Dont let this small taco shop fool you. This is authentic Mexican food. I lived in San Diego for 12 yrs and this is every bit as good as any place there. I would eat here 3 times a week if I lived closer. Not a fan of guac or sour cream so I ordered without.
For my first time ever there omg I absolutely love it! Steak fajita burritos and the steak egg potato and cheese burrito and the Charros absolutely phenomenal definitely will be going back
Yes, you can get great Mexican food in the middle of Ohio. This place is great. Drive-thru or walk up with a few outdoor tables set up. Great food, good prices, and amazing service.
HI everyone... To be honest ive never ordered my own food here but my mom and dad have my mom got was a shredded beef burrito and my dad got a grilled chicken burrito they ate what they could there and brought the leftovers home i asked them how there food was they told me it wasnt very good my dad said that something in the burrito made him sick to his stomach i instantly thought that maybe the grilled chicken was undercooked i was going to save it for the next day until i thought about the chicken possibly being under done i threw it away just to be safe i finished eating my moms burrito it had an ok taste but it also had an off taste as well i could not tell what i was tasting a little later after eating the beef burrito i felt like i was going to throw up i would not reccomend eating here hot heads or even chipotle is way better
First time here and we will be repeat customers for life. The service is unbelievably friendly, fast, and amazing authentic Mexican food for a great price. Just come here.

Hubby was visiting Bellefontaine and needed a place to eat. We saw the pictures from the reviews here and decided upon this establishment. He ordered the Bellefontaine Burrito, which you dont see on many pictures of the menu. It is chicken, though Im sure you could have it made with another meat upon request, stuffed burrito-style, and covered with red enchilada sauce and cheese. He went on to his next stop and remarked how filling it was. I asked him to bring one home to me, (I wish I had taken pictures!), and he also picked up a carnitas burrito for himself. Yes, another one! I had a bite of it, and the shredded pork tasted exactly homemade. Delicious and came with guacamole. No surcharge like other places. Both were delicious, and yes, well be going back next time in Bellefontaine!

I had 3 chicken tacos with rice. Tacos were really good and the portions were excellent. The hot sauce was good also. This place right here is the place to go, to get really good tacos.

Great place for Mexican/Latino food! Gluten-free corn tortilla variations of combo plates have never bothered my celiac close relative. Taco Villas rice & cinnamon horchata beverage is muy excelente, too, and seems gluten free also.
This is easily the best Mexican restaurant in the West Central Ohio area. Dont let the building fool you. The food is fresh, the workers are friendly, the portions are huge, and the flavor is great. You wont be disappointed.
Soooo delicious! Never have been disappointed in the 4 times weve been there. The burritos are huge, so dont make the same mistake we did and order other stuff with it. Its an old Rallys, so theres no inside seating, only a couple picnic tables outside. Try the horchata (rice, almond, cinnamon drink) its very good there!
First time my husband getting the beef burrito tonight...he is now a fan for life. I always get the super nacho cause it is gluten free. Food is always hot and delicious and plentiful!! The workers are always nice and helpful. The price is affordable and the amout of food you get is outstanding. Taco Villa puts the bell to shame. We are now a customer for life. By far the best Mexican food near all the towns in the area. Coming from west coast my expectations have been high when it comes to eating Mexican food. Taco Villas is as close as you would get without going to Mexico for authentic Mexican food.

These guys are the real deal. From Fresno, CA and from a long line of successful restaurants in Southern California. They do not disappoint. If you’ve ever had Filibertos and Robertos in El Centro, CA, these guys are from the same family. Bringing the best food to our small town! You won’t be upset by the portions or the cost here at Taco Villas and the food will always be so hot that you need to let it cool off!

The service is friendly, the food is absolutely delicious (you HAVE to try the carne asada fries!), and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the ingredients and the portion sizes. Coming from 13 years in Arizona 3 years in California, this is the closest thing to traditional Mexican food I have tasted since leaving. The food is tremendous.. I asked the guy if they had a sampler platter and he didnt know what I was talking about, so I ordered one of just about everything... was not disappointed with a single dish.

When I moved here from Vegas, I was hoping to have a taco shop near our town that served authentic Mexican food as well as had Horchata, and not only did one open up that serves excellent quality food, it happened to be only a couple minutes away from my house! Amazing food, and amazing service. They are very kind and know their customers very well. Come here quite often and they remember I like extra hot sauce. Portions are large and the food is excellent. Try the Horchata if you haven’t yet, one of my favorite drinks!

By far the best Mexican food in Ohio, that I have had anyway. I grew up in southern Colorado / norther New Mexico and like to believe I know what good Mexican food taste like and Taco Villas does not disappoint. In addition the service is phenomenal and timely. The price for what you get would be hard to beat. The breakfast burritos are top notch, the taco salad is top notch. To be fair I only have one complaint which is i would like the cheese in the cheese enchiladas to be melted but the are still delish. Lastly in case they read this I would love if they included soppapias to the menue, the ones that puff up and you can put honey in. Overall highly recommended for any occasion.

Taco Villas is similar to taquerias found more commonly out West in states like California and Nevada. Recommendations: Carne asada burrito, beef burrito, carnitas torta & the house-made horchata

2021-08-22SO GOOD!! Dont let the weathered exterior fool you, this place has got it going on! We got a carnitas plate and the Bellefontaine Burrito. The carnitas were the best Ive ever had, doesnt even compare to chipotle or any other chain restaurant. Its on another level. The burrito was also delecious and ENORMOUS. 2 people could easily share this and be more than satisfied.The service (window service, fyi) was also fantastic. The guy we talked to was so friendly and I could tell he genuinely enjoys making people and seeing people happy. We told him we would need a minute to look at the menu because it was our first time. After he gave us all our food, he gave us two complimentary churros (also very good) to thank us for our business.I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here and I will not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a place with great food and friendly service!

2022-03-18Soo good if you know what to order! First time there I was kinda disappointed cause I just got basics. You have to order what you want on it. After a couple tries it was so worth it and the people are so nice and friendly! They give you a second shell with the grilled tacos cause they add so much to it. So yummy !

2022-07-02Awesome food!! We had the steak fajita burrito, beef enchiladas, chicken and beef tacos, and the churros. All of it was excellent. We are from Michigan and stopped on our way through and it was so good I saved it, so we could come again if we were ever in the area.

2022-04-30Was reccomended by the chefs wife as she was cutting my hair, I tried it for the 1st time and it truly is good authentic Mexican.Queso is amazing, has nice heat to it from the peppers. Shrimp burrito 🌯 is also a 10. Shrimp is tender, nice heat not overpowering. Loaded Shrimp nachos I give a 8 just bc I dont like a bed of soggy chips but thats just the way it is!

2022-03-08Stopped her for lunch and got beef tacos and chicken tacos. Chicken taco fell apart from sitting in juice in the container and fell apart making it pretty messy. Beef tacos on the other hand were on point, a little greasy but definitely better than numerous Mexican restaurants in the area. If your in the mood for some tacos check this place out
