It was kind of a spur of the moment trip and a few days before we arrived I called the front desk to enquire about the construction that was mentioned on the web site. The gentleman at the front desk was awesome and answered all of our questions. The room was was very clean and quiet, the breakfast bar was great and the evening social was an added bonus. We would definitely stay again.
This hotel is located in a quiet area with many wonderful places to visit nearby and with restaurants within walking distance. There is easy access on and off the freeway. The rooms have all the necessary amenities and the beds are very comfortable. If staying for any length of time, the kitchen comes in handy. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that short people may have a little difficulty getting into the bed without a step stool; it would be ideal for a tall person.
Eddie loved every minute of his stay and so did we! Lots of things to explore and sniff, and a great exercise area! The room was a home away from home and breakfast was excellent! More hotels should be dog friendly! I was told renovations were underway which will make it, even more, our go to hotel over the next few years!
Upon arrival, I found the room to be very clean. The amenities made it feel like home. I especially liked the refrigerator and the ability to make ice- even ice cube trays were provided! The free hot breakfast had many options; no reason for anyone to go hungry. Overall good value.
We stayed in a suite with two rooms, three beds, and two bathrooms. Everything was clean and ready for our week in Stow. The room initially only had one large bath towel (strange for it having three beds) but we were given more when we asked. The breakfast was great with convenient hours. The pool was relaxing and open until 11pm most nights! There are local restaurants and a gas station on the same street. 10/10 will be returning to this location when I visit Ohio again!
Our bed was fabulous, plush and helped with an excellent night sleep. The room was over the top sanitized on our arrival. The kitchen and living areas were spacious which lended to privacy to the sleeping area. The common areas in this hotel were clean, homey and well maintained. We were even able to use the outdoor grilling areas and indoor pool. Definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and spacious and had the perfect layout, the bed was comfortable, there is ample/free parking, and the free hot breakfast was appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel, and I looking forward to staying again the next time we are in the area.
Great location for visiting Cuyahoga Falls National Park and very comfortable bed. Now the bad. We had a 2 bdrm/2 bath. The fabric on the kitchen chairs was badly stained and dirty. The carpet was dingy, there was a 12 inch mold/mildew stain on the ceiling in one bathroom and spider webs in the other. I have never experienced this at any other IHG property and can not recommend this hotel until renovations are done. This was embarrassing to me since I had made the reservation for another couple to share our room.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dog snacks were nice. The room was clean and had a lot of the conveniences of home. The only thing I didn’t care for was the two little tables in the “living space” that I kept running into. There was a nice walking trail that I could take my dog on. The free laundry was nice also.
Akron was about halfway to Chicago from NJ. We met family there and stayed a night going to Chicago and then returning from Chicago a few days later. Very pleasant place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Pretty outdoor courtyard and common area. It was great to see that the pool was available and a hardy breakfast was served. I will look to stay at other Staybridge hotels in the future.
Front end staff was excellent. Check in was a blessing after a long day. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Even after clarification by phone regarding the space, I was disappointed there was no division in the room to offer privacy as we brought our grandson. We did not complain at the hotel as I had utilized the IHG number to make the reservation. We will return again and again. Even driving an extra hour to stay at this location. Sad I did not have the wherewithal to get the persons name who checked us in. She deserves high praises!!
Megan and staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food concierge was awesome and had a great personality with adults and children. The best place to stay and I have reserved this Staybridge for family coming in from out of the country for several years. Never have been disappointed!!!
We had a wonderful stay at the Staybridge Suites in Stow, OH. We were visiting for a short trip to Cuyahoga Falls National Park and we were mostly interested in a place with a kitchenette and a pool for our six year old. Staybridge delivered on both! The bed was comfortable, the hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. My only issue was that I wish they had a better breakfast - I have stayed in other hotels since Covid happened that were back to waffle machines and a better breakfast that a Jimmy Dean sandwich heated up.
One entire section of the hotel was under construction when i arrived, and after i requested a high floor they gave me a ground floor room and i was kinda annoyed but it was for one night so i just went to bed an left in the morning, my thing is they should ave notify guess of what was going on, on the facility.
Our family needed a restful vacation and we found Staybridge Suites a great place for this. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel supplies a great breakfast! They were able to offer their pool in a safe way by allowing only one guest group at a time there. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a weekend (as we did) or a longer stay.
Stayed two nights here with our beagles. I dont know if they did it on purpose, because of our dogs, but our room was convenient to a side door so we could take them in and out without long hallways. Loved having the kitchenette, though we didnt need the oven, getting take out each night.
The room was big enough for our family. The bathtub had mold in it so we did not use it. We called prior to booking to get information on pool hours and we were told nothing has changed due to covid only to find out when we got there they were changed and we had to book an hour in the morning. We checked in at 4:00 and could not even swim that night. The only reason we wanted to stay there was because we were told the hours were not changed or any restrictions with the pool. Breakfast was supposed to be continental but was not. There was No information regarding these changes on their website. And even though we called prior to booking we were not told any of this until we got there.
The GM, Megan, the front desk manager Zach and the entire staff provided exceptional customer service. They were helpful, friendly and kind. The property is convenient to restaurants, shopping, fast food, and the highway. We stayed 10 nights while waiting for our new residence to close. We would highly recommend this hotel to all.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone, staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean room, and common areas. The staff takes care of the guest and handles everything with a smile and very efficiently Enjoyed this stay more than I have any in the last few years. I will be using them again.
We had to stay while buying house. Plans changed multiple times and Zack was always gracious and helpful and bending over backwards to help. Wish I knew the names of some of the other staff to call them out, but they were all great and provided great customer service. Breakfast lady amazing
All of the areas were extremely clean which is so important right now, the hand sanitizer stations in multiple areas were a plus! So bummed about the lack of breakfast offerings and the social evening reception that is not able to be done right now. Staff was very friendly.
I was hoping Id get a chance to review my stay. Thank you so very much to the wonderful lady at the front desk during both my check-in and check-out and whomever assigned my room.... I am a local resident who just needed a night away, and the hotel accomodated both my requests for an early check-in and for the top floor...and I was wonderfully assigned an end room and it was wonderful... the hotel was quiet (possibly due to Covid but still...), the associate who checked me in was sooo pleasant and answered all my questions. The hotel as a policy in place while the pandemic is still rampant that each guest room may use the pool for one hour at a time. I have to tell you...this aspect was WONDERFUL...I had a bit of time to myself to relax in the pool with no one else around. My room was so wonderful... everything I needed in my studio suite. The price was appropriate and the grab-and-go breakfast was perfect..thank you for putting the safety measures in place. I will be bringing my son and husband back soon.. please thank the front desk associate (I arrived at 1pm Saturday Nov 7 and checked out around 11am Sunday Nov 8) for me. Id also like to mention how clean my room was and to thank the housekeeping staff (the card said Oxsana had cleaned my room) as I know what detailed cleaning they have to go through with Covid. I wanted to leave her a more substantial tip on my credit card at check-out but that option isnt possible at the hotel. Thank you again for everything...Ill be back! :) Chris
Initial check-in was seamless but once checked in room key card reader stop working when we returned from dinner. Initially unable to get the door open we sat in the lobby for a couple of hours until the door was opened. Once opened we were moved to a new room and in the new room, the shower would not drain. Was promised to be reimbursed key card issues still have not received anything. Extremely disappointed on the follow-up.
My daughter, grandaughter and i took a roadtrip to this hotel to visit a friend in the area. We stayed for 6 nioghts. I was under the impression that we would have a king bed in the bedroom and a comfortable queen pullout in living room. The pullout was twin size or maybe a very small full size ...not sure. The mattress was very old with deep indents and very uncomfortable..i asked if it could be replaced but instead got an xtra mattress cover to put on top. Also I had to ask for a blanket since there wasnt one in the room. The carpet had multiple stains and the tv in living room didnt work.the tv was replaced or fixed by yhe next day which was great..overall, it was a bit of a didsapointment.
Ok for what we paid. We were six and got a two bedroom suite. It was clean. They had a crib for the baby. Checking in was a bit of a hassle, I had paid in advance and there was no record of it, though there was not much of a line. I had to discard my cheerios at breakfast because they had mislabeled the whole milk and the half/half, but there was enough food. The person in charge of the kitchen was unmasked, as were most of the guests, and staff we saw.
Stayed for business and more than two weeks - this property is pretty well maintained, close to restaurants (walking distance even) and even in the short staffed situations the desk/customer service and breakfast were very good. Room is well equipped and the free laundry was helpful as well.I plan to stay again next month when i return
I consider myself a bit of a snob when it comes to hotels so I didnt have high expectations because it was reasonably priced, which often means you get what you pay for. But I needed something more long term while I look for an apartment so I had to make it work. Much to my surprise, I found Staybridge Suites to be extremely clean, awesome staff, and my room was perfect! I even tried to move to a less expensive, long term place, but came right back. It was worth the extra money to feel safe and not be overcome with the smell of cigarettes.
Nice hotel room. Room was clean. Was with a wedding party was supposed to be by the girls room to help them get ready. When we checked in the women was very nice and I thought I was by the wedding party. Once we were at the rehearsal, we found out that we were on a different floor. The bride told me to call and get my room switched. I called they said they would call me back. No one called so when we got back I went to the front desk. The women was extremely rude to me She claimed she called and left me a message. I explained I never received a call. She was extremely rude basically called me a liar. I was like it is fine I was told this was prearranged and to have them switch this. The next morning the bride was extremely upset that they didn’t change our room. It was fine but the staff should try to have better customer service.
Great staff, couldnt be kinder and more accommodating. The breakfast was not great, I understand that the pandemic has taken away some options but the selection of cereal, fruit, pastry, juice and coffee was only ok at best. Also, this property traditionally offers happy hour drinks and snacks and there was no option offered at all. A takeaway bottle of beer and a packet of chips or something wouldve been nice.
Thanks so much for make our first hotel experience since the beginning of Covid so pleasant.Your staff went out of their way to meet all of our needs and always with a smile. We will be return when we visit family in the area again. We have told them that we highly recommend the Staybridge in Stow and to let their friends know about it.
I chose this hotel based on the fact that it had many, many high scoring reviews and now I see why. Check in was fast and easy. When I got to my room I sanitized all surfaces (light switches, handles, tabletops, etc) but it was very clear to me that someone had been over each surface right before my stay. If I have ever stayed in a cleaner room, I cant remember having done so; and Ive been highest tier in 2 different hotel loyalty programs in my life. The hotel is in a great location for business travelers. Lots of food options nearby, easy ride to gas station and highways, quiet, safe, clean, private, comfortable. I almost never leave hotel reviews and this one compelled me.
Wonderful staff and check in process. Very comfortable bed, pillows and comforter. Windows open a bit for fresh air. Nice setting away from streets and highway with trees on two sides. Unfortunately the carpet had stains everywhere from pets. The manager did assure me it had been deep cleaned and planned renovations were delayed due to the pandemic. The shower drain was partially clogged causing the tub to fill up with 4 of water during shower. The wifi was basically useless. The kitchen floor was dirty (like maybe it had been cleaned, but the mop and water were dirty.) The kitchen has a microwave, but no oven and no orange juicer or grater. No designated outdoor smoking area so smokers were near exit/entry doors. The front desk staff was the nicest Ive ever experienced. I hope the problems get fixed so they have a hotel as wonderful as they are!
AMAZING STAY!! I stayed here with my boyfriend & two dogs. Upon checking in the front desk agent was extremely welcoming and explained how breakfast would be available 6:30-9:30 with grab bags available. The grab bags contained oatmeal, cheerios, milk, juice, muffins and coffee was available. The pool was also open but reserved to hourly slots which I honestly liked more because it would just be your family or room in the pool house! They did have carts and elevators to get your belongings to your room easily. The room was beautiful! It contained a complete kitchen. Microwave/fridge/freezer/stove/dishwasher and all utensils. It also had a desk, couch, tables, television, bed and full bathroom. The bed and couch were EXTREMELY comfortable and everything was SPARKLING! The pet fee was also only $50 total for both dogs and for the entire stay! Most places are much more expensive especially if they are this nice. I would 100% stay here again!
Without hesitation I highly recommend this hotel. Our room was spotless, spacious, comfortable and quiet. It exceeded my expectations, and was a great value. We were in a two bedroom suite to accommodate us for graduation weekend at a school in Hudson. The location was perfect—easy to get back and forth. Hotel staff are super nice. Shampoo and conditioner are good quality and kept in large pump dispenser bottles in the shower, no fumbling with those travel size bottles. Kitchen appeared well equipped. Beds were super comfortable.
StayBridge is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are huge with a kitchen, a livingroom with a pullout couch and TV. The bedroom has a nice bathroom, another TV and closet space. Theres a nice walk path with a few patios out back with nice grills and an indoor pool. We had to make reservations for the pool but that was perfect. Ill definitely come back to stay again.
We had never stayed at a Staybridge hotel until now and it was a wonderful experience. From arrival to departure this stay was excellent! The front desk representative was very helpful in familiarizing us with the area as we had never traveled to this location before. He actually went over and above in my opinion. Our room was very clean and gave us no concerns amid the Covid 19 era.Maid service was wonderful! They did not enter our room but gave us supplies as needed.Breakfast was handled very professionally as everything was available to put into a lunch bag.All staff wore masks and practiced safe distancing.Would definitely visit this hotel again!Way to go Staybridge!!!
One of the worst hotels Ive ever stayed at! Will highly recommend to people I hate! Third world plumbing and lazy staff that getting any service is next to impossible, no house keeping, TV didnt work and toilet backs up after urinating. Front desk is completely useless when you call for someone to mop up overflowing toilet. Sleep in your car instead
Stay bridge staff was amazing. I had to change my arrival dates multiple times. The staff was always super friendly and made it seem like I wasnt being a pain at all. They are friendly and polite and extremely professional. The hotel was clean and the room was fantastic.
Very comfortable beds! Love having 2 restrooms, and a little living space. Had trouble with door unlocking. Went back to desk 5 times, in 2 days to get fixed. The maintenance guy finally had to reset the lock. Otherwise, very nice... could be a little cleaner, but that,s probable due to being older, i,m thinking. Weve stayed in one of these before, and it was extremely clean, but may have been a newer one.
Best Hotel EVER!Review of Staybridge Suites Akron-Stow-Cuyahoga FallsWe have been traveling for dog shows for nearly 20 years. This hotel is by far the best hotel we have had the pleasure to occupy. Everything from the front desk personnel (thank you, Laura!) to the full breakfast with an array of possibilities was more than we expected. We booked a 2-room suite at a very reasonable rate and found it to have a full kitchen with silverware/dishes/pots/etc with an island and a dishwasher, sitting area with a very comfortable couch, two desks, and moveable coffee tables in the first room. The bedroom/bathroom were wonderful and very roomy. The kingsize bed, bedding, pillows, towels, and closet were great, as well. Even the water pressure was fabulous with no fluctuating temperature during a shower (almost a novelty, right?!). After our departure, I noticed an error on our billing (the reasonable pet fee was charged twice). I called the front desk and spoke with Laura, who had checked us in when we arrived. She remembered me, told me she would contact the manager, and he would call me the next day. He did, and the extra charge was removed with many apologies. If we are ever in the area again, we will be sure to stay here!MoreDate of stay: March 2020
Highly recommend This hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean. We could stay several nights here and still feel at home. The beds are very comfortable! Comfortable beds are key to any hotel experience, in my opinion. The cleanliness made me comfortable, despite going during COVID-19.
I was more than welcomed at check in. The staff knew all of my preferences and was able to accommodate them including an early check in. I was there for a business meeting . The meeting room was comfortable and spacious. The staff was able to accommodate us with extension cords that we needed to power or laptops. The sleeping rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable and I always love a separate shower and sink. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very good. I loved that they had real plates and silverware to eat from. I will definitely use this hotel and brand again.
Great place to stay. Second time staying at this location. Love that it’s dog friendly! Clean rooms and public areas. Pre-COVID-19 enjoyed the breakfast and dinner happy hour. During COVID-19 I know it’s hard to have pre-packaged options. Great place to stay, we will look for other locations on our future travels.
Zach and his team at the front desk were all extremely pleasant and helpful. They were gracious with the multitude of little kids in our group of families :) The pool was out of order, and I had asked at time of booking if they anticipated maintenance on it. They did not at the time, but things happen. We were able to go to another hotel to swim, which was a fair resolution. We had a great time. Thank you!
Really enjoyed my stay. The staff is very gracious and accommodating. The rooms are big, bright, and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. While the bed and bedding were very comfortable, it didnt have one of those big, fluffy comforters that I am personally quite fond of, which is the only reason I didnt rate sleep quality as excellent. Enjoyed being able to walk to a very nice nearby restaurant for dinner. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.
We had an excellent experience at Staybridge! The hotel is tucked back away from the road but there are many restaurants within less than a mile. We were able to walk to a few places even. The hotel is large and clean. I love the little mini store they have right inside with snacks a small toiletries. They also have a great little gym there...one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel actually. Laundry is also free to guests which is appreciated on the road. They also have an indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast selection was large and they had a lot of options besides the standard bagels and cereal. Really they have all of the features you could want in a hotel! Our room was basically a studio apartment...it had a kitchenette and a small living room area. It allowed us to spread out and feel more comfortable to relax. They also accommodated us with our dog and put us in a special room. Make sure to tell them ahead of time so you can be put in a room near to the pet area outside. This has been our favorite hotel stay in a long time and we will definitely be coming back to this Staybridge again!
We came to visit Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The hotel was in the perfect location for easy access to the park. It had lots of restaurant options nearby and in downtown Cuyahoga Falls. The staff was very friendly and when we checked in we had been given a free room upgrade. The property was very clean and felt safe. I would definitely book a room here, again.
This was our first time with Staybridge. What a great experience. We had reservations and literally within 5 minutes were in our room. The room was very clean as is the place as a whole. What made the experience even more was the superb customer service. We dealt with 5 people during our stay and they ALL were so very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the only name we remember was Mary but ALL were great. It is not easy providing good customer service when dealing with people but these folks?.... They either love their jobs, are just normally friendly or both. Either way, kudos to management for building such a fantastic team. A big thanks from Miami.
Checked in late due to travel, the room was great. I loved the kitchenette. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on, same with pillows. Only disappointment was that I was a little creeped out that the travel sized toiletries (lotion, soap) on the bathroom sink were used.
Excellent hotel, very clean, very nice rooms. You feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. I wish the mattress would have been a little more comfortable. It was wonderful to have a microwave, fridge, dishes and full size coffee maker in the room. The swimming pool was warm, very clean and there were fluffy towels ready for us. We can’t wait to come and stay again.
I guess I got the bottom of the barrel room. Every 3 inches on the TV white vertical lines, all channels. Shower diverted only allowed about 1/2 of the water come out of the shower head, so barely enough to shower. Using the valve it was loose in the wall and the shower head moved with it. Nightstands looked like they were purchased at a flea market. I have never been this disappointed at any other Staybridge property.
We stay here every time we visit and always have a pleasant experience. Front desk and kitchen staff are great! Good pet friendly hotels are hard to find but this one is the best weve ever stayed at. The rooms and suites weve had were all clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always great with that crispy bacon! Grounds are nice but (pet owners could be a bit more responsible and clean up after their dogs seeing how they have pet bags and a can to get rid of it)
The two bedroom suite is perfect for a family of five. Our room seemed a bit broken in, as the floor squeaked quite a bit and the carpet was well worn, but it was clean and nice. The pool was open 24 hours which was great. Unfortunately we had a major issue with the room door not locking at all...you could literally push it open and not even need a key. The cleaning lady opened the door about 8:30 am and because we had it latched she couldn’t open the door all the way and enter and that was VERY disturbing. We notified the Manager and he said he would “take care of it”, but then left. We had to have our son watch the door so we could go get breakfast for the family and bring it back upstairs because we didn’t want to leave our belongings in an open room (no locking door). When we checked out I went to the front desk and was essentially asked what they could do to make the customer service experience better. I asked what was customary to this type of situation, but he didn’t seem to have an answer and asked me again. So, I just said to comp the room which they did. I understand that you want to make the customer happy by just asking them what they want, but when the manager said he would take care of it I thought he was actually going to do something. Instead he left the hotel for a meeting (per the front desk) and then left the responsibility on me to ask the front desk to get it taken care of.
My family and I stayed for a little over 3 months while our new home was being completed. The kids loved the pool and theater room. The breakfast each morning was always hot and ready. Our 2 bedroom room and hotel was always being cleaned by the staff. Easy and convenient laundry was a added bonus and it was FREE! The staff was always ready to help and very friendly. They were great with my children. Always being polite and talkative . LOVED OUR TIME THERE! We would highly recommend Staybridge Suites.
Zach at front desk was super helpful and professional. Cant thank him enough for making our stay go so well.Weve stayed here a few times for shows at Blossom Music Center. We had group of people with multiple rooms. The nice Courtyard is a great place to gather before and after a show. The gas grills are great.Breakfast was good. Love the fresh waffles and the flip iron waffle maker. Well be back!
This was my first time staying at Staybridge and it greatly exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed with the mini kitchen in my room and all of the utensils and silverware available. I was surprised to see a DVD player in my room, that was a great addition. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom and the supplies were nice. The dining area in the common room for breakfast and the social is very small. It made it a bit awkward to come and get some food, but it wasnt terrible. I really like that they have a fountain pop machine available. The food was pretty good and the coffee was better than some other hotels I stay at.I used the business center one night and I was very impressed with that. It is a private space (some hotels have theres right out in the open) and it was clean and orderly. I thought it was nice they had some DVDs in there that guests could check out. The computer and internet were fast and I was able to complete my work quickly.I would recommend this hotel to traveling professionals.
The choice for the stay was from a good friend who lives in the area. I was amazed at the grounds and the front reception area. You walk in and see a beautiful fire place if front of you. Registering was easy, Staff were great. I was amazed at the room, great design/layout, the furniture was real good, the kitchen was great as to the bed room and the bath areas. Comfortable, you can take it easy and relax. Indoor pool really nice. Hope to come back here soon when visiting my friend and stay a few days (Mini vacation)
I recommend the Staybridge Suites in Stow, Ohio after staying there a few weeks. The one bedroom has everything you need and fabulous beds with soft sheets and wonderful pillows! The rooms we stayed in were very quiet and the staff is so helpful. Breakfast is great and dinner 3 nights is very nice. There are restaurants you can walk to and a paved trail around the office park. The hotel is dog friendly and the free laundry use is a big bonus. It is so close to Highway 8 as well as downtown Hudson. You will enjoy staying here!
Weve been staying here about 3-4 years in a row now and loved the bike friendly atmosphere. But this time no fill breakfast with COVID we expected but we hoped for atleast cereal yogurt and Coffee bar open and more fruit than just an apple and instead got granola bars and juice. Also the staff were not available at the desk quite often. And there was no whirlpool which we really look forward to after a long bike ride on the trails which is why we come to Stow. Gonna compare other hotels nearby next time.
I was in town staying on points for a martial arts seminar. I was beyond impressed with the professional/friendly staff and how welcome my group and I felt. Our seminar started at noon so we were concerned that we would have to keep our items in our car all day until later in the evening. Fortunately, Taylor at the front desk was kind enough to not only give us an early check in, but also upgrade one of our rooms. She was very accommodating and willing to answer any questions we had. Working in the hospitality, I typically have high expectations from hotels. Taylor nailed it! The rooms and the property itself were lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable and we really appreciated that after a long day. The free breakfast in the morning was great as well. Next time I am in the area, I will be returning to this property! If you want a clean and comfortable stay with great staff, I recommend this property!!
My son and I moved from Ohio to Indiana this year and thanks to the fantastic staff at Staybridge we were able to host a Christmas party for our family and friends. By joining the rewards program we were treated to a two bedroom suite! The front desk person kindly let me use the oven to make our meal. We all enjoyed the hot tub and pool which was clean and a lot of fun. The room and staff couldnt have been nicer. It was all so home like, I even brought Christmas decorations! Thank you so much!I highly reccoment this hotel ! Our family and to make this a holiday tradition.
We hosted many guests at this hotel for our daughters wedding. The service was first class. A special shout out to Taylor who provided prompt assistance throughout the entire planning process and our weekend stay. Many of our wedding guests commented on how much they enjoyed their stay. It was a great decision to host our wedding guests at this hotel. Thanks again to the staff for helping make our daughters wedding a great success. The accommodations are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff will do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
I was apprehensive when I found out this was a pet - friendly hotel because Im allergic to dogs. The room did not smell of any previous pets and any pets on the property were never a problem. The room was very spacious and neat. There was a large tv and plenty of space for sitting to watch. Bed was comfy and the bathroom had a great layout. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Excellent overall, liked the setup of the room and the available features (frig, stove, coffee). Staff was great. Roomy. 2 items detract from overall experience. First, who designed the layout so that the Heater/AC was right next to the bed? Heard the on and off all night. Second, why do mattresses have to be so uncomfortable for sleeping? Invest in a better quality, more comfortable mattress as that is a major item when staying anywhere. The short stay/long stay policy for housekeeping is a great idea. Except that we did not get the minimum on our two night stay.
We chose Staybridge Suites for our wedding party and guests because I had had excellent service from them in the past. However, with a big basketball tournament in town, they were the ONLY hotel who wanted our business. We were able to get a block of rooms, great service from the management, and they even allowed us to use their meeting room for our rehearsal dinner. The guests enjoyed the large rooms, the hot breakfasts, and the rehearsal dinner. Every morning we could congregate over hot waffles and eggs, and check in with the days events. The bride was able to fit 7 people and 2 photographers in her living room as people got ready for the big day. A big thank you for creating a home away from home for our wedding party!
Really nice place. Felt very upscale. Room was very clean, comfortable and even smelled good - not like cleaning solution, but fresh. Staff was great, front desk guy, Mike, talked us in from the highway, and followed up once we were in the room. Then checked in with us after we got back from dinner to make sure our TV was working right.Breakfast was awesome - and the checkout time being noon was even better.
Excellent property. Spotless and looks new. The rooms and suites are nice. They had a flood and were renovating kitchen area off lobby. Said it would be a few weeks before finished. Breakfast was served in a meeting room. Pool and hot tub were real nice and super clean. Staff was superb. One of the best properties I have stayed in.
What a WONDERFUL hotel! VERY nice lobby, very nice, friendly desk clerks.I cannot more highly recommend this place! My Husband asked if there were any Firefighter discounts & the desk clerk upgraded our room to a very nice, quiet kitchenette suite in the corner of the building. The suite was immaculate, nicely decorated, & very comfortable. We both enjoyed our stay, & will be sure to make it a point to come back again to stay overnight next time, since we come through here as we make this trip at least once a year. After finding this place I will never stay anywhere else during our trip up North.
Exceptionally clean and pet friendly hotel. Room was spacious with fully stocked kitchen including a dishwasher. Located minutes from Cuyhoga National Park and about 30 min south of downtown Cleveland. I would definitely recommend this hotel for persons traveling on business for extended periods of time because of the home like feel the room and hotel tries to provide. Breakfast was delicious and included hot and cold items to make anyone happy. Staff is friendly and helpful when checking in and out.
We always stay at this location when doing business in Akron and it is great every time. The rooms are clean and it is nice to have the option of using the kitchen suite, as traveling for business can get expensive. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The staff is very attentive and always remembers us when we check in. They have a decent variety at breakfast and the staff is quick to refill all the food. The dinner offered on weeknights is great as well.My only issue is wishing the light above the mirror in the bathroom was a little brighter to assist in doing makeup in the morning. Other that that, this facility is great.
Enjoyed the location immensely! We were in town to see a show at the Akron Civic and this hotel gave us a great location to explore arts, national parks, good food and historic main streets. What a fabulous vacation destination! Breakfast was hot and fresh with plenty of options. Really enjoyed coffee in the courtyard area. I loved that there was a little walking path right near the hotel to start my day. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We had everything we needed to help us feel at home. The pool/hot tub was so welcome after a day hiking at Cuyahoga Falls.
I was in Ohio visiting family and most of the time I stay at this hotel. Its convenient because Im there to visit families in both Cleveland and Akron. Its like having my own apartment, has everything you need. Next exit down is lots of stores, restaurants and of course Walmart.Staff is always Super!
Two really nice features. A firm easy chair in the living area so you do not have to sit on a saggy sofa bed to watch TV. Long bar in kitchen area, as well as a desk that can be used to keep your bags up off the floor. These are good hotel design in my opinion.Wish they would extend their hospitality hour to include weekends.
I usually like Staybridge properties but this one was sub par. Unbelievable that a hotel today wouldnt have available outlets on the nightstand. As i was there for 4 nights I had to go to a hardware store and buy an extension cord. Refrigerator noisy, I had to turn up the temp so it wouldnt run, I did turn it back down before I left. Probably didnt help that it rocked and needed leveling.TV at times showed static spots all over the screen, not all the time but enough to be irritation.Toilet ran, had to jingle the handle to get it to stop.Worst of all was the internet. I needed at least acceptable speed for my laptop, only 5mpbs, seriously. I went to the front desk to complain about it and was given a tech support number that I had to call. After 30 minutes with the guy on the phone he finally gave me 15mbps to the IP address of my laptop only. Come on Staybridge, your WIFI should be much, much faster. I wont be back.
I stayed here a earlier in the year and I have to say this place was just as good as the last time. First off, the lobby/breakfast area is super nice. Very welcoming and flows nicely. I love places that have a courtyard where you can sit and socialize. They have free meals, wine, in the lobby most nights of the week, and I never say no to free food or drink haha. The rooms were very spacious and clean. My bed was perfect, I slept like a baby. Not to mention you are a hop, skip, and a jump from Kent which is a beautiful town to explore, party, chill, or do anything your heart desires, so all this and a very accommodating staff? YES PLEASE! Great hotel.
We stayed in a two bedroom master suite with our dog in tow. This is a really good chain hotel. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Next to the hotel is a great paved bike trail that offered a nice place to walk the doggo! Lots of food choices to buy in the pantry, and breakfast was adequate with a fair amount of choices. All staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful! Price was reasonable, too!
This was one of the cleanest and nicest properties we’ve stayed at. The room was very clean and in great shape, and my wife and kids never felt concerned about the cleanliness or quality of the room. The pool was a bit chilly, but the kids still enjoyed it. Would absolutely, 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
We got 2 bedroom suite. Awesome for teenagers to have their own bed TV and bathroom. Bed was comfortable but dont like a bunch of small pillows. The kitchen is nice too, Breakfast for us was ok. Eggs were way too salty and only 1 waffle maker. Needs a little improvement. The staff was very friendly. Overall nice would stay again.
Our experience at Staybridge Suites was excellent. The room was clean, the employees wonderful, I definitely recommend staying here. They do have a pool and a hot tub, however both were closed for cleaning when we went to check them out. The breakfast buffet was nice and had some different options than what usually comes included at many hotels. They even offer a dinner buffet that is included with the price of the room! The employees were all very nice and great at giving directions in the area. Our room was very clean and had a small fridge, stovetop, kitchen sink, and most common kitchenware included. It is easy to find the location and there are many restaurants located very close if you wish to eat out.
We loved our stay - the bed was very comfortable, the suite was clean and we didnt hear any noise in the other rooms or in the halls while we were sleeping. The front desk was always friendly and helpful when we asked about the local biking trail or places for dinner. The breakfast was a bit better than the average free breakfast, and we loved the hot tub after a long ride. Storing our bikes on the same floor was a sweet treat! Wed stay here again !
I was blown away by the quality of this hotel. I had never stayed at a Staybridge before. The hotel and grounds were clean and beautifully maintained. The entire property gave off a vibe of solid and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the swimming pool and the theater room. We could have used some more towels (they were a little short the night of our viist) for swimming, but we survived. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. When my kids couldnt figure out the DVD and Surround Sound system in the theater room, the front desk clerk knew EXACTLY what to do..
Guest service at check in was outstanding. The gentleman that checked us in and out was very polite, professional and personable. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was definitely not the best I have had at a hotel and the set up made it difficult for the quantity of people attempting to get food.
With the exception of me having to shower in my own dirt cause of a clog this place was great. The breakfast is impressive and dinner was also available. They had some water damage by the serving station which was closed of and wasnt really being worked on so seems like the eye soar will be there for months to come but they did pretty well adjusting to still be able to serve. Rooms are great as well as room service. Best part personally, great laundry room !
We have never stayed at a Staybridge Suites before but I would be willing to seek out this brand now. Everything from check in to breakfast in the morning was amazing! The staff is friendly and personable, not only ask me how my day was, but also my kids. The indoor pool is so nice and although you can smell the chlorine it doesn’t have the classic overwhelming smell of chlorine like most pools do. Our room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was a highlight for the kids; cereal, omelettes, sausage, make your own waffles, and fruit/yogurt, muffins, juice, coffee, tea, etc. We would have easily spend $40 on the same breakfast anywhere else. Thank you for a great stay and some time to truly relax, especially after stressful doctor appointments for my son at Akron Children’s Hospital.
We really enjoyed the pool and spa area. Room was comfortable and kitchen area was a plus to have. Breakfast buffet is included and had decent selection of food, only issue we had was with the promptness of service. We had appointments at 8am and breakfast was supposed to be ready by 7:30am. On Saturday, some stuff was out but. No plates, lights were of at 7:35. By 7:45 we had to grab stuff in napkins and leave. We mentioned issue to front desk and they apologized, Sunday was a little better.
This hotel was amazing. The rooms were spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Victor at the front desk was fantastic. Very positive, happy and friendly. Helped us find the best pizza shop and answered all of our questions happily. I would stay here anytime. We were celebrating my sons 2nd birthday and we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was more than I could have wished for. Oh and the beds were like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. I didnt want to go home! lol
My family of 7 had an enjoyable experience at Staybridge! Everything was clean, well-kept and up-to-date. The staff was delightful and helpful and the room was very nice, too! It is so nice that larger families have the opportunity to stay together in one suite than to have 2 different rooms apart from one another. Its just like home and we are looking forward to coming back again soon! Thanks for a great experience!
We had a 2 bedroom suite. It was wonderful. 2 full baths....2 bedrooms...1 with a king bed and the other with 2 queen beds. The mattresses were great. The bath towels are of very good quality. The kitchen was very nice and we used it a lot.Great for a long stay for sure. Will come back.
This was a last-minute trip to OH due to the sudden passing of my daughter. From the moment of arrival, the Staybridge staff was very helpful in my room selection and assisting me with my luggage. There was an issue with the heating unit in the room and they responded quickly
I loved staying at a hotel that makes you feel at home and welcome. The suite was clean and had a very nice kitchenette. The internet access was good and I had no problem finding a place to plug in a laptop, iPad, and cell phone. There were no noisy heating / ac window units to annoy me while working at the desk and the suite stayed at the set temperature both day and night. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and professional. I enjoyed the social room in the evening after getting in from a long day in the cold. I would recommend this Staybridge to anyone staying in the area.
Ive had the pleasure of staying here several times. The hotel and rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast is simple but good and well stocked by staff. In most Staybridge Suites Ive stayed in, this has been the case. What sets this hotel apart is the management and the staff overall. At times things go wrong for a traveler, how the management responds to it and resolve is the test. Meghan the GM of this property is exemplary. Had a few issues during one stay and she resolved with the utmost alacrity. Highly recommend this property.
My family and I have stayed at this hotel several times. But, this time, the experience was not as good. For starters, our room smelled like stale cigar smoke. It wasnt a continuous smell, but was noticeable the moment you entered the room and in certain parts of the room. At first we thought the smoke was coming in through the AC unit, as our windows faced the courtyard where people were smoking. But at night, when no one was smoking, you could still smell it. We told the front desk, who promptly sent a maintenance staff member to spray the room. This staff member mentioned that another guest had complained about a similar odor, so we werent imaging things. My wife and I are not a fans of the beds and pillows, which are far too soft. My back ached each morning. Normally, the pool is a big hit with my daughter. But, the first time we went to the pool, on a Saturday afternoon, there were a bunch of unattended kids, making alot of noise and splashing everything. We stayed about 25 minutes before leaving - it was just too chaotic. A return trip to the pool on Sunday morning was much better, as were the only ones in the pool. Although, there were no pool towels at 8:30 am. We will probably return to the hotel on our next trip. But, if our future experience is anything like this past experience, we will find another hotel.
My Son and I were attending a Basketball Tournament over the weekend and stayed at this hotel Friday through Sunday. Our stay was relaxing and we found the suite to be almost like home. Between games we would head back to hotel with take out food to eat and relax for a couple hours. All the accommodations were great...we really liked having (2) TVs in separate rooms as our tastes in entertainment differ greatly. The room was clean and I appreciated that room cleaning service was optional over the weekend as we didnt want to be disturbed and opted not to have the service. All Staff was very helpful and friendly.
This hotel is wonderful! The rooms are spotless clean, well decorated and the King Suite with kitchen, living room and separate bedroom is homey and so cozy. The staff are very helpful and friendly and provided us with info about our stay before we even arrived. So happy we chose to stay here and I cant recommend it highly enough. Five very large stars!
Our room was spacious and comfortable and very, very clean. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was right next to the lobby and we were worried about noise but couldnt hear a thing. The only negative was minor: the coffee could be of better quality.
My overall stay I would give an eight out of 10. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the food was great. My only issue I had was the breakfast seem to be running 15 to 20 minutes late Every morning. Other than that the stay was great!
This was one of my best hotel experiences ever, honestly. The room was perfectly clean. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and responsive to our needs. The variety of breakfast options and quality was impressive. The pool and hot tub were also very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend!!!
Just an overnight stay , but was upgraded to 2 bedroom suite via Platinum Elite Status. Staff were all professional and polite and helpful.Upgrade was great, as we had lots of room to have our son and daughter in law visit with us in our suite after a day spent all together and sharing dinner nearby. We sat and talked and played a board game in great comfort. The grounds and facility and breakfast area were spotless too.Had more of a full service hotel feel to it and we would stay here again when in the area.Easy highway access a plus.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Staybridge Suites immensely. We loved the layout of the room and we enjoyed the charm of the entire hotel. We were impressed with the breakfast items that were offered. We didnt take advantage of many of the amentities but it was nice to know they were there. We were in town for a wedding so we didnt get to spend as much time at the hotel as we would have liked. Beautiful place!
We decided to book at the last minute and found a great price on line..the reservation staff committed to honoring the price and the room and staff were well above expectations. Loved the room and the accommodations. The pool was very clean and open 24 hours with an amazing hot tub attached to the pool. Breakfast was very nice and service was amazing from the staff - from checking in; to the breakfast stockers ; to checking out - Web would def. stay again.. Fully stocked kitchen with an ice maker was a great convenience.
Ive stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Stow several times now and each time, its been utterly enjoyable. The staff is great, pool and jacuzzi is clean though the pool could be warmer at times. Free breakfast in the morning is wonderful however last time the food was cool but delicious. Could use a microwave in the kitchen area to heat food up.All in all, its a 5 out of 5.Thanks and keep up the good work.Tammy a Platinum Member
My four sisters and I wanted to get away for the weekend. Were from Cleveland, but we didnt want to stay in town for the weekend. We choose Staybridge in Stow. We had a two bed/two bath suite. When we got there we started our cleaning detail, you know wiping off the remote control, countertops, etc. I can truly say that there wasnt any dirt or grime on our cleaning cloths. AMAZING!! Kudos to the housekeeping staff. The suite was nicely decorated and quite comfortable. We enjoyed having three televisions to watch the many movies we brought. We basically stayed in for the weekend. The breakfast is to die for!!!! Bacon, bagels, eggs, sausage......Quite satisfying. Were planning another getaway in December. So excited!!!
The hotel appeared to be clean overall. A little disappointed that the room smelled of wet carpet. Come to find out air handler was leaking and creating smell. The television in the master bedroom had lines going through it. When I pointed it out to the front desk they indicated that they did not have a replacement and it would be replaced after I left. The iron didnt work so had to get a replacement from the front desk.
I have been on the road for two weeks and getting tired of plastic look-alike hotels. I booked this particular Hotel because it was close to my morning appointent. It was a wonderful experience and felt like a home from home. Zac handled my booking error with good grace and no fuss. Thank you Zac. Reception staff were welcoming and very pleasant. Suffice to say that I am going out of my way to stay there again on Sunday night. It will be worth the extra 30 min ute drive.I am from Australia and travelled overseas 10 times last year. This hotel ranks right up there when considering value and quality of the experience.Great effort Stay bridge Team !!
I enjoyed how this hotel tried to do as much as possible for hotel guests. Popcorn included in the rooms to cook when you wanted and beer/wine in the lobby for 1$ made it feel just a bit more like home. The room was very clean and everything was in good shape. Overall I didn’t have a complaint.
I try to stay at this hotel whenever I am in town. My family likes the two-bedroom suite and the swimming pool. The rooms of clean and comfortable. There is a great selection of tv channels, which my kids appreciate! The beds and the pillows are a too soft for our tastes, but we still sleep okay.
This was the 2nd time Ive stayed at the Staybridge Suites. For my sons 2nd birthday we decided to include some other family members and stay in one of the 2 bedroom suites. It was impeccably clean. The staff was very knowledgeable, courteous and happy. Victor at the front desk is fantastic! Ive had the pleasure of dealing with him during both of my stays here. Nothing but smiles and good attitude. The pool was refreshing and all of my family had nothing but great things to say about their stay here. We all wished we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be back. Also, did I mention that the beds are like sleeping on big comfy clouds? The best sleep Ive had in a long time. =)
I stayed at the Staybridge in Stow for 2 evenings while I was having construction done of my house. The hotel is very easy to locate, right off Route 8. Check in was super-fast and easy, Victor was very kind. The rooms are very spacious and very quiet. The Wi-Fi and cable did not even flicker once even though there was a terrible wind storm the second night of my stay. Breakfast was very satisfying and had a great variety of choices. The pool and spa was very warm even though Ohio tends to be cold this time of year. All the staff members were helpful and made my stay very enjoyable. I will defiantly be staying again soon!
This hotel exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved the managers reception. What a nice little perk! Every night of the week they have dinner and drinks (for a $1 charge). You never have to leave this hotel. Rooms were clean and mine was huge. Wish I could have stayed longer than one night!
The hotel overall was great, the reason for not giving them a 5 were the first person we came in contact with upon check-in was very unfriendly and she remained this way at each interaction. All other staff we had contact with was fantastic. Also, the internet service was slow and it is an open Wi-Fi and although password protected, I did not feel safe using the internet for any personal business.I picked this location for the cooking facilities and that they allowed the dog to stay at the hotel and as I felt that $75 was fair for a one time charge, it was ridiculous that I was expected to pay another $75 because I was booked for 7 nights. Why would one more night cause an additional $75 worth of cleaning? A nice touch would be awnings over the side entrance doors to shield you from the rain while having to use the key card for entry from the side entrances.
This Staybridge property was just what my family needed to make our 2 day holiday trip easier. I love the fact that I can bring my dog to the family Christmas get together and still stay in a hotel instead of having to board him. The included breakfast is perfect for a big family and makes the cost of the room worth it.
I booked a two bedroom suite for the Labor Day weekend and was disappointed with the room. The room smelled musty, so we switched the fan to On. It didnt seem to help. We checked in on a Saturday and I requested light touch service on Sunday, just for towels and make the beds. It kinda happened, but not fully. We told the cleaning crew we were leaving for the day on Sunday (around 10:15) and they told us we were not on their list. We explained we requested service and we wanted the room attended to, but that didnt seem to matter. The Staff, except for the cleaning crew was very attentive and helpful. For as muchas we paid, I thought the room would be better.
This is a very nice facility; clean rooms and a courteous staff. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a very convenient location for business and commercial interests in the area. There is an indoor pool and a well equipped exercise room. There are several restaurant options nearby. My one area of concern would be the maintenance of the pool area. Door entry keys were malfunctioning and not repaired, frequently the towel supply ran out, and one day the hot tub was ice cold. However, overall, I was quite satisfied.
This hotel is awesome. I was only there for one night, but I was very impressed with the suite. It was clean and well appointed - it had everything I could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The front desk staff were super friendly and efficient. Needless to say, I was impressed!
The room was comfortable, my teenage girl loved having her own area to herself. The bathroom had a shower only, no bathtub. Room was a little worn, but clean and comfortable. I loved that there is an option to bring your pet. I could see where itd be a great home base if you were spending a few days, with the full size refrigerator and kitchen, also nice grills outside.
Everything was very clean...floors,carpets,walls,furniture,appliances,etc. All staff were friendly, smiling, respectful, and helpful. There is a positive atmosphere in this place....very relaxing. The couch, desk chair, and bed were very comfortable. The heat/air was easy to set and worked perfectly. It was quiet at night... easy to get a good- nights- sleep.
This was a great hotel, awesome experience. Very nice decor and great room. I had an issue with my door key not working, and they quickly apologized and upgraded me to a two bed, two bath suite for the same price! Very clean and comfortable room, and bed. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...the suite was clean, comfortable, and the staff was cheerful and quick to respond to any requests. Mike at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with and went out of his way to see that we were well taken care of. The two others at the desk that I talked to were also very pleasant. The lady that took care of the breakfast both mornings was also very nice and cheery. The only problem we had was the highly chlorinated pool.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three days while hiking/biking in the CVNP. It was a new and very nice property in a convenient location - not only for the park, but also to enjoy things like outdoor concerts in nearby Cuyahoga Falls. The bed was super comfy and the 1 BR units were roomy (compared to similar hotels weve stayed at).I marked Staff and Service as only good. All the staff I met were super nice, but I had two issues: they seemed short staffed for breakfast, and the maid service was nonexistent.First, breakfast service: This consisted of one (very hardworking) employee running around raggedly trying to keep up with the guests food consumption. This seemed to be true Sat, Sun and Mon, even though I woke up at different times. The food service itself was high quality, but items were in short supply as the staff struggled to keep up.Second, maid service: The room was very clean when we arrived. However, during our stay, we cooked frequently in our kitchenette. While we expected to have to keep the kitchen and dishes clean ourselves, there was no maid service of any kind the entire time, not even to take out trash or change out kitchen towels. We took the trash down to the front desk ourselves and asked for more towels and trash bags, while other guests were piling trash bags up outside. Their maid service policy needs to be more clearly explained at check-in, and they should at minimum provide daily trash service.Overall, I would still stay at this property in future, at least in the short term. Longer term, Id worry about whether the rooms had gone downhill due to the maid service issues.
The room is beautiful and the hot tub is very warm the best hotel i have ever stayed at. Great breakfast and affordable price for the room. Want to live here also has a dishwasher, sink ,big fridge not little little ones ,and a pull out couch, and of course a normal about queen size. Definitely recommend BEST HOTEL EVER!
We all loved our stay! We had 5 suites for my daughters wedding. Everyone enjoyed staying at staybridge suites in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. All hotel employees were very nice and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the grounds were nice to socialize after the wedding. Breakfast was good too! Will say again when in the area. Thanks you so much.
We were totally thrilled with our time spent at this hotel. The room was very clean and inviting, the swimming area was comfortable and conveniently located. I was thrilled to find the outside courtyard had a grill for our convenience, and made our meals affordable a well as delicious. The on site movie theatre was an experience our kids will never forget! And the staff went out of their way to make sure we were at home there. Thank you for everything, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
The breakfast is awesome and changes daily being hot and cold choices. Most staff are very friendly. Sometimes need to ask for extra towels depending on the length of your stay. There were several parties going on in the hotel and we never heard any loud noises. Dogs are welcome there as well and never heard any dogs barking, it was quite pleasant to see animals just like home, all were clean and very well mannered.
Took 4 grandkids on trip including Cuyahoga falls. Picked stay ridge suites cause of separate bedrooms, breakfast included and indoor heated pool. Kids loved the pool (even though it did not feel heated) and hot tub, plenty of clean towels. Breakfast was over the top, better than most, with hot meats, eggs, oats, potatoes and fruits. An added bonus was the night we checked in they also had an included dinner (Monday thru Wednesday). Kitchen was a little lacking, no oven, very few pots and pans, 2 burners. It made cooking for a crowd a little challenging. There was not a dining table but a bar with 2 chairs. All in all we had a very pleasant stay. Would stay again if in this area.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Although we only spent one night, it is the ideal spot for a longer visit. It was very quiet, clean and spacious. Evening meal and breakfast were great. The staff made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again, if in the area.
We booked rooms at a nearby hotel with our relatives. When our relatives arrived at the other hotel early and found it to be a mess (thats a whole other review) we all scrambled to find rooms. We found the Staybridge Stow-Cuyahoga Falls and decided to give it a chance. We were able to book a suite for 3 nights on the day before Thanksgiving! We were thrilled.Everything about the hotel was pleasing and comfortable to us. We were greeted by friendly staff and really loved the atmosphere and the overall look of the hotel. It seemed to me that the staff took pride in the appearance. Everything was clean. Our room was fantastic. Bed comfortable, the kids loved it too. We had a tub that wouldnt drain but after we reported it the hotel quickly repaired it.The only snafu we had was when we asked for a room upgrade and they found us a room but after we returned later that day the room had been given to someone else and they put us into a smoking room. We ended up going back to the suite we had previously which was fine. A bit more cozy but still a wonderful room. The hotel gave us a discount for the trouble. They were REALLY very accommodating.Pool was great, breakfast buffet was really very nice (surprisingly large). Hotel has a new feel and sense to it (maybe thats obvious b/c it is, but it matters to me).If I had to go back, I would, in a heartbeat. In two or three years when we return for our family thanksgiving it will be the first place we try.
What used to be a great stay in a well maintained hotel had become not so much. Cleanliness and regular maintenance has suffered over recent years. Globs of gluck on the walls in the bedroom and bath are just scary. Tiles cracked, shower rod pulling out of the wall and spooky noises from the toilet all contribute to an uneasiness. We may consider somewhere else next time.
Im a traveling promoter/comedian and this is my second time staying at this hotel. The hospitality that the Stay bridge shown was awesome. The service, rooms, staff was all awesome. They even call up to the room after check in to make sure everything was suitable for my needs. I thought that was very thoughtful. They also have a indoor pool and spa. plus, a fitness and business center. If you dont want to sit in your room they have a movie room lounge in the lobby of to the side. this is a very quiet and peaceful hotel. I would recommend this hotel.Thank-you Stay bridge for making it comfortable for me
This hotel is a decent property. However my first impression ruin my overall all experience. I was placed in a room with no working heat. I called down asking to be place in one with one. I was told I had to wait for maintenance thats their protocol. I shared I didnt want to wait as I had an appointment and would like for room to warm on my return. Maintenance came looked said he thinks it needs a thermostat and he would be back. I said I could not wait and could I be place in a room with a working one. He got me into the next door room which also did not have a working heater. I call for him to return and was ready to leave property then he place me in a 3rd room and I could smell the heat was working. The experience took over 30 mins. IHG properties customer service is usually exceptional. Maintenance man pleasant apologize and resolved the problem. Front desk better training needed.
Ive stayed in this Hotel about 3 times when I come into the area. Its convenient to the locations I must travel. I like that there are stores I can shop in one exit down. I use to work at a Staybridge and I have always loved the rooms. Due to the weather the lights went out for about an hour but the staff was so very helpful throughout this ordeal. When I checked in the lady on the front desk, was absolutely wonderful and I am so sorry that I cant remember her name, she may have been the manager.
Booked a two king suite, was given a two queen bed suite. Room was clean, shower was warm at best, curtain rod almost falling off, and tub made loud noises as you were in shower, something shifting on the floor. Common areas needed vacuumed, I will stay elsewhere if I am in the area again.
Very spacious living area, comfortable bed, great breakfast, and an amazing courtyard. We were only there for one night, but we could tell how this setup is so very nice for a business traveler. With a great breakfast, a courtyard to relax in as the guest eats a meal, the light dinner MTW, large living area complete with kitchen and eating area, it is so very nice!
From the cookies and cucumber water when you arrived, to the excellent breakfast, my family had a great time. The staff were all very friendly, the theater room was comfortable and the kids enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was they ran out of towels at the pool. Our room was clean and had all the comforts of home. We will definitely be back!
On a quick (24 hour) trip to Stow, OH, this hotel was more than I could have expected. Great customer service upon arrival, resulting in an upgrade to a suite for myself and my colleague. We were unfortunately unable to participate in the free breakfast AND free dinner, but if time were permitted, we would have completely taken advantage of it. The staff were friendly and the hotel was quite, but well maintained.
This hotel is one of the best hotels in the area that is in the IHG group. The staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. I rated the cleanliness a little lower because there was glitter (hard to get it all) throughout the room and some grime on the desk/table, rest of the room was good. The rates may have decreased over the last five years and now are set to where I think is appropriate. The managers happy hour is the best. It ran Mon, Tue, Wed. from 5-7pm which includes food and drinks.
With the choices available in Stow, My overall experience was awesome. Sure there may have been a few hiccups, but that can happen anywhere, even at a 5-star hotel. In my 51 years of living, I have yet, to find an individual or business that is absolutely perfect. If you do not bring problems to their attention, how can they address them? Because of that, I am basing my review on my overall experience. The hotel is very nicely designed to accommodate a large number of Peoples needs. The front desk personnel was very hospitable. For the most part, any requests that I made during my 5-week stay were addressed in a timely manner. My room, a 1 bedroom King suite, was one of the nicest rooms that I have ever stayed in. For those 5-star hotel People, I would never expect 5-star services from a hotel that is not designed to be a 5-star hotel. My view on Staybridge Suites overall is pretty darn nice, especially for the awesome price that they extended to me for a long stay. One nice thing in Ohio is that after 30 consecutive days of staying in a hotel, your hotel taxes are refunded to your account. Now lets move on to the various services they offer. They have a really great breakfast with a large variety of food and the manager of that area was incredibly nice and accommodating. With the hours that I was working, I often had to take items to go and that never seemed to be a problem. Most free hotel breakfasts are just not very good and this one is certainly above par with regards to other hotel chains free breakfasts. Also, if you are there in time, they serve Dinner 3 nights a week, which allows you to socialize with other guests that are joining the dinner. That, in and of itself, saves you a fortune in food costs if you do not want to cook in your room. Their laundry room at this hotel has pretty nice washers and dryers and they offer those for free to registered Guests. Another great money saver when you look at the time and money it takes to do laundry in a laundromat and you dont have to leave the hotel to do your laundry. I found this to be a great convenience for me. The workout room is very nice with updated equipment and enough of it to at least perform maintenance routines while you are out of town or away from your normal gym. The indoor heated pool and hot-tub is open year round and is very nice. The room that I stayed in was a 1 bedroom King Suite. It came fully equipped with the basic kitchen items, a full-size refrigerator, microwave, two burner cooktop, full-size coffee maker, dishwasher and adequate counter space to prep and cook. If you need more space for prepping food, there is always the breakfast bar/table to work on which is nice and wide and pretty long. If you are a serious cook, you may want to bring some of your favorite cooking items to help you as they could never please everyones needs out there. My suite had granite countertops that looked new or very well kept up and the carpeting was nice and appeared to be cleaned regularly. The bathroom was roomy with a nice shower head for a nicely pressured shower. It also has a large closet for your clothes and a full-size ironing board and nice iron if needed. They even provide you with a laundry basket and hangers for your clothes. The Bed, Oh the Bed! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in at a hotel. So nice! 2 TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom with cable an on-demand and a couple free movie channels. Cleaning service: I read one complaint from a previous guest that complained that they only clean once a week and are not there on weekends. This was not my experience. It is true, for extended stay Guests, that they offer a weekly deep cleaning of your room. The guest that complained about this must not have inquired with the front desk. In your room, there are magnets on the door for the services that you require. If you dont want anyone in your room, you can put a magnet on the door when you leave and they will stay out of your room. If you do not place the DND magnet on the door, they will come in every day and make your bed and change out your towels and dish towels and make sure you have dishwashing soap for the sink and dishwasher. Could there, on occasion, be a little better attention to detail? Yes. But, overall, there is nothing to complain about with the cleaning service. The Staff there is excellent! The Manager, Megan is very nice as well as Taylor and Zach. My company messed up my pay several times and they worked with me to the best of their ability. Everything worked out and I really appreciated them working with me. The other choices near Stow, for the price, were not choices that I would have entertained staying in. They were not very nice places and they charged for everything. For what you get with this chain of IHG hotels, to me is a 5 star service for a 3-star price. I will stay at Staybridge everytime they are an option for the city I am currently in. Megan, Taylor, and Zach, Thanks again for everything and I hope to see you all again, sooner than later. Have a great rest of the year. Michael T
I only rated 4 of 5 stars because my room was next to a stairwell and a building entrance with a rather loud slamming door (for security reasons). However, I have stayed at this hotel on other occasions and the sleep quality was great. Regarding this stay, I booked the reservation very late and was granted early check-in as a courtesy, so I cant rightfully complain about some external noise.I have spent about three weeks at this hotel in total, and I highly recommend it for comfort, courteous staff, great breakfast service, and value.I love staying at the Staybridge Suites in Stow, Ohio.
While on a short visit to the surrounding area, I stayed at your faciltity, as I often do when I come home to visit family. I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff. I had a great room, even though it was a smoking room, I wasnt uncomfortable. Everyone from the front desk, to housekeeping and the breakfast area was fantastitic!! My guest kept raving about how friendly everyone was. My only complaint is that the toilet kept running throughout the night, often interrupting my sleep. I did mention this to the front desk at check-out and was told that someone would look into the problem. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
Great place to stay but a bit pricey.. Nice and clean. Really appreciated the free laundry. The pool was great, but it was so crowded and loud we couldn’t stay in there to use it. Very nice hotel. There were several people smoking on our non smoking floor, but I called the front desk, and they told me they’d come up. I didn’t smell it again.
Queen suite was very comfortable. Beds are wonderful. And sitting area is very nice for relaxing in the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and crisp bacon and many extras to chose from. We appreciated the fact that the pool area is open 24-hours on Monday - Thursday. With a late arrival we still had a chance to relax in the whirlpool.
I had a great experience with Staybridge from beginning to end, and from beginning I mean when I made my reservation. I called to make my reservation and the gentleman that answered the phone was not only able to get me a room for my stay, but he also managed to give me the group rate even though I called after the cut off date. He was very pleasant and efficient. I made sure to let him know that I will be checking in extremely late and he said he would make a note of it. I had no problems when I checked in at nearly 1 AM and the gentleman who checked me in, I believe his name is Mark, was very helpful. The room was very nicely appointed and very clean. I asked for, and was granted, a late check out simply by talking to the front desk the morning of my departure. Overall, I could not be more pleased with the experience I had for this stay.
This hotel is really comfortable. The rooms are spacious and theres space to relax. Having your own kitchen saves eating out every night though my only gripe would be that the equipment is a bit sparse on arrival but the staff can usually supply me with what I need when I ask. The breakfast isnt great bu I can make my own if need be so it isnt a drawback. I stay here now every time come to the area and its really well located for I8 and getting to the surrounding area. Ill look for Staybridge Suites now whenever I travel as my first choice.
I had never stayed at a Staybridge before this but have been to many other Very nice places. This was one of my best overall experiences. From the smiling and courteous staff to the beautiful clean, comfortable room and, fully functional kitchen, and the best ever ability to bring my pup. It also was close to the ski resort we visited. Felt like it could have been in the middle of a quaint countryside once in the building. .
We had two nights here and we were continually impressed with the level of service and friendly staff throughout this hotel. Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable! They provided all necessary toiletries, coffee, tea, and even popcorn! There was a small kitchenette in our room with a minimart downstairs to purchase items, and we were delighted to note that this hotel not only serves complementary breakfast which was delicious, but also complementary dinner during the week. They have an indoor pool and spa which is available 24 hours a day during the week. There are close by shops which include a nail salon, coffee shop, and various restaurants. This place is located just off the highway which made it easy to locate. They have a huge free parking lot.
My experience at the hotel was clean comfortable and felt right at home. This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. The reason I keep coming back is because I enjoy my stay there everytime. Two of the four times I stayed there my card key did not work out the door. The swimming pool used to be open 24/7. It no longer is and I would enjoy it very much if it was open 24/7. I really have no complaints except maybe a faster internet.
We stayed 2 nights in August while visiting a doctor in Akron. The 4 of us had plenty of room to spread out. We like having a kitchen in our room while traveling, with a refrigerator, and Staybridge has this. We checked in pretty late, and were missing items for the pull out couch, but the desk agent brought items right up. We were also able to get some ice, which was nice- the freezer needed time to make ice. Pool was fun, and our kids were the only ones in it! My kids favorite part was how housekeeping set up their stuffed animals on the beds! Breakfast was great, with plenty of options and everything was fresh and hot. The breakfast attendant (I missed her name) was super friendly, and very accommodating.

2022-05-24What a wonderful hotel! We stayed only one night as we were attending a concert at the Blossom Music Center, but would have been happy spending many nights there. The rooms are lovely and updated, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The only thing that wasnt so great was the shower, but not a big deal. Breakfast was basic, but very good. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again if I am ever in the area

2022-05-01Rooms were wonderful!! Great breakfast and staff was very accommodating & professional. Only issue was, we had 3 rooms and 2 of them had a TV that did NOT work!! Staff came up but we were just told maintenance will have to look at it in the morning. We checked out at 12 and maintenance NEVER appeared.

2022-05-18I had a really nice week long stay here. Good wifi, a good breakfast, good shower in pressure. A nice mini kitchenette in the suite to use on long stays. They also allow pets (2 dogs for $50, check the website or call for more details).

2021-10-13Greeting and check in were great. Got to the room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. The staff placed a machine in the room and sprayed deodorizer while we were away. Happy with the response. There were large stains on the carpet and the upholstery looked very worn and not very clean on the couch. Bed was very comfortable. No maid service was provided over a 3 night stay and no offer of fresh towels. Overall it was a good stay. Staff was extremely friendly.
