This may get changed later, but over my first visit I was overwhelmed. There was so much to choose from, and I could only get one thing, I went with the Carmella Candy Blast thing. And although it was good, it was vannila ice cream and small candy peices, like no carmel drizzle, or maybe even, whipped cream. However tho, they have lot of fair like food, that I wish to try sometime, weird location tho.
Went for lunch and got a burger and cookie dough blast. Cant wait to go next time. Perfect portion for lunch! I was going to vet fries but I was full from burger and ice cream. Burger was so good but the salted caramel on the ice cream was amazing!!! Then then ball of cookie dough in the middle of ice cream was like dessert in your dessert!! So good!
Ordered 2 sandwiches, a shredded chicken and a sloppy Joe, and a chocolate malt. Shredded chicken was excellent! Loved it. Nice amount of chicken to bun ratio. The sloppy Joe was less than anticipated. A mere slathering of Joe. It was not sloppy! And I cant really give a taste opinion as it was mostly bun! Have to use a slogan of another restaurant.... Wheres the beef!? And while the chocolate shake was very good, (notice I didnt say malt!) I didnt taste any malt. So 4 stars. Maybe 3.5.
I do not live in the Bowling Green area anymore unfortunately, but every time Im within a 15 mile radius from the Sundae Station, I have to stop. I usually get the chocolate vanilla twist in a waffle cone and it is literally the best Ive ever had! Workers are always friendly and even when the line is 5 cars long, Ive never waited more than 10 minutes. Best ice cream place around!
The food is always good, but the girls working the windows need customer service training. Laughing the whole time while taking the order, and the girl taking orders on 1/31 around 6 pm was so rude. She just handed the stuff to us without saying anything and shut the window. Not even a here you go or have a good one.
This seems like a great little mom and pop ice cream place. Everybody is always very friendly. Everything we have had is good. Easy access in and out. Great alternative the other ice cream places down town. My only gripe is the .50 surcharge for using a debit/credit card. Where most other people charge half that. That will not stop me from coming back.
Sundae Station is THE go-to for ice-cream this side of BG, there are better places but the location here makes its convenience invaluable at times. Typically, it becomes a good hangout once summer roles around. It can be quiet busy at times, but the ice-cream is great!
Sundae Station is the best place to go in Bowling Green. They have such a large variety of options; there really is something for everyone! Plus, the owners are generous to the community and donated ice cream to the participants on a community bike ride. And, they sponsor local sports teams for the kids. Its a fantastic establishment, and our familys favorite place to go for ice cream.
A little disappointing that they got rid of orange sherbet for a week. The girl said they were running a special sherbet of blue and red, cant remember the flavor, but we made a 30 minute trip for orange sherbet only to leave when they didnt have it in for a random week. But the food/ice cream is always really good, best we have ever had in fact. Just wish they wouldnt take away menu items randomly for a week.
Average size human here.Theres a reason Ive never given them a tip. Their portion sizes are stingy compared to price. Order ice cream in a cup and they wont even fill it up and the first and last time I splurged and ordered an avalanche (ice cream with candy mixed in) the center was completely hollow. Its WELL worth the drive up 25 to Perrysburg to go to Mr. Freeze at the corner of 25 and South Boundary Street. Mr. Freeze is inexpensive with generous portion sizes. Ill warn you now, if you like a lot of ice cream, order a small cup because a large cup is far too much for the average person to consume in one sitting. I throw a dollar in those girls tip cups every single time I go which are usually labeled college fund. Oh, and another warning, the lines can be legendarily long in the evening, for obvious good reason. People like a good value! The other reviewers who claim Sundae Station has generous portion sizes have obviously never had the pleasure of going to Mr. Freeze in Perrysburg. Just go up there once and youll understand how ice cream is supposed to be served.Update 7/17/15: Decided to give them another shot to see if things have improved since last summer and its the same old tricks. Stingy on the portion size and hollow in the center. Theyve proven to be consistently sub-standard and I left no tip.
Stood inside at the order counter and got ignored for far too long. I had planned on a food order between $20 to $25, because I had the cash. The server/wait help wasnt the least bit friendly/or cordial. I will be sure to take my money elsewhere, and not waste my time there. This was on Feb 18, 2018 at approximately 3:45 pm. They were not overly busy either.

2021-07-22Excellent sundaes at a very reasonable price! We got a large peanutb utter sundae and a small mint/chocolate sundae (it wasnt on the menu but they made one for me!) Service was very fast! There are 3 walk up windows and a drive through. Ice cream was rich and creamy with toppings all the way to the bottom! We will be back. Note: pull around to the corner to the back of the Marathon gas station!

2022-06-01They always deliver the goods. The quality and speed of receiving the ice cream makes it one of the best in Ohio, maybe even the world.

2022-04-05This place has great food and ice cream. The ice cream sundaes are the highlight here. The only problem I have is with locals of BG giving me weird looks when I come here.
