You get what you pay for. It served its purpose. I didnt even know that smoking rooms were still a thing. The bed was uncomfortable but sleepable.
This was a horrible experience.Stay away from this place. Rooms were dirty and bugs in the room. Tried to cancel and the manager threatened me and was very rude.
This was my second time here and both times I was over charged rooms are 89.00 with taxes but they charge out of town people 149.00.....i dont care how tired I be I will never stop here again!

Theres a lot of 2 star hotels that know they can get away with less than clean, less than quality and less than full accountability for being a professional establishment. That includes other motel 8s! But this location was very clean, well ran and well kept. Definitely bumping the ceiling of being 3 stars, rather than sinking below to 1 star. Family, individual, business or personal, this is money well spent for a night or several nights.
Clean room. Need a designated place for smoking of the blow instead of the door. Not to good walking kids threw all the smoke. But wasnt super 8 issue...
I would have to say this was one of the cleaner hotels I have stayed at. The shower wasnt all nasty and didnt have moldy shower curtain. Check out time is 11 am and priced decently. I got a room with 2 queens on a weekend for in the 70 dollar range.
Positive: It was clean in the room, quite, bed was comfortable. Was able to get up and go to Dennys next door for breakfast. Negative: The check in person was so rude I almost walked out, she was snarky and acted like she had better things to do. I realize that its hard to find good help in todays employment market but this women do the hotel no favors.
Best thoughts--stay somewhere else! The lady at the counter was very rude and obviously did not want to be at work or helping customers. As for the room... Carpeting was wet and smelled of mildew. Definitely would recommend you wear your shoes around the room. Also, there was damaged/scratched/unpainted areas on multiple walls. Pitch black when we walked in and tripped over furniture trying to find a lamp to turn on the lights. Child size toilet in the bathroom. WiFi had terrible signal. My daughter couldnt even connect to work on her homework and I wasnt able to finish my online work either
Reservations was polite, prices reasonable, but I still would expect the carpet to be clean. It was badly in need of deep cleaning. Otherwise, usual amenities coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.
Just average low dollar rooms, but nice and clean, the bathroom was really nice.Looks as if recently remodelled. Staff was nice as well and bed comfy.To me the facility was a 3 🌟 externally in comparison to many remodel super8 locations, however the bed, shower, and staff made it a 4 🌟. I didnt have enough interaction to warrant a 5 🌟
Rude front desk 2 years same lady named Becky I bet the one most people mention in reviews,how does she still have a job here? We had pickup with small trailer was told to park out front of hotel that’s were you have to that’s policy,so we did there’s a spot over by a fence where you can pull truck into parking space and trailer behind fence.Well long story short that morning a 1 ton truck and large trailer was parked by fence so when we come in 2nd night I pulled up in that spot told wife going up to ask if ok... on my way up Becky was calling room told wife we had to move well when I went in I asked since truck was there this morning was it ok she said no I asked why was other truck there with trailer her response I don’t know and don’t care! Please pay a more money and stay somewhere nicer and without rude unprofessional employees!
The Super 8 in Ashland had handicap accessible rooms and accomadated us according to my confirmed reservations. Our room was clean, roomy, and very close within 15 minutes to where we were going during the day.
Friendly people, clean rooms, reasonable rates.
We had a ground floor room and the carpet was wet--all night. Ended up having an asthma attack and left in the first thing in the morning unable to breath due to the moisture and mildew. Did I mention the OLD McDonalds chicken nuggets we found on the desk surface?!? How was the room even cleaned if there was old hard food laying around?? Will be calling management or corporate or whatever!
I stay at this hotel at least once a week due to traveling with my job. I consistently have a solid experience, not only with the quality and cleanliness of the rooms... But the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Outward-facing doors on some of the rooms make for quieter nights. The fact that the building is split into two smaller buildings also keeps the overall noise level down within rooms. The showers are wonderful... Some of the hottest water and the best pressure. The rooms are clean, the water is hot, in the area has everything that you need... This is a great place!
New management is horrible . attitude , rude and starting yelling . would not stay here again
Decent room. Had an odd old man cologne smell. Very strongly. Nice decor, clean. Kind of high price for a super 8. Accepts pets for $10 more per night. Right off the interstate. Dennys next door.Next door to McDonalds and convenient store across the street. I would stay here again. But it is over priced. $90 per night I paid. Shouldnt be more than $50. Maybe less.
The front desk lady was a complete rude non compassionate person for people with disabilatys lies and charges you a lot more
Pretty decent place to stay it was clean small more like a family-owned motel but it was very clean people were friendly app atmosphere was night and if I go by again Ill stay there again its a good place to take your family if youre out and about a nice place to stay
I cant believe Wyndham puts their name on this place. Hair on the toothbrush holder. The suite is actually an extra twin bed shoved in the corner. The commode is jammed into the counter. I half expected the Winchester brothers to be chasing vamps in the parking lot. Wyndham, time for renovations.
Dirty bath tub, large bug crawling across the ceiling, no traffic noise, WiFi without internet.
Another fantastic Wyndham hotel. Clean, quiet and friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
My elderly grandparents were visiting from out of state and they needed a room for one night only. Central reservations made no mention of booking them into a smoking room. The front desk attendant was incredibly rude and unfriendly. She truly seemed angry that we were even there. The room itself stank, which was to be expected, but there was also a grimy look to the entire room and the duvets were dirty and one was obviously unwashed where a previous guest had wiped their snotty nose.A hotel needs to be two things: clean and friendly. This place failed spectacularly on both fronts. This was their second stay there and there will not be a third.
This is definitely a no frills, place to lay your head kinda place. The rooms were clean, and some what updated. The bed was very comfy and for as full as the hotel was it was pretty quite. Only word of caution, there is no elevator to second floor, so if stairs are an issue or your traveling with alot make sure you request 1st floor accommodations.
Checked in at 3am with my three kids. Front desk was pleasant and quick about getting me a room. On my way back through to New York I will definitely be staying here again. Bonus points for get l getting 15% off at Dennys next door!
This should be a last resort place to stay. My room was infested with bed bugs. When I asked for another room I was told no I was also told I could not get a refund.the bathroom had peoples hair all over it and the floors looked like they hadnt been swept in about a year. On the plus side, the 3rd shift desk clerk is a very nice lady.
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Stinks so bad the pillows smelled like pee, the carpet was very dirty, there were so many holes and damaged areas on the walls, and over the hotel was gross. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
It was okay when we first walked in it was pitch black and struggled a little to find the lights we got a three bed room (only one left)And the third bed was a twin in a corner (dont mind the mess) also when u walked in the hallway it smelled like smoke and the room smelled like fish a little and breakfast was good (stayed on the 2nd floor above the front desk)
Stayed one night after finally getting checked in. Setup room online and it said checking was noon. Rude lady at counter about blew a gasket when I asked. Went back in a few minutes later and another lady nicely helped me out anyway by finding me a room. Room was fairy clean but had a musty smell.

Would not recommend to anyone, the office smelled badly like smoke which is where you eat breakfast. Our room was dirty and the lady at the front desk was not friendly in the evening, the man was nice in the morning. No fruit or any hot breakfast except a waffle. Would not reccomend.
The night clerk was very friendly and helpful, even recoding my key for me after I accidentally erased it. The room was eat to find, clean and quiet. The only thing I would change is ... For some reason the light in the bathroom was really loud. Other than that, top notch experience.

I checked in at 3am , theyd rented out all the rooms that accommodates pets so they let me stay in a non pet room with my fur baby. The hostess at the front desk was very pleasant to deal with . Theres a Dennys that shares the same parking lot and theyre open 24 hrs . I would definitely stay here again if need be .

I have really not many requirements for a hotel, but this really was terrible. Every time someone shuts a door here the building literally shakes. The TV in the room looked like you dragged it along the cement ground. My drawers were missing handles. The staff was not very friendly. The waffle machine was broken. The bed was uncomfortable. Next time Ill spend a few extra bucks and go to the Inn down the street.
Called to get a room because my vehicle brokedown. It was 5am. I was told check out was 11am, that day. I explained I had been stranded most of the night and just needed 12 hrs to sleep, shower and make transportation arrangements and asked them to extend check out a couple hrs and they refused. Way to go with lack of customer service. Quality Inn came through for me. Let me check in early and didnt need to check out until the next day.I will not seek out a stay at Super 8 in the future. I would give you zero stars but I cant post review without 1 star.

Have pictures to go with this for proof! Multiple bugs! Roachs, stink bugs and some other type of little bug! Not clean there were stains on the quilt! Crumbs on the table and floor! The roo. Had an odor! For a upgraded room and non smoking , wyhandam should be very ashamed to have there name on this location!

The service here was abysmal. Becky at the front desk was rude and clearly does not understand basic customer service. The room itself is pretty standard for a cheap place, but the prices were a bit higher than they should have been. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Especially with many other options very close by.
If you make a reservation through a third party and have a problem (SORRY ABOUT YOU LUCK) you cant make changes and the third party is not allowed to make changes for you PERIOD no exceptions. They KEEP total amount charged. Of course they will gladly book and charge you for another room. Makes me want to make all future reservations at Super 8 Wyndham. NO THANK YOU, lesson learned. Expedia tried to help me and Wyndham would not help me.

Tammy the front desk clerk was rude and disgusting. Booked on expedia there was a problem with reservation so I called Expedia and when I Gotti the hotel. I was met by TAMMY YELLING and screaming swearing and threatening me because I called Expedia. She made threats and made us leave. We explained to her that we called on the way since expedia made the reservation. She did not care could not get a word in. Itbwas lile she cane off the Jerry Springer show and wanted to fight. No refund no room it is now 2am and NY wife and my 2 year old was on are way to Cleveland for a kidney transplant, and now we are all sleeping in the warm humid car.. She should be fired and more a sick disgusting cant even call her a women. Was lile the trailer park met a raging Oom·pa Loom·pa. Please if you value your money self respect or safety stay away at all cost. And for you Tammy karma is a B*%#$ and your a fd up sick exuse for a women
The room is dirty,has food in the desk. Called the front desk and no one answered. Went down to the front desk and again no one. Called again and Becky answered the phone and when we asked for more towels she told us to come down and get them.!! They claim that they are pet friendly but my dog barked when we left and we were told that we couldnt leave her in the room if she was going to bark !! We will never stay here again and would never recommend it. I lived in Mansfield my entire life before moving to Missouri 3 yrs ago and we come back to visit family occasionally. This time we came back for my brothers funeral. I have never been treated so bad at a hotel before

Love Ashland, OH! People here are friendly, the scenery is gorgeous! The hotel was super clean, the bed was fantastic and it really was a good place to unwind.
We had a clean, quiet room. The motel is well located near the Interstate and near several restaurants. The free breakfast was excellent. We would stay there again.

So I booked over the phone and get there and somehow there was a mix-up and ‘sold-out’. It was 01:00 in the morning and the kind lady at the desk got me a room somehow. Very kind of her. There is remodeling on right now so make sure to confirm you have a room.
If could give no stars I would never checked in its past midnight there was a mistake through expedia called expedia went in the front desk the front desk morbbidly obese women was with another person so I grabbed a card to check address. My husband went inside and Tammy the inbred fat serial killer butchers wife. started screaming and cursing at him, for calling expedia instead of coming inside and talking to her. Completely psychotic behavior refused to do anything besides curse and yell.stay away from this place if you want to keep your head. GARBAGE, it was like THE SHIMIMG I was the only one there so they thought it was nice to put me in the last building. Before hand I asked for an early check in that I was willing to pay for and got denied when there was absolutely no one in the hotel!! THEY ARE A JOKE!
Please consider replacing the blankets. The burn marks really detract from a good nights sleep. I know its tough but you gotta retire these to the animal shelter and keep your blanket par up to reduce the ick factor

So let me paint a picture for you. Its winter in Ohio and dark. Cold as hell we are talking -1 wind chill. Get a flat tire and thankfully get off the road to a parking lot. Just so happens to be this motel 8. So have people come pick us up so ww can back in the morning to change the tire and see if we need to get a new one. Well guess what these awful people had the car towed by of course the most expensive company in Ashland. What the perfect way to spread Christmas cheer. As far as Im concerned if this is the way motel 8 wants to do business then I will never book another night again!!

2022-06-18Trying to find lodging during a weather emergency I had to look outside my hometown. Finally found a room at this Super 8. Wasnt familiar with it but grabbed it because it was the last available. Definitely a little old school from the outside. But the new owners are doing a lot to bring it up to speed. Bed was super comfortable. Room was clean. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Great TV. They did a great job renovating the bathroom. Very nice. And theres a Dennys on the grounds! And lots of other restaurants in the area. Easy on-and-off from 71. And the young new owner was very nice and accommodating, helping me extend my stay. Thanks!

2022-02-08Talk about a life safer! I had the bright idea to make a road in the middle of the winter storm. All the flights cancelled so I had to get to trucking literally. What would take me normally 8 hours became a 12 hour drive. For my safety I took my time but it began it get icy so I decided to pull over even I was only 43 miles away from my destination.I am so glad there was an available room for me for the night. The front desk was nice that night about 1am Feb 3rd 2022 she was very pleasant and made the accommodations for me after that long trip going 40-45 mph in the way traveling conditions I ever been in so i am very pleased. 522 miles going 40-45 mph I had to get some rest. Now I know if I am ever in that area again I will book again.

2022-05-31Non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray. Argumentative front desk clerks and a manager who wont return calls. They said, all of our rooms are non-smoking, yet I see on the reservation site that they allow smoking. Plenty of other hotels in this area, go down the road and save yourself the trouble.

2022-06-20Rude staff. Accused me of smoking in room because I had a candle. The room has a stale odor and when I was asked to leave and I questioned the owner he called me several vulgar names. I ended up calling the cops just to ensure I was getting a refund. Really disrespectful and shouldn’t be in business.

2022-05-12Although the beds were comfortable, the breakfast didn’t have much variety and also in the lobby area, the personal, they didn’t allow us to sit until the breakfast was served and also when the manager give us the instruction, she had a terrible attitude, I don’t recommend it. I paid for a service, I expected respect.

2022-06-15Okay but when was the last time this room was cleaned?? The bathroom had hair all over it, toilet, tub, floors not vacuumed in a LONG time. Gross

2022-01-23Honestly, this is one of the better super 8’s I’ve been to. for context: I travel from Texas to NY four times a year for college. it was actually cheap (almost $70 for one night, compared to others I’ve been to which are over $90+), and the room was actually clean, even with being a smoking one. the air conditioner wasn’t loud at all, and the TV had a lot of channels, including HBO. the man at the desk was very nice. this super 8 is conveniently located right next to denny’s, taco bell, and wendy’s, but there’s many other options too.

2022-02-06Positive: noyhing Negative: I had bugs in my room and had to change rooms!!!!!! Pillows awful and bed no very soft. One of the worst Super 8 I have ever stayed in.
