DO NOT move to Sussex Square Apartments. The apartments are very OLD and OUTDATED. The rent is way TOO HIGH for the condition of these apartments. Most importantly, the apartment management DOES NOT CARE about residents(well...maybe if you are white they do). My husband and I and a few other former residents have witnessed management treating us differently and not taking our concerns/issues seriously. Only when things escalate and white neighbors complain is anything addressed. Even the last reviewer stated when she came just to check out sussex apartments for the 1st time about a month ago she somehow felt unwanted even discriminated against because of how she looked. So theres yet another person saying the same thing about how they were treated. We all cant be crazy. The other neighbors moved out and the neighbors before that did as well. Bottom line..everyone wants a place to call home that will care about your concerns and you having peace of mind instead of just collecting your rent every month. I hate to write a bad review about a place we live currently but this is just the truth and Im entitled to share it. DO NOT RENT FROM SUSSEX SQUARE you will be disappointed.

I should have done this earlier. Before I relocated back to Michigan I lived in Sussex Square for almost 5 years. decent place, good staff including Kristie and Linda. They were always willing to help. They were pretty timely and responsive to maintenance issues. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I hope all is well.

Absolute WORST apartments in Columbus. Piss poor maintenance. Rent is way too high to have leaky ceilings and no follow through. Linda always says she will fix things but NEVER follows through and when you ask again she plays like she forgot to put in the work order. Save your money and move elsewhere. THESE APARTMENTS ARE NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.Ive seen trap houses with better upkeep.

Management apparently lies to potential residents . The apartment interiors are out dated and overpriced. The dining room wall has a rotary phone for the intercom. Severely out dated and over priced! The garden buildings are old and dirty. They charge $100 if you put in an application and decide not to take the apartment even if you never got the chance to see the apartment until your move in date.

The review I posted 2 weeks ago was deleted. they raised my rent $80.00 this year and $50.00 last. They have done the same for multple others who have been here for a lo g time. Its like we are being punished for staying which saves them money and for paying our rent on time. Corporate had to sanction this very I fair rental increaseI am happy however They are now .working on sucking up water from last 2 rains out of my carpet. And working on long term resolution of the soaked carpet.Thank you Mike and Gladys for being responsive. Replaced garbage disposal too.

So i drove all the way from west columbus to check this place out. The lady was on the phone so i waited a couple minutes. No greeting or nothing. I then asked how much longer will she be on the phone. She said she dont know so i just left. I kind of felt unwanted there or discriminated because i wear a headscarf. Thats okay though they lost business and a potential rentor.

This place is a joke...first of all the manager Cathy is a big liar so dont believe nothing this women say...second the place got every insect u can name ..the maintenance is lazy and sometimes he wont show at all...soon as someone moves out they move someone else in and dont clean no carpet or nothing....theres mold everywhere and in the summer ur apartment is hot and in the winter ur apartment is cold due to the old front and back door..sometimes when it rain u might find worms on the floor ..SAVE Ur MONEY AND MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE......the other reviews are by the staff..

I live at Sussex square and it is fun and friends live there
