Our bathtub was broken it had a hole in the bottom, a plastic piece was placed over it, covered with some type of shower liner, the water drain was clog because it took forever for the water to drain. There wasnt enough towels and the restroom could have been cleaned better.....just saying
I had no issues with stay and the people at the front desk are very nice. The room I had was decent but the bathroom wasnt pleasant at all. Water damage and paint chipping off the wall near the tub. Rust all over the shower curtain rack. Needs a little tlc. I would stay here again if they give it a little attention.

I booked a room with free breakfast two nights but there was no breakfast. You feel you want a refund once you see the room, the photos are showing the rooms have a carpet but they do not have any as they told me. After 1st night when we woke up the floor was wet and was slippery which is dangerous for my kids I told the front desk to move as to the other room, but she was rude and yelling at me and she said if you make other complainant we will call police front of my kids. Immediately I checked out and I didn’t stayed the other night with terrible hotel with full charge. Also, there is one room wall in first floor fell down looks like by car hitting.LAIR, RUDE STAFF, UNSAFF PLACE
The room was disgusting there was cigarette burn holes in the comforter and in the chairs. Holes in the walls and they were yellow tinted and stain the sheets were yellow. Toilet seat was chipped and had what looked like paint coming up from it and the smell was just horrible. Said that they couldn’t refund us our money until a manager was on site but 5 minutes later the owner came out and they still did nothing. MOST HORRIBLE PLACE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DUMP TO ANYONE
The room was ok..not worth 120 a night for a dirty jacuzzi In room. Yes!! I had to clean it..to use it😔Staff was unhelpful..stayed 2 nights. And couldnt get clean towels...the day checkout staff was absolute worst encounter I ever had...she accused me of damaging hotel property.. (pink hair dye on a towel) ( Ive never had pink hair a day in my life or any dye in room for that matter) she was being NASTY... refuse to let me back in room that I paid for...to access her damage claims at 9 in morning even though checkout was 11... kept part of my cash deposit after dam near 30 mins she refunded partial payment of the cash deposit...the absolute WORST experience ever staying at hotel....Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here!!!

Was comfy and clean. A silly detail, but would have loved to have larger pillows lol. They were wonderfully fluffy, but more square in shape as opposed to a typical standard pillow. Location is immediately off the highway, so access is great and easy to find. Mc Donalds right across the street, along with a Speedway at the light.

Start with checking in on reserved room. What ever the problem with the 1 person before me, I finally got to confirm my reservation after at least 10 minutes.Got my room card, went to go in, with my luggage upstairs (no elevator). Card doesnt work. Back down stair, with my luggage. Agent comes with me. Tried the card. Nope.He then goes about 7 rooms Back, knocks on door. Another person comes out and gets card to work. Ugh..Let the pictures say the rest....

No pillow cases on the pillows and No towels either. Room smelled of smoke. 2 Lamps in room didnt work. Coffee pot had to be moved to the working lamp. Pillows were so lumpy and uncomfortable. Door was left unlocked with the deadbolt lock. Just felt like the room was never cleaned. This was my go to hotel in Middletown. Always been comfortable here. I wont be back.

Came in late and because of some of the negative reviews I asked to look at room. It was clean. Had a very good nights sleep. Mattress was very comfortable. Lots of hot water for a shower. Lady at front desk was very helpful getting us checked in. Room has been remodeled with hardwood like flooring, bathroom has newer sink and countertops. A good value for us.

This is a horrible place to stay at it is infested with bedbugs. I also had to take my friend to the hospital, who was sharing the room with me, because she thought she may have had covid19. We got back to the hotel a little after 12noon and tried to get our personal items and they wouldnt let us back in to get them. We were told that we had to pay for another day when we was leaving out that afternoon! They refused to give us our stuff back!! And the front desk woman was extremely rude!! If I could give it less than one star I would. Do not stay at this bug infested hotel!!
I stayed at Super 8 Hotel in Middletown Ohio. I was visiting my daughter and my first grandchild for six days. I needed to stay an additional day. I made the reservation the front desk the night before. I wasnt told I had to pay in advance they had my credit card information and if I would have been aware or reminded that I needed to pay in advance I would have done so. I was woke up at 11:20am by a crazy crazed manager threatening me, accusing me, of being drunk all kinds of nutty things. I chose to stay at Super 8 hotel an additional night spending my money just to be embarrassed drug down to the downstairs to pay for the additional night I have never been treated so disrespectful in my life. That manager needs to go cuz Im sure this company does not want to be represented like that. Word-of-mouth is a dangerous thing and Im telling everyone I know what happened to me on every social media and every trip service vacation service book.com app Expedia and so on...I am not letting this go. I am telling everybody know. I called their corporate office. I dont want any compensation thats not the point the point is in my pain of losing my cousin I got treated like a criminal. Enjoyed our stay there. Beds were clean and comfortable. People were cordial. However there was a bug we killed on floor.
Worst experience of my life. Blood stains and / or feces smeared on the walls, cigarette holes and stained linens, the smell of the room was enough to make you gag. The bed linens had not been changed or washed as they smelled like 8 packs of cigarettes. You could smell marijuana all the way down the hall as well as hear everything going on in the rooms. The staff was less than accommodating when given complaints about the room. Definitely NOT a family friendly environment...Save your self and DO NOT STAY HERE!

This location could use a remodel, and some stock in WD-40.Staff was very friendly and professional.The bed, ac unit, and probably anything with fabric still contains the dust and skin cells of travelers from the original guests.The dust bunnies that collect on the hardwood floors are good reason to bring socks.However the tissue paper was rather soft and you are close to Kroger. 1 star each.The poor bed was rode hard and put up wet. Definitely seen better days, and no there is no waffle iron. Just room temp egos and a toaster.
I walked into the room looked around and the room was HORRIBLE!!! Burn whiles in the blanket. Dirty and it smelled bad. I went straight to the front desk and told them I needed a refund . I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy!
1st I was charged a 60 dollar deposit the rooms were poorly maintained then I was accused of smoking in which I dont smoke and the property manager kept the deposit off grounds of being accused of smoking. I will never book another trip at any Wyndham.
The room was very well cleaned. The bed was comfortable. It can get a bit loud you can hear most through the walls and doors. Breakfast was fine nothing spectacular but decent. The heat in my room made the smoke detector go off so I was left cold through the night. But overall okay stay.

No elevators so if you have multiple bags and you are upstairs you will get a workout. The rooms upstairs are very bad holes in bed spreads, bathrooms are awful. And bathroom door was broken. Light fixtures didnt work. Telephone was broken could use the landline for incoming or outgoing calls.
The air conditioner didnt work very well. Had it full blast and it was warm and muggy. Fitted sheet had holes and top sheet had nasty stains. Thank goodness I bring my own blanket. For the price I wasnt expecting much but thought the above items would be in better condition. Okay for one night.
After looking at all of the Wyndam hotels in the this area online this one seemed to be a nice place. I called the hotel this morning to make sure there were hair dryers in the rooms, I was advised by the woman that answered the phone that each room had a hair dryer. When I arrived and went to my room I was in utter shock. The rooms are not nice at all. My room smelled like someone urinated in the room. There was no hair dryer, the refrigerators ice cube compartment is totally full of ice, and the fridge space is not very cold at all because of the build up of ice, the pillows on the bed are so over due to be replaced, they are flat and dirty. I did call to the front desk for another pillow and was advised there were no more, yet a few minutes later when I went to get ice the front desk was giving someone else a pillow. I asked the front desk person how is it that when I called a few minutes ago you had no pillows. The girl responded that they were exchanging her dirty pillow for a new one. All the pillows are dirty. You have to slam the bathroom door to get it to close, and the shower curtain holder is falling off the wall. I will not come back to this hotel.

Rooms were clean, over all experience was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem we had during our stay was the hot water in the shower didnt stay warm for very long, due to multiple guests showering in other rooms at the same time. The issue was resolved by early morning.
Nice motel, but in need of renovation. Pillows too small, carpets need replacement, bathroom door has a hole in it. Bathroom is clean. I have stayed at numerous Motel 8s on this trip around the country, this one needs extra TLC. Staff very friendly.

Booked three rooms and was only there for 10mins before seeing bed bugs, took a video and even brought the bedbug to the manager lorie who was on duty on July 11th 2020. She lied and claimed there was no bed begs and also the owner lied with an alleged report saying no bed bugs was found after an inspection that was done in one room out of 3. They don’t want to offer a refund and I’m very upset and will not allow them to get away with this. They will be hearing from my lawyer!!!!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!

Fast/Friendly easy check in. Hotel is very clean. New carpet throughout. Bed linens are clean and new. Mattress in great shape and comfortable. Large lot can easily hold 10-15 semi trucks. Easy on/off I75.
This was awful! We asked for a bedroom with 2 beds as we had our daughter with us and he sent us a room and it had one so I came back downstairs and he sends us to another and it has only 1 so I came back down again and he sends me to another this time on the main floor and this one the dead bold is locked so back I go. He comes with us and unlocks it, the room is satisfactory for 1 night stay and leaving early the next morning but if you are on the main floor take note that you can hear everything I mean EVERYTHING gong on upstairs above. Whoever had the room above us walked around their room in shoes literally the whole night, from 11:30-5:30 back and forth back and forth. Needless to say we got no sleep.
Find another hotel. Do not stay here. Rooms are dirty,bed linens are ripped and stained. It smells really bad. Also people were making a porn movie down the hall, drug deals going on all night. The lady at the front desk was very rude. I have told my friends not to stay here, and actually a lot have cancelled and switched to a different hotel. We are a part of the paranormal community and we have passed the word through it to not stay here. Horrible horrible hotel.
It was okay. Hot Tub was very nice, there were ants everywhere however. A/C worked well but very very old school. Not terrible but the neighbors/tenants seem to live there and they are all confrontational and make you feel uncomfortable.
Room 215:Chain lock on the door is broken off and missing – no way to secure the door at night.Shower doesnt drain so you wind up standing in dirty water.Alarm clock is obviously broken – none of the digits light up to form a number. Anyone looking at the clock would know that it does not work.Two days out of my four-day stay they had no coffee for the room.Staff was helpful and tried to do everything they could to help with very limited resources.There is a leadership failure at this motel. The customer should not be the last step in the quality control process.Again this is a leadership failure, not a staff issue.Spend an extra buck or two and stay somewhere else.

We arrived and the lady at the desk started touching my daughters hair, weird because we literally just walked in and she is a stranger...second, our fridge didnt work and the chain on our door literally fell off. Not to mention their brrakfast is just 2 types of plain cereal and white bread or waffles. That is not contentintal breakfast so we had to go to the mcds instead, as I dont eat cereal or just bread with syrup. They didnt even have milk for the cereal. My fridge, I fixed it cause they told me it would be hours before someone could. And then same with the door, but they did come and fix that and were super nice when fixing it. The place is not worth the $50 a night that I paid but it was worth being with my family and not having to drive home that weekend. Everything else with the hotel as fsr as cleanliness was fine.

If I could I would put no stars! The place smelled horrible when you walked in and there were no screens on the windows to air out the rooms. There were dead roaches in the bathroom. Holes in the blanket and sheets. The tv didnt work half the time. The fridge was tiny and froze everything we put in it. Our cards didnt work on the entry doors half the stay. The free WiFi wouldnt work. The pictures they put up for the site is not what the rooms look like. In the description it said they have an iron for your clothes in the rooms but they didnt. Same goes for blow dryer that was supposed to be in the bathroom. It was not a clean place at all! Washing everything at the laundry mat before going home.
I was very surprised to learn this is a smoking motel. I dont care it you call this a nonsmoking room, it still reeks. Hallway smells, my room stinks and I cant breath. The only good thing is the price and the bed is comfortable. But I wont be back.

This is by far the worst hotel we ever stayed in. Their prices are expensive, the front desk people are very rude, and the roomed smelled like mold. Mold growing the tub and the room was outright nasty. On top of this they think they are entitled to ask for a high rate.

Ignore all the uppity people saying all the negative stuff. For a $60 a night hotel this place is worth every dime. Yes the lobby and facia could use some updating but the rooms were great. Only areas of room improvment I seen were the blankets on the bed were a buit worn and torn and the tub bottom was a bit stained. The only other area of improvement is the breakfast it was a bit lacking but there is a McDs right across the street. Me and my family drove down to hit the flea markets and we rented 3 room and both were great for thre price, all other hotels in thr area were $100 plus.

Kids were knocking on out door and running away until 2 a.m. they were running the halls banging on walls all night. When I asked the staff to say something I got the response of just give them 10 more min. I asked for late check out since we are gold members with wyndham rewards and were told they dont do that. When we asked for managers name she would not give it or his number. Hot water didnt work tv didnt work holes in sheets and just rude staff. Do yourself a favor stay somewhere else !!

Rooms were a little outdated but the staff was friendly and even gave us a discount after what we went through at the Red Roof Inn (right across the street). Complimentary breakfast was provided (cereal, waffles, oatmeal, donuts, coffee juice and tea). Overall check in and out was a breeze.

Everything was clean. Had trouble getting Wi-Fi password. They have HughesNet and the reception on television was terrible unable to watch any television. They really could use some new sheets ours had several burn holes. From what I read of other local motels this was probably the best.
The front desk attendant threatened to kick us out due to crying baby. The rims were so tiny, the carpets were sticky. There was a patched hole in our bathroom door that a horrible patch. I could go on but why... oh and mattresses has to be about 20 years old
Quiet hotel, room was clean but had an odor like someone had been smoking in the room. We alerted the front desk and while they were not able to move us they did clean the room while we were out which immediately fixed the issue.
Reps were nice room was a little cheap they try to cover up things with other things.but it was semi clean . had wood flooring so bring some slippers.the doors have gaps by floor so you can hear everything from hallway,next rooms.but atleast i know my neighbors like dressing up like squirrels.sounded like they had a goodtime yea!!!.
If looking for a place to just spend the night this is it. After scouring Trip Advisor it was tough to find one in this area with good reviews. This one fit the bill and despite some negative reviews they just mustve been VERY particular. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

2022-04-30Front desk person was very unfriendly. My husband ask a couple of questions to which he was totally ignored. Probably because the clerk was wearing earbuds. I dont think he ever spoke to us. No breakfast of any kind offered. Coffee was cold. No microwave in lobby to heat it even. Room was comfortable but needed tons of repair and better cleaning. Bathroom had lots of water damage. Bedspreads had stains. Plus side...price was low, water was hot. This could be a nice place with if repairs were done and old worn things replaced.

2022-03-10Positive: The room seemed fine. Hallways and lobby were unimpressive. Negative: It was difficult to understand the staff. The plexiglass barrier between us made them hard to hear. They also gave me the impression that I was interrupting other activities. Not rude, but disinterested. There was no breakfast. Not even coffee.

2022-06-14Positive: The windows opened. That was necessarily given the state of the room. Negative: Entire building was filthy. Only rooms available were smoking. All linens were full of burn holes. Door handles appear to have never been cleaned and were disgusting to touch. Black mold present on bathroom ceiling.

2022-05-13The guy at the front desk is super rude. I made a reservation & their system is down. I got here 10 minutes prior my reservation. Waited 1 hour & system was still down. I asked for a refund instead because it was super late 11 now & I have 2 kids. I was super tired & frustrated. I kept my cool. I called customer service & the guy just mean mugged the whole time all because I wanted a refund. Dont come here: I really dont recommend it.

2022-06-28The motel was nice and clean it was quite but the housekeepers are a little rude. They dont knock on your door and say they do and then get rude about it. They also ask for a $60 deposit before you can rent the room if not you cant rent it. I find that a little ridiculous just to stay a night you have to pay a deposit. A family that was in the heat as it was in the 90 degrees outside was turn down to rent a room because they didnt have the $60 deposit so they had to leave. Other than that I would stay again.

2022-03-17Nasty reserved non smoking room got a smokers room desk clerk said manager wouldnt change my room. Then we checked for bedbugs didnt find any but, the sheets had hair make-up and glitter! Needless to say I didnt stay.

2022-04-06The person working at the desk was rude. I would also like to add when I booked the room online and paid for it via debit card I was told I still had to pay a $60 cash deposit and there was a $10 additional pet fee. None of which would have been an issue if the website had stated those two rather important bullet points! Stay ANYWHERE ELSE

2022-04-10Get what ya pay for. No bugs and friendly service, but no breakfast as stated online, rooms had weird stains on floors and walls. Holes in sheets from cigarettes. Ac worked well and shower was warm. Also must pay cash deposit and receive a receipt to show following day.

2022-05-01We booked and paid for the room online then git slapped with a $100 CASH deposit. And to make it even better, the room was dirty. There was a USED diabetic testing strip on the floor under the edge of the chair, and candy wrappers and chips on the floor between the wall and the head of the bed.

2022-03-07Positive: The hotel was close to the highway so i can leave to a cleaner hotel. Negative: The room was disgusting and dirty. I had roaches crawling on me in bed. I saw roaches in the bathroom. I left to a different hotel. The front desk guy speaks broken English so you cant understand him and its a scary area (drug activity)
