I’m disappointed that I have to give a rating of 1 star here because to be honest the majority of our stay at Strathmoor wasn’t too bad besides the constant need to nag the upstairs and downstairs neighbors for being so loud (not really their fault, the floors are just paper thin). What is really pushing me to leaving this horrible rating is the lack of respect and honesty that comes out of the main office and the management that controls them. They may come across as happy kind individuals to start but don’t be fooled, if they can trap you they will and that will include straight lying about requirements when moving out. Now I will be honest and say that I didn’t perform a portion of my duties when moving out (official strathmoor letter headed notice of termination) but what troubles me the most is that when asked what I needed to do to move out this portion was conveniently left out. Then I go to move out and they tell me that they renewed my contract for another year. Now there are a few problems here legally that can be pursued if you come to this scenario as well (as I’m sure I’m not the only one) so feel free to contact a lawyer and you’ll be fine I’m sure, I didn’t have the time or funds to work that side at the time. Instead I ended up “working” with the management to come to a conclusion. Now when I say working with I mean that I had to come to the office multiple times, call multiple times and leave multiple emails with no response, there was a consistent “too busy for you” atmosphere the entire time. After awhile I got over this until I finally paid what they wanted to get them off my back only to realize today that after all of this they did not contact the utilities company (after I told them my conversation with NEP was that they needed to confirm my leaving) until 10 days after we moved out. And I come to realize this when I have a late charge for my bill that doesn’t belong to me to start with. Overall, experience started average and ended miserably low. I would highly recommend not living here.
When my husband and I were looking for apartments in this area, for some reason we didnt have Strathmoor in our list, however, after seeing three other apartments in the area, we just happened to check Strathmoor. We met Gaby who showed us the model apartment, and we just loved the place instantly. Gaby was extremely helpful in getting us the kind of apartment we were looking for, I was very particular about the Vastu of the place and cant thank Gaby enough for giving us the best unit. Lori is awesome, she always greets us with a smile. She has been very helpful since the day we moved into this place. We have lived here a little more than 2 months now and we just love this place. The apartment complex is beautiful, it has great interiors, the corridors feel like corridors of some museum, nice display of beautiful pictures of famous places around the world. I get a lot of positive vibes living here, people here are friendly, I see a lot of cute and well-behaved fur buddies too, though I dont own one but seeing them around adds a feel good factor here. I had read reviews about noise being an issue here however I have never experienced any such issue. I can keep on praising this place, however , the best thing about this place is the management, I have never seen such a great management elsewhere. Since day one management doesnt stop to impress me with their excellent customer service. Almost all of my service requests have been addressed within a few hours
STAY AWAY.Almost since day 1, I had problems here. Within my 1st month at the apartment the complex fire alarm went off 3 times in the middle of the night and would last for 30-60 minutes. A pipe broke outside of my door (and was fixed the same day, so no problem here), the problem was they cut through the wall and just patched it up. No paint or anything for the next 5 months I was there. While this caused me no problems, you think for $1300 a month they would maintain their place. Homicide there, car break-ins.. so on and on.When going to break my lease after 6 months, I was not asked once why I was leaving or if they could do anything to keep me. While the front staff was always nice and helpful, you think they would have asked if I was having problem. Dont get me wrong, the place is nice and amenities are nice/new, but the money is not worth it for all the issues that the place has
After living here, for almost 3 years, my husband and I were completely disappointed in our exit. Its beautiful, but the walls, floors and ceilings are thin. We could hear EVERYTHING, our neighbors were doing! We slept with a fan on, every night, while living here, to mask the noise. We coukd also smell smoke from our neighbor while smoked!Lots of Fire alarm issues here, breaking in of cars on the surface lot on a regular basis and the murder of the Dublin Post Office worker, last December , just outside the door! (Which was never addressed by anyone to the whole community)!?After NEVER having a late payment, we thought our final few days of rent would come out if our deposit ( a misunderstanding on our part). Well, it didnt and they issued a late fee!? What? Lesson learned. The office staff (Tommy and Beth) are great. The head maintenance man, Bessart, is wonderful, as well. We would never recommend any Edwards Community to live or work at.
Easily the worst apartment Ive ever had. Broke my lease after 4 months due to loud neighbors, safety issues (roommate was threatened of sexual assault multiple times by a tenant that was allowed to stay), and everything kept breaking. We moved into a BRAND NEW unit, and we needed 6 maintenance requests in the first 30 days...
Love this apartment Strathmoorgood service from office- Sherri and her staff are really the best and nicest people i have ever meet in this capacity- delightful, kind and helpfultimely and good maintenance staffdesign of units is amazinglove corridor decori have lived here since it opened and am so happy.i recommend this complex to everyone- all ages.
Basically, really nice looking beer bottles, and they charge you for expensive champagne. The staff is professional and friendly, but its only a fake façade to pass as professionalism. With the exception of Lauren, no one is fully genuine. I come from a big fast paced city where we can see through people lies and fake façades. As far as the apartments, they are nice, but cheap items installed make living feel a little less than luxury. Very nice looking appliances on the outside typically fall short after a few months of use. Plastic fixtures and lower end appliances that look really nice dont complement the granite counter tops and hardwoods floors. They excelled in some areas of the living, and it seems that they cut corners in other. The insulation isnt that great for these Ohio winters, and I had strong drafts coming through my windows on cold windy nights. I fixed that by using some clear plastic and tape to keep the draft out.Living here isnt that bad, its just your typically suburban apartment complex. If this is what youre accustom to, its perfect. If youre like me, worked hard for what you want, can easily afford to pay the monthly rent and more, want real luxury, there are other options that would probably be more comfortable; genuine people, too.In short, Im not a resident whos behind on rent or bills. This is just a simple honest review from a tenant whos been evaluating this place and its people for the last 5 months.Update, 03/17/2015: Recently, the neighbor below me keeps complaining that I make too much noise in my apartment, and Ive been threatened with the possibility of an eviction notice. This warning came from a cop I know who lives in the complex as he informed me he was asked to investigate the complaint. BTW, still making my rent payments in full on time. Now, Im only home in the evenings, and when Im home, I eat dinner at my breakfast bar, chill on the couch, and watch T.V.; its been too cold to do anything else. Now, if I made a lot of noise, Id admit it quick and cool out. However, I dont have time or energy to be making noise. After a long day at work, who wants to be loud? With this being said, another month in the life of The Strathmoor. Dont get me wrong, there are many, many friendly people and neighbors who greet me with a warm smile and speak. There are some good suburban folk there.
Windows are the worst here for keeping in the heat. Theres large gaps of the openings of the door and sliding door. The water pressure SUCKS.... Like seriously fix that.... Pay a lot for a little space. The neighbors are super nice but for how much you pay.. Id expect more.
I dropped in and took a tour on 7/19 with Megan, based on a recommendation to view the property by their neighbor, Hayden Lofts. After viewing two other complexes previous to these both on the same day, I must say that the experience was nothing below spectacular. Although I decided to go with Hayden Lofts (simply because of the style of the units), our decision was tough between what we chose and another wed seen at Strathmoor.Megan was cheerful after a long day, helpful with questions (even my dumb ones), and made my girlfriend and I feel right at home. I had not previously visited an Edwards Community property, but after touring with Michelle at Hayden, and then Megan at Strathmoor, I doubt Ill look elsewhere as long as Im in Columbus.Highly recommended from someone who has high standards for service, safety, and cleanliness with a mid-sized budget.PS - I see some negative reviews on here, which I cannot attest to since I havent spent a night in the units. I will say that the units we visited (which were not show-units) seemed to be quality from carpet to cieling.
Anthony Athy you could not have said it more perfectly. My partner lives at the Strathmore and it is the cheapest built apartment building Ive ever experienced. I cant believe how much rent he pays to live in a cardboard box! I can hear the girl that lives above us opening and closing her drawers in her bathroom. My 1927 Bungalow house in the ghetto is more quiet and less drafty than his apartment. And the management is all incredibly fake and incompetent. He has a never lived in before unit that they had to cut six holes in his ceiling where the duct work had been smashed by the plumbing pipes, so we were not getting any airflow out of the HVAC vents in the middle of winter. You couldnt pay me to live in that apartment!

2022-01-07Still a great place to live in 2022! This is my favorite apartment out of all the places I’ve ever had. Love my Pool-view balcony, black granite countertops, and the super-high ceilings that allow me to keep a 9 foot Christmas tree in my 580 square foot apartment. The Strathmoor is the best kept secret in Dublin.

2022-07-01I have just moved in last week and started well to settle myself. Currently good as expected such as the cleanliness of apartment, convenient access through the covered parking and elevator. Hope to continue well communicating with neighbors and the staff/management.

2021-10-06The management staff is sooo helpful. I was communicating with Maeve, and we were communicating by email for a while before we moved in. If I had any questions or doubts regarding my move-in or even after move-in. She was always there ready to help with anything. Apart from that, I love the cleanliness in my apartment and alongside in the community as well. The clubhouse is full of things to do :)

2021-06-02The people here that Ive worked with have been downright amazing to work with. They have great patience and are very knowledgeable. This place was my #1 place to move to, and I toured 15 other apartment communities - but due to unforeseen circumstances Im not moving anywhere anytime soon. The employees there were more than understanding and were a great pleasure to work with. Especially Amanda! If I ever anticipate moving into an apartment complex again, this is the place!

2021-01-29Strathmoor was by far the best residence I have ever lived in, the cleanliness, timeliness with staff responses, professionalism, and maintenance of the apartment and property was outstanding. I have nothing ill to say about this apartment complex. The management has done a fine job.

2020-09-29I have loved living at the Strathmoor. The staff are friendly and the amenities are great. There is a first floor parking garage (for a price) and a dog park/indoor washing station in the back of the property.

2016-02-24I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Strathmoor apartments. I moved in with my fiance in September and it has been wonderful since day 1. Sherri, Caroline, and Gabby have been outstanding and made the leasing and moving process as simple as can be. The complex is very dog friendly as it has a courtyard, dog park, and even a dog spa! The amenities are great and I could go on and on. I would recommend it to anyone!
