This place was complete trash no bites nothing in the crack house looking bait shop there were more cats walking around then catfish in all the ponds and some lady almost ran over cats and was using six poles and no fish so dry
Great fishing. Friendly owner. Quiet. 2 ponds 1 larger lake. Camping available.
Good down home ppl running the bait shop and lake. Peaceful good fishing clean. Its our second home in the summer

2022-07-29I see a few bad reviews I even know Tonya Metcalf and I been going to stoney for ten years or so and can say Roy is a real good person and his son and grand son I believe are good ppl and Ive caught a ton of nice fish there and had a lot of good times there only once did I not catch a fish there and must say Ill go again and to be clear Im a customer not no kin just a city man who fishes and I tell ya I done some good fishing there ya ll cant rate a place on a bad day give it more than once than say what u think bout the place this could affect a man feeding his family and tell the truth as I have thanks ya ll be safe

2022-02-19I have been going to stoney meadows lake since they opened.Roy, is a fair an honest man. Joe and April help out there as well.They have always done me well. No complaints. If you arent catching fish, maybe your using the wrong bait for the season.I have caught all kinds of every time I went.There is good spots and not so good spots.But there is always fish there. Maybe you should learn about fish habits then go fishing.Knowing is half the battle when its about fish.Stoney Meadows will always be my first choice for fishing.They are nice to people even if your having a bad day.Good business.

2021-03-16Place was HORRIBLE. No fish at all we were there for 3 hours with no bites. Ended up costing me and my 3 friends $60.00 for absolutely no fish and not even a bite. The shack had absolutely nothing in it. We fished at all 3 pounds and we had 6 poles at different spots and no bites at any pound. They say you can take up to 7 fish home but I believe there wasn’t even that many in all 3 pounds together.

2020-08-27Stony meadows is an awsome place to come unwind and do some laid back anglin. I brought my kids out and we stayed all night. Camped out,had a fire, played some cornhole and caught some nice size catfish. The staff was very helpful and provided us with more than what we needed. Food was good. Cooked to order. They Even had led lights for the bobbers during night fishing. Plan to return definitely!!

2021-09-19Would give zero stars if this was an option. Fished 12 hours not one bite . Water was so mossy. No clear water through the lake. Terrible fishing experience. Dont waste your time or money

2020-08-18Easily the best paylake I have ever been to! Its great for the family and kids! My 3 year old loves it here as do I. The people that run the place are just great people and we always catch fish! I highly recommend!

2020-09-18Perfect place to fish... I grew up fishing here with my dad the owner old man roy was amazing gave great deals stocked regularly and fish always hungry the food is amazing the family is down to earth VERY FRIENDLY an treats you like your family an they always give kids stuff to eat and do... Prices are fair food is great the BURGERS are the best and not to expensive... The bait shop is always open an someone there will cater to you... I jus love this place you can camp have fires am have a great time fishing with the family
