I have purchased 7 , yes that is correct 7 vehicles from Mrs. Amber Gunn in the last 3 years. Its hard to find a good sales associate and I personally think I have one of the best. She does her best to put you in the car you want and if she cant she doesnt waste time blowing smoke up your bottom just comes up with solutions. I greatly admire a straight shooter. I want buy from anybody else...

The salesperson met me at the door and asked if I needed help. I told her that i was looking at a 2022 Colorado and she brought he truck up. She went over every detail that the truck and went on a test drive. She was extremely helpful through the whole buying process.

If I could give a negative Stars I would. I had an appointment scheduled today (4/9) with Natasha at the Greenville location to purchase my lease since it is at maturity. I gave her the print out from GM Finance which stated my purchase price then she came back from her managers office with a price almost $3000 more & every add-on she could think of. I was shocked and angry then I went into the managers office to say we will deal directly with GM Finance, NOT them - the TRUST factor was GONE! Then she had the nerve to text me that it was an honest mistake - she had taken the printed form with the buy-out quote to her sales manager! Then she texted that she was confused that we had worked together to close this. Well I am not confused, feeling as if they were trying to get as much as they could from me instead of what I had previously asked for on the phone with her. She then texted again that she would sell us our leased vehicle for the written amount from GM Finance and the tax amount, and a $500 transaction fee. This was after we had left - I will NOT return to SVG again. She also stated the credit inquiries would be soft inquiries, but I checked my credit report and have Two HARD inquires! Lied to and 45 minutes - wasted!!!

They advertise a no-hassle 7-day return policy. But good luck getting them to honor said policy. We tried returning a vehicle on the 7th day and were told they dont take back vehicles over 5 years old. Then they O the nerve to contact us to see if we knew anyone looking for a car, and if so to send them their way. When we told them we wouldnt send anyone to them considering the they dont abide by their advertised policies, the response was that the car needed to be back by the 6th day and we brought it in on the 7th day. So their policies change depending on the transaction. Not to mention there were $2500 in add-ons we had to drive 1 1/2 hours back there to get taken off. You would think that the owner would have learned not to do these kinds of things after being named in a lawsuit for it at his previous employer. Of course, he brought some of the same employees from there to his new venture.Do yourself a favor, prior to purchasing a vehicle from ANY SVG Limited Liability Company, Google Steve VanGorder and Jeff Schmitt around 2013. I just wish my husband would have been alerted prior to purchasing a vehicle from them. Now we have a $300 payment for a lawn ornament, considering it needs thousands of dollars in repairs. PLEASE take my advice and do your research!!!
You tell them before hand you dont want any extra stuff added. Then when you go to sign the paperwork they ninja add all the extras on. Blaine then tries to hide it by just giving you the papers and a pen. Every other dealership is honest and goes over everything.
Been trying to get a GAP refund started for the last 3 months, first time I stopped in on Saturday after calling on Wednesday to be told the bank was closed for paperwork(obviously given enough time to get the paperwork prior to showing up). Called around June 9th to be sent to voice-mail, left message and no call back. Called approximately two weeks ago Blaine was not in and was going to be sent up to her manager and was supposed to get a call back on that day, got nothing. Terrible customer service all the way around
Got a 2019 charger and had Alyssa as my sales person, first time buying and she made the experience so much more enjoyable than I thought it was gonna be & sent me home with a car I really enjoy super quick.

I was very happy with the customer service from the whole svg family today. So much I left with happy tears in my eyes! It was a very hard day (my 3 year old was rushed to have stitches) I managed to make it to my appointment and the star of the family was the young buck! Don’t let age deceive you. This kid did an amazing job and was able to help guide and protect me. Special thanks to Gabriel Addington! I’ve had multiple brain surgeries and short term memory loss. I went there to trade my chevy Trax in for a chevy equinox..I said I wanted an even trade with a awd and low mileage. They said they could help me out..went there they tried selling me a equinox that had 107,000 miles on it and a older model and then trying selling me a equinox that was way older then mine with still high mileage and an older vehicle...I dont want payments and I paid cash for my Trax.. they just kept pushing to buy these old model equinox something was right there..I want a new model not a older one with high mileage and issues..they say they will help u out and u get there and there attitude is totally different..its just not right..
They will lie to get you to buy a vehicle will tell you the payments is 66 months then later you’ll find out it’s for 75 months plus they add stuff you don’t want and they don’t honor the 7 day love it or return it

Mostly good experience but the car I bought had a car remote with a dead battery. When I went back to the dealership to get the battery replaced the salesperson was very unfriendly and difficult to work with.
Our experience was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Not a ton of sales pressure like some other dealerships. Answered our questions with no problems and honestly as far as I could tell. There was a bit more pressure to buy the extended warranty but Im sure theyre interested in protecting my purchase and of course Im sure theres a percentage earned on these. 😉So far we have no complaints.Thank You Chad Harter and the rest of the team @ SVG-Greenville.

We feel they went over and above to get the battery replaced in our Bolt even though we didnt purchase it through them. (they were not selling them at that time) Everyone I worked with was friendly. The manager was very helpful in getting the Bolt to Washington Courthouse where SVG had certified techs to change the Battery. I would never hesitate to go there again and would recommend them to anyone.

It’s a great easy experience until they screw you over with a sky high interest rate. You give them the bank you wanna go with and they say the bank “denied” the loan. So they don’t ask if you have a co-signer to help you get the interest you want.DO NOT go with Ally bank. That’s who they deal with and will screw you right over!The sales rep Natasha was nice.The business and financial people are awful!They try to take of you but they really want money in they’re pocket!I do not recommend SVG motors.

My parents had purchased their car at SVG and when I was looking to buying a car, they immediately suggested SVG (my dad does auto collision repair and I trust him). My sales consultant was Amber- who my mother had been in contact with for me and when we arrived, she was very helpful and sweet. Overall, I am very pleased with the customer service. With a 23 year old coming in with her parents, they treated me like an adult and explained everything to me with no BS. Blaine was also helpful and nice. I love my chevy equinox!

Pretty bad when their employees use their personal Facebook accounts to try to sell vehicles by advertising them on local rummage groups on Facebook. I mean what are you too cheap to pay for advertising that you have to get it free on Facebook?
Brought my car in for check engine light found it it was due to an update to the ecm regarding the O2 sensor having a slow response I was very unhappy that I had to pay 142 dollars for an update to my computer there shouldnt be a charge for something like if the part isnt bad and dont understand why I wouldnt be informed of something like this from Chevrolet very disappointed wouldnt be has upset if the part was bad and needed replaced but 142 dollars for an update SMH

I have to say, Ive sold cars and been in sales my whole life. I cane to SVG because of Blaine, but he had Skylar assist me with the sales process. Not only did they get me out if my upside down Lexus but they put me in a brand new vehcile with reasonable terms. Ill never buy another csr from anyone else. Talked to Natasha for a while about wanting a different car with a lower interest rate and more features for my money... I finally made it in to see her; she found me exactly the car I wanted!! All the features I didnt have on my other car; and 3 row seatings!! I had a 22% interest rate before walking in there. By the time I left; I had an amazing car worth every penny; and only a 5% interest rate!!! She does amazing work; she did something I didnt think was possible, and Im very happy!! Zero stars!!! Not really happy the the service in Greenville. I know I dont have the best credit however, they brought an offer to me I declined saying that the payment was to high and I didnt need all the extra stuff they wanted to add. They also gave me a really low offer for my current vehicle. They then came back with another offer that was $100.00 more than the first offer as well as having all the extra stuff still included in the price. They didnt even try dropping the price of the vehicle I was interested in. I would really like to give zero stars. I could also hear them in the managers office talking derogatory towards me and what payment I would like to be at, instead I wasted 5 hours to be just treated poorly. I would also add that the salesperson Alyssa was nice and just delivering what management was giving her to bring to me.

Recently had a tire go bad on a vehicle we bought (it’s a Ford from a different dealership) that had a purchased warranty on it, John was so great to work with and took care of all our needs when another dealership in town turned us away because they didn’t want to work with the perfectly fine warranty we had. She helped me find a great new car, where I was the first owner, without having any credit with a co-signer with average to below average credit. First oil change on my 2021 Terrain. I also had to purchase a NEW Tire and have it put on. Everything went smoothly. I requested they check the latest recall on Terrain Tires, they did, however mine were not included in the recall.
Amber was very helpful and very pleasant to work with. They made buying my new to me truck very easy.
I set up an appointment to see a vehicle, drove 40 miles and it wasnt there. The call center at another site was unaware that the car had been loaned out for an all day trial. They said the call center had no way of knowing. I gave a few stars because it was a beautiful day for a drive and get that things dont work out sometimes. I do suggest SVG create a way of knowing when their cars wont be there. Potential customers should call the local lot and disregard the texts, emails and FB messages about the vehicle and appointments.

Drove 35 miles to buy a new truck that I was told was there and ready for delivery, when I arrived it was not. Said it was a least 30 days out. How disappointing. Obviously its not known what they have or the ploy to get you there then try and sell you something else. Didnt work on me, I walked out and will never go back.

My mother bought a car. The sales associates were awesome. The facilities clean. They were excited. 14 days later svg calls saying the loan didnt go through after all and wants the car back. My mother investigates, calls loan servicer and they say loan is fine and that they are still waiting on a couple final paperwork touches from svg. SVG calls back again not long after, my mom told them that the loan is still good. Svg doesnt care what she has to say, says they want to car back by 2. My parents were over 3 hours away for a weekend away at this point. No way to return it by that time even if they wanted to. Svg proceeds to call the police on her which does nothing since my parents have insurance, tags, and put a huge down payment on it with no faulty payments and it was past the 10 days for svg to recall the car. My mom said she would return the car if she recieves down payment/ money for tags. We will probably have to go to small claims court if its not resolved. Ive never heard of such a thing nor heard people threaten in a way that they did. Crazy.

Terrible I drove 40min to the dealer just to not get approved. They talk a good game but I wouldn’t recommend them. Oh and not to mention they set me a an appointment for today but they texted me and told me the car was sold today then called me back a couple hours lettin me it never got sold.. bad experience for sure

I am not happy at all about SVG in Greenville. I told them I did not want that extra protection for paint and interior of the car but they added it in anyways. I’ve heard a lot of people say they do this without permission. I’ll never buy another car from them again.
I met Amber at the SVG dealership in Greenville, Ohio in July of 2018. I was unable to get anything done, but that was because of my finances at that time. However, my experience at SVG with Amber was relaxed and professionally pleasant. She kept in contact with me but she did not hound me as most salespeople would. I came back in a week ago and spoke with her and we began to work on a vehicle. Success. She was, and always has been very supportive and helpful and I am most grateful. I will recommend to my friends to see Amber here at SVG.
My experience here was EXCELLENT! Kayla is great. She makes you feel so welcome and she’s very friendly. With it being my very first time ever buying a car off of a lot it was super easy and doesn’t take that long at all. My salesperson was great! I feel bad rating the dealer ship badly because he had such a great personality. I went to the manager wanting a car from a different location. He said he would get it for me so I could look at it. Just a few days later I get messages from my salesman saying it’s sold. No offense but sounds like horrible customer service to me. Don’t tell your customers one thing and not deliver. It’s bad business and gives them a bad impression. I’ve done my homework on this dealership and most of the cars they get from auction have been wrecked so just an fyi if you plan to buy a car from them do your homework so you don’t get screwed over. Thankfully I didn’t end purchasing a vehicle from SVG and don’t ever intend to.

Salesperson Tyler Mangen was great! Very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in and very polite & kind! Mr. VanGorter was not at all the person he portrays in his commercials. He didnt even speak to us as he walked by us twice. Not the least bit appreciative that we were potential customers. We were offered $500 trade in for our vehicle. We told him wed received a much higher offer from another local dealer. His response was Well we dont mark up our prices like they do! Really mature.... One more small thing. He pulled up beside the vehicle we test drove in our vehicle after driving it. I was sitting in the vehicles passenger side & our doors would have collided had we opened them at the same time. I motioned for him to go first so he did. Without as much as a smile or thanks he got out of the vehicle & just walked away. A gentleman/good business person would have said thank you and opened my door after he got out. Manners go a long way in a small town....

Service department was great !! Made appt. online...they confirm with txt msgs. O-L-F & tire rotation done very quicky. They had to order some parts & didnt want me to drive my vehicle, for safety reasons---so they put me in a loaner vehicle for over night!! Good communication --- and they always call & give u an estimate before performing any work that is not scheduled. Definitely recommend SVG !!

Great experience and amazing deal on a brand new truck for the same payment that many other dealerships advertise for a small car! Amber Slusher was our sales person and she was very kind, honest, patient, knowledgeable and never pushy. My husband and I had our 1 year old with us at the dealership and Amber knew our time was valuable and made sure everything was ready to go with no waiting, great customer service! Love my new car Natasha helped me get into it very nice very friendly and went above and beyond to get me into my 2021 trailblazer the only downside was that I had to put a down-payment even though I had said I didnt have the money to my grandma cosigned for me and put the down-payment so I could get the car I truly love my car and thanks to Natasha and the manager for finding me a bank that would loan me the money to get the car it drives like a dream so much better than that beat up pt cruiser I was driving 😀its my favorite color and I constantly find myself staring at it its a beautiful aqua blue which is my favorite color 💙and very hard to find in a car this car is very comfortable to drive and just goes for miles without problems where as I had to floor the gas in my pt cruiser and still wait bc the engine and transmission was starting to fail again thank yall I definitely would recommend anyone go to Greenville for all their car needs and ask for Natasha Swank 💙❤
Interestingly SVG is thanking me for posting a 5-star review when I never did..... so that is one more thing to add to the list.... I want to begin by saying I was able to get a vehicle loan through a different company thankfully because I was very discouraged and upset after walking out of SVG in Greenville. My interaction began with an application over the phone where I was approved. I went into the office which was not in my town and was after an hour or so... settled up on a vehicle that was within my budget. I was extremely happy even though it wasnt exactly what I wanted and was so thankful with how well they worked with me. The vehicle was not on the lot and we made arrangements for them to bring the vehicle to the lot the next day and I was going to come and pick it up after the paperwork was done. I called the next day to see if the vehicle was there and they said there was a holdup and it would be there that evening so we made arrangements for the next day. I went in the next day and the truck was not there and it had been sold. Needless to say I was extremely discouraged but they said that they would put me in something and after having me test drive two vehicles and making me wait for four hours told me there was nothing they could do. I will never recommend SVG to anyone and I will never go back. on top of all this my family and I really like the commercials and would sing his catchy songs throughout our house now I dont even want to see him on my TV. I cant give enough praise and credit to SVG in Greenville!I was super sketchy of having our credit ran, and the whole process. Ive read the horrible reviews! I was turned down this week from Joe Johnson in Troy. Told what I wanted wasnt possible. I continued my search. A lady named Lacy answered all my emails and questions. Worked threw our busy schedule. We walked in seen a familiar face. Cory! He helped my husband a few months ago with his truck purchase .Amazing with him. Once we walked in, Cory remembered my husband and was as nice as could be .Acted like old friends. We probably spent more time than needed there, but when youre around good people the conversation happens.The manager Brian, would come and check to make sure everything was as it needed to be. He greeted us, and extremely polite.The financing manager, Blaine was amazing too! We were pushing closing time and they all took their time and still laughed. Nobody rushed us, nobody was rude. Blaine took time to explain warranty coverage, and the best rates possible.Even at the end, Cory still showed me how to work all the little gadgets. He had the signature. He was off the clock. He didnt care! He took that extra time to make sure I was ok and comfortable. Thats what matters to me. When I walk in the door, that Im comfortable, and I was from beginning to end!

Had cash in hand to buy one of their vehicles. Called on multiple different vehicles, they were either lost, or they had no idea what vehicle I was talking about. Left a message for someone to call me back about another car, again no response. I have never experienced such ineptness in my entire life. I will never shop there, nor will I send anyone there. I hope you all can learn to do better, and he better.

Other than a remote start install taking over 7 hours, On my way home... all the components fell down blocking my brake pedal while driving, and not getting a response back after emailing the manager at svg about my issue... Id say it wasnt to terrible especially for a $370 service.

I worked with Jonathan and Amber earlier this summer on a Tahoe purchase. Not only was I impressed with the customer service at the time, but I was blown away at the follow up AFTER the sale. Amber reached out to me a few times over the two months following to see if I had any questions or if she could help with anything. One time I did have a question, just about some settings on the vehicle, and she was able to coach me through the fix. Living in Springboro, I have endless dealership options across Dayton and Cincinnati, but would drive to Greenville for Jonathan and Amber every single time.

2022-01-28Highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced here! My husband was overdue for an oil change and they got me in so fast. Drop off was so easy! I asked about tires and they gave me many different options with no pressure to buy at all. Tim and John were very polite and I was even greeted by one of the salespeople. We will be servicing all of our vehicles (Chevy and Toyota) at SVG Chevrolet in Greenville, OH.

2021-10-04Very happy with the service we received in buying our used car. Amber Gunn was very patient with us as we looked at several cars and very knowledgeable about each one we looked at. She and several others even stayed after hours on a Saturday evening to finalize our purchase. We never felt rushed through the whole process. She even got in the car before we drove away and showed me how to operate the features. We were very impressed, and we will definitely be back when we are ready for our next car purchase!

Even though the Trailblazer I wanted was still in transit during my first visit, I was able to put a hold on it and Alyssa kept me up to date and even sent me an awesome video once the car arrived at the dealership.
