Taco Bell in other cities:
I stopped in a couple nights ago and Nickolas was so kind and patient taking my order. His attitude is something we don’t see anymore in fast food, what a great demeanor! I swear it was the best Taco Bell I’ve ever had as he didn’t skimp on the toppings. He was wearing all the safety required attire, and my bag was sealed for my safety. I can greatly recommend this location in New Albany.🙌🏼🙌🏼 🌮
Waited 30 minutes for me to get to the window and have them tell me they did not have the Mexican pizza. Then sat another 15 minutes because you can’t pull out of the drive thru line in the slowest Taco Bell I have ever been to. Did not offer anything for the trouble. Will not return.
We went to the Taco Bell New Albany location today for lunch. In the past, they have always left something out. Today, was no exception. They didnt include the only chicken soft taco I ordered. The hard shell tacos were all broken and half of the Supreme stuff was at the bottom of my bag including the nacho fries that were thrown in upside down. I appreciate trying to get people through the drive thru quickly, which wasnt the case today anyways. But, Id rather have my whole order that I paid for and intact and sit a little longer in line. So frustrating.
Is this a real Taco Bell? Honestly, 6/8 previous times I’ve been to this Taco Bell they couldn’t serve me. Sometimes the system is down, sometimes they are “out of product,” sometimes they “closed early.”This happens once, that’s fine. Almost every time? Something is up.To Taco Bell management: your employees are losing you money by refusing to take orders during business hours. Also, one of your employees literally grifted me for 4 soft tacos, asking for $10, under the pretense that they would be free, after claiming the restaurant was closed. To taco bell enjoyers: go elsewhere. You will waste your time at this taco bell. If you even get served, it will take over 20 minutes.
If there was a finer monument of the buffoonery of the aftereffects of bad COVID policy from the government and corporations, its this very Taco Bell.Cant get workers.Cant keep workers.Reduces hours.Closes lobby.Backed up drive thru.Even in pre COVID times, they didnt open until 8:00 am thus missing out on breakfast business. You cant even find it in you to open at 7:00 am?This Taco Bell is a wounded animal. Put it out of its misery.
The absolute worst food I’ve ever had. I went on 11/14 and when I pulled up their soda machine was down so no carbonated drinks were available. Not a huge deal. I ordered my food for myself and 2 others and when I got the food ALL of it was wrong and what we got we couldn’t even eat. We received about half of the items we ordered, which again were all cold, wrong, and disgustingly packaged (it looked like the contents were thrown in a wrapper and shaken and stepped on). Half of our order was missing, so I had to go back through the drive-thru and ask for the items which is where the manager literally slammed the window in my face as I was trying to tell her what was missing. At that point I was going to just ask for a refund because of how unbelievably nasty she was to us but she never came back to the window. Once we were handed the missing food, it was AGAIN freezing cold and grossly prepared. We decided to not even bother eating the food because I was not going to get food poisoning or food that had been likely tampered with. I have reached out to corporate to handle this and have received no response.. absolutely terrible. Usually this is the best Taco Bell in the area but recent trips have been progressively worse and after this last time I will absolutely not be back.
I used to go here multiple times a week after work. 6 out of the last 8 times I’ve tried to order from here, they’ve had a sign on the drive thru that they’re “closed until 6pm” (this is at 5 PM) or they say their “machines are down” or some other excuse. The 2 recent times that I WAS able to order food, I waited 30+ minutes in line with only 4-5 cars in front of me. That is not an exaggeration. I don’t go here anymore. I’ve started going to the Wendy’s on Hamilton Rd near Target. Their drive thru process is streamlined! I get the baconator fries and pretend it’s my beloved TBell nachos and cheese. Bummer about this location’s downfall.
Ordered breakfast today and the hashbrown was thin and hard, pretty inedible. The eggs in the breakfast crunchwrap were hard chunks. We ordered a bacon and a sausage one, both were sausage. The drink was incorrect at first but was corrected by the kind lady at the drive thru. Im more disappointed than anything of the poor quality especially considering they werent very busy.
I know they have had staffing issues, and sadly things just keep getting worse. This time I did actually call to make sure they had beef, (last trip they had none). The food quality was bad, my wife and I could not even eat it. Chalupa was so hard felt like a brick. I sure hope they get good quality employees and management back. Very sad.
I just placed a very large order in the drive through, only to realize there seemed to be only one guy working. This guy somehow was taking orders/money and getting orders ready all at once. Obviously I waited longer than normal, which he apologized for. I’m just amazed that he got my large order perfect and everything was hot! I hope he’s getting paid top dollar because it’s rare to see hustle like that!
Whoever is working here needs to be fired. The past 4 times weve been there they dont answer the drive thru or dont give the correct order. The system was conveniently down 3 times we went and they said it was going to be down for about 20 minutes and also somewhat convenient that breakfast ended in 20 minutes all 3 times.
I don’t expect stellar service ever from Taco Bell, but this is one of the worst locations I have ever been, and you should really consider going elsewhere. It has the typical Taco Bell problems like long lines and long waits, wrong food, very poor service, and the dining room is always closed. So if they mess up your food, you have to go through the drive thru again. Tonight 10/13/21 at 8pm, I pulled up and placed an order on the app. The line was wrapped around the building, as expected. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive thru just to order, I was told their system crashed, and they weren’t able to take orders and would take 20-30 minutes to reboot. So, 20 minutes later my boyfriend pulled up to pick it up. The same worker again told him 20-30 minutes to reboot. Save your money and go literally anywhere else but this location.
Honestly so disheartened right now because I straight vibe with Taco Bell, and I tend to go to this Taco Bell a lot but here recently it has been so bad to go to, today surprisingly I didn’t have to wait 30 minutes in line which I normally do but it’s whatever I get it understaffed but I pull up to the window and was met with such bad vibes, the lady was like on one ok, she was straight giving me major attitude and I was just omg right she snatched money out of my hand and was rolling her eyes and then basically tossed my bag of food at me and when I asked about sauce she snatched the bag back out of my hands and was so rude she tossed 2 sauces in my bag of like 5 burritos hot sauces right I asked for a variety please because some people don’t like hot sauce and I was getting some burritos for coworkers and like idk man that lady was so mean and for why I was genuinely trying to just push good vibes her way mentally idk I hope it helped
Worst experience. Have to wait minimum 1 hour at drive through to place the order. Experienced same almost 4 times and every time I think they will hire more persons and faster the service but they prove me wrong. Worst management. There are many other drive through restaurants and how are they serving fast ? Please don’t take resource crunch as a excuse.
So we enjoy the occasional trip to Taco Bell but both of the stores that are the closest to us have given us really bad experiences recently. We discovered this location by accident and it was worth the drive. They got my order right, they were polite, and we were served in a timely manner.
Like many of the other comments it is an investment of time to get food. Between system outages and taking an extremely long time to get through the drive through, currently at 20 minute, 4 cars ahead of me so at least another 20 minutes its just not worth coming here.
Beyond disappointed with the service I received this evening. We ordered a Pepsi that was extremely watered down. I ordered a nachos supreme with no beans or sour cream. When it came out it had sour cream on it, I sent it back to get an argumentative response. They brought us a new one and we left. Only to get home and realize they loaded it with beans, so much that you couldn’t find meat. Have to think that was on purpose. Completely rude service for things that were not our fault. I highly do not recommend coming here.
Normally this location is great, but I waited for 15 minutes in the drive thru line, they didnt sound sure about my mobile order being received, and got home with the complete wrong order. I hope this is not the new performance and was a one time mess up. This whole visit was completely unacceptable. Its been a year, restaurants should have this mobile order process down by now due to the pandemic.
Employees were respectful and super friendly. The food was hot when I got it. It took a little longer to place my order than I feel it should have especially since there was a person taking the orders and another collecting the money. We got our food in a decent time frame, but as I said; my order should have been taken or someone should have at the least greeted me and told me it would be just a minute. If they would have done this, I would have gave them a rating of 5.
Never really had issues with this Taco Bell. Today I looked up the menu on my phone so I was sure I was ordering what’s available. I tried to order a quesarito and the lady at the speaker said they don’t sell quesaritos. Interesting when it’s online and I could order it online for pick up. Also they didn’t ask if I wanted any sauces. Not to much to complain about but don’t say you don’t sell something if it could order at your location online for pick up
This location says its open until 1 a.m. however the door has a sign on it that says open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. What kind of Taco Bell closes at 7 p.m.? Not to mention when we tried to go through the drive-through at 6:45 we were told sorry were out of beef thats like 75% of the menu.
Its taco bell so you already know how the food is. This store is good most of the time but Ive had issues here more than most stores. Usually its small stuff like forgetting straws or a sauce, but its just one of those things that feels irritating afters its happened a couple times. The staff are very nice though which does make up for it a bit.
The worst Taco bell ever. Sealed the bag and said everything is in there. Ended up missing 4 items and no hot sauce. Had I not checked in the parking lot, my family would have been missing food. Staff needs training, motivation, or a new job if they cant fit 10 items into 1 bag.
Excellent food, service, and really good price. I continue to like taco Bell in general as my omnivorous Wife and vegetarian I can enjoy a bite without breaking the bank. This particular taco bell had a bright cheery window person and the taco bell app worked great for selecting and paying for our order. Customizing the order is easy with the app. The wife substituted steak for the chicken in her power bowl as well as adding tomatoes and onions.
Do not go here if you’d like to waste an absurd amount of time stuck in the drive thru. Oh, don’t let me forget about the long wait between each customer. If you’re a vegetarian, don’t rely on this Taco Bell. Not only this, but their systems seem to go down every day with no solution.
I had terrible customer service at this location today. I had ordered online through the Taco Bell app and when we got to the drive thru and told them we had an online order the woman said that there was no order. When we told her we had an order number and had already paid she was extremely rude and refused to give us our food. She said something about me doing something wrong in the Grubhub app. I told her I ordered through the Taco Bell app. After raising my voice and telling her that we werent leaving and that she better lose the attitude they finally found the order. I will not be using the app to order again, Ill take my chance with them getting the order wrong in person.
Taco bell is one of the best food places across the board to eat at right now. Out of sit downs, sandwich shops, and fast food chains, taco bell is right in the select top few. Stellar service always. The rebranding looks great too. I mean check out their bags now those are sick.
Every time I come here there is always a long line, that itself wouldnt be bad if you guys didnt hire monkeys to take care of that line and in the end all you do is waste my gas and time when I have to turn around and leave because its better than waiting 10 minutes per car. I wish it was possible to sue you guys for this because gas prices and personal time isnt getting cheaper.
We just found that taco bell brought back their fiesta potatoes. My husband is vegan so there isnt alot of options at fast food restaurants these days.i commend your workers at this location. They understood and confirmed that he was vegan and did a great job of ommiting any dairy or meat from his order. They also got it correct. Thanks for truly listening and understanding his preferances and giving us another favorite place that we can both to eat at and get full. Lol
Placed order through app, line was long as usual but, more disappointing was I ordered 8 mild sauce and got 5 fire and 5 Diablo, ordered extra beef burrito supreme with no beans, got double bean burrito supreme! I know were dealing with kids but this just seems intentional. Finally the lady at the window said straw was in the bag, it wasnt! I dont know how this place stays in business! Luckily the line is usually so long I cannot go here on my lunch!
This location is awful. Im a doordasher and the lobby is never open, the line is always at least a 30 minute wait, and half the orders i get from here they didnt get which i feel like is an excuse they just didnt want to make them. Horrible wait times, horrible attitude from every employee, they should not have doordash services they dont even use them
I was in the drive thru tonight. I ordered a nacho box as well as trying to complete my Doordash order. Well when i pulled up to pay an receive my food. My food ended up being cold, I didnt get my drink. The heavy set black guy, that I guess was new. Wanted to argue to me saying the food aint cold when he actually felt my food. So i asked for my money back an he said an I quote. Im not giving your money back, u gonna take this or leave it. We dont have no more fries. So i sat there until they did give me my money back. Justin the manager was nice to talk to me to let me know that the money takes 2 days for it to return to my card. An if not to come back. I was not happy with the experience.
This location will turn the outside lights off well before closing just so people dont stop; Ive caught them doing it at 8pm on a weekday. I waited today at 4:30 (Sunday) 35 minutes in drive thru for marginal food. When I mentioned the wait they said they are short staffed and are getting too many large orders. They asked me if I knew anyone who wanted to work there. Very smart mouthed employees.
Update to my last review: this is the slowest Taco Bell I have ever seen in my life! I consistently wait 10 to 15 minutes to get my food. Tonight my husband was literally stuck in the drive- thru for 20 minutes and couldnt get out. We will not be ordering from this location again as we can drive to a further away location, get our food, and get home in the amount of time we sit in this drive-thru. DO NOT order here unless you want to make a day of it!Food is fine for fast food but they are very slow.
The People Were Friendly And The Food Was Great. Normally when I order, no lettuce, on my tacos I get a tiny sliver of meat and a small amount of cheese, at most Taco Bells. This Taco Bell Actually filled my tacos even though I ordered, no lettuce. Food actually looked like it does on the commercials. A+
Sat in the drive-thru for 20 minutes without it moving (6 cars in front of me at least)… managed to get out, park and go in. Ordered quick using the kiosk and stood there for 20 minutes before my food came out. When it did, it was burnt (crunch wrap supreme) and had so little meat that I didnt even realize it was there. Will not visit again! Hopefully theres another closer that I can visit.
This Taco Bells food was like any other Taco Bell, it was hot and tasty. They were really backed up with many cars in the drive thru and also people waiting inside. However, even with the ton of people, they were still able to get my food out to me fairly quickly. The building itself seemed pretty clean as well.CCW friendly
Every single time I have gone there, they forget something. Sat in the drive through line for 45 minutes one night. Dont get the Baja Blast, its always empty and they use the freeze mix and its straight syrup and foamy.Make sure you talk very slow and enunciate, hand gestures may help.Kyle is pretty cool though. 👍
The old taco bell team in the year 2017-2018 was very good, I almost have been having dinner everyday in Taco bell, New Albany. The new team is not that great!, they delay the orders, the food quality is not that great, During lunch hrs the wait time for dine-in is too much!
Let me start off by saying that my girlfriend and I both literally work right across the street from this location, making it an easy place to get food. About a month or two ago we use to eat here about 3 times a week each. Now, hardly once a week. Service use to be very very quick and the food was always very good. Now I can barely make it there and back on my 45 min lunch(remind you, I work literally right across the street). And the food is terrible to be generous. And anytime I endlessly wait for the terror about to be served to me, it seems like the employees are having a party inside and could not care less about customers. Go to the McDonalds around the corner, sadly you will be much more satisfied there
Horrible. Ordered 3 soft tacos. Two customers that came in after me got their orders. Waited 10 minutes. Nobody even asked me what I was waiting for. Had to leave to pick up my wife at the doctor, just left. No food. They looked at me like I was dumb when I asked for a refund. Didnt even get the refund as that would have taken another 20 minutes. What a mess!
Taco Bell is good, but like many times before, I pay 0.60 for supreme and just get lettuce and cheese. No sour cream, no tomato. I think they bank on people not caring. That, or they just cant read a screen. (It was on my receipt and order screen.) Kids these days! ;-)
They have NEVER gotten my order right. They either give me someone else’s order or they leave out items THAT I PAID FOR. And they are often understaffed leading to long drive through lines and inaccurate orders. I live down the street and have tried over and ever again to give this location benefit of the doubt but there has been no improvement. Go to another location if you can.
Slowest taco bell in the world! Always come here at night and on the weekends because we live around the corner and every single time (never fails) we wait at least 20 minutes in the drive through, sometimes longer. No reason that they should be that unbelievably slow every single time.
HelloI had the most horrifying experience at this location when i did the drive through for dinner with my wife.we got2 cheese quesadillas2 soft potato tacos2 crunch rap supremes sub the meat to riceafter i was done ordering through the drive through i asked twice to make sure that my entire meal was veg and none of it had any meat in it? I got a confirmation that it was all vegetarian.Biting into the crunch wrap supreme i instantly tasted something different and i could tell it was definitely beef. considering im from india and finding veg food is really difficult , i make sure that my food does not have any meat in it and also ask twice after placing the order. I was really appalled with the situation and i prefer not to eat beef for religious reasons.we went back to explain the situation and had the worst experience.1. They did even apologize to having put beef in my meal2. I asked for managers phone number and it took them more than 5 minutes to write down the phone #3. i asked the shift manager what his name was and he shut the sliding4. I was made to wait really long to even get an opportunity to talk to the shift manager.4. All this happened for more than 10 minutes when cars lined up behind us.5. They were also laughing inside the store when all of this was going on.
Ive only been here one time and I went through the drive thru. In my only experience I had the whole family with me. Everyone ordered food. The young man that took our order did an OK job. Wait time was typical. Not too quick but it didnt take forever for what was ordered.
Do not go to this Taco Bell, they dont pay attention, and they dont care. It seems like the order is never right here. They always forget something. Tonight was icing on the cake as I almost ended up in the hospital.I placed an order through the app for the family, picked it up and went home. There were onions all through my burrito that was ordered w/o onion. Im allergic, had to use a damn epipen. Plus they forgot the quesadilla. Not a tough order to get right.
4 of my coworkers and I went to eat breakfast at this Taco Bell and every one of us got sick with food poisoning from the food. Two of my coworkers had to leave work early, and the rest of us had stomach problems and were running to the restrooms all day. I will never be going back to this place
They cant keep up with the amount of business they get. I work close to this place and hardly ever come here but when I do, the line is almost always really long & it moves REALLY slow. Not only that, but if you no longer have time or just simply dont want to wait in the incredibly long line anymore... Oh Well... your stuck, Since the drive through is only 1 closed in lane. Theres no way to move out of it once your in it, unless you back up
Employees cant read receipts, orders frequently wrong. Drive thru guy added a charge for a large drink despite my not ordering one. Told him at the order screen it was wrong. He said no it wasnt. Told him at the window. He said no it wasnt. Gave him the receipt, he looked at it. He said no it wasnt wrong. Ordered a medium drink at 1.00. Additional charge for a large Pepsi, 1.99. Dont know why he couldnt see that was wrong. 1 star for overall service at this location, 2nd star cause it at least tasted ok today.
I asked him to put no cheese on my burritos and tacos and they did it it was phenomenal. To have somebody at Taco Bell actually listen and do what you tell them to to your order usually doesnt happen at Taco Bell. I am lactose intolerant that is why I could not get cheese 😢
Mediocre experience. Might have caught them on an off day as it appeared their lobby was closed in the middle of the day. I believe they were having work done on the soda fountain system as I was given a can of warm mountain dew as my beverage with my meal. Food was lukewarm at best and incorrectly prepared. Location is relatively new so perhaps its just growing pains.
This is by far the worst taco bell I have ever came across. They havent even been open a year and it is already terrible. They NEVER get my food right. I swear, like 2 times in a row the food came out UNCOOKED. My mexi melt was more like a mexi freeze. If they do get the order right, they only filled your nacho bag half way or forgot to put meat on your taco. I cant stand their tomatoes, yet even though I order my tacos without them AND it says it on the screen, I get the food home and sit down to unwrap my chalupa, then BAM! A mountain of tomatoes fall out on me. Even though I live within walking distance to this taco bell, I will be driving to Hamilton road when I get that late night craving from now on.
An employee argued with me about my order at the drive thru. I ordered some soft taco supremes with extra beef and they just gave me soft tacos with added sour cream. No extra beef. While its basically the same taco it isnt what I requested and he argued with me to the point where I said screw it and drove an extra 30 minutes to another one in Gahanna. Go there instead, this one isnt worth your money.

2022-05-15Of course, one must keep in mind that this is a fast food joint. With that said, I received excellent service at this location and the food was on point as well (however, this is not a full endorsement since quality is often crew dependent). Now, I was helped in the drive through lane by a gentleman named Nickolas. He emanated with joy and a sense of humor. Many times upon arriving at food joints like this, the customer must worry if the unknown person behind the speaker wants them dead. Not for this trip. Nick had a great personality and made the ordering process fun with well placed jokes, information, and accents to accompany it all. This review is really being writing because when someone is doing a job, doing it well, and with an excellent attitude, they should be recognized for it. So, if you stop at this location, ask for Nick and hopefully he is having a good day....and heck, if he isnt, brighten up his day with a great attitude yourself.

2021-11-23I appreciate they are trying to stay open with a staffing shortage. But after waiting 25 minutes for my food I had to throw the slime taco away at home. It was completely saturated with grease that leaked on my car seat

2022-07-23We stopped in Wednesday evening and pleasantly greeted, our order taken. Staff was friendly, place was clean. I am very picky and had a bad experience at a TB in Sunbury. So, I did look at my food before leaving the counter, the staff asked me if everything was okay. Our order was correct and fine. I appreciate they asked.

2022-04-24They were pretty skimpy with the burrito content, but taco bell is taco bell - taste doesnt change much from one to another. Oh yeah they forgot to put my hot sauces in the bag again. I never notice until its too late :/

2022-07-09*Disclaimer* This review is based on multiple trips to this restaurant over time, as I have been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt with all of the staffing issues due to COVID-19.With that being said, PLEASE take your money to another Taco Bell Drive-thru Location. This location time after time, after time, after time has not only failed to get so many of my orders incorrect, but has failed to give me food items at all. One time we order a plain cheese quesadilla and some nachos, (not a hard order at all) we got home opened the bag realized 1. There was no nacho cheese, and 2. Our quesadilla was a grilled tortilla with nothing inside of it. On another trip, we ordered a beefy 5 layer burrito that turned out to be nothing but refried beans. One time we ordered multiple items and the employees just straight up forgot to put the rest of the order in the bag altogether. Its just extremely frustrating. I live in New Albany, I want to support the people that work in the restaurant, thats why I kept coming back, but I cant anymore, From waiting 15-20 min in the drive thru line after being the only car, only to have my order not be correct AGAIN is a slap to the face. Ill drive the extra few miles to Sunbury Road, or Stoneridge, just to hope that those restaurants can accurate fill the order. No one was rude, so Ill give New Albany kudos on that, but the constant inaccurate orders will have me going somewhere else sadly :(

2022-07-13Always seems to be the same guy at drive thru window and he is great - always super friendly. I really like this location. Great team, gets the food out hot and fast, always accurate with the order.

2022-06-28I ordered tacos and bean burritos to keep my order simple. The tacos had less than a 1/4 of fillings, which I was able to combine into 1 eatable taco, and the bean burrito had beans, but no cheese, onions or sauce. Worst experience I have ever had.

2022-04-15Im posting from the line where ive, no exagerrating, now waited over 45 mins in. There was maybe 5 cars in line when i arrived. Im stuck in drive through hell and cant leave because of the curb trapping me in. This taco bell is good service and generous portions, so if this is a staffing issue theyre advertising they pay 12 an hour, meanwhile gas atations on the same street advertise 17. The problem isnt the staff here its clearly greedy upper managment. Ive seen more than double the cars that started in line turn around and leave. They cant even be greedy right losing so much business

2022-05-23So this taco bell is hit or miss. You either come there and wait forever in the drive thru or they are closed at 2pm on a weekday due to short staff. Other times its business as usual you never know what your going to get
