil doors ect.this time. Also got home and my wife took car an hour later and I had an oil puddle under car on my garage floor. I cleaned it but it did not come completely out. Next morning I had no further spots on floor so I don’t think it’s leaking I believe it was from them being carelessNot as impressed as past visits

Arrived with one person ahead of me. I was in & out within 20 minutes. Had a coupon, but it was for specific service and I couldn’t use it. I was provided with a different coupon from Karl (manager) for $10 off. Very fast service & courteous guys! I will definitely be back!
Oil change was quick. Couldn’t get my oil light to reset. Another car behind me so I rushed out and told to go to my dealer if oil light won’t reset. wow. Maybe I should of been more assertive to get oil light reset. I won’t be back to this location.
Take 5 is so much more convenient for me. Finding 10-15 minutes to get a drive through oil change is a game changer compared to waiting over an hour that I’m used to at other facilities. I used to put off and dread taking the time for an oil change. Now it’s a breeze. They get you in and out with a quality service and are always very friendly. Les always makes sure you’re taken good care of.
Great experience. I feel like these guys try to break the stereotype that mechanics are scams. I know nothing about my car, and they could definitely tell. But they still didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. I went in for an oil change and thats what I got. He even went through my receipt to show me exactly what I was paying for, no surprises. The bottle of water and juice box was nice, too.

I went there yesterday and was greeted with a bottle of water. My kids were given juice and snacks. I was told I probably didn’t need a change if I was going off the date from my last oil change (I was). I asked them to check anyways since we were going out of town the following day. The staff was very fryand polite. They checked all the levels and topped off a few things, without charge. I will definitely be back when it’s time for an oil change!
For me, getting an oil change is intimidating. It isnt my area of expertise so Im uncomfortable. Steve at Take 5 did a great job explaining what was happening along the way the expected wait times. More importantly, I was not pressured to have extra services. They did a great job, it was reasonable, and I left feeling very comfortable with the experience. I would highly recommend.
Theyre Focused on trying to get the most money out of you they dont even know what you came in for. Said my air cleaner was moist needed replaced for $40. Its almost new and they dont get moist under normal driving conditions. I guess I got full synthetic oil for the price of semi synthetic after I complained about what they were trying to charge me, thanks for being inept...
Take 5 is my new oil change place! It is open at convenient hours and it has never taken more than 30 minutes to get my oil changed (and that includes waiting in line). They are fast, efficient and professional. I highly recommend Take 5 to everyone.

I went for an eCheck. There was one car in front of me but, even so, the whole thing only took 25 minutes. The staff was polite. They filled my windshield washer fluid and cleaned the windshield for free and without asking. I recommend.

Love getting greeted w/bottle of water! Love the way they shout out exactly what they doing. My dad always asked for the old filter to see, smell, & touch it so he could notice how the engine is doing.... he even gave me a whole box of ziplock bags to bring him the old filter lol! Plus he said having to give me the old filter made the mechanics honest-he said sometimes mechanics rip off woman-changing the oil but NOT the filter! My mechanic changed the filter in my view so I didn’t need the old filter! The manager went under the car after the mechanic to check her work. I’m happy to see a woman mechanic there. Then after I revved the engine she showed me the oil level on the stick and the oil was nice & clean at the correct level! Dad always said “cars last a long time-all you have to do is change the oil religiously.” Thanks dad for all your teaching info & thank you Take 5 Oil Change for taking care of me. This is one loyal customer because you make me feel special w/quality services.

Essentially a seamless transition from the recent sale of LubeStop to Take5. I was concerned that they would change everything. In fact they just got better....as they now offer me a cold bottle of water as I wait in my vehicle. The manager Les as the Avon Lake location is an asset to any organization and has saved me a lot of aggravation and money over the years. Take 5 is quick efficient and honest. The employees there take care of your basics like tire pressure and topping off fluids at NO extra charge. They are helpful and provide a service far and beyond just any oil change and DO NOT try to upsell you on something you do not need. On the contrary, I have had my air filter checked only to be told by them you do not need a new one yet. I have had them provide advice on other car issues without any pressure to purchase anything. The last time they told me about the recall on my vehicle (which didnt affect them as the work comes from the dealer) and checked my tire pressure....which ended up needing air.Take 5 is more than just an oil change and I highly recommend them.

I went to Take 5 Oil Change today in Avon Lake on Avon Belden Rd. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and professional. The oil change took about 15 minutes and you get to stay in your car! I would recommend this location to my family and friends; I will definitely go back!!Also, in between oil changes, they offer free top offs for different fluids in your car. Never felt more pressured into buying unnecessary parts for my car. Went in for a simple oil change and they proceeded to tell me that I was “leaking break fuild” and I clearly wasn’t. Also, the workers made me feel very uncomfortable. Not at all professional. Never returning.
Fluid levels were not topped off. I do not think tires were checked, and doors were not lubed. On the positive side they did not try to sell me anything in addition. I was out of there in less than 15 minutes.
Went to get an oil change in my 2019 Jeep Wrangler. I had to go back a few hours later because all lights were on my dash and my car was making noises. They looked and they didn’t put the filter all the way back in. They did fix it but there is oil all over my engine now. And my car is still not running right & leaking oil. They never gave me a refund just a coupon for 50% off next time. I will not be back
If youre missing a paet from your car, they will settle up, replace it, and make things right. Only had one issue w them in 6 years. Real good service! Real competent and prideful workers, nice and clean place!

Not as seasoned mechanics as last company. Oil leaking last visit from filter not being tightened and visit before unaware how to change air filter ... Took 25 minutes .... Convenient location but service really needs to step it up
I just had my oil changed a couple of days ago, I open the hood on my Jeep to fill the windshield wiper fluid. I see two bolts laying in the hood compartment. I call the manger “Carl” & tell him about it. Grant it it’s not going to destroy the engine, but he nonchalantly says bring the car in and will fix it, it’s not a big deal. I paid over $100 for an oil change & his attitude was basically yeah ok. I won’t be getting my oil changed there anymore.

Went to get an oil change and they refused. Apparently they were afraid to touch the hood of the car because it showed signs of damage. The hood pops open and closed, has done so for years and never has a mechanic refused service before today. Bunch of unprofessional chumps.
Very professional and greeted with bottle water. Service was timely and professional. Service members were taking COVID 19 precautions.
Place was great had a friend and a baby with us greeters us with water and snacks took less than 20 mins they even pretty much cleaned my car and topped off my tires id defiantly recommend this place to anyone with the bad experiences Ive had at other places this will be the only place i get my oil changed from now on
Pretty much the same people and style of business as Lubestop previously was, but owned by a new company. Great fast service, though they will try to upsell you on anything they can.

$60 for an oil change? No tire rotation, no special oil, just a stand oil change, $60. I’ve never paid that much even when I got. Tire rotation with my oil change. Won’t be going back, ever.

The best service I ever had for a oil change
I was just a bystander in the area waiting for a friend to pick me up, and I asked them if they by chance could charge my phone. They gave me a speaker that charges my phone to listen to music while I waited, and offered me water. I didn’t even bring them business, they are just all around kind and nice people. Thank you guys again!

2022-04-16This was the first time getting an oil change here because I was leaving for vacation that day and totally forgot I needed to get one before we left.Unlike other oil change places, I didnt have to call and schedule an appointment and I didnt have to find a ride to come get me because I need to leave my car there for 2 hours.I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and I didnt even have to get out of my car.Everyone was so friendly and helpful.I will never go anywhere else! Such a great experience!

2022-04-06It was my first time going to a Take 5. I initially chose them since I have a baby and the promise is to be in and out quickly. From previous oil changes at other locations, I wasn’t expecting the service to be as personable as it was. Needless to say I was blown away. They are extremely professional, courteous, showed me everything they were doing and showed me the clean oil after it was changed. They even asked if my little guy could have fruit snacks since he got fussy. I definitely recommend the Take 5 Oil change in Avon.

2022-03-22We had an oil change at Avon Lake location. Car was driven to Columbus at which point oil pressure light came on. After inspect car drain plug was never properly installed and had fallen out. I had to pay to have car towed back to Lorain county. Sent bill over to manager at Avon Lake location to hear nothing back. I have reached out to corporate office via of website to have no response either. Management feels it does no harm to an engine to run it out oil. ???

2022-04-17They were quick about everything, looked on the drivers door for proper tire inflation psi., but inflated 3 tires to near fifty psi. 49 psi to be exact. By chance I checked the psi as the steering seemed to be pulling. Other than that issue all seems to be ok.

2022-07-06My tire pressure light was on when I got there. Asked them if they checked the tires and was told they had. Light was still on when I left. Immediately went to check the tire pressure myself and two tires were low. If they lie about checking the tires what else do they lie about?
