Two dead trees and terrible customer service.Suncrest replaced a dead tree they’d put in under a new construction landscaping deal. The replacement tree also died. They guarantee trees for one year - but in my case they planted end of 2020. It took into the new year to see they given me a diseased tree. They wouldn’t budge on the one year guarantee. I’ve purchased trees and plants from them for a few years - but never again.
We were looking for a specific tree and found it and more at Suncrest Gardens. I had to put blinders on to stay focused on my quest. Wow, so much to choose from and so beautiful! The price was reasonable for a European Weeping Birch and they had plenty to choose from, not just one or two. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and really friendly too. I will be going back for sure!
Love this place!! Not only do they always have the cutest pots and home decor but they have TONS of plants! I have found plants I have been searching for that I couldnt find for months here! The staff is super nice and helpful too! Definitely my favorite shop near me! If youre thinking about going , stop and just go you will not regret it!
Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of plants, statues, and other artsy stuff they have available here. Ive driven by this place for years without ever stopping in to see what its all about, and I regret that! This place is seriously cool if you are looking for anything related to decorating your house, porch, or yard. I will never be going to any garden center at any chain store from now on. This place is awesome.
My husband and I went to Suncrest Gardens on June 7, 2021. We were Very impressed with their customer service and selection!!! We had been to 3 other nurseries in the area and Suncrest had better service by far! Prices were comparable to others. I will go here first next time!
Wow. The best garden center Ive ever been to! Staff was welcoming and amazing. The plant selection was unbelievable! My husband and I purchased a cart full of annuals and veggies and went back to drool over the incredible selection of houseplants and succulents. This store is my idea of heaven!
Really impressive place. Their prices are higher than other garden centers, but the plants here are very healthy, beautiful and well cared for. You’ll find everything you’re looking for and more. Staff was also very kind and helpful. Great place, I definitely recommend if you don’t mind the higher prices.
Awesome place with a very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have an extensive & beautiful selection of houseplants, annuals, perennials, shrubs & trees. I just wish they were more focused on native plants or had a section of their nursery that was devoted just to native plants.
Clean, organized, huge selection of healthy and well tended plants. Are handling COVID-19 appropriately (bring a mask its required) Even though they are clearly taking this seriously employees still asked if I needed help with anything (from a polite distance). Highly recommend.
Absolutely FANTASTIC Garden Center and luxurious super store. I could spend a million dollars here and come back the following day not finished. Incredible selection of everything your heart and imagination can dream of plus more. Its like the excitement of Christmas @ 6 years old for adults. (Whom love landscapes, art and the beauty of creative nature indoors or outdoors)10 out of 5 Stars. I walked the grounds with personalized help from the owner and picked out everything I needed to complete my weekend Rock Garden project. Her Contribution to its success will be captured in photographs that the entire staff expressed excitement and desire to see once complete.A specialty store like no other. Quality at its finest. Visit today for the Best.
Super wide variety of plants and flowers; definitely a better selection than the big box stores. Plus they have an interesting selection of garden-ish gifts that I havent seen anywhere else. Displays are amazing and dont forget to visit at Christmas!! Very unique place to visit and shop.
Until today have never had a bad experience at this store. Today I learned that the service you receive will be based upon your appearance. I arrived in gardening clothes, and could not get decent service to save my life. On the other hand the couple and gentleman in front of me recieved some of the best service they could get because they looked like they had money. Funny part my order was more than both of theirs combined. Will never shop here again!
Caution !! I dont know about the store, and probably never willBUT... I do know that the lawn care team they send out doesnt KNOW or CARE about hydrangeas and/or other flowering bushes !Its June 6. My bushes got trimmed yesterday. 99% of my flowering buds for late summer are gone.So instead of the beautiful flowers that are the focal point of my yard, this year I can look at... Green leaves ! Thank you Suncrest Gardens !Feel free to use this service, just dont plan on enjoying the flowers youve spent your hard earned time and money on.
Why is Suncrest Gardens censoring customer reviews? Dont believe me, then check back after reading this and it will disappear, then you will wonder how much the owner is hiding from the public.Everything in the store was overpriced. There was a rude employee (lady) behind the counter. A couple of customers rudely talking about millennials while staring at me. The establishment is difficult to find. There was a stinky odor throughout the inside building. Then I had to witness a boss (male) inappropriately yelling at the staff.
During our brutal snowstorms, two men helped me with my windshield wiper blade that had come off my car in a parking lot.I was getting the snow off my car one night, and when I tried to put the blade down, it came off in 3 pieces. I couldn’t figure out how to get it back together - and of course it was the driver side blade. I couldn’t see to get home. I needed that blade. It’s late at night and the parking lot is now empty. So I make the decision to “limp” over to a gas station I know is down the street. As I do so, I see two men plowing the parking lot. They work for Suncrest Gardens. I stopped and asked if they could possibly help. They were able to figure it out for me and I was so grateful!A week later - it’s another crazy blizzard. (Cars-can’t-get-out-of-parking-spaces-crazy.) I manage to glide my way through and come up to a stop sign in the parking lot that leads up a TINY hill and onto the main road. Now, this is a small exit that not many choose to use, as opposed to two others around the parking lot. But I kept slipping backwards trying to get through. It’s dangerous to try to go any faster, because of oncoming traffic right there. Just as I decided to go around the parking lot to a different exit, one of the same guys that helped me with my blade, drove up in a large plow. Through the windshield, he motioned “one second” with his finger, lowered the plow and began shoveling the extra snow away. I backed my car up to make it easier for him, and he even plowed the tiny hill and a portion of the main road so I could get the traction I needed to get through. It was sweet.I waved my thanks but felt I needed to come in here and express my gratitude for not one, but two times I was helped by two of Suncrest’s employees. They didn’t have to, but we’re kind enough to help a stranger twice. The second time with the plow, I don’t think he even realized I was the same car that needed help with the wiper blade. It was a great act of kindness. So, thank you to suncrest gardens - you seem to have some pretty spectacular employees who not only do a great job with their task, but also stop to lend a helping hand :)
What an amazing garden center! Helpful friendly staff, amazing selection, just to name a few great things about this place. Ive lived in the area for 6 years and just now found this place. I am compelled to write this review so that others will also find this gem. Great vegetable selection, tomatoes, tomatillos, costa rican sweet peppers, habaneros, thai peppers, lots of herbs, meyer lemon trees, Kumquats trees, you name it. Highly recommend. So much better than lowes, and cheaper too!
Bad experience last year for fertilizer application. As they applied the fertilizer, there was no note left and you didnt know if and when they did and what they did. They were supposed to apply 4 or 5 times per year but you really didnt know if they did or not. I had to call them several times for the service. Seems they didnt really care. Calling their contact always ended up with a voice mail and she usually didnt return my call. Change to a different company now.
First experience at Suncrest today and all I can say is WOW! This place just seems to have a little “something” on the other garden centers in the area. The selection is insane, there’s a gorgeous indoor shop with unique gifts for just about anyone (including myself hah) and the staff is wonderful, especially Rachel who assisted us today in picking out the perfect plant for a specific spot in our home. Having lived in DC for a while, this is about the closest you’ll get to the US Botanic Garden in this area and honestly I think it’s even a tad better! I’ll definitely be back to shop for my yard next spring, and they’re open year round so I also see quite a few “just to walk around and take in the beauty” trips in my future as well.

2022-07-30During a recent bike trip to Cuyahoga Falls, I stopped at Suncrest Gardens. First, the outside was overwhelming with quality and different choices: I wanted everything. I walked inside, and then I really became overwhelmed at product being offered. It was a good thing I was on my bike...my car would have been stuffed like I went Christmas shopping. Careful on my purchase, I chose an oxidized or rusted rabbit figure for my garden. Home I went and now my rabbit sits proudly against a rusted wrought iron fence at Rabbits Run, the name of my garden. The associates are friends ... like youve known them for years. This is a great place to stop, enjoy and naturally buy and bring something home.

2022-05-03My favorite garden center! They have an amazing selection of high quality, well cared for plants. I come here sometimes just to look at plants. The staff is extremely nice and helpful with recommendations as well. I love this place and will be using them to turn my house into my urban jungle.

2022-07-02I love the variety at Suncrest Gardens. I recently purchased quite a few shrubs and flowers from there for an upcoming landscaping project. I worked with Hannah and she was went above and beyond to make my experience wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She provided honest and professional feedback any time I asked. I look forward to many more trips to Suncrest Gardens!

2022-04-10I absolutely love Suncrest Gardens. They have fantastic selections of decorative pots, large planters, indoor and outdoor plants!I had to find some things for my wedding and I choose Suncrest because I knew they would have options! I got all they had of what I needed and will probably be back for more before my Wedding in June!I also have a lot of houseplants and knowing they were taken care of in the nursery gives me a better understanding when getting the plants home! I cant wait to find something new next time I am there!

2021-04-15My new favorite place. I was blown away by the selection and quality of the plants. They have everything from ground cover and your usual garden variety 😉 flowers, to massive trees and exotic and unusual finds - and beautiful containers for all of them. Pre-arranged hanging baskets, wind chimes, decorations, furniture pieces, succulents, soil, seeds and service. Wonderful service - very helpful but not intrusive, genuinely warm and welcoming. I really havent fallen in love with a place lately like I have with Suncrest. I used to stalk Donzells and mourned their loss. I found a place to fill the hole in my heart - and then some.

2022-05-23I never leave negative reviews because I have worked customer service and I know it’s a tough job. However, the service I received here was unacceptable. I was here for over an hour and never received any help or even a hello from the many employees working. Also, the prices here are too expensive compared to other garden centers - or Lowe’s for that matter. I left this place without buying anything and found it at Lowe’s for a better price.

2022-07-24I bought a hose case to hide my 100 ft hose. The one I bought was for 150 ft hose, my 100 ft hose barley fits in this box, plus its very difficut to wind it back up because it hits the ground, which causes friction which is like a gym work out just to put the hose back in the box. I wouldnt buy this again! They need to raise it either on wheels or make the bottom thicker with a floor so the hose doesnt hit the ground.

2022-05-22Great selection; but QUITE expensive compared to Petitis and Dayton Nurseries. I would come here if you wanted something specific, that wasnt widely available. But if youre looking for cost effectiveness, you wont find it here.

2022-06-10I live in an apartment complex that uses Suncrest Gardens for landscaping. Yesterday, the workers parked behind my car, which was parked in a handicap parking space. I felt trapped and had difficulty getting out for my doctors appointment. They didnt bother to move or pull the truck up, to make it easier for me. Of course I returned to find that they had pulled up lilies, 4 clocks and other flowers that my neighbor graciously planted for me. Good Grief!
