Staybridge Suites Columbus-Dublin, an IHG Hotel in Dublin

Location on the map
Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio, US
Positive: Close to the highway and the zoo. Large suites good for families. Negative: Lots of water damage evident throughout the hotel. Also music blaring in the parking lot for an hour at midnight. Woke both my small children up so we had to check out and leave at 1a so they would sleep in the car.
Place looks nice in pictures. Needs some serious updates. Lots of poor patch jobs. Our sink countertop was cracked in half, cauk was the fix. Doors didnt shut. Elevator was broken, washer broken, rusted fixtures, curtains didnt work, etc. Only seemed to have one person working. Person was super nice and helpful. Felt bad for him as he was so busy. Pool water was cloudy and my eyes were burning just being in the room. Room did not feel clean at all. We stayed at a stay bridge before and loved it. This was the opposite experience.
Positive: The hotel staff was nice Easy checkin and check out Liked the kitchen in the room Negative: A lot of rust in the hotel-walls and doors rusted Dirty stairwell and carpets The tub was not clean, mildew, residue Very small tv in room, no remotes worked Ton of rust in the indoor pool room-couldn¿t tell if pool was clean, didn¿t trust i
Social hour should be improved...better menu ...a cook that is knowledgeable in preparing...overcooked /undercook veggie is less to be desired in looks and taste. If the food is gone within 1.5 hour then u are cooking enough...very little was placed out....to offer pretzel bites ...what a joke. Please change your menu...be willing to add a turkey or beef product for breakfast...bacon..pork .pork please be concern of someones health ...improve the social....prep is grade of C/D.
I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. Upon entering the room it was very run down, dirty, and most of the furniture and doors were broken. The breakfast was a joke, we got down as soon as it opened and there was chicken fingers that’s it. We waited over an hour for any kind of food, milk or coffee. We ended up just leaving.
Positive: Family friendly and breakfast Negative: Our room got switched without our knowledge. Got downgraded from a king to a queen bed (waiting for the 50 credit). Didnt realize until the next morning our bed sheets were stained? Vomit. Just seemed like the place needed a update and fresh coat of pain
Promising stay that was overshadowed by problems. We were accommodated with discount to the final price, but they still overshadowed what was supposed to be a great extended family getaway. Wish this review could have highlighted the better pets, but they were just far outnumbered.
Positive: Booked the hotel due to free breakfast, with kids that was a cheap option. Negative: Though there was free breakfast there wasnt a whole lot of room to dine, we ended up leaving without because there was only one table to two left. There was maybe only maybe 8 in total.
Positive: The coffee was good but outside of that I was very disappointed Negative: The room and amenities seemed nice but were poor quality My comforter and shower curtain had blood on them Glass and other trash on the floor The bed was very uncomfortable The couch was beyond dingy The pool area was freezing I could list so much
Good room but the stairwell had the dirtiest carpet I have ever seen in any hotel- and we have stayed at dozens of different such places. Also the Television service had lots of problem and the TV itself was not very good. The room itself was just fine for comfort, cleanliness and a good value. The check in guy was very polite and helpful. Just the two issues mentioned above. If the carpet was replaced in the stairs I would have rated it perfect. So bad it was off-putting.
In town for a medical emergency and not many hotels accept pets. Location was convenient to interstate for trips to the hospital. Staff bent over backwards to make sure that we were comfortable for the duration of our stay. Many nice restaurants nearby and staff was kind enough to suggest both restaurants and local parks to exercise our dog.
Positive: Staff was friendly Negative: Hotel room seemed much less than 3 stars. I have stayed at another 3 star hotel in the area recently. Kitchen floor was sticky, living room furniture was very worn and stained, cracked windows, very dirty around all the vents in the rooms, sheets stains.
Staff was nice, and check in was easy. Room was clean. Bathroom lighting was worst part of the room, just kinda dark in there. Bed was nice, tv was easy to use. Close to food and drinks. We went to stay for the zoo and waterpark attractions, this was a great location for that.
Positive: This extended stay was as anyone should expect for the price per night. I read a lot of negative reviews about updates and old furniture, but I didn¿t see any of you staying at a newer, more expensive hotel in the area, and there are plenty to choose f Negative: Stay was great. Thanks for having a full Kitchen and friendly staff. Pool was great, outdoor area with grill and fire pit a bonus.
From the outside the hotel looks great, the lobby is nice. Then there are the Stairs, carpets are worn stained and smell like cat urine. Stairs move and you step on them and are slopped due to excessive use or poor quality. The building looks to have settled when you enter the room. the Door was broken and would not close with out pushing or pulling it closed. Every wall had cracks and plaster coming off. The kitchen floor was warped, the tub water spout was loose and broken when you pulled the lever for the shower it pulled from the wall. Toilet was damaged and you had to lift the handle to stop it from running. HVAC system was not locked and I found a filter that appears to have never been change. Will not stay again.
I recently stay for two nights at this hotel. The gentleman working the front desk was wonderful. Check in was a breeze and he was both kind and professional. Everything after check in was NOT great. The room was not cleaned to a high standard. It was tidy, but my husband and I pulled out the wipes and went to work before letting our child touch anything. The bed was old and lumpy. I could smell the person who last used the pillow before me. YUCK! The room also was neglected. It could use a fresh coat of paint and had water stains on the ceiling. I could also hear the people in the next room like they were in the room with me. The location was great if your there to visit the zoo, but there are ALOT of other options in the vicinity. When we return in the future, we will be staying elsewhere.
There was red paint/lipstick and lipmarks/blood all over the walls, the carpets were dirty, and the walls also had scuffs all over them. The biggest mistake was that our room (which was supposed to be non-smoking) frequently smelled of smoke, and one of our guests is pregnant and cannot be in such an environment. The TV in one of the bedrooms did not work, and the toilet in the same bedroom also did not work. We brought all of this to the attention of the front-desk staff, and they apologized, but did nothing to fix the issues or make us feel any better, thus resulting in us checking-out early. We were very disappointed in the room during our stay, and felt quite misled based on pictures on the hotels website.
This was the first and last time I will be staying in a Staybridge. Upon entering our room I picked up a bar of soap to wash my hands and a cockroach was sitting underneath of it. In addition the room was in poor condition. The couch was old, the closet was missing doors, the ceiling was peeling, the baseboards were partially gone, and the wall near the air vent was covered in a black dust. Another upsetting part of our stay here was the fact that there were children running rampant in the courtyard and in the pool without parent supervision. If it were a couple of children I wouldn’t have minded but it was around 30 kids and even more parents. Even worse, the parents were in the lobby and courtyard drinking copious amounts of alcohol. They stayed up past quiet hours screaming in the courtyard. The only redeeming quality about this hotel was the phenomenal staff and I appreciated all they did for us during our stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and they should really think about remodeling.
The hotel needs some updating and deep cleaning. Our couch was worn and the floors were very dirty on the non carpeted areas. I spilled something and wipped it up with a paper towel and when I picked it up it was covered in grime. They are also not offering the good breakfast and the welcome reception that are a huge part of why we chose staybridge. They said it’s because they have a staffing issue. I get that, but it should be made clear on the reservation that you are not getting the expected services. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Location was good for our purposes.
We liked the motels location, its cleanliness and comfortable room. My wife needs cool temperatures at all times and the rooms air conditioning was completely controllable(a big plus). Not real thrilled with the bagged breakfast from the front desk. We thought at this stage covid was not a sufficient reason to offer only this cold, limited selection. Desk staff were pleasant and helpful.
I loved our room. The space suited our family’s needs for our one night stay to attend my niece’s graduation party. We were close to the pool which made it easier with young excited kids. Pool was clean. My only concern for cleanliness was with the bathroom and the pull out bed. Housekeeping needs to do a better job at checking to make sure under the cushions are being cleaned. The shower curtain rod was loose and I was afraid it was going to fall down. Other than that, everything went well with our stay.
There is a distinct difference between this Staybridge and others I have been to. There was significant damage to our room from an optics standpoint. The bathroom had the shower curtain rod replaced and you could clearly see large places where drywall putty was added but never painted over. There were multiple broken knobs on cabinets. The carpets are clearly never shampooed. They were dirty enough we would not let our children play on the floor. The vent in the master bedroom was hanging. The dvd player remote did not work. And the faucet in the master bath was leaking. The footstools had a questionable white stain all over it. Finally the upper door lock was broken. You can tell they are clearly having staffing and maintenance issues. When I brought this up to the front desk, they did not seem surprised by any of it which was bit bothersome. They did give us a decent discount and were very helpful with other questions. They are certainly trying in conditions made not great by either cheap management or lack of staff or a combination of the two. This is not your high standard Staybridge. It does offer multiple rooms and apartment layout but at the cost of a less than expected standard. Would recommend somewhere else until they get their problems resolved.
We have a large family so having a two bedroom suite was wonderful! That being said there were clearly unvaccinated people (kids) unmasked near the elevator a lot. More than once during the wee hours of the morning we had someone trying to come into our room (which is scary with little ones!). There were several repairs needed in our suite (the ice maker did not work at all, and there is no ice machine; one toilet handle stuck, the water in the shower never really got hot, the faucet in one bathroom would hardly shut all the way off, the dishwasher did not clean dishes, the security latch on our door was broken, etc). Due to COVID we were offered housekeeping twice during our over two week stay, but with a large family it was hard to feel prepared for not knowing when they would come so we ended up with a lot of trash we would have to sit out and amassing a lot of towels because we couldn’t get those things taken care of easily. The staff were friendly enough but we had little interaction except when we were asking for something (like ice or for someone to just change out towels), and our couple questions were met with what they could not do for us. We understand that COVID has changed how things are done though, so it is what it is…it just made our long stay a little more difficult.
It’s nice for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and in good repair. However, due to COVID or whatever, maintenance is slipping in the overall property. Stairwell carpets are dirty, the lawn has a lot of weeds, walls are dinged up, doors to the pool are gathering rust, etc.
Suites were roomy and the full kitchen was nice. Shower had great water pressure and got really hot. The bed/bedding/pillows were super comfortable and clean. My only 2 cons were that they didnt have accessible rooms available and the sound from the hallways and other rooms was ridiculous. All the doors slammed REALLY hard and there was absolutely no soundproofing between walls or ceilings.
Would give it 5 stars if my allergies werent bad during our stay. I checked the air filter on the furnace/ventilation system and it was extremely dirty. It had years of caked on dust which is a little scary to be like that during a pandemic. Other than that, the room was clean and the kitchen was very cool to have when youre staying for 10+ days. The elevator takes a long time so be prepared to leave 10 minutes early for your Uber.
Master bedroom bathroom smelled heavily of cigarette smoke (which my husband is allergic to), the bathroom floors were sticky, none of the television remotes worked to control the televisions, there was a yellowish orange stain on the ceiling near the kitchen, our bed was slanted and very uncomfortable, and the couch was old and looked dirty. Not only that, a man was complaining about his room being dirty when we were waiting to check in. Is this a common theme here? The good parts: The staff is very welcoming and very friendly. The road to the entrance is connected to a gas station which is very convenient, the courtyard in the back is very pretty with a fire-pit and the indoor pool is right near it, and our room came with everything we would need for a long stay (pots, pans, stove, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, dishes, silverware, etc.
We stayed in a two bedroom suite during our recent stay. The room layout was excellent for two families or a large single family. When we got to the room, we found confetti on the floor from a previous guest, cobwebs in the corner of the living room, the TV remote control behind the couch, a broken closet door, a broken screen, a very loud air conditioner, and a toilet that barely flushed. We dealt with the cleanliness issues, but called the front desk for the toilet issue. Their response was to bring us a plunger. Overall, the room layout was fantastic, but the hotel itself needs some major repairs. We will avoid this particular hotel in the future.
We requested a one bedroom suite and were given it. It worked out very well for my daughter and me. When I asked the receptionist about an ice machine to get ice for our cooler when checking out, he volunteered that he could get a couple of bags of ice for us which was very helpful. The stay was the last on a two-week trip, and it was very restful.
The indoor pool was open (March 2021) bonus for my 11 year old. The stay was great overall. We traveled for an early morning gymnastics meet, I requested late check out. Unfortunately, I had to call to let them know the meet was running behind. I was not treated well during that call, but I confronted the receptionist when we returned and he explained and also helped make it better. Good location, we often enjoy the spacious units when we stay with staybridge. This was no exception. I travel a lot, so it varies but this staybridge was great. The breakfast options (during covid) were well above other hotels I’ve been to recently.
Despite the lone worker at the front desk being inundated with multiple guests arriving for check-in at once, she remained positive and courteous to each person in line. The room was comfortable, though the couch was a bit worn and the view was of a gas station. We had a pleasant stay and look forward to visiting again.
My family came up from Cincinnati to visit the Columbus Zoo and stayed Friday night. Instayed her due to the fact they had a two bedroom unit so I used points to stay and got 1 two bedroom unit and a king suite room due to my two kids and their spouses and kids. My wife took the queen bed in the two bedroom unit and when we got in toned the bed was broken the frame being collapsed my wife had no support and I felt I would roll down the mattress on her all night. The mattress was very uncomfortable anyway but man was this unit outdated. I won’t return to this location as their are other hotels all over the area .
If you want to feel like you are laying in bed with the folks in the neighboring room, than this is the place for you! I got a total of 2 hours of sleep due to people in the next rooms, people outside, and people in the hallways. Unless you have a white noise machine or earplugs, I would recommend going elsewhere for a good nights rest.
I travel frequently and this is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Their was dirt on the floors, bathroom and even in the light fixtures. The hallways and stair had stains and in one stairwell there were so many stains on the carpet it looked like they had not cleaned in years. This is hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve had and would strongly recommend never staying here.
We stay at this hotel twice each year traveling through Dublin. The hotel is old and needs attention but it was always clean, comfortable, homey and staff was very cordial. We are very disappointed and upset to have been charged DOUBLE for the same room that we stay in each visit. Check in was stressful due to staff attitude. The bathroom (toilet) was not clean at all! This hotel is NOT worth what is being charged at this time. It seems gouging is occurring here since people are finally able to get out and travel. We will be using another hotel from now on in our travels through Ohio.
Our hotel was excellent in many ways. When driving up to the hotel the grounds and exterior were very clean. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice, showing no wear. The bed and pillows very comfortable. Enjoyed the pool which is outside the main structure and actually looks like a pool house. The free breakfast was very good with lots of items to chose from. A courtyard in the center of the complex was very nice and well appointed with plants, a fish pond, comfortable chairs, and gas fired burn pit. Theres also free laundry: washers and dryers. The gym is also well appointed with various machines and weights. Theres TV screens on each machine and free headphones for guests. Finally, the cost per night were very reasonable. We enjoyed our experience and would more than likely stay at any Staybridge Suites on our future travels.
Recently I stayed at this hotel twice. First one was in last November for 2 weeks. Second one was in February this year. For the 1st visit, my room heating and A/C unit was not working when I checked in. So they gave me a space heater, which is fine with me. But after several days, the weather became hot and I needed A/C. But the unit was still out of order so it was really hot in my room. Until two weeks later when I checked out, the hotel still had not starting fixing this. For my second stay in February this year, when I checked in, I found the bath tub had an issue, the lamp above the stove in the kitchen was not working, and dish washer was falling apart from the wall. During my stay for the two weeks, only the bath tub issue was resolved at the second day. The other issues were still there when I checked out after two weeks. There was another issue. For the breakfast, they offered, and I wanted the boxed milk. But I found the date on the milk box showing Jan. 28, 2021. It was late February and the hotel was distributing these boxes of milk. The senior front desk staff was saying this is the sell by date, not the expiration date. He said they tasted everyday and it is fine. By then, it has been more than one month since the sell by date. And until the last day of the hotel stay in March 5th, they were still giving me the box of milk which the sell by date is on Jan 28th!
The only good things about this stay included the helpful front desk attendant and the fact that the hotel did refund our room. We had stayed at this exact property last year and had a beautiful room. We had loved the spacious suite and how homey it felt. However, as soon as we walked in the door this trip, our entire family noted that this room was nowhere the same as our last. This room was dingy looking. The couch had an enormous nasty looking stain, the chair had a huge rip, the table wobbled when you touched it, the tv stand looked worn and the room just looked unwelcoming. We decided to overlook the cosmetics of the room and threw a few towels on the couch. However the last straw was when we went to use dishes in the cupboard and the dishes still had food stuck to them. The fridge had food smeared on it and the stove was dirty. In the wake of Covid-19, it made the room feel exceptionally unclean and we wondered what else had NOT been cleaned. My husband contacted the front desk to let them know our room had some issues. He was very polite about it and ended up getting a refund along with a bottle of cleaning solution and a rag (at our request). We went through and cleaned every surface in the room ourselves and put all of the dishes through the dishwasher before using them. Thankfully the bedding appeared to have been changed and cleaned. The bed was comfortable. However, the next night we ended up staying an extra night in Columbus due to the weather back home but we did NOT book another night at this hotel. This was our 3rd hotel weve stayed at since Covid-19 and it was by far the worst experience as far as a hotel making us feel safe for staying out of our home.
The staff shortage was detrimental to our stay. Rooms were not clean, found dirty sock under desk and cookie on the floor by the bed. Clean towels were not brought in on day two. The bedroom door was broken, wall shelf was broken. The correct rooms were not available, when we inquired, staff member was rude and aggressive towards us.
At check-in, there was no attendant on duty so I waited 10 minutes for someone to arrive. Upon check-in, I saw various crumbs on the floor in different places, indicating the suite had not had any vacuuming done prior to our arrival. Although everything was functional, this property needs renovation/updating. For example, there were marks/spots on different walls, a closet door that did not open or close properly, chipped and cracked woodworking in places, broken ottomans, a non-functioning exhaust fan in the one bathroom, and other things like this. Ive stayed at other (presumably newer?) Staybridge Suites and didnt have these types of issues. The breakfast buffet consisted of a predetermined bag of cold breakfast foods, and the Managers Reception is still not back in place.
So, let me preface this by saying that I dont expect much. But I do expect a hotel that brags about cleanliness, to be clean. We threw away the socks we wore on our one day there (less than 24 hours-- we got out ASAP) because they were too filthy to be saved. My toddlers feet were blackened. There was a massive cobweb on the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. The couch and chair were obviously ancient. The walls were in disrepair and there was duct tape on the wall behind one of the curtains. The DVD player hadnt been hooked up and there were no batteries in that remote. One of the TVs didnt work, and a worker came in unmasked to check it out. One of the toilets ran intermittently. Just disappointing all around. And when I informed the manager on the way out, he was skeptical about the filthy carpets and said the maintenance issues couldve been handled in 5 minutes. Maybe, if someone answered the front desk phone. The first time we went to the desk to speak to someone, there was a sign saying the desk was empty because the attendant was helping another customer.
Large, clean rooms with a separate little sit-in kitchen and separate living room area. The front desk attendant was friendly.Dont pay extra money for the breakfast because you might be disappointed with what they say is an adult breakfast. Its a brown bagged make-it-yourself instant oatmeal, piece of fruit, granola bar, muffin, yogurt, and child size juice in a cardboard carton.Luckily, we are not big early breakfast eaters, so it wasnt a big deal for us.The room we stayed in was on the 5th floor, but our view was of the top of a gas station and the hotel parking lot.My Man was watching SNL in the living room area and said there must have been some serious parties happening on our floor because he heard about it until late into the night. The bathroom is small and outdated and had seen better days, but the water pressure was good and things appeared to be clean. The place is more for long term rentals, Im guessing, but even then, if business people stay there, you would think they would update things a bit more.We might stay there again if we couldnt find anything else in our price range, but its definitely not going to be on the top of the list.
Definitely overpriced for the condition of the room. Stayed at Staybridge before and this definitely isnt up to the standard of the other locations. Smelled like animal urine in the hallway & in the room. Furniture was very worn and the caulking around the tub was black. Website should updated to inform guest that breakfast really isnt provide. Traveling with children the fresh fruit and waffles are a must. This was a very poor value, very disappointed
We stayed in a one bedroom suite for 2 nights while visiting my family. I loved that it had a separate room with beds and the sofa sleeper for my kids. The doors that led to the bedroom did get in the way if you needed to get to the bathroom. The kitchenette was great too. They have nice JR Watkins shampoo and soap in the shower. The room seemed very clean but the hallways needed some cleaning. There was a huge spiderweb on one of the entrances. The courtyard could use some beautification. The woman who checked me in was very kind, I think she was one of the managers. I appreciated that she called me after check in to see if everything was okay in my room. The breakfast was decent, they also have a Monday-Wednesday dinner but it seemed more geared toward business people because they served alcohol. I loved that they had free laundry services, you just need your own detergent. Overall it was a nice stay and we would stay again.
Theres nothing more I can say that what I havent said already! Everything was just fantastic your staff was great, the atmosphere was beautiful, the room was just fantastic and everything in there that I need it to enjoy five days of peaceful rest unfortunately my girlfriend couldnt make it because of her duties at the hospital. Shes a nurse at select Hospital in Columbus and I wished you could have gotten off but things are kind of busy for her but I enjoyed the rest of the had there.
From the outside of the hotel it looks very nice but that is where it ends. Five girls traveled for a bridal shower. The pictures of the suite must be when it was new. The furniture is discusting. We put sheets over it to sit on. The halls and room had an oder. The property is in desperate need of a major Reno. I will say the beds were decent and the staff was very nice.
Positive: The gentleman at the front desk was clearly busy and dealing with a lot. Yet all the while he remained calm and courteous. Negative: The housekeeping staff CLEALY only half way did their job. There were clumps of jelly on the counter, some substance spilled on the dishwasher and the fridge was disgusting.
The room we initially checked into had plaster falling from the bathroom ceiling and was all over the tub and floor. We were relocated to another room and along the way to it became overwhelmed by the HORRIBLE smell lingering in the hallway. Smelled like a decomposing body in someone’s room! The furniture was ALL worn and stained even the flimsy sofa bed mattress. The only good thing about the suite was the size. Wouldn’t recommend staying here, lack of comfort and cleanliness and staff. There was only ONE person on duty at a time during our stay.
We have always had good experiences at Staybridge we often travel with our dog. On arriving we cleaned all of the flat surfaces door knobs switches and remotes due to Covid. We were alarmed to find 2 of the windows wide open on the 4th floor with no screens. The beds and baths seemed clean and we went to bed shortly after arrival. In the morning I realized that their was old food in the cabinets and trash under the sink. It also appeared that the floors and carpets were not clean. The fan in the 2nd bathroom was broken. I spoke to the front desk and was assured they would look into it. We did not want housekeeping due to Covid. The stairwells, interior of the elevator and all of the common areas were unkempt. When I checked under the edges of the bed before checkout I was alarmed and disgusted. There were vape pens, wrappers for personal items, food bits, jewlery and a lolli[pop stick . Instead of doing an electronic checkout I opted to speak to the front desk. I was told The Room Had Been Marked as Clean and Should Not Have Been . Really so We stayed in a dirty room during Covid? No they just didnt vaccum. Apparently or check the cabinets or take out the trash or close the windows so yes .. We stayed in a dirty room during Covid. They even had the gall to charge a $75 pet cleaning fee. Trust me when I say my dog is cleaner than the previous guests. Staybridge did refund 1 nights stay but that did nothing to allay my anxiety or make us feel safe. They clearly are not following the advanced cleaning procedures they tout on the website. We will never stay at this Staybridge again and will think twice befor staying at any IHG hotel
Overall the experience was good, the front desk staff were friendly, polite, and well prepared. There was a significant odor of sewer gas in the room that lasted for hours despite running the water in the shower and sink (I assumed it was a dry trap). The next morning the odor was gone (or at least less noticeable). The layout of the room was nice; very conducive to productivity if traveling for business. The gym being closed was annoying; it could easily be cleaned after use. There were also hairs in the shower and the body wash container was empty. Overall not a bad place, is a great location, just need a bit more attention to detail.
Thank you for taking the time to read this review.I think the pictures say it all what shape this Hotel is in. For a IHG brand I guess I expect more than what we experienced. The access stairs were a mess with not only salt, which I expect but stains and worn carpet.Once in the room, we were very disappointed with the condition. The couch is disgusting and worn. There was NO way I was going to get my wife to sit on it, thus making the bed the only place to sit.The ceilings in both the kitchen area and bathroom were water stained along with the window/AC unit.I understand that hotels need repaired from time to time however this was neglect.Suggestion, please take a room off line until you repair it, that is the least you can do for your loyal customers.Thank you for your time
Small rooms than I expected, the towels are very rough. Peeling paint all around. Every outlet used only bottom half worked. The set up of the beds next to bathroom, made it feel like a motel. The workers were very nice and accommodating. The option for full fridge, dishwasher, silverware, pots and pans and stove top is why I have as many stars rated.
I am a member of the IHG properties and have chosen to book thru my app and stay at their 5 star properties and unfortunately I chose to stay at one of their lesser rated properties because of the location. I figured I couldn’t go wrong because of their excellent cleanliness branding well I was highly disappointed.. I have photos and will make a Google review. The gist of the matter was brought to the attention at the end of my stay to the GM Jody Mayer at that time he was hostile and very argumentative with me about my complaints. He then gave me a false receipt for one night that he said he removed. I was charged for my full stay anyway. He is the worst!
This was a great hotel. Clean, convenient, comfortable and all the extended stay ammenities I wanted for my one night stay as I travel with food. The staff was very attentive, even apologizing for having to use a paper check-in system because the computers were down....but they were on it and it went just as fast. I needed something from the desk and they brought it very fast. They were friendly at check-in and in Breakfast service. My only challenges were the very slow flow toilets and at the end of Breakfast the food was a little bit on the cool side. I needed a home like place to crash and this was exactly it.
I wish the pool would have been open a little longer and the fire pit left on a little past 10. I feel like 10 is to early to turn it off and most people like to stay up a little after their kids go to sleep and relax. Overall though, the hotel was extremely nice and would definitely stay again.
We had a two night stay. The floors were sticky and when we wiped them they towel was black. The phone in our room didnt work. The couch was broken and sagging in the middle. They do NOT do daily room cleanings if you stay more than one night. They dont refill anything, not even towels. I had to walk to the front desk to get anything since our phone didnt work. We had old hard cream and sugar in the cupboard. Would not recommend this hotel.
Overall I was satisfied with our visit. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They layout of the suite was very good for traveling with my family and two young children. However, the room itself felt a little worn out. It needed some paint touch-ups. There were some small things like water marks on the furniture and it could probably use a deep cleaning (like pull the furniture out and really get in the corners type of cleaning.) The carpet was peeling a little and the body wash dispenser in the shower did not work. There were no major issues, just didnt feel new and fresh. The breakfast was above average when it comes to hotel breakfasts. I thought the coffee was good.
One of my coworkers had bed bugs, the entire hotel had a really awful smell. The rooms were not in good shape. Patched drywall un painted. There were 4 differnt shades of paint on 1 wall in several locations... no garbage anywhere on the property were emptied and were overflowing everywhere.Flooring in bathroom was all broken, sharp ceramic tile. This is by far the worst IHG hotel Ive ever stayed at and even worse considering it is a Staybridge which are typically nicer. Will likely not stay at an IHG hotel for a while. And you wont let me leave a bad review
Awful place! Came in this evening to check in , it was a mess to begin with. Ruin our weekend before it started. I called ahead to reassure my familys rooms were together, the payment amount was correct....came in Im on different floors nowhere near my family , pricing was way off! Horrible experience! The guy at the front desk didnt know what he was doing, very long line waited forever to check in. Thanks for the horrible experience! And ruining our weekend
The hotel is excellent. Many Honda employees stay here because its by far the best. great rooms, service, and food. its quiet too. most hotels let children run up and down the halls or you hear your next door neighbor, not at this hotel. they have a 10pm quiet time posted. The beds are comfortable they provide shampoo and conditioner, blow dryer, and body wash. They have breakfast and dinner as well as happy hour.
Great stay, rooms were nice and pretty clean. Loved the suite with closing door for bedroom- worked great for our kids. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was great. Only problem was that the pool was VERY cold. It said heated but I don’t know if it was working properly- didn’t feel like it! Bummer for that but we still enjoyed our stay!
Me and my son love to travel and stay in hotels, we have traveled to many states and have stayed in alot of hotels rating 4 stars and above and this one was the best we have ever stayed in. The rooms were clean and spacious and had a home like feel and the staff was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quick get away or an extended stay.
Our room was Suite 207. This is on the west side of the building and receives a lot of sun especially in the latter part of the day. The air conditioning unit in this room is terrible! It is unbearably loud especially when the compressor kicks in. It kept my wife and I awake for most of the night.I highly recommend replacing or maintaining this unit. We normally stay at Holiday Inn express locations and deviated from that in this one instance. The quality difference between most HI express and this particular Staybridge is significant. We have been IHG members for years now.
The 2 bed/2 bath suite is the way to go! The rooms were clean and big. There were food crumbs on to of the refrigerator and water kept appearing on the kitchen floor after I used the sink. I did tell the front desk and they said they would look into it. NBD. The surround of the shower needs something to prevent water from pouring into the floor. There was a big puddle and the carpet was wet. The AC was loud, which woke up my guests. I slept fine. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will probably stay here again in the future.
I always choose to stay at Staybridge when possible because of the comfort, cleanliness, and amenities offered (especially when with family or longer visits). However, I did not get any of that during my stay in Dublin, OH. We came in from out of town to see a specialist and since I have always had such great experiences with this chain, I decided to go with them again. We arrived late and exhausted and when we got to our room it was filthy. Pop coming down the walls, the door frame was damaged, cobwebs in all corners, the floors were dirty so we complained and the manager promptly switched our room. After lugging all of our belongings down a few doors, we began to settle in for sleep. Within a few minutes, our toilet handle broke, our shower was gross and we were down to 1 bathroom for 4 people. In addition, things were outdated and heavily worn out. As stated, not AT ALL what I am used to when staying at Staybridge. We checked out the next day and found a new hotel.
The breakfast and social hour were not only convenient with great food choices for our family, but also a money saver! (And what parent doesn’t need a free beer/glass of wine after a full day at the zoo or water park!). The staff went out of their way on multiple occasions to make our stay comfortable and easy. The room configuration, with a separate bedroom, was a great set up when traveling with young kids who required an earlier bed time while still allowing the adults to have a later one without too much disruption. The kids had fun in the pool and we took advantage of the laundry facilities to dry suits and towels so we weren’t dealing with a bag full of our wet things. This is now my new expectation for hotel stays. I don’t know why you would do it any other way!!
All the staff starting from when we checked in to the hotel , the dining room staff and cleaning were all very pleasant ant accommodating. The room was nice and the shower had plenty of hot water. My husband and nephew both had trouble with the speed of the internet and being kicked off of it though I myself had no problem with it. The pool was nice though I wish they had slightly later hours for adult swim like they do at some of the other Staybridge hotels. We always try to stay here though when we come to Irish Fest because of the suites and location. Always have a great time when we stay here.
Positive: We werent impressed; everything seemed relatively unclean and the staff was disinterested. Negative: Specifically, the front desk person when we checked in seemed untruthful. He said I had reserved a queen bed with a pull-out and for $10 more, we could have a king. Ive never had that happen.
I enjoyed my stay at the Staybridge Suites very much! The accommodations were excellent, the room felt like a studio apartment and the staff made me feel right at home. When traveling away from home for extended periods of time, that is important! The breakfast provided each morning was a welcome start to the day, and Jamal and Andrew do a fantastic job taking care of all of the guests dining there daily. Spiro and all of the ladies at the front desk were friendly and attended to any questions or requests I had, and made me feel welcome and taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel! Five stars in my book!
Very nice hotel. Good bed. Very clean. The room I had had a full-size fridge coffee pot and stove as well as a separate bedroom away from the living area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The cookies in the lobby were delicious! It was in a great area and nearby just about anything you could want from restaurants to grocery stores and gas stations.
We thought the hotel was convenient and close to many attractions however I reserved my room months ago and feel like this was a swap room as we were placed 5 feet away from the hotel elevator. So until after midnight and before 6am, we were wakened by other guests getting on and off the elevator. The breakfast and staff were great, plenty of options, and hot however there was no room to eat as the place was packed and no eat in sitting in the suite. So plan accordingly during the peak season or do like we did and asked if we could join a table to finish our meal.
We stayed for 3 nights with 7 people. The suit was very roomy and there was enough space for all of us to rest and relax. Decently priced for size of room. Breakfast was great every morning. There was something for everyone. The room was clean the only thing dirty was the vent in the “master” bedroom. Just needs wiped down. Loved the full fridge and other amenities of the roomBeds were not comfortable at all. Definitely need to be upgraded. Couch and chair in living room area could used upgrades as well. Cushions are going flat. Other then that nice stay. Side note: there was a fire at the hotel the day of check out which look like it started in a storage room. Still not sure of cause. Management and staff never talked with us or apologized for the inconvenience of being out of our room for over an hour. Even though it was probably out of their hands something would’ve been nice.
Positive: The lay out of the room was like a small efficincy lots of room and you could close the door between the bed room and kitchen / living room , Im sure you could have slept 5 comfortably in this room Negative: It definatly needs an up grade on the maintance our room 227 the plaster on the walls and ceiling were patched sloppy many times the bathroom had 4 light bulbs but only 1 worked if you played with the switch bath fan broken had to lift room door to close
I am happy to say that I get to experience this hotel only once per quarter, but each visit brings a smile upon my face. The rooms are big, the bed is comfy and I sleep pretty good to be away from home. The staff are always so very kind and accommodating. But my highlight is getting my day started with the gentleman who oversees breakfast! He is wonderful, I am telling you he remembers faces, where you are from and is always so pleasant to speak with. His is the only face that I recognize when I arrive in time for a hot breakfast. Its good to have breakfast with a familiar face. The food is good as well! My compliments to the CHEF!
We were in town for a bowling tournament. This was a beautiful hotel and the staff and service were great. It was awesome having a full kitchen in the room. Made it so much easier to eat dinner and save some money being able to cook in the room. There was nothing bad about this place at all!
My family and I stayed at the Staybridge Suites on Christmas evening, and we had a wonderful experience! We have four young children, and we wanted to make a mini-vacation of our Christmas as we traveled from PA to IN. The staff were very friendly and were great with the kids. There were cupcakes and beverages in the lobby, and this was a great convenience after our 5-hour trip. I was able to get an incredible deal on our two-room suite. The kids had a room to themselves, and my wife and I had our own room. The suite was very spacious, and we felt right at home. We also went swimming on Christmas evening and the following morning. We loved it! I highly recommend staying here, and we will likely do it again!
This hotel looks really nice from the outside. We booked a double queen suite. The beds is more of a full size, but not a queen. The room amenities looks outdated, but they have a flat screen tv. The pull out couch were not made and the sheets has a blood stained on it. The shower has patches that were poorly patched up. We were expecting the room to have a clean feeling to it. Our first impression of this room was dirty. Overall experienced, we were disappointed on the interior of the room. The guest service were great!
I have stayed at the Staybridge Suites-Columbus-Dublin before because I especially like their large, comfortable suites with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms with a common living area. We had three adults and three small children, and we had plenty of room and privacy for the adults. I think the beds are very comfortable and it definitely has many amenities. We had planned to use the swimming pool, but the kids were too tired by the time we arrived back at the hotel. We received a courtesy call shortly after our arrival checking to see if the room met our expectations and if there was anything that we needed. We all had breakfast the following morning, and it was very delicious. The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast lounge area were terrific and very friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I will definitely choose this hotel again.
We have had several stays at Staybridge Suites in the Columbus /Dublin area. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The team members working there are always helpful, professional, and knowledgeable.Julie at the front desk was truly exceptional in helping me out when i booked the wrong date. She quickly resolved the problem and got me squared away.It is nice to know that you can count on great people like Julie when you stay at Comfort Suites.
The room was very dirty. The vents and surrounding wall was covered in dust along with the smoke detector. There was liquid of some sort splattered on the wall. The floors were dirty and the furniture had stains. The pool area was unkept and hallways were dirty. Very disappointed in the stay.
The front desk staff was great. Staybridge is one of the few places where a large family can stay in one suite. The price for our stay was very competitive. The pool was nice, the room was comfortable. Unfortunately there were some issues. The breakfast was iffy in terms of availability and freshness. The milk was so sour it had chunks. Housekeeping was poor. We never had trash removal during our four day stay. The property was showing some age.None of these things would prevent me from coming back. I would caution management to keep an eye on the housekeeping and kitchen operations to make sure they dont slip from 4 star to 3 star. I would also trust that IHG would have this property near the top of the list of ones needing an update.
Best hotel we have ever stayed in as a family. All of us were impressed with the 2 bedroom rooms. Staff was amazing as well as the breakfast and the chef with whom was also extremely friendly. The pool was also warm with towels provided. Absolutely no complaints from our family of 6!
I loved that we had two separate bedrooms and bathrooms for our stay. It is very clean. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for sleeping is because I prefer a king bed and firmer pillows. But the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. There was a staff member that made me feel like I was inconveniencing him when I asked questions. But he did get us what we needed. Overall, we will definitely choose this hotel again when going to the Columbus area.
If you are looking for a clean and well maintained place to stay, keep looking. This place is dirty and outdated. Walls and ceilings were patched by a 4 year old and never sanded or corrected. Little paint droplets all over cabinets and kitchen from a quick paint job. Bathroom was dirty and appliances were old and not clean. Need I go on?
This place would have 5 stars if the indoor pool didnt feel like an ice bath and was maintained better. They have it indoors with the air conditioners blowing which really makes the water cold. The bright side I guess it greatly reduces inflammation lol. Also the doors were rusty and the pool had a line of hard calcium and pool scum across the upper bricks above the water level. This stuff comes off with a gentle brush and its not being done. The rooms are very nice . Our couch was saggy cushions however but the bed was cozy. The social hour staff was friendly and house keeping. The front desk appeared friendly but didnt really explain alot. I would stay here again if we got a good deal. The breakfast is good as well.
This hotel truly deserves its five star rating. From the moment you enter and check in you feel welcome. The staff is very hospitable and cares to your needs. The management is very willing to work with you. The surrounding area and location of this hotel is very safe. Rooms are nice with lots of space, Social Hour is wonderful, good food and drinks. This has to be one of my favorite places to stay. I cannot wait to book my next room there.Thanks,J.B.
My wife and I, along with our 4 young children stayed Christmas night at the Staybridge Suites. This is our 2nd year doing this and we hope to continue this tradition. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The lobby was very nice, and the kids enjoyed the special treats. We were a bit disappointed to find some leftover food in our fridge. There also was not a toaster oven, but we made do with what was available. Our room within our suite wouldnt lock either, although the kids room could. These things were not too much of an issue for us. We will likely continue to come back. The breakfast was outstanding.
First staff was great. My reservation was wrong. I made my first one and it was for 2 bedroom suite well someone cancelled it. I made another for one bedroom with 2 queen beds and got 2 full beds. We cant fit on a full bed. The other bed was for our son. Our room was very clean. The pool was great. The other guest I am sorry but some were very rude. We are smokers respect those who dont. We go out away from those who dont. If you dont want around smokers dont sit by the ashtrays outside and call people names that do smoke.
The staff members were friendly and always smiling-seemed like they enjoy working there. The suite was beautifully decorated and had everything necessary for a comfortable extended stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of choices and food was kept hot or cold. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying there again!
This hotel was in a great location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it felt like we had rented an apartment. Our kids asked if we really had to leave. Perfect hotel for a family. Breakfast had a good variety and friendly staff. We didnt try the social hour but Im sure it probably had a nice variety as well. We may have a new favorite hotel when staying in the Columbus area.
My family of four stayed one night traveling to our home in Ontario. The room was spacious, and breakfast in the morning was very good. We did not have the opportunity to use other hotel amenities: pool, laundry, business center. We appreciated the opportunity for a pet friendly facility. The pet fee is a bit on the pricy side, but I understand that it applies for 1-6/7 nights. If Staybridge would reduce the pet fee for customers with shorter stays, I think they could attract more business. Still, this was a very good hotel with excellent customer service from their staff. I would recommend this hotel for families, especially those travelling with pets.
Stayed here for a tournament. Loved that the hotel was close to our venue, shopping and restaurants. Hotel was clean and it looked like they were in the process of either cleaning or replacing carpets. This process was not an issues for our stay at all. Room was not bad but some of the furniture could use some updating. Was a little surprised at how small the kitchen was but still worked for us. Would be nicer if weekday breakfast had option for regular scrambled eggs. Waffles were great! Did not use pool. Would have used the Jacuzzi if they had one. We would definitely stay here again.
I knew things would be different with the way things are today but going from a very nice hot breakfast( enjoyed talking to the same cook for several year) to a breakfast bag that the only hot thing in it was a bag of oatmeal. that needed to be made in the room. had to call the front desk a second time just to get a remote to the tv. always like the idea of when we come back to the room from being out for the day that trash bags would be emptied and new towels would be in the bathrooms but not this trip. with the cleaning supposed to be even more details with the virus why would there be old wrappers still on top of the refrigerator. we have always picked the Dublin locations because we were always happy with the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere.
The whole hotel is very comfortable. I feel at home here. The people who work here are great, especially Kay, the Assistant General Manager. The rooms are great! Beds are VERY comfortable and I love the idea of a suite.Breakfast is always excellent; as well as, the social hour.I love the proximity to the city too.
Absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed in! I travel 60 nights/year on average for the last 7 years. This hotel had the service and warmth of an extremely high end bed and breakfast. It was pleasantly peaceful, with an Asian style garden with a firepit and waterfall.Exceptional value for a two room suite, so comfortable with a common seating area, our babies could sleep while our older kids played games. Easy to have privacy or openness with the room setup. Stove, microwave, dishwasher and full size fridge made it easy to prepare meals and snacks.Pool was clean and well maintained, not over chlorinated.Breakfast was great, traditional breakfast, with European and Asian fare available as well (delicious rice). Snacks and drinks were provided at the socials, and cookies were available every night. Rosario was awesome, asking how we were doing and going out of her way to provide exceptional service.Thank you it was an amazingly comfortable stay!
Room was decently appointed (in a suite) but the cleaning was a bit lacking - and the room was stuffy (musty smelling) otherwise - it was fine. Expected a little nicer room - there was a big hole in the shower near the shower head - and the coffee pot had a moldy pod in it.. more attention to details would be nice for their staff
We stayed at this hotel during a weekend staycation. We like staying in suites that include kitchenettes. This was by far one of the best we have stayed in. The property is extremely clean. As a matter of fact, people were cleaning all the time - and this makes me feel good....I like cleanliness. The only thing I found (and I am really picky about cleanliness) was the return vents in the rooms were really dirtly and the tub was chipped with evidence of a cheap repair, otherwise - it was a VERY clean room. It is spacious and includes everything in the kitchen you would need (but not an oven, but we didnt need that anyway). The location of the hotel is near lots of restaurants and a huge mall. The breakfast was good and included hot and hold items. Their was ample place to sit and eat. The staff was a little loud in the kitchen, but it didnt seem to bother others. When we arrived to check in, it took about 5 minutes for someone to come to the desk...not sure what happened with that one. The staff was really friendly however. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great time!
This hotel is a fantastic choice for your stay in the Columbus area. The hotel staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and well cared for. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was great. The courtyard and fire pit out back add a classy touch. Wish we could have stayed more than two nights just to enjoy the hotel more!
We booked this hotel due to recommendation by insurance company. We had a fire in our home and needed immediate temporary housing. When we arrived the staff was very courteous and understanding and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Every member of the hotel staff went above and beyond our expectations. We were given a 1 bedroom suite that was more like a 1 bedroom apartment than a hotel room. Very clean and well supplied. Hotel amenities were well maintained and easily accessible. We stayed approx. 4 weeks but it did not seem as long as that due to the pleasantness of our stay. The breakfast provided was very substantial and of good quality. Much more than we expected. Would recommend this hotel to anyone for short or long term. We would like to again thank the staff for their quality treatment and service. This staff works very well together and is one of the hardest working I have seen in any hotel
We stayed here with 2 cats, 2 adults and 2 kids for 10 days and felt very comfortable. The staff here is wonderful and do everything they can to make you feel valued and comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size and they offer 2 to 3 different types of pillows on each bed. There is light housekeeping daily and/or a more vigorous cleaning once a week if staying longer than 7 days. There are some pots, pan, cooking utensils, silverware, plates and cups in the suites. Please note there is no oven, but a microwave. They offer breakfast in the morning every day (eggs or cheese omelet, make your own waffle, sausage or bacon, cereal, miso soup, oatmeal, yogurts and fruit) and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays they offer free beer and wine and a light dinner buffet and salad bar. Oh and did I mention they have warm cookies for you as well in the afternoon? The only downside is the elevator is very slow, so taking the stairs is the way to go, especially after eating the cookies. ;)The pool is nice, although indoors, so it gets a little warm in that area. There is a wonderful park about a 15 minute walk from the hotel that has a great playground, lots of grass, basketball and volleyball courts, bathroom, bunnies, birds and a nice walking path. We went there daily. The kids did not want to leave as they felt like royalty.
My fiancee and I stayed here for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The room had a comfortable layout and had the appearance of a very nice studio apartment. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, and the complimentary popcorn, name-brand coffee, and free internet were excellent features. Though we didnt have time to use the courtyard area with a firepit and a couple of grills, having the pool in a separate building was a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast buffet was tasty and the service was outstanding from the time we checked in to when we left in the morning.
Even with the changes due to the virus, we had a great experience. Front desk folks were super nice and helpful. The breakfast grab bag was 100% better than at first hotel on this trip. Looks like if every area of the hotel were open, it would be a great gathering place.
This location has gone downhill severely! The customer service here is appalling I used to come to this location two years ago,Whoevee ran it was much better but now the Staffing as well as the management is lacking in customer service skills.Because of the manner I was treated I booked with Marriott. MUCH BETTER SERVICE
We stayed in a 2 br unit to attend a family reunion. Beds comfortable and all staff very nice. This facility was quiet and clean. Hot breakfast good ( wish they had oatmeal).Overall good value. The pool was closed do the desk clerk adjusted our bill which we greatly appreciated.
We had a great stay! The front desk staff were fantastic no matter the time we stopped by. I also want to applaud the man who ran the breakfast service the two days we ate breakfast. I didn’t catch his name, but he was running it seemingly alone, and doing a fabulous job! Management should definitely recognize him for his hard work and dedication to the guests!!!!
The hotel lobby was comfortable and clean with a very cozy and homey feeling. As we were there for an event we were taken into a conference room that met all the needs for our group. Of particular importance was the temperature of the room. It was perfect! Not the usual arctic freeze you get in some sterile conference rooms. The beverages offered were also a nice selection and the coffee was good and fresh. Would definitely look forward to another event here.
We have stayed here before and usually try to stay at a Staybridge when vacationing for a long weekend. This one is close to our daughter who lives in Columbus. I did notice the rooms are looking a bit worn, but thats understandable wear over the years. Last years pandemic, Im sure, put the brakes on any repairs. I just noticed the bathroom baseboards peeling a bit, kitchen doors a bit askew, etc. Nothing huge and not dirty at all!
The bonefire experience was something my grandkids will never forget -- Staybridge has a bonefire pit so on a balmy September evening right outside the hotel. Amberlee, one of the managers, lit it and gave us snacks since we could not roast marshmallows- (rice krispy treats and chocolate bars) and we had some hot chocolate from the rooms supply. My 2 grand kids (ages 4 and 6) now talk about it constantly. I think it will remain with them for a long time as a special grandma-experience. The room was wonderful too and the entire hotel was super clean. And the indoor pool was awesome so dont forget your bathing suit! Also, the ability to wash and dry clothes for free was super helpful. With the help of Amberlee, asst general manager, Jamie, Milira, Dina, and Lupe -- we had wonderful guest relations experience as well. Dublin is a beautiful little city and staying at the Staybridge Suites made it all the better. We went to an OSU game and coming back to the hotel afterwards was a welcome relief - so relaxing and enjoyable. Id recommend this hotel to anyone, in fact, we always stay at Staybridge Suites whenever we have a choice. If you are in Columbus, this is the perfect place to land.
Fantastic, professional dedicated staff. Enjoyed size of room. Tub needs work. Double beds were comfortable but sofa bed was absolutely the worst. Kitchen extremely sparse. Breakfast items need a little more variety, like Greek yogurt. Very quiet stay. Again the entire staff were great.
This hotel gave me an absolute memories that I would love to remember. It has a great space in rooms for large families. Nice pool and fire pit. Breakfast never seem to have enough food however and coffee was was warm not hot. Bathrooms in rooms need updated and air conditioners had trouble keeping up with hot days.D
The hotel and staff can’t be beat. It’s in a great location and you can’t walk by a staff member without them asking you how your day is going and if there’s anything you need. The only thing this hotel needs is better maintenance. NO it’s not dirty. It’s very clean. No it’s not old and falling apart, it’s really nice. Our rooms countertops in the kitchen and bathroom were broken and someone just put some clear caulking on it. This may have been ok except that one half of the countertop was sticking up almost a half inch higher than the other side. Everything else about the room and hotel was exceptional.
Our stay at Staybridge Suites in Dublin, OH was absolutely wonderful. We were there on business so was a little concerned about being able to run our Louisiana office from their business center, but their very friendly accommodating staff put all our fears to rest. Our suite was extremely clean. It met our needs perfectly. The cook who made our hot breakfast every morning was so nice, not to mention an excellent cook. We cant wait to come back to this charming place. Only thing that could possibly make it better would be to have a covered entry way to unload and load and to have Netflix.
Upon entering the staff was very friendly. We loved our room as it was more spacious than other hotels weve stayed in. The bed was comfortable and we got a good nights rest all three nights we stayed. The breakfast was good however it was extremely busy and seating was limited. My daughter swam and the pool area was clean but the chlorine was a bit overwhelming. At night we hung out around the fire pit and enjoyed socializing with other families we had came with for our daughters softball tournament. Overall we would most definitely return to this Staybridge.
My husband and I had a blast staying here. It was very convenient to have the full size appliances since like to bring out our drinks and snacks when we stay in hotels. The DVD player was a nice feature since we all know sometimes theres just nothing on tv! As a member I was excited to see my name on the welcome board when we arrived. That made me feel like they actually care and appreciate me staying there! Overall I would absolutely stay there again!
We love Staybridge suites 2 bedroom/2 bath suites, which gives our family privacy and room to spread out during extended holiday stays. The 2 bathrooms work out awesome, and the 2 bedrooms help with certain family members snoring issues! I even used the fully stocked kitchen to cook part of Thanksgiving dinner! It’s just very comfortable and convenient! The breakfasts are good with full buffet including those awesome waffles! However, the downside is the heating system. There is only thermostat in the whole suite, and the little bedroom is roasting hot while the big bedroom is icy cold! There was at least 15-20 degres difference between the room with the only comfortable room being the living room/kitchen. In addition, the heater is very noisy and can wake up sound sleepers. If they can fix this issue, this hotel would be perfect!
This hotel is a great value. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are large. It was nice to have the kitchen to prepare our own meals. The only thing that was questionable was the breakfast as we had the same thing every morning. The sausages tasted bad and it was not restocked including the coffee. I am a big coffee drinker and to run out is devastating to me.
Loved this hotel. It had everything we needed. Big, comfortable two room suite complete with full kitchen, great pool, outdoor areas to visit, fire pit, gas grills, beautiful landscape and water feature. The indoor areas were big and comfy, large tvs with small ones around as well. Furniture, tables and chairs provded enough room for our entire group. Laundry facilities are complimentary and I did several loads. We were there for a baseball tournament so there were lots of kids and adults and we all enjoyed ourselves. There was only one area where I would like to make a suggestion. Breakfast was great. Plenty of hot and cold items to choose from and two belgian waffle makers. On our last day (a Monday) at precisely 9:30am the breakfast staff started taking food away while people were still in line trying to eat. I mean literally taking it away while they were standing there with their plates reaching for food. I fully understand the time deadline but would suggest that there be a 10-15 minute warning that the buffet is about to close to allow those who are still hungry to fill their plates.Other than that, our stay was perfect and we will return to this hotel once a year for our tournaments.
The room decor was enjoyable. The layout of the furniture used the room space very well and the placement works well. The desk, couch, table and dresser was nice. Great kitchen, appliances and supplies, everything you need. The closet was big with convenient shelves. I felt very comfortable, home away from home! The courtyard was very pretty, wish I could have stayed longer!
I absolutely loved staying here. I was on the Dublin area for three weeks on business and stayed here for 9 of those days. I really did not want to leave, but it was not my call. This place really did feel like a second home. The rooms are nice and big. Felt like a regular 1 bedroom apartment. The walls are nice and thick too. I never heard a sound all night. Free onsite laundry was an added bonus too. I highly recommend this location.
Our stay here was fine. I was disapointed in the bed and breakfast here. We reserved a queen bed, but didnt get one. When I asked, the manager said the bed met the minimum size to be called a queen. We have a queen bed at home and the one in the hotel room was at least 6 inches more narrow. The breakfast had minimal choices each day. The eggs smelled and tasted extremely like sulfur. We stopped getting breakfast at the hotel because of this.
Room was ok, liked the setup. Pulled sheets down on all beds and spots all over. Sheets seemed clean but spots everywhere. Called the front desk, they did bring us clean sheets, one set was stained, didn’t call again. They do not offer room service on the weekend but I did sign up for them to get us clean towels. We get back that evening, no towels, trashed not emptied, we didn’t have a place to put anymore trash. Called again 2 hours later they were there. Breakfast was awful. For what I paid, it was very disappointing. We go to Columbus many times a year but will never stay at this hotel again.
Day one...perfect. swimming fun, Kate checked us in and was wonderful. Room nice with minor flaws and rest was peaceful. Day two...lady and young gentleman (unsure of names) at the front desk were belittling in how they talked to people there especially to myself directly. Woke to signs up saying no water in building for the afternoon then after our ventures out for the day we came back to enjoy the pool all afternoon with the kids but were saddened to be told that it was closed because they decided to roof the pool room...told it was an emergency situation by two mentioned above and a last minute emergency but the contractors outside said that wasnt true. We asked before we RSVP the room because the indoor pool was the point for our family of six vacation. It was closed that whole day and staff lied to us about it which was very disappointing. My boys were sad too for no swimming. So. We did laundry. First two washers didnt work and held our clothes hostage. Doors would open. Three hours later we accomplished one load in a machine that worked after purchasing laundry soap from the hotel pantry three times...expensive stuff...just to be given excuses from the lying gentleman from earlier. Not cool.Day three...checkout time and that morning there were signs up again saying no elevator during checkout time. Mom of 5 men on the third floor with no elevator and one baby to carry....not cool. The problems during the stay seemed to grow. We cOuldnt wait to leave. Thats not how a vacation should go. Great stuff...housekeeping was polite and worked hard. Jamal in the kitchen downstairs was wonderful. Great asset. Kate at the front desk was a doll and very professional and helpful. Food there was wonderful too.
We stayed at the Dublin Staybridge Suites for a weekend just to enjoy being away from home, relax and use the pool. From check-in, the experience was wonderful. The IHG Rewards welcome board by the front desk was nice and check-in was quick and easy.Everything was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was very nice and the staff attending to breakfast were very friendly. One lady in particular was extremely nice and made a point to start conversation with us and also with our 4 year old daughter. The hot cinnamon roll was great!I cant recommend staying here enough!
Staybridge Suites was an excellent stay for me. I went on a trip with family and fiancee, and we got 3 rooms. We came in early due to light traffic and asked if we could get an early check in, not expecting them to say yes. Our room was at the highest quality. It really did feel like our own little apartment. The rooms were clean and comfortable.I love how the hotel was near restaurants and grocery stores, which we bought dinner and cooked it one night RIGHT IN OUR ROOM....how exciting and romantic for me and my fiancee. We even rented a movie and watched it after we cooked dinner. Another night we ordered pizza, and they deliver right to your room. The pool was nice, and it was fun to see they had an area to grill and sit around a fire. The only complaint is that the courtyard closed at 10pm, so my family and I could not take advantage of the firering. The breakfast buffet was ok. I just wish they had more hot food selection, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the free coffee, tea and soda any time of the day. Also the fruit baskets up front were nice, and the fruit were nicely ripe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I would for sure stay here when I come back to columbus.
Breakfast was probably the worst we’ve ever had at an IHG property. Rooms definitely need to be updated, but set up of rooms was nice. Quiet and reasonably priced. We checked in at 4 pm, but rooms weren’t ready until 4:45/5:00 (our friends room was later than ours). The front desk worker was very nice and offered us beverages while we waited.
We stayed here for 3 nights. We had a large suite: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area and a kitchen. This was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. The breakfast was incredible. My daughters loved the pool area. The staff was very welcoming. They provided us with a couple extra towels and another blanket. The room was quiet as was the hallways at night. The parking area seemed safe and secure. I would recommend this hotel any time. We will stay here again if we come to the area, Guarenteed.
The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly. Beds were always clean and made up crisp each day and you can control the room temperature great. I love Staybridge because of the ability to prepare my own food instead of having to eat in restaurants or bring precooked food with me. When I have to travel on business I always ask for Staybridge.
I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very appealing in many areas~larger rooms, comfortable beds, large refrigerators, and everything looked fresh and new. The main lobby was warm and inviting~loved the fireplace and the firepit outside. Breakfast food was tasty too. The service was good, and I would stay here again. I think the thing that stands out the most about this hotel is that your room is like a cozy apartment with all of the amenities, instead of a cold hotel room rectangle.
The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The pool was clean, with bathrooms in the pool room, clean towels and a beautiful garden outside the windows. The pillows in the room were awesome. Two soft ones and two firm ones...great thinking! Loved the big refrigerator. Allowed us to have somewhere to put my sons milk and snacks.
Recently stayed at the Staybridge Columbus/Dublin for a business trip. The staff were friendly and helpful on both check-in and check-out and the look and feel of the hotel itself were very nice although being behind the backs of a gas station and a fast food restaurant made the location not much to look at. The room was nicely appointed with couch and desk along with a full kitchen. The bed was a little firm but OK and the pillows were fine. The full breakfast had a very nice variety of offerings, although the eggs were a salt bomb and I could only eat them in small quantities. My negative comments go to the the maintenance and service staff. Missing base molding tile in the bathroom area needs to be replaced and the toilet paper holder and towel hook on the back of the bathroom door were falling off. Excessive caulk around the shower control speaks to an unresolved issue with the plumbing. The cleaning staff need to pay more attention to items left by previous guests in the refrigerator and in the laundry baskets.
The staff were very kind and helpful and greeted me every time entered the hotel over my 3 day stay. They even had free cookies in the lobby and a free dinner on Thursday night. Both the room and the hotel were very clean and quiet. Their TV package had plenty of channels and their WiFi was fast and easy to connect to. There were plenty of restaurants and stores in the area. Id definitely stay here again.

2022-04-05Place is dirty. Huge stains in the carpet in the corridors. Drywall falling off walls and ceilings. Rust in the tubs. Very out dated. They tried to paint touch up but used colors that didnt match. Furniture is old unclean and smelled. Had to call front desk cause they allowed a party at Midnight in the middle of the court yard with loud music(werent the only ones to complain). Pool is a joke. Will never stay here again. Staff was uncaring and hard to find.

2022-03-09Positive: The 2 bedroom suite was amazing. We had 3 kids with us and everyone had their own bed with the pull out couch. Negative: The only thing I didnt like was how chlorinated the pool is. The pool room burned your eyes it was so strong. My daughter had to get out because it was irritating her skin. They all swam and had a good time though. Overall a great stay and would return.

2022-04-04We totally enjoyed our stay at your facility. It was clean with awesome service. The only thing is that I dont eat breakfast, so it would be great if you served brunch. 😋 😃😄🤣😅 Thanks for the experience. Stay safe and healthy. God Bless.

2021-12-06Positive: Full refrigerator and suite type room. Overall very satisfied with brand at this location. Full kitchen is great. Front desk attendant very nice and helpful. Negative: No hot breakfast or half and half (only artificial). No ice machine. Here and there hotel could pay more attention to details ie peeling wall paper in hallways, spot cleaning here and there. Sofa and coffee table set up a little worn out. No happy hour.

2022-04-27We really gave this place a 3 out of 5 stars due to a few factors. The front desk was very nice and welcoming and even gave a paper with info about the hotel, breakfast and pool hours, etc which we really liked. This is more of a business/extended stay hotel so the pool and the fireplace outside close early at 10:00pm every night, but they dont mind you staying in that area as long as youre quiet since most of the rooms look in on that area. Breakfast was decent, not 5 michelin star quality, but not a 2 star motel style heres a muffin and cereal type oc breakfast. The building is a little out of date, so it didnt look as nice as the photos online when we booked. Further on that, it showed an oven in our room time and there was no oven when we got to our room. One of our rooms the curtain was torn and we even found someone elses childs boots and socks inside the pull out sofa. The elevator floor was always with debris and dirt and the rooms had dust on top of the refrigerators. Normally wouldnt care, but the refrigerators are very short and you can see it on there.

2022-02-24The staff here are absolutely amazing. We had a severe weather emergency, which left our team in a terrible bind for a few days. They accommodated my request quickly and thoroughly. Staybridge Dublin made an unfortunate event - easy. The staff was wonderful and my team loved the accommodations. THANK YOU, Staybridge Suites of Dublin!!

2022-04-27Absolutely horrid! Ive stay in a lot of hotels and by far this was the worst! When I say, Ive seen Travelodge and Americas Best Value Inns that were better, please believe me! We had what looked to be shavings of dead skin on our floor, the ceiling was falling apart and the AC unit had some sort of stains all over it! I mean our bed looked like someone had stepped on it and the place was so outdated. Oh, did I mention that we had dirty dishes in the dishwasher and the cutting board that they have for you in the room had some type of chemical sprayed on it and was absolutely filthy. This was a complete let down when it comes to relaxation for the weekend.

2022-05-17Traveled with family for the zoo and COSI. Family was wife, 2yo and 5yo. I have mixed feelings on this review. Location was great. Exterior was great. Courtyard was nice and well maintained. Breakfast was good. Staff was very pleasant. What was lacking is where we were 90% of the time we were in the hotel. The room. Stains, paint chips/flakes. The AC unit was making noises. The shower area was subpar. Queen bed was not very comfortable. The pull out couch couldn’t even be considered a place to sleep. The couch and mattress were no better then something from the street that was picked up. Every bar was felt through that mattress. I know money can’t be dumped in always. But with this location and proximity to everything, Columbus Zoo, COSI, Muirfield Golf course, etc. It wouldn’t hurt to upgrade some stuff. Just even some TLC. The carpets were so stained, everywhere. If I was an employee there, I couldn’t even feel good about the hotel due to its neglect. No matter how hard the maintenance team works to clean there’ll always be stains and damage they can’t clean or fix.

2022-04-05Positive: Good breakfast, friendly staff, fridge, dishwasher and microwave in room. Indoor pool. Rollout in Queen suite to sleep on. Negative: I expected the room to be more of a suite style, but it was smaller than I expected. The pictures made it seem like the bedroom would be separate from the living room but it was all one room.
