Wonderful little family business. Sales lady Sandy is very helpful and sweet. Gets things done quick and easy. Cars are affordable and reliable. Honest people about the vehicles and deals.
Prices are good , but make sure you check the vehicle over GOOD ! Very disorganized, took forever to fill out paper work, one disruption after another. Parking sucks, car lot is insane , takes forever for them to move cars around to get one out to test drive !!! So make sure you have lots of time to blow standing around while you wait !!
We purchased a old car and I am still pleased with the car. Of course since its in its 60s we are fixing it up. But the price was really good. And they were very nice to my dad and I.
Cars are jammed together and makes it near impossible to look at, let alone to test drive! Owner seemed preoccupied and couldnt be bothered to sell a car. Nice cars, however, customer service is less than adequate!
Very good experience buying a car here yesterday. Very nice day family. Smooth process. Dont understand some people on here... You are buying a used car with no warranty! There is no guarantee you are buying a car that will not need work. Use common sense people.
Nice cars for great prices. Staff were not the greatest. They spent a lot of time bickering with one another, giving us the run around or on their phones when we had questions. Shame because they do have some nice looking vehicles with reasonable stickers.
The people at Sunset Sales are the reason why I buy from them. The no pressure atmosphere and willingness to let me have the vehicle checked out by MY mechanic before purchase is important to me.This is a true family operation that is hard to find nowadays which carries a level of comfort when you are there looking for your next vehicle.I wont buy from anyone else...5 stars !!!
Nothing good comes from this place. Have told many people not to go here. My partner got a car from here, they claim they tell everyone that they do not inspect their cars, but they did not disclose it. Got the car for a little over 3000. We have put in over 4000 into it, with the newest being the transmission needs replaced. When confronted they told us there is nothing we can do, and they do not care they sell all their cars during income tax. There have been multiple complaints to the Ohio Attorney General and ours is going to be added to this. They have no compassion. We got the car about 45 days ago, we went there before the 45 days were up and we are still hemorrhaging money on this deal. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A RELIABLE CAR!
Took one of their vehicles on a test drive and even though they had my personal info..(drivers license) they called me to ask where I was (hadnt been more than 15 minutes) and also called the body shop I took the vehicle to for a pre buy inspection to verify that indeed I was there. I found that very strange. After paying for the inspection, I found out that the vehicle should not have been on the lot and UNSAFE to drive. I took the car back.. scared out of my wits to drive it. Explained what I had paid to find out and they tell me hey... Its a used car, youre going to have some problems. Then proceeded to ask if I would like to see another vehicle NO THANK YOU.
I didnt purchase anything, but I like the staff. They were very helpful. Went to see a trick that had sold 10 min before I got there. Still showed me alternatives without being pushy. All you can ask for in a dealer.

Made him an offer on a car, said they would call us when it was ready. Didnt answer phone calls or emails for 5 days. Stopped in and he said he sold it to someone else. Very special people.
Fantastic place to get a used car if you know something about cars. Sunset Motors does little to no work on these vehicles so they can pass the savings onto the customer.
Wish it would let me give them 0 stars cuz the ppl at this place just made me feel like I was bothering them when asking about their cars,and they didnt know about the vehicles on their lot.

I bought a 2012 Chevy cruze from here the water pump started leaking on the ac compressor which made it fail within a month of having the car now the windshield defrost is broke and i cant defrost my windshield any more do not buy a car from here i will never buy a car from here again i was sold a car that has nothing but expensive problems that need fixed

Older lady was absolutely terrible, very rude. Has NO people skills at all. Cars are so so but paying more elsewhere is almost worth it to not have to deal with this chick.

2017-05-09My father and I went to Sunset Sales and picked up a beautiful newer car for way cheaper than it shouldve been. Definitely recommend but remember to bring cash, they dont have a credit card reader, they also dont accept cash.

2021-02-23People are only complaining about used cars because maybe this is the first time they just didn’t get everything there way. The reality is we went to look at trucks yesterday they showed us the three they had told us the problems the one had then the second one they told hey this is the problem that why it’s oriced as it is but you can test drive it to your mechanic to look at so I did went back said 02 sensor bad they said if you want to buy it that easy fix we can take care of it and it’s all your bottom line there not pushy people they don’t overwhelm you. And point blank period they let your purchase be your choice. If you bought a bad car it’s because you choose to they don’t make you buy anything I love it will be back again will recommend it

2019-06-05Great place to buy a car! NO PRESSURE! None at all. Very nice and friendly. Got a great car for a low price, and they handle all the temp tags / title stuff. Like buying from an individual but you dont have to run around getting things notarized and stuff. Like someone said, yes the lot is quite crowded, but who cares if you get a good deal with no pressure and no hassle.

2018-06-19I bought my jeep there a little over 4 years ago and it was a great purchase. It was my first car and they were incredibly helpful. Paul walked the lot with my father and I and helped me to walk away with my car. I have had to put money into the jeep over time but that is what you expect owning a car. They were amazing and I will be back when I need another vehicle!

2018-11-06Stopped in on a Sunday when they were closed. They happened to be there. I was looking at a car and was wondering the price. They told me the price was $4999. After a test drive (I was thankful they let me since they were closed) I made an offer. They said they couldn’t come down because they barely mark up their cars. Well after thinking about it I went ahead and purchased the car. They were acting all giving because they got me out the door for a little under $5000. Well I happened upon the listing on Craig’s list. The car was actually listed for $4695. Not ok. He should have told me the correct price. Then we could have negotiated around that. Shame shame!!!
