I bought a pre owned certified Chevy and I noticed a day after I got the truck home the license plates lights were not working. I replaced the bulbs and they still didn’t work. Brought back to the dealership to have it inspected and the wire for the lights had been broken. However when I bought the truck it’s was checked off on the certified paperwork that everything was working. I’m concerned that if something like license plate lights not working was clearly not checked during inspection what else was not checked properly.
Our experience was nothing less than excellent from the no pressure test drive to the delivery of our vehicle. We ordered it back in November, and Ryan and his team kept us informed every step of the way. We will definitely be sending anyone your way who is in the market for a new vehicle, as the experience was appreciated!
Chris McGuire was amazing to work with. Best car purchase experience I have EVER had. From the first text I received from him to me driving off the lot he made it so easy and I am thankful I got to work with him. Would highly recommend this dealership and especially Chris.
When arriving for oil change I asked if I would be done in an hour because I had an important meeting that I was in charge of hosting. The service writer could not make a guarantee but would try. I only waited 20 minutes and she came and got me and said she put two guys on it so I could be on time. Tammy Kopp was the employee.
Zero stars is accurate. I called to bring my Impala in to have the front passenger tire patched. A nail was lodged in the top of the tire. I also requested a tire rotation and oil change. An appointment was set for 2:00pm. The service department offered us to wait and said that the service would not take long. We declined and said we would be back after we ran a couple errands. We called at 5:00 pm because we had not heard back that the car was done. The service department said that they had just brought the car in. Because we were not waiting, they put some other folks in front of us. I guess appointments are only honored for those who wait at the dealership. We requested that they leave the keys below the seat and we would most likely pick it up after closing due to our time constraints. When we picked up the car, the tire pressure was off by as much as five pounds between the four tires with one tire, now on the passenger rear side reading at 29psi. When I looked closer, this indeed was the patched tire. We drove the car home at about 6:30pm. When I arrived home at 10:00pm, my neighbor noticed that the tire was nearly flat in my driveway. Luckily he was working on his wifes tire and had me bring it over. The tire patch was not put in properly. My neighbor has a patch kit. He removed the bad plug and put another in. I took pictures of the repair the neighbor and I completed together at 10:30pm. I called Sunnyside the next morning to report this. I spoke to someone and shared the experience. The person apologized but did not admit that anything had been done incorrectly. I was told that the Service Manager would call back by the end of the day. I am still waiting. It has been a week. Huge waste of time but they have the $140.00 for the service. That said, I have found Sunnyside in the past to be very responsive and competent.
In general, I have had pretty good experiences at Sunnyside. Sensor/Electrical issues tend to cause some issues. I have had Check Engine Codes (relating to sensors and sensor outputs) become repeat issues a few times, and this does get a little bit annoying that these arent dealt with correctly the first time. All dealerships really need to work with the OEMs on diagnosing and fixing electrical problems more efficiently. The OEMs are adding more sensors before most techs can keep up. Just my two cents.
Great sales team all the salesman are helpful and willing to assist. Finance goes above and beyond to help you get a car. Dealership is clean. Has a large variety of inventory.Sadly my experience with service today was not very favorable. I had ordered running boards and had them installed. that they did gone. but I had requested that they do oil change and tire rotation when I booked appointment. also reminded them when I arrived. was told no problem. well left had lunch got call it was finished. went to pick up. oil change was not done. asked cashier. they went to a different advisor. who had a very bad attitude. was told would be a minimum of an hour additional wait. I asked why and was told very rudely that it was not her mistake and I would have to wait all over again . I said no paid my bill and left. very disappointed.
Its always a pleasure to deal with this dealership, never any problems and the service is perfect. I am very particular about my car and I can never tell that a complete stranger has been in it when I pick it up, they leave the interior in the pristine condition that I gave it to them in. I always recommend Sunnyside to everyone!
I pulled into the garage and before I could get out of the car, Tammy was standing there. She recognized me as a long time customer called me by name. A short time went by and she said my car was finished. I like the way they have kept the same staff for years and the detailed way they explain the repairs/maintenance they performed.
This dealership is the worst I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Called and after being assured by service dept that necessary repair was available to do a partial remedy for GM recall, when I got there service writer said that someone told me wrong and the update is not available. Called GM when I got home and was told it is just a matter of the service dept getting the update off the GM computer. What a joke! What a waste of my day!
I couldn’t be more pleased. Excellent service. Great communication. They found the cause of a problem that I’d described and asked them to take a look at. They diagnosed and fixed it. The service rep is very attentive and thorough. Very professional. Impressive to say the least.
If I could give negative stars I would. The worst experience with the service manager. I have a 2019 Blazer with 30k miles on it. All 4 tires are bald but the front ones have no tread on them at all. I had the tires rotated service manager pretty much told me I was a liar without saying those words. I looked up online about the tires that are on my vehicle and they all have had issues with tread on them at about 28k miles. They are discontinued as of June 2020. I went to show the manager about them and he walked away from me and didnt care what I had to say. He was beyond rude didnt even offer to try and get me in a new set of tires. I will never buy a new vehicle from here again and I paid cash for my vehicle. they dont want to take care of their customers.
Unexpectedly had a brake issue (Started grinding horribly) on a Sunday afternoon. We dropped off the car (Key Drop Slot) on Sunday afternoon and promptly received a call Monday morning. They had already diagnosed the issue and had it fixed shortly after noon. Awesome quick turn around for an unscheduled appointment. Always great staff!
Rick and Sunnyside made purchasing a luxury car out of state an outstanding experience. I could not be more pleased and highly recommend them. They went out of their way to make sure the car arrived in prime, detailed condition. They got me a fair price and fixed everything on the car. When we encountered a car challenge, they stepped in and paid the full cost of the repair, even though legally it was sold as is. I assure you next time Im looking for a car it will be with Sunnyside Chevrolet.
My experience at Sunnyside Elyria was great! I had the opportunity to work with Rick Belsito and he was AMAZING! This was my first time buying a vehicle so of course I had a lot of questions. Rick took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel truly comfortable and confident throughout the car buying experience. He went above and beyond throughout this experience and I could not thank him more. It has been a short period of time since the purchase of my new vehicle, however, I have already recommended the dealership and Rick to many friends/family members and I will continue to do so for a long time to come. I bought a used 2011 silverado for them in september. The vehicle did have some issues, on the way home to Illinois. Sunnyside allowed me to have a local dealership repair it, minor sensor stuff. Denise Gurnack is the sales person you want to sell you a vehicle, she was fantastic. Thank you for the truck, and experience.
I came in for a oil change, tire rotation and asked for help in putting back a cap as my son lost patience when he installed a new headlight. You have to remove the cap in order to replace the headlight. I was told that the work was done and told to think about purchasing new tires in the near future. When I got back in my car after paying for said service, I found the cap on my dashboard. They had trouble putting in back and just gave up and never told me. If they cant replace this cap, then I dont think they are a certified service center. There should be a way for them to do this vs a car owner.
The sales rep Rick and the finance gentleman Bob were wonderful. They were very straightforward and I honest. Very easy process and everyone was very friendly. I would recommend a bit more attention to detail on the actual detailing or prep of the vehicle. Though the vehicle was satisfactory, there were many smear marks or streaks left in the vehicle that necessitated a little more work from me in order to show it off so to speak. Overall, very satisfied with the experience though.
Just purchased my 2nd vehicle from Mike Foley and again I am so happy with my purchase! From the moment I emailed Mike telling him I was looking for a new vehicle I knew I was again in good hands. By the end of the day he had the payoff amount on my current vehicle and had already gotten me approved for the vehicle I wanted. I came in the next day and test drove my new vehicle and was driving off the lot with it in the next hour! Sunnyside is always so fast and efficient, my vehicles are always in perfect condition and I cant thank Mike and the people at Sunnyside enough for always making sure I am in a reliable and safe vehicle. Worst customer service experience ever I would definitely advise anyone to never ever purchase anything from this place there service manager Neil Lester is super disrespectful and one of the worst customer service providers Ive ever dealt with I bought my Chevy Blazer 2020 from them and there is a recall on the tires he basically told me and my wife it was our fault because we didnt get the car serviced there and called us liars saying our tires were never rotated so there was nothing he could do now I have to buy new tires for a car thats less then 1 ½ years old even though they are clearly recalled! I will definitely be making other reports oh and they call you a liar if you dont have the documents they ask for so make sure you keep every piece of paperwork for your car but if I was you I would find another place to buy a car
Today my fiancé and I made our first big purchase. A beautiful 2018 Chevy Silverado LT 1500. We are in love with our new truck! Colleen made our first time experience one to remember. That woman is an absolute gem!!! She has a great personality and made our time there very enjoyable! She knows her stuff and had us in and out in no time. I highly recommend Sunnyside Chevrolet! I have been using sunnyside for all of my husbands and my 2 car purchases and 1 lease since 2017. They are a wonderful bunch of people. Chris is our salesman. He listens to which car we are interested in and the features that we require and he finds what fits our needs. I definitely prefer car shopping here compared to other places where you get pushy salesmen that annoy you with phone calls no matter how many times you say no. I highly recommend sunnyside. The service people are extremely friendly and if you get your vehicle detailed they do a very thorough job.
Terrible business!Bought a used vehicle and was informed over and over that its as is, next day I have several check engine lights. While electrical goes bad, multiple problems rarely happen together like this.I repaired the issues, and the Sunnyside wanted to pay me off!!! I said why not at least cover my time... Guess what? I never received a dime. What a scam this place is. I strongly advise going elsewhere...
Rick was as usual, extremely awesome. He does what ever it takes to accommodate our needs. He worked with me to keep my payment within my means. He made sure the process was streamlined for us as I was in the midst of a family death. This is our third lease with this dealership and working with Rick and I will return as long as he is there.
I went to Sunnyside with the intent to buy this Buick Regal GS and trade in my car. I made an appointment with Rick and when I arrived the car was parked out front ready for me to view. The car was in excellent, clean condition and we went for a test drive. I loved the car and we made a deal very quickly and got the ball rolling. Unfortunately, due to an insurance mishap (on my part) I could not drive the car home that day. Regardless, Rick sent me to Bob and we got all the paperwork settled. Then they told me theyd meet me in the city I worked and we could exchange cars the next day when I got the insurance issue handled. So they had their driver drive the car to me and we exchanged in the city I work in 2.5 hours away from the dealership! Matt had ensured me theyd have it to me the next day at a specific time and they hit it right on the money. Excellent customer service. They even told me that my backup key fob was non-functioning at the time of the exchange but have promised to replace it for me. I am extremely pleased with my experience at Sunnyside and feel confident about my purchase.**6-Year Update** I am still driving this Buick Regal GS. It now has 185,000 miles and still has the original clutch and almost original everything. Only replaced tires, brakes, belt, upper radiator hose, plugs, battery, regular full synthetic oil changes, and still gets 30 mpg - just your normal wear and tear things. This has been the best car I have ever purchased. Thank you Sunnyside Chevrolet!
Dropped my car off on a Thursday at 4:30pm for a repair that was going to be done on Friday. Little did I know at 7:06pm that Thursday night Jerry called me to let me know he had a tech stay over to complete my job! Awesome customer service through this whole experience. I work in customer service/automotive industry myself and I can honestly say Jerry, and his crew do a phenomenal job. There’s always going to be unsatisfied customers when it comes to their vehicles so don’t allow the negative reviews pull you away from here, they do their job and they do it honestly. Jerry and the sunnyside service team have won me over. Thanks!
Randy Loeffler was great to deal with! I explained that we were a busy family and wanted to have all the paperwork in order to purchase my vehicle. He had everything ready. We were at the dealership for less than an hour. This was the best experience I have had purchasing a car!
Purchased a used crew cab truck.Very next day, check engine light starting coming on.They reached out to me and helped even though it was an as is sale.I replaced two oxygen sensors out of my own money, and they reimbursed me.I received another check engine light as well which is preventing me from getting my e-check... Everything could not have been better.. From my Service Advisor, Jerry Taylor, to the technician, to meeting the gentleman in the classic car museum. Awesome. You should know, I was a top ranked service advisor for Chevrolet for twenty one years until recently. Not that it matters. I just want you all to know I have reference in what I say. You are spectacular!
First, the customer service was poor. The service department had my car for a day longer then what was needed and lastly we where miss quoted on the cost of repairs on the phone vs at the time of payment. Also, paid $1300 for the service department to not even bother to put back on the antenna when I am not even sure why they took it off to begin with. I will no longer be going to this place to have my car services.
Took car in for bad burning smell. Car had stalled, frt right brake stated squealing, car would not move and radio blanked out twice. They had it 2.5 days, then called and said nothing was wrong, that they think the frt caliper locked up and caused the problem. Car is under warranty and they did not replace a possible frt caliper that locked up? Very next day got in car, same smell of burning., ( which they said there was no more odor). Same squealing frt right caliper. Terrible service. I guess I will have to take it to the dealership I leased it from. Also never heard one word about anything they were doing with the car, unless I called. They also said they put over 50 miles on the car, however the gas gauge never moved?
Bob Cannon really goes above and beyond to ensure a great service experience. My check engine light clicked on and we took the Trax in on Tuesday. Not all the needed parts were on hand to make the repair, so he managed to get a loaner vehicle since we just have the one vehicle and a busy day scheduled for Wednesday. Even though we live in Parma Hts, we are loyal to Sunnyside due to the Great service we receive.
No Pressure, Knowledgeable, Professional, Nice Atmosphere, (did I mention they have cookies) I can not say enough about how friendly and welcoming everyone was at this dealership. I was very nervous about getting a new vehicle. Our financial situation was not the most ideal, and I did not think we would be able to afford the Family Car we really needed . Marla and Bob made it happen!! Marla took the time to listen to our financial concerns and what we could really afford. She also understood that we are a busy family needing more space than our old vehicle, with two growing toddlers and all their activities. Once we found out what were were approved for, she went through all our options and answered all our questions. She found us the perfect car to fit our needs and budget. Bob then helped us get through all the paper work of leasing, we had never leased before, but he explained everything to us and answered all our questions. Thank You Marla! Thank You Bob! We Love our Equinox!Came back at the end of our lease trying to upgrade what we had, with some very specific criteria and had just as amazing of service from Rick Belsito and Bob Capri this time! After a really bad time trying our hand elsewhere, it was very refreshing coming back, they really treated us right and got us into an amazing upgrade with zero hassles!
Great service , took the car right in did the service , asked if I needed anything else and got me out in about an hour ! Then I went to the body shopto have them look at a ding in the right side where a little old woman ran into the car the other day ! I couldnt catchher ! He looked at and buffed jt out and it looks good ! Real good all around service !

The manager Ryan is great to work with. This dealership is not pushy at all and really has the customers best interests in mind. Its very rare to find ethical top notch people anymore in the auto sales world. These people take ethics and morals to another level. You can truly trust what they tell you. I have historically had very low evaluations for my trade (normally $2-5K less than everybody else) every time I have gone for a trade quote. I also find the exact opposite (very high prices) when it comes to quotes for repairs or services. Not sure how they stay in business treating everybody this way. Hopefully management will eventually start treating customers like they are truly valued, and not just another cash cow.
There was no communication or updates for 2 weeks. When called to inform the associate could not find the truck.When the truck was dropped off arrangements for body work after service would be coordinated, this never happened.I am 100% disabled and just had surgery. Making arrangements for the vehicle to be there is not easy. Lack of coordination is drastic inconvenience for me.I am still not happy with the rearend in this truck. Saying it is within tolerance does not fix the visible issue or problem it has caused along with the noise.
Great team of people at Sunnyside, I have had all my vehicles serviced there and always a cheerful and attentive staff, and great service.I dropped off my vehicle for service today and when I returned to pick it up they agreed to do a quick oil change on my wifes vehicle with no appointment.It was 2:30 on a Saturday and they close at 3:00, yet they took it in and did the oil and tire rotation - no problem!
KELLY IS AMAZING. I could not have asked for a better experience here. Kelly was extremely knowledgeable and so patient with me. I got not only what I needed but what I wanted. The finance department was so helpful. I am a new forever customer and I will most definitely be referring friends and family.
I find the environment very friendly and inviting, in spite of the pandemic guidelines at the moment. I like have the option for a loaner car. That is key for my servicing needs. Service technicians tend to be quick at diagnosing the problem and getting back to me with all the information. I am very satisfied.
Cant say enough great things about this dealership. We found a used car online for our daughter, and she wanted to check it out, so my wife and daughter drove over to see it. They dealt with Randy, and he was very professional and helpful and he was able to get a deal that my daughter felt comfortable with. I drove back with her a few days later to trade her car in and finish the deal, and I was also very impressed with Randy and the rest of the staff. They have a very impressive dealership, and the people there really seem to want to get you the best deal and are not pushy at all. We drove an hour and a half to get there, and I would do it again when I am looking for a new truck if they have what Im looking for. Thanks to them again for everything they did, keep up the good work.

My parents and I went to Sunnyside to purchase two Equinox vehicles and had a great experience from start to finish. Rick took lots of time walking us through the vehicles and made sure we really felt comfortable and understood all of the available features and how to use them. He was friendly, polite and very patient. He took great care to make things easy and comfortable for my dad who uses a walker. The process felt less overwhelming with Rick. We will definitely be using Sunnyside Chevrolet as our dealership for any future cars for sure. Would highly recommend to any friends or family.
The majority of my family has been to this place and found what they were looking for. I prefer this place more than all of the other dealerships I have been at. When I was young I had to wait over 3 hours so my parents could purchase a vehicle. The workers offered me hot chocolate and were making feel settled and relaxed during my time I was there.
Our new Chevrolet Colorado has not been delivered yet, but it is on its way. Kyle, our salesman was enthusiastic but not pushy (I have been known to bolt in the presence of overly aggressive sales people and have walked out of more than one dealership because of high-pressure tactics). Kyle also patiently answered our many questions. We never felt rushed or intimidated to make a decision. Matt, the sales manager, worked tirelessly to find us the truck we wanted. No one tried to convince us to settle for anything other than the model and options we wanted. We were VERY, VERY impressed by that! In fact, that was probably when we knew we didnt want to visit any other dealers. Everyone we came into contact with at Sunnyside was friendly...and nice. To be honest, we hate the whole vehicle buying process and are not particularly patient. Kyle and Matt made the process as painless as possible, and that is a good thing since the process involved two visits to the dealership and more than seven hours total at the dealership (locating the truck we wanted was a major challenge). We signed the final papers an hour after the early closing on New Years Eve, and I never saw Kyle or Matt glance even once at their watches. LOL. We left the dealership HAPPY--what more can you say. There are other Chevy dealers closer to us, but we are glad we decided to do business with Sunnyside Chevrolet. It was more than worth the drive.
Jason Eyman is above and beyond and I know of what I speak. Since 2013 Ive bought 6 new personal cars and 1 used car from seven different dealerships--Im a car guy. No salesman has ever been more attentive, more responsive, more forthcoming or lower pressure. I bought a $10,000 used specialty car and he treated me and the transaction like it was an $80,000 Corvette sale (and yes, he sells expensive new cars too). He knew all about the car (although it wasnt a Chevy) and when I had a question about the drive line, he first investigated on the Internet then he put it on a lift, had a mechanic look at it and invited me to look at it, too. When it came to discussing price he was very fair. Although he knew that he had a specialty vehicle I couldnt buy elsewhere he nonetheless made a nice price adjustment for me without the dreaded visit from the manager. I told him that I didnt want the sales job from the F&I manager (you know, the guy who you have to see to do the paperwork who always tries to sell you the wax job, warranty and other stuff). Well, Bob Capri, the F&I guy was super efficient, didnt try to sell me anything and we talked cars--he had had a similar model the recommended a performance upgrade then followed up with an e-mail with the details. After we were done and Jason was delivering the car to me I again noticed that it had no antenna--something Jason and I had discussed earlier. I didnt get a runaround--instead Jason said hed order the part and send it to me. He did exactly that taking maybe an hour out of his day to drive 30 miles round trip to a shipping point (it wasnt something that was a Post Office would handle). Did I mention that Jason is a very pleasant guy? Youd be happy to see him socially, hes just that nice. When we were done around lunchtime he even recommended a local restaurant that was outstanding. Be sure to meet Jason; youd trust him to sell a car to your mother!
My salesman Randy was professional. I shop a long time before I buy. My Impala was priced very well. I found a window chip when i got home that was very hard to see at th edge of the window tint. This was handled without question, promptly and professionally. Will recommend this dealership as a quality establishment!
Awesome crew.. Jerry was our salesman. If I didnt look online and chat with him I would still be in my 10 year old car that had 162k on it. They worked hard to get me and my family into the SUV that we needed with our growing family. I would recommend everyone to buy something from them at least once... Even if it just some coffee 😉

Initially bought my 09 pontiac g6 from their sister store Sunnyside Toyota and decided to service here since theyre GM. Took a while to figure my cars problems out but my warranty was easily transferred and their professional service staff helped get me in a rental and on my way while their trusted mechanics fixed my car. Ill be returning here for all repairs and a new car when I am ready for one. Overall great experience.
My husband had been looking for a few months for a 3/4 ton truck. We did most of our searching on the internet and came across a truck at Sunnyside. One thing that was great was that Rick communicated a lot with us via text, making it convenient to respond while at work. He also kept in touch with us on a regular basis as we were looking at a few trucks. Some of the other salespeople weren’t friendly and didn’t seem to care if we bought from them or not. When we decided to purchase from Rick at Sunnyside; we set an appointment and he was ready for us. We were in and out of the dealership in an hour! Fastest and friendliest service we have experienced!
Once again Rick Belsito helped me purchase the new car I was looking for at a fair price, including a fair trade in value. He took the time to let me test drive it, go over the numbers, explain all the car’s features, and initiated the On-Star setup. Dave Samples helped walk me through the financial portion and all the options. The entire process was quick and painless. Rick also followed up a few days later to make sure I was happy, which I am. Kevin in sales and Tammy in service were grate.After 6 months dealing with the other services personal and getting grease on the hood and wheels of my truck 2 times let the service manager see it told me they would detail the truck when ever I want.Went in for oil change and tire rotation no grease but a very cold shoulder and no report on the truck just a push out the door.I am taking my business to another Chevrolet dealership.
We had been looking for a particular vehicle for a while at the right price. I found it on their web site one evening and by text worked out a deal, had all the paperwork to our finance source and bought the vehicle less then 10 hours later. It was quick. I went in on my lunch break for a tire that kept losing air. Its not like the Chevrolet where I came from...the entrance was hard to find. But once I got in, they were nice and had me out in time to make it back to work on time. He even volunteered to take me back to work if my car wasnt ready in time. I have paid a less for getting nails out of my tire before, that is why the 4 stars instead of 5. But it wasnt too painful.
My old car was so rusted and in need of repairs it was dangerous to drive. I have a pretty tight budget and needed to establish my credit. I went to sunnyside when I was down and out and needed a car. My friends husband works there and he gave it great reviews so I looked around at different dealerships for a used car. Well at first everything was GREAT I got a used Chevy equinox 2012, I expected high mileage because its a used car for a lower price but what I didnt expect was the headache and heart ache Ive been through with this vehicle. From October until December I was having break issues. I told the lady at the used car dealer that this car is going to need breaks. She said no they should be fine the whole car was inspected. Come to find out that the car might have not been thoroughly inspected. The car had to get new breaks new rotors and it needs new break shoes but what ever. Then they messed up the paperwork for me and my husband, so our tags kept getting pushed back. Gratefully the owner stepped in and figured things out. I also told the sales lady that upon starting the car it makes a loud noise and then it quiets like somethings wrong. So my husband takes it over and of course it doesnt do it. But then down the line it was still doing it and since she told me that was normal I went with it. Ive had my car for 4 months and its been in and out of the service department. Im wo upset I put everything I had in that car. The owner was nice and understood the problems but as a new car buyer I felt like we were used because we were young didnt have the credit that we wished for we are just starting out and I feel so taken advantage of. Ive had used cars before for years upon years but this one .. has given me heck. I have no clue what to do now because now theres another issue mind you I only drive local cars never hit a highway!#update#Car has been repaired. By the servicing department. The manager there is a really nice guy. Thankful for him

I purchased a 2015 Malibu 2 years ago. It had 29,000 miles when I purchased it, the check engine came on and I took it in to the Dealership. They said they had to order the part, they never called me about the part, I waited a week and called about the part, Only to be told, that the part was not available, and that they had no idea as to when the part would come in. I had to call Chevy Corp complaint and file a complaint against them, and I had to call the Attorney General and file a complaint against Chevy Corp. ( Only after I filed with the Attorney General, did they offer me a loaner vehicle!!!) The Dealership had my car for two months,!!!! They never had the decency to even call and keep me updated on my car and the repair it needed. I had to call the dealership to find out when they would have my car fixed.!!!! This was the worst experience I have ever had with a Dealership.
I purchased a used truck 2.5 years ago from Sunnyside, the experience was low pressure and the sales staff let the vehicle sell itself. Since then I have had a couple issues and had to visit the service department for repair. The service team was very professional and provided premere customer service. Best experience I have ever had at a dealership. Great staff across the board.
I didnt believe this dealership (or any for that matter), could have a legit high rating. From my contact with SunnySide, I was extremely impressed with Jason Eyman. I called and wanted to know precise things about the vehicle (I live ~500 miles away) I was interested in. Jason sent me the pictures I requested via text message, as requested. He included factory installed option sheets and really just exceeded my expectations.I have decided to purchase an older model from another company due to delivery convenience, but I wanted Jason to know I appreciate the work he did. If my purchase with the other company falls through and I can make the trip, I would definitely like to do business with Sunny Side Chevrolet.

Best ExperienceI stopped by Sunnyside Chevrolet on March 1st. I was looking to get my 2012 Chevy Equinox washed. I was told it was closed due some painting in the booth. Since I was there I began looking at the new Equinox. Mike Foley asked if I needed help. I told him I was just looking. He started asking me about my car. We then sat down and he explained the new features on the 2014 models. We discussed a possible trade. Mike and Matt Smolik worked on the numbers and we all came close to a deal. Then they asked me about a possible lease. When they explained the options I had verses the outright purchase, that made up my mind.We closed the deal and I was happy. When I went into the finance office I met Dave Samples. He was very helpful explaining all the details of leasing and we did all the paper work. By now it was closing time.They had the car prepped and brought in front. Mike Foley stayed to show me and explain all the features on the new vehicle. When we were finished it was 7:00 PM.I am very impressed with the professionalism of all three people Mike Foley, Matt Smolik and Dave Samples. The way they treated me, explained everything and the time they took with me was nothing I ever experienced at any other dealer. This was a very very pleasant experience. We went to Sunnyside Chevrolet looking to purchase a brand new Silverado. We had an amazing experience buying a vehicle. From the moment we walked in Brad Cline took care of us. Drove 400 miles just to have SS work on my 2014 Cruz it was worth the trip.Yes l bought the car there. No l dont sell cars. When l took it in for a small repair and a service they were as glad to see me as they were when l bought the car. Got me out and back on the road in1 1/2 hours free coffee and pastries to go.😎 So great service cant be beat. So there is my review my rating is a 10. 400 miles back home. Till the next time.
The group in Service late that evening was great!! They provided me a loaner while they were diagnosing it so I could get back and forth to work far away from my house.The Service Advisor who dealt with me was very kind to me for not knowing much about vehicles and didnt treat me as such. Also, the gentleman who completed the transaction went and got my car, pulled it in to the bay so I could switch around carseat and scraped it off for me (real bad snow storm started while we were inside). Lifesaver for a mom of a wound up toddler. You guys rock!! I will definitely be bringing my business here for sales and maintenance. Thanks for your great service!
Im giving Chevy a one star for my most recent service trip. I own a 2017 chevy cruze and have always had it serviced at sunnyside along with my previous chevy. In the past I had an issue with them not rotating my tires even though it was included with my oil change and I was able to call them out and have it fixed. It makes me wonder if they do that to others. This most recent trip I had an oil change scheduled for 130. I had a check engine light on and I requested that the code be ran and then they tell me what was wrong first if it was serious I could call ganley chevy and get a loaner because they didnt have any for use that day. After I waited for an hour and a half I was able to track down my service person and they told me they havent even done my oil change they went and started to re program my car (why the light was on) and the computer system crashed while doing so. I didnt tell them to fix the problem only to run the code and tell me what was wrong.I was in a rush. I had planned on making another appointment to address the issue. So at 3 I was told my oil hadnt been changed and I had an appointment at 330 for my newborn. they hurried and changed the oil no tire rotation or fluid top off/multi point inspection. I asked them to at least change the oil and Ill come back for the rotation after all I just waited an hour and a half for something that should have only taken an hour tops. They got the oil done quick and I asked for my car to be washed. I ended up waiting another 25 minutes for my car to be washed. I had to come back to get my tires rotated and the engine light keeps coming on an off. I had to advise them the reason it keeps coming on is probably the same reason it was on last time (they werent even planning on re programming it even though it wasnt completed last time) I jst feel like my time has been wasted I wasnt informed on anything untill after the fact and i missed my newborns appointment. Im just very unhappy with my experience.EDIT: Someone replied with a comment saying someone from the sales team would contact me offering a free oil change. That never happened. Being a sunnyside customer for two of my cars and not even getting a call from someone definitely upset me. Hoping someone will actually do as they said.
Fair, honest, and really nice people!I was actually looking for a new vehicle and happened upon Sunnysides web site from Car Guru. They had a 2012 model with the exact color and options I wanted. The quality of the used car was like new, and it was already detailed and I drove it off the lot the same day. They worked with me on the price and I got a really nice deal on a great car for way less than new. I go back all the time for car washes and I always make certain to say Hi to Colleen. Rick was very helpful with getting everything setup with my new new Chevy Cruze. He made the whole experience easy and was very knowledgeable about the car that I was leasing and all of the paperwork behind it. He was able to answer all of my questions and made sure that the experience I had was as good as it could get. First and last time coming to this dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. Appointment set for 11am, 12:30 and I am still waiting. That is a ridiculous amount of time for that service.Update @12:50 still waiting. Why make appointments if you’re not going to start working on my car until 30 to 45 minutes after the appointment time? Extremely frustrating and unprofessional . I will say that the staff is friendly and my advisor stopped by to tell me will need tires this year but don’t worry, I won’t purchase them from this dealership.
Sales guy was great. They really make you feel good about purchasing a car and preach about taking care of you along the whole way. Its a shame the warranty doesnt mean much of anything though otherwise Sunnyside would have been a 5/5 on my books. For some reason every time I bring my Cruze in for a problem, they are always able to come up with a reason as to why its not covered under the warranty or find a reason to try to charge me more money.
We were greeted by Bob Capri who introduced us to Mike Foley. Both gentlemen were very friendly and knowledgeable, and did their best to make us feel comfortable, and to find the car we were interested in, with the interior, outside color that we wanted, plus the features we felt were necessary. We picked up the car the next day, and so far it has been a joy for us to drive. Mike carefully explained the features while reassuring us that he would be available anytime to go over anything we didnt remember. I have called him twice with questions I had not thought to ask, and he has been most accommodating. They both made us feel welcome and part of the Chevy family. Your service department has been the only place our cars have been serviced - for that many years.
Fate had me cross paths with a deer leaving me with a broken heart and a broken truck. I went on the Sunnyside Chevrolet website and left an inquiry on a used truck I found. Jake Baxter called me and after I explained I was rebuilding my credit and my financial limitations he got right on it. A few phone calls later he gave me better news than I could have asked for. I only had to physically spend 30-45 minutes at the dealership and am now the proud owner of a used truck that they inspected and spent almost $1500 on to ensure I was driving a safe vehicle. Couldnt ask for an easier transition from my old car to my newer used vehicle. From the time I walked in till I got in my vehicle, Colleen made it easy for me to get what I was looking for from test drive to info about the truck all the way to keeping in contact with me while I was at work so that once I got off work all I had to do is call insurance to transfer the coverage and sign paper work. A few weeks ago I contacted the Sunnyside Dealership to inquire about a possible trade for my Classic 1969 Chevy SS Camaro. I was fortunate to be teamed up with Salesman Rick Belsito. Rick was very polite, professional, and genuinely interested in the description of my car, and was attentive to the terms and conditions I was looking for in a possible trade. As promised, Rick shared my concerns with General Manager,Greg Pawluk, who worked with Rick to present me with a fair and comprehensive trade that brought me a solid offer for my trade-in, and gave me a great deal for unique opportunity to purchase a 2018 Yenko Camaro. He pulled up carfax not only for my vehicle but for another vehicle i was looking at as well. When i wanted to take the vehicle for a used car inspection by an outside mechanic he facilitated it. The mechanic said the car looked great and was impressed with the car the dealership gave it. I was also in a rush and had to leave early. He had the car delivered after detailing and filling up the tank. I also spoke with Matt Smolik, who was friendly and helpful when their was a small issue with the cars windows. Overall, Sunnyside Chevrolet takes care of the needs of their costumers and works with in your means.
This is the second car I have purchased from them. I went through Mike F. As my sales person. He is awesome. I honestly probably bugged him every 6 months. I was looking at getting a fully loaded impala (2015 or newer). He gave me all the pricing and info for a new one and when I was about to give up hope he asked if it was ok and showed me a used one. I instantly feel in love with it. It had everything except the moonroof but he gave me info for a few local installers. The price is right and rather than lease I own this one. I always expect a great job no matter what I have done at sunnyside. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of care to my truck when I took it in for an oil change today. I stood and watched it being done this time and was a bit shocked to no see any protection being used on the front of the truck to protect the paint from getting scratched. And sure enough, it was indeed sratched. I have not reported it to them yet but, I hope it will be taken care of.. This is the 1st trck I ever had that is almost all painted throughout the grill area. Even has the greasy finger prints still next to the scratches.Dan Papai

I was looking to purchase a new Silverado. I called Sunnyside Chevy and spoke to Samantha. She was very friendly answered all my questions on a particular truck. I made an appointment to go out and test drive the truck for the next morning. She had the truck washed and waiting for me to test drive. She explained very thoroughly all I needed to know before I took it out on the road. We were satisfied with the truck and talked with Samantha at great length and decided to buy the truck. I took my Cruze in for a check engine light and an oil smell in the cabin. Turns out it was still under because the camshaft cover was cracked. I have always gotten top-notch service from Jerry - hes my go-to guy over there. He even found a coupon for me to use while performing some overdue maintenance. I highly recommend these guys!

This was my second appt to fix the same issue from a year ago when I initially brought in my car because the back window defroster did not work. A whole new back window was put in last year, only to realize that the defroster still did not work. At this appt this year, I was informed that the techs did not hook up the ground wires correctly from a year ago. I went 2 winters without a back defrost and the last year being because of the technicians. Ridiculous! Now, after this most recent visit my radio keeps cutting in and out. I realize the top 2 lines on my back window control the antenna for my car. This can only mean the techs messed up again. I can only say I am grateful for buying the extended warranty on my car because apparently the techs are trained to make repeat customers out of their clients. With that said, I also had an oil change and was told my bought warranty did not over the $54 cost. Seriously, this seems like quite the racket.Ps. This feedback was sent in two different email surveys received after my appt. Its been a month. I waited to be fair and see if they would contact me but they have not. So, here lies my rating and review for all others to see. They realized how shabby a job they did the first time that they didnt even bother calling me with the standard 3 day courtesy call to see how my service visit went. Still my radio cuts in and out. Completely unacceptable.
Service was quick, about 1 hr , oil chg/tire rotation and got a free car wash. Last time I had my 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport serviced at Big Nissan on Lorain Rd in North Olmsted the service advisor wrote NO WASH on my service ticket, and I paid for that oil chg/tire rotation. So when my 36 mo lease on the Sport is up I am writing NO LEASE on my ticket to Nissan.
Bought a used car from Jake and he did awesome job getting us best deal! We are happy with purchase for daughter and will be coming back again in future! He was quick and got us right where we wanted to be for payment...better than sitting 5 hrs at the kia dealer! Thanks again!! Go see jake !!
I bought a 2015 from here but when it was time for service it was nothing but a headache. I am not happy with any of the repairs as I feel they were not completed properly. I have had door problems since i bought the car and they were never able to correct it. They tried a few times, once they kept it for a week without even callng me to let me know whats going on. This is not a modern facility in fact its very elyris... If you drive a nice car dont bother taking it here. If you have to take it in, take it to the Chevy dealer in avon. They actually care about customer service.

2022-03-15Tammy Kopp one of the reps there has an attitude and her customer service skills are lacking. This is my second time having to deal with her and I try not to deal with her anytime Im there. Tammy likes to talk at the same time Im talking or over talk me. The first time I had to deal with her I left and got my vehicle serviced at a different dealership and it takes me an hour to drive there, which I typically dont mind if dealing with someone else. This time I thought perhaps it would be different but it wasnt. I will from now on avoid having to deal with her.Tammy is the main reason I gave a poor rating and as long as I dont have to deal with her my service experience is usually fine. However, to be fair Id recommend but advise those to bypass dealing with her.

2022-02-16Its a Five Star EVERYTIME. Ever since I came the first time there simply is no other place Id care to go for my cars. They are always really nice and as quick as they can be. Couldnt ask for better service. Pricing is pretty fair. Will be taking my car back for all maintenance and repairs.

2022-04-23I bought my car here in August didn’t have it a week and had to put a tire on it after paying them to patch it it went flat within hours. Than took it in for an oil change and my fan started running full throttle when the car was off. Than I went to my appointment which was 10 -15 minutes from where I was and it over heated. Left the doctors to go back to work 10 - 15 minute drive took almost an hour cause it kept overheating. Called the dealership and they said they can’t do anything for me until Monday, and they don’t offer rentals. It’s leaking coolant and oil!

2022-05-12I live over an hour away and my engine light came on. Got up to Elyria and took my car late on a Friday. Jerry was more than welcoming and set real expectations due to the service department being quite busy. Amazingly, I get a call the very next afternoon, that they were done with my car and it was fixed. I couldn’t pick it up until Monday, but I was super pleased!! Thank you so much, Jerry and team!!

2022-07-03We had our car in for some body work 4 years ago. Here we are 4 years later when we noticed a slight blemish in the paint. I took it back to have it looked into. Keith in the body shop told us that this is definitely covered under their warranty. He had us leave the car and was in constant communication with us in the status of the car. Keith was very accommodating and apologetic for the inconvenience. Thanks for the stress less experience Keith !!!!!

2022-03-05Car shopping, especially for previously owned vehicles can be an experience fraught with stressors. Are you getting a good deal? Are they going to be pushy? Will they even give you the time of day?I can report that this location, when dealing with David Wrice at least, is none of that. They make buying a car (relatively) as shopping for home goods at the local store.Walk in, get a friendly greeting, drive a car, figure out how to pay for it, drive away. No games, no pressure, no games.Simple, easy, direct.What car buying should be.
