The food was great and the prices were reasonable. Portions were plentiful. However, I will not be returning.Listening to the waitstaff discuss other customers (including debating if they should be charged for... gasp... eating the bread that was brought to the table), their tips, and their social life was annoying. I figured next time Ill be sure not to be seated by a wait station. However, add in the chef conversing with a vendor or patron in the middle of the restaurant, using such foul language I noticed it, the entire meal. I cant imagine desiring that image for my restaurant.Top it off with the check has the option to pay via a qr code, so I did, left a generous tip, and exited the restaurant. The waitress chased after me, out into the parking lot, yelling, assuming I didnt pay. How embarrassing and rude.
Great food, wide variety, great service, clean restaurant, nice atmosphere. Just a little crowded. Seemed like they definitely made sure they could seat at max capacity and it was a struggle to get in and out of the place and to the bathroom because there just wasnt much room to move. Other than that no complaints and will definitely go back and try again.
I have enjoyed Station Square for many years. Mostly for special occasions or a nice night out with friends. This time it was celebrating my granddaughters birthday. Still just as good as ever. I have never had bad service and the food has always been excellent. Highly reccomended
Went to station square after church June 18, 2022. I was with a church friend who had never eaten there before. I raved about how good the food was and we entered the establishment and was seated. We waited for someone to come about twenty or so minutes which was unusual for me to wait. They ended up seating a party next to us ( not of my persuasion) and they were immediately addressed. I expressed to to waitress that we’ve been waiting for awhile and no one has even taken or drink orders. Her response was sorry about that and continued with the orders so we left. Needless to say my friend first time experience was a lasting and so was mine. Told management also and no one tried to fix it. I asked for the owner and was told he wasn’t there. All occurred around 2:00pm
Your experience here is going to be interesting. Your going to think your in a cafeteria with the loudness. Then your going to sit at your table roughly 10 min before any type of table service. Now you will receive your drinks which are served in wine glasses. Be conservative they only check your glass one time. Now one to the menu. Great selection of items. But very over priced for the location . quality of food varies on what your order. The kitchen must have watched food network in food preparation. Now when you receive your food make sure its all correct. If not you will sit there another 15 min with half your food on your plate while they other half is being remade. Now after your done eating. They are going to stand at your table with your check then try to push desert on you. Now the decor is interesting of the establishment. And the offer for valet parking is very comical .. Feel free to trust handing over your car keys in Liberty ohio. This place is a poor mans country club.
My daughter treated me and my mom to dinner and everything was wonderful! The restaurant was very busy but oour server was right there when we needed. Food was amazing. We ordered appetizers, drinks and entrees and everything was delicious. My daughter said her wife would be sorry she missed since everything was so good. As a life long Youngstown resident, I have eaten there many times in my 50 years and never had bad experience. I even buy their Italian Greens from Churchill Giant Eagle when they are available (hint hint.. havent seen them for a couple weeks. Station Square yall should get on that.)
The previous two times I’ve been here in the year have been disappointments. The hostess was not friendly, and the food was not up to par. Chicken in Carbonara was so dry and inedible. I believe this used to be a top-notch Italian Restaurant in the Youngstown area; however, it’s not now. I would be doing myself a disservice to visit this restaurant again when there are so many better options in the area.
Their food is the same quality as Applebees. Their steak tastes like poor quality chicken. They don’t know what medium rare steak is. Their fish tastes like watery chicken. And they will charge you even if they didn’t cook the food correctly just because you ate one bite. The manager acts like he is in high school, instead of fixing the issues he just laughs at you as you walk out.
Where do I begin? I do not understand how this place has all these great reviews. I wish I had taken pictures to just show how awful this food was! This was literally the WORST meal both my husband and I ever had at any restaurant EVER! The server Shelly was really sweet and that was about it. The salad was brown and wilted, shrimp cocktail was fishy, the cocktail sauce but wasn’t too bad, but our meal??? Omg! $29 for a 4” piece Chilean sea bass that was over cooked, burnt in the bottom, yellow and tasteless, by itself on a plate! Orange Roughy stuffed with unseasoned bread NO crab whatsoever! UNBELIEVABLE! The manager was “at the bank” so our server gave us desserts “on her”. Spent over 70 bucks. We didn’t want to make a scene. We left extremely disappointed AND we had horrible tastes in our mouths. This place is overrated, no seasoning in their food and the ingredients were of VERY poor quality. Where is Gordon Ramsey?? This place is a kitchen nightmare! We will never return or recommend this place.
Good food and great service but I wont be back for the simple fact that they nickle and dime you and it bothers me. Its upcharge to get blue cheese salad dressing, its upcharge to share a full adult dinner with a child that is small enough where they cant even finish a kids meal on their own. We did order kids meal for second child that we know can eat. Now waitress did wave child food sharing charge for us but its the fact that this place has this policy in place that bothers me. So nope, never again.
Everything I have ever ordered has been amazing, from appetizers to side dishes, main course and dessert, all spectacular. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Probably my favorite restaurant in the area, and priced reasonable enough to eat there regularly instead of a once in a while treat. The Char-grilled Ribeye, Risotto Carbonara, and blueberrys Foster for dessert are my favorite items. They also feature a full range of traditional Italian dishes, and every one I have tried was great.
Amazing service! Had an amazing waiter! Had a table of 5 an everyone gave a massive tip for how amazing. Also entertained us an didnt forget about us. Food was great. Filet Tip Stroganoff will have you bring home a Togo box. Massive portions is what I like! Follow us for more Real Reviews!Need Certified Drone services? This is the third time we have been here. First two times were great. We had reservations for 430 yesterday. I have never been to a restaurant that was so noisy! My husband and I had to yell at each other in order to hear! Besides the noise from overcrowding the workers were dropping pans every few minutes. It actually triggered a migraine. So I couldnt eat. I asked twice for ranch for my appetizer never got it. Had to ask for bread. My husband ordered twin lobster tails for 52. When we got the bill it was 65. Waitress said because she put it in computer for the 10 oz not 9 oz. So we paid it. My meal was ok not close with the first two times we went. The lobster tails were ok but hes definitely had better. He had to bring 3/4 of his meal home because of the noise. Hopefully lobster can be reheated. Our bill was 150.00 for a ok meal and we didnt even have drinks. It was a 75.00 meal at best!
Totally excellent! Arrived with a 7:15 reservation for 2 at 7. We were seated at 7:20. The placed was packed. Catrina was our waitress and immediately made us feel comfortable. We never felt rushed. We ordered Calamari first, followed by Bowls of Clam Chowder. Both excellent. Spouse had the charred Ribeye with a huge side of Broccoli. I had the Prime Rib with Green beans. All excellent. We split carrot cake for dessert. We love this place.
There were so many recommendations that were on a Facebook group, we had to try it Deeelicious. I ordered the.blackened ribeye, hubby ordered prime rib. I dont have one negative thing to say about the place. Our servers name was Shelly. She was kind, personable and very efficient. We will definitely be back
Fantastic place. Was in town on business and asked guys checking me in at the Comfort Suites where was the best place to eat and they told me straight across the street. Crab stuffed mushrooms were fabulous. Brussel sprouts on marinara were very tasty. Had the 16 oz. Ribeye blackened and Bleu. Unbelievably tender, cooked to perfection and great taste. I was extremely impressed. This place will not disappoint.
On a mini staycation this weekend with my husband and we wanted something different than what we normally have for dinner. I found this place while Google searching restaurants in the area. Everything was excellent from the minimal wait time ( we sat at the bar, it was only the 2 of us), to the lamb chop popsicle appetizer to the main entrees ( I had the chicken parmigiana and my husband had the chicken picatta), right down to the Jacobs Creek Mascato wine. We finished it off with 2 cannolis ! Definitely worth the money and we will definitely come back when in the area!
An AWESOME experience I was there with my bosses from work. I got a promotion and finished training so they bought me lunch. The food was excellent!! They have a great menu at very reasonable prices. I got the CANON BALL salad and it was Bomb AF!!! Im definitely going again!!
My wife and a friend of ours went to dinner here in November for my birthday and it was delicious. My wife and I shared the 62.00 dollar meal on the special menu I ate the lobster tail and my wife had the Porterhouse which she had to take some home. We each had a baked potato and everything was great. Would highly recommend this place for dinner and I would advise reservations especially on the weekend
They absolutely will not give you a takeout menu. Went in on a Sat at 1:30 and gave us a dinner menu. We only wanted lunch. Edited: Returned 2 years later, $15 burgers dry and bitter. Waitress dropped off burgers and we asked for mayo. She returned 10 minutes later with it. We are done. This was during lunch with very few patrons .This restaurant is horrible. We have been there 4 times and had bad experience each time. We only returned today in order to use up our gift card. Money left on it but we will not go back. The food is nasty and service is poor.
Went for lunch. Always liked their chicken salad so my heart was set on that. My friend told me they had good eggs Benedict, a favorite of mine. So now i had to choose. Got the eggs Benedict and an order to go off the chicken salad for tomorrow. Eggs Benedict were delicious.
I never heard of this restaurant until I had a delivery pick up from here. Hubby and I came for dinner tonight. A bit pricey, but portions are large. He got prime rib, that was so tender and juicy and I got Spaghetti with mushrooms. Both very tasty. We both had to take leftovers home. Definitely worth the money! Great service, awesome food, warm atmosphere. Will without a doubt be returning!
Station Square is an amazing restaurant! Awesome cocktail, delicious appetizers and entrees beautifully presented, ample portions and succulent. We have been there three times, two Thursday nights and one Saturday night, and each time, our experience was wonderful, and the food, which was terrific on visit one, was even better, somehow next time! My husband’s charred rare 16 oz boneless ribeye was perfectly prepared, juicy and each bite flavorful. My son and I chose different fish entrees and each was wonderful. This week, my Dover Sole entree, which is a rare find, was unbelievably delicious. The wine list, according to my New Yorker son, is a considerable, well planned assortment of wines with very fair pricing. We have never been rushed even on a busy Saturday night. This past Thursday night, we sitting in a back room booth, by choice, and the happy crowd in the bar area enjoyed live music from the talented band Leather and Lace. Station Square is a rare find, enjoy it the next time you decide to go out.
I went here when in town for a business trip. If you are at the Hampton you get a discount when you show your room card. Food is good. Personally I wouldnt call it fine dining, but decent quality and tasty. The menu is vast, and prices are very good value. Service is fast, and staff friendly. I enjoyed my meal and would visit again if I were in town. I had veal parm, and the spaghetti sauce was delicious.
Absolutely superb restaurant. Italian American ,with a huge menu. They r good for charbroiling items. Biggest lobster tail Ive ever had, 10oz! Everything tasted excellent, the steak was my fav. It is a very nice, casual atmosphere. Also had a wonderful bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. 🦐
Good food, great service, horrid location.Had the perch picatta. Sauce was a bit congealed. Tasted great. Tried some other dishes around the table, and I liked them all. Our server was very good. Place was packed, people seemed happy, always good to see.Did not care at all for the location. Parking lot half the size it should be. There is a valet option, but I watched them park my brother in laws Mercedes behind what can only be described as some sort of halfway house motel. I hiked over a hill to the convention center lot, saved a few bucks.
I am homeless with 2 children, I came here last night and I didnt have much money but I wanted to get soup for my kids. It was late so I asked the hostess if there was any extra soup they could send with me, she went back and asked the cooks, she had the biggest smile on her face to bring me more soup. I just want that girl and all the staff to know that they helped us out so much. It was delicious and my kids are fed and happy! Thank you!
First time visiting. Im in town for business and the company Im at suggested we eat here for lunch. It was delicious. The bread and peppers with oil (apparently a local staple) was delicious. I ordered the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce. The marinara was very sweet, but overall the dish was delicious. Portion sizes were very generous. Food came out fast despite a large lunch crowd. Servers were very friendly.
Food was great!!! Service was very slow took almost 10 min before the server noticed us. You snuck in on me didnt you was the opening greet from our server. No the hostess sat us here lol. Then took 30 min to get our food. The food was definitely worth the wait. Dont let the service fool you some of the best food in the area!!!!!!
Very nice restaurant. The food is delicious, big portions, awesome wines, and the service is outstanding. I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and we had a very nice waitress. She was very attentive and even though part of our order was a little complex, she did an excellent job. Thank you!
My friend and I visited from out of town and we loved our experience! That charred rib eye was so delightful and my friend really liked her chicken glaze. I wanted to finish it but needed room for that tiramisu. She never tried that dessert before and loved it! That was definitely one of the best tiramisus Ive had. Soft, perfectly sweet and layered. Boxes were a must, round 2 is necessary. I strongly feel well be back before returning home lol.
Warning: Dont Eat Italian Food Before A 6 Hour Drive. But if youre gonna be around a while or have a short ride, the portions are huge, the food is awesome, and its very affordable. We came here after a trip to New England and we had way less and worse food at a higher price.Do head over there when its not peak visitor season, though, its a great place to be. Just maybe prepare your wallet.
I have NEVER had Italian food delivered that tasted, looked or was packaged as well as here! I ordered chicken Parmigiana & wing dings... the wings were crispy & perfectly seasoned, no sauce needed. The pasta was perfect & the sauce was thick & flavorful! Im DEFINITELY going to order from here again. If youre looking for excellent Italian, give this place a try. You wont be sorry
In town for a toy show next door. Place was packed. We had no reservations, however they took us. Super happy about that. Hotel recommended. Great food! Waitress was great. I did say we had a room key for the Hampton and she said she believed us and didnt need to see it. But we didnt get the 10% discount. Not that big of deal. Didnt want to burden her. Because she was slammed. Definelty check this place out if you are in the area!
After a long day at the beach I decided to stop and grab me a treat. While ordering the steak I specifically asked for charred Ribeye with a bloody middle and jokingly expressed how I love my steak. After I got home 25 min away might I add, I tried my steak. It was Medium well to the tough and definitely how I like my steak. I attempted to call the Station square to voice my concern. The managers tone was rude and condescending. In the past I order a steak from there once a week via Door dash but for now on Ill take my dollars to Firebird for my weekly cheat meal.
Heres the deal, Ive never had a bad meal here. However, I once customized a pasta to add spice and shrimp. They charged me an additional $12 for 4 shrimp and even charged me a few dollars for the spices. Wtaf?? Just no. I get charging for the shrimp, but $3 a pop!?! Ill just go to Sams club and buy a full pound of shrimp for a little more. And charging for spices is petty AF. Since then, I steer clear from this place unless my friends are insistent.
Lollipop Lamb Chops. Its an appetizer that is absolutely delicious. When we plan to go to Station Square, I always look forward to this appetizer. Everyone in our party talked about how good all the food was, not just the appetizer. My steak was good, as well, but I always talk about the Lollipop Lamb Chops.Chad was our waiter this time. He did an outstanding job. He gave us incredible service, even while the place was packed and he was dealing with other tables.Clean facilities. Incredible service. Delicious food. Great times.Love this place.
As an retired executive chef from Boston mass I know fresh seafood it was by far the freshest the chowder made me miss home they were out of the lobsta rolls but thats next to try the cod picata was a easy 10 couldnt find a complant and I can easy find them when it comes to seafood
We were travelling through and stopped here as its easily accessible off I-80. The manager was able to accommodate our large party of 11 with no waiting during prime dinner time. Our waitress was exceptional and very attentive. Dinner was superb with large portions (could have shared them easily). Wish we had a Station Square closer to home!
Excellent restaurant. If you get the chance to enjoy dinner here, please take the time to do it. This place has the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The service was incredible, our server Jocelyn was really great and the restaurant was very clean, adhering to all the COVID-19 rules. I really enjoyed my dinner here and I will be back!
Our server, Victoria catered to our every need! The food was excellent and we felt so welcome there. Not to mention they were able to seat 6 people right off the bat at 6:00! Talk about service! The shrimp alfredo was amazing, and the salad was outstanding! I would have loved to try the cheesecake, but I was too full by the end of my meal!
My girlfriend and I spent her birthday at Station Square and it was incredible! Jen the manager helped me set up a special booth with white table cloth, rose petals, and a giant stuffed animal I had got for her. The service was above and beyond! Our server, Kasey? Casey? was perfect, the live music was awesome, our drinks were delicious, and our meals were huge and mouth watering. I dont know if Ive ever written a review for a restaurant before but we have both been in food service for years and this was by far the best experience I have personally ever had at a restaurant. Id give it ten stars if I could.
Have visited this place several times a week and the food has always been excellent. Have not been here in a while so we came on Friday night! Called ahead for seating and got right in.Service was excellent! WAAAAAYYY TO MANY MENU OPTIONS! Sat in the bar area and just wanted to be able to carry on a decent conversation with the people at my table!!! PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE! The noise was deafening. Ended up that we all just ate our meals in silence because we literally could not hear what each other was saying. If your trying to conduct business with colleagues or have a romantics night out with some great conversation, I am not sure I would recommend you come here.Quality of our meals was excellent! KUDOS!!!
Good food and environment. We went Saturday night and it was very crowded but service was good for our large table. Food portions were generous. I got the Caprese salad and the lamb rack special. My partner got the steak which was very large! He was eating it off the bone.
They have a large menu with a good selection. The food and service is excellent. Zucchini parm is delicious and they had no problem substituting broccoli for spaghetti as a side. My husband likes their steaks and thats what he gets every time. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Im a truck driver and I ordered from this place on door dash and OMG the food was absolutely amazing!! I had red snapper, crispy brussel sprouts, asparagus and crab cocktail! I haven’t had good food delivered like this is years! Great job folks keep up the good work! The food was worth every penny I spent!
We are frequent diners at the restaurant, however, I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Horrible management service after we waited for over 45 minutes for lunch and we arrived only 45 minutes after they opened and it was not crowded. I will be sure to let Everyone I know Not to go there. We were told it was because of carry out orders and the pandemic. Are you serious? We have been in a pandemic for nearly a year and we still continue to support our local restaurants. Not Station Square anymore!
The food was cooked perfectly and the chef even came out to speak with us and see how we were enjoying our meal (I want to believe that he is also the owner of the restaurant as well). The wait staff was very friendly and didnt crowd our table like other restaurants do, he waited until we were done with one thing before bringing out the next thing. It made for a very enjoyable anniversary evening. I dont usually eat steak but I was extremely happy that I made the exception this time as it was moist and juicy and perfectly cooked as were the asparagus ... MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DINNER!!!
Just love this place! We went to the lobster and clam bake that they had last night. It was like a buffet you get two lobster tails and all you can eat food and dessert for $75 a person.Well definitely go back next year for the lobster and clam bake and also go there for dinner. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody thats after great food and wine.
This was an awesome place. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The Penne Vodka was to die for, the Zucchini Parmesan was delicious, and the Swordfish was wonderful. We shared a Chocolate Volcano cake that was utterly divine. Be prepared for a bit of a high charge. For the three of us, our bill came to $92! Worth every cent and we would highly recommend.
Wonderful table service, awesome wine menu and the food choices were great, although hard to choose from. I just couldnt make up my mind! Our waiter was very patient and kind, since this was our first visit we asked a lot of questions and he knew everything! We will be back! This time i had shrimp Alfredo, next time I want to try the blackened prime rib....
Service was wonderful. Food was tasty. My only complaint was that my chicken carbonara was short on chicken and heavy on noodles. But still very good. Our waitress was very attentive despite how busy the restaurant was. I usually experience the opposite at other places. The place was very clean and well decorated. It was a good place to celebrate our anniversary. They do have valet parking and while I didnt use it, I would suggest that you do. Parking is a mess due to the attached hotel. Well be back.
We are not from the area and found this restaurant from a google search. We had an amazing experience and the food was amazing above and beyond. If lived closer would go here All the time. Thank you making our first experience out as a family since Covid in a restaurant safe, comfortable and way fun. I totally wish I remembered our waitress name but I know she is blonde and so so friendly, attentive and helpful
The worst experience I’ve ever had. And to top it off, we were celebrating our anniversary! First, I called and made reservations. When we get there, they didn’t have our reservations. The hostess said she would seat us next. After five other tables were seated before us, I finally went up to the hostess and asked when or if we would ever get seated. They immediately took us. We ordered dinner and an hour and 10 minutes later we finally get our just barley warm veal Parm. My husband ordered a seafood dish, most of the muscles and clams were not open, which means they’re old or not cooked. The waitress came over, and she brought him another bowl of clams and mussels which half of those were not open.NOT WORTH THE MONEY 💵
First time here..ordered take out..chicken parmagiana....very disappointing...all the food was bland with no seasoning...chicken was like rubber and spaghetti was like jar pasta sauce...thought this was an upscale restaurant? Called and talked to front of house manager Adam and he stated all the cooks were gone and he couldnt remake because he didnt know where anything was? Then hung up on me while I was still talking? Wont ever again go back
Station Square was wonderful in every way - and has always been every time weve ever been there- for years!!!! My friend Deb and I each started with an icy shrimp cocktail, then had tomato - pepper salads followed by filet mignon with Italian greens. We werent sharing. We just have similar tastes - in just about everything - and we did deviate from the regular menu- the sides we ordered didnt come with the entree so we paid extra but the waitress had no problem and made the switches effortlessly. Our meals were delicious!!!- and, since we ordered so much food, we each had food to take with us for the next day.We did make reservations a few days ahead so we were seated immediately, however, those spur of the moment people who had not made reservations didnt have much of a wait even though people were lined up for tables. I dont think anyone waited longer than 10 minutes even though it was Saturday evening. Our server was excellent: she was at our sides the second either of us wanted something and I dont know how she did it because she had several other much larger tables at the same time!!!I give this restaurant my highest recommendation!!!! I couldnt find a single thing wrong. The restrooms were sparkling clean, plenty of parking, and great atmosphere. All contributed to a great experience.
Station Square is always busy during weekend meals, so call ahead for reservations. We chose to eat here at one of the most popular dinner times. The food was very good. Prepared well and warm when delivered. And because our service was slow. I am looking forward to visiting a time when they arent quite so busy. Parking is a nightmare. We drove nearly 10 minutes looking for a space to park.
Station square has fantastic presentation and execution. The waiters are dressed nicely and well kept and the food looks appetizing. But it does not stop there, the waiters are helpful, competent, and attentive. The food is excellent, my favorite part being the fact that they are not afraid to cook meat rare( I like to taste a little blood in my meat.) It is most definitely worth your time to eat here.
Hands down...THE best food and THE best service in town. We had the 7 course dinner for the seventh year in a row and it was the most AMAZING yet. Adam, Chad and the chef provided the most fabulous dining experience ever. The food, the service and wine was to die for. Thank you for the best ever!! Thats why we come back over and over and over...
So the waitress was hands down the BEST waitress Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My food (chicken parmesan & spaghetti) was HORRIBLE! My husband got clams and they were way over cooked. She literally did everything in her power to make our experience a good one. Even with horrible food the service made it worthy of going back and giving them a 2nd chance.
Always a good meal.Their menu balances the local food palette and it dances with a quality a food more associated with metropolitan cuisine. Wines are typically decent. This can be an experience, they prices are a little higher than most local places. Prices are much better than youll find for similar quality of food in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or larger City market. If youre cruising by from New York or Chicago you wont find a better place right off the highway.
This place was recommended to me by a friend when I wanted to eat somewhere upscale. I was pretty skeptical when I pulled in and saw that it looked, for lack of a better word, sketchy. Its attached to a motel. However, we went inside and were pleasantly surprised. Looks sure can can be deceiving! The food and wine were delicious, service was great, and atmosphere was lovely. Also, we went on a Saturday night and only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Definitely a diamond in the rough, and I will be returning soon!
Absolutely the worst experience ever. Our waiter was terrible. We waited 45 minutes before we had drinks served. The waiter took half of the drink orders and forgot to ask the rest of the table. Then he did it again with appetizers!!! Three different people from our party complained throughout the night. The manager did nothing. When dinner was served all but two people got their dinners. Theirs came out fifteen minutes after everyone else’s and they sat and watched everyone else eat. One person ordered a burger but there was no ketchup in the place. The manager said he would try to go find some somewhere. He never did. The food was mediocre. Not worth the money and wait. I will never be back.
The worst chicken parmigiana Ive ever had. Chicken so hard my child cant even chew i . Burnt bread. And terrible service asked 3 times for a booster or high chair for my daughter. Fiance had a steak yeah done correctly but absolutely no taste at all. Never again will my family come here. 1 and done
This is just a surprisingly random stop to have dinner and Im glad we did. the food was authentic Italian and delicious cooked perfectly seasoned perfectly it was just perfect. plus the selection of wine was amazing I wish we were not driving because we would have loved to have more.
Perfect choice for mothers day. No buffet, but a wonderful menu selection. I always try a dish that isnt available on the regular menu. The service was fast and the restaurant was packed. They accommodated a walker and narrow pathways well. This is a great place to go every day of the week. I highly suggest ordering the specials of the day!
Soup was luke warm , we were served frozen frozen pie. Couldnt cut it, what was the kitchen thinking when they cut that piece. Our steaks were good but asparagus again served cold. Very disappointed because it was always a treat to go there. Service was great!BY YHE WAY FREEZING INSIDE WITH AIR BLOWING ON US.
A true find. It was recommended to us by the receptionist and other fellow travelers at the Comfort Inn in Youngstown, OH. The food is tasty, the servers attentive. Both times we went there for dinner it was crowded and lively. There was a two-man-band playing and customers were clapping. It made for a happy ending after a long day travelling on the highways. Even though the restaurant can be seen from the hotel lobby it is not recommended to walk there, because there is no easy way to cross the highway.
This is my favorite restaurant in Youngstown-Warren. Ottavio is the owner and head chef. He is an amazing person and has such an amazing restaurant with the best Italian food. He is straight from Italy, so he knows how to do it. Everything here is absolutely delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is romantic and enchanting. The staff is friendly and accommodating. And the live music is the cherry on top. This is the best restaurant in Northeast Ohio, so make sure to pay it a visit if you are in the area.
We had our anniversary dinner at Ottavios Station Square. The absolute best dinner. Not only was our waiter awesome, but all staff made sure to fill your drinks if they saw they were low, or clear off empty plates. Never before have we had such great service. The food was the greatest as well. We will need to make this a weekly meal!!
We were in town for the Kane Brown concert. Was highly recommended by the hotel. Took about 15 minutes for our server to come get our drink order. Forgot our water, but did bring our bottle of wine. Flagged her down to order calamari. It was delicious, but halfway through we found a super long hair in it. They replaced it, but showed no empathy. Ordered cavatelli w/seafood and stuffed orange ruffy. Food was delicious, but I bit into a tomato that had a chunk of broke Mussel shell behind it. Sliced the top of my tongue. The waitress took my plate, and brought the bill. I asked for a manager and she said they told her to give me a free dessert. I paid roughly $90 for a romantic dinner, and got a mediocre experience. Wish management was more aware of their issues. Food was delicious, service and attention to detail were extremely lacking.
You’d never suspect that a exceptional restaurant was connected to a motel in this location. The food was delicious. The service was on point. Parking is a challenge. Edit: The menu at this restaurant is huge. The specials page contains more items then can be found at some other establishments. The veal parmesan is very good. The restaurant seems well kept, and well run. We will return for more meals in the future.
OUTSTANDING GemBest Scampi ever and tasty medallions in SS Youngstown Surf n Turf. Fresh juicy tender shrimp in a to die for sauce. Yummy, huge garlic mashed potato. Busy, happy place on a Sat. night.I have driven countless times from NY to Chicago and only wish I had found this sooner!
Great food and atmosphere. Really impressed by the calamari. Done with parmesan breading and an Asian dipping sauce. Not a usual pairing but an incredible match. Its labeled as Italian American, but I feel like Italian, Cajun, Asian fusion would be more accurate. Husband ate here 2x before for work and planned our stop in Youngstown in our road trip so he could take me here. Natalie was our server and very nice and accommodating.
Sad to say we were super disappointed with Station Square this evening. This was my favorite place to go for years. We had reservations, yet we were seated at a terribly awkward & small table beside the kitchen. Not only was our waitress indifferent to us, my hubby ran out of water 1/2 way through the meal-never offered a 2nd glass. I had a dirty butter knife, lipstick on my glass (before I DRANK ), found a piece of meat(?) in my salad. 🤢Ugh. Lamb chops were well done (ordered med rare), my scallops were undercooked -then pmy baked potato was totally rotten on one side. Did I mention this was 4:30 in the afternoon? So disappointed. Looking for new fave place 🤦♀️
This was a wonderful restaurant. My wife and I were on our first anniversary trip and came here several times due to its location and quality. The menu has a wide variety. We would recommend the veal dishes. The staff was friendly and when we accidently left our credit card one night they kept it safe and then returned it to us even though we had left the area. We highly recommend it.
I love this restaurant, but on thi occasion I was looking forward to the Colorado lamb chops. This dish finally arrived and had a strong foul smell and taste. The meat had to have been bad.. waitress questioned that I dont like the dish and seemed to be less concerned aboutvtge fact the meat was bad. Disappointing experience, left unsatisfied.
Food was great Ill definitely be going back for more of the appetizer I had of stuffed shrimp( Ill get then to go)... The only issue was our neighbor table ( party of 4 were seated at least 15 mins after us) and got their food before my party of two. In all we probably waited about 45 mins plus for our entrees. That threw the whole vibe off for us. Affordable we had separate appetizers, wine, and 2 entrees all under 60.00 total.
They told me that order was coming up, then after 40 minutes told me they didn’t have an order with that name. When I asked why they didn’t tell me they didn’t have an order with that name when I got there they blamed me. They then lied and said the food was still hot, it wasn’t and refused to do anything to make it up. Beyond disappointed and won’t return.
Delicious salads, great variety of sauces, meats, cheeses, They can accommodate a large variety of nutritional needs and restrictions. That is not just gluten free. This makes it so easy when a variety of dietary restrictions and the restaurant can accommodate very unique situations. Now, on to the raviolli with buffalo milk cheese. Hmmm. I developed my recipe from those of a couple local restaurants in Erie, Pa. I made batches several times that year. I had found THE RECIPE. It was filling but not heavy and bloating kind. It takes days to make them all for a party. I bring ingredient to make 2 or 3 batches if they are going too quickly. I think it was from Rachel Ray, many years ago (so, thank you to her or somebody the the Food Network for the boil and break the boil cycle). I might have to make some tweaks to my recipe. These are, definitely, the best cheese ravioli they I have had from any restaurant anywhere! Theyre a huge part of my checklist of recommending a restaurant. Next in line are the sauces, simple, complex or in between, and the pastas (extra points if the pasta is homemade)Do I recommend? VERY MUCHWILL I RETURN? ABSOLUTELY

2022-07-08First time here & as expected in a lovely way. The server was a very kind and helpful young lady who helped me pick a sweet red wine that was picked perfectly to my liking. I believe it was called lambrusco red wine. I ordered the veal marsala and it was devine and delicious! Beautiful spread of food and ambiance and I also got steamed broccoli & a Ceasar salad as sides. Everything I ordered is pictured below...the Cesar in the picture has both their house and Cesar dressing on it which was a fabulous mixture. Thank you. I will be back to try the lamb and other dishes!

2022-06-19Everyone is friendly and helpful, they have a good wine selection, food is okay. The first time I ate there, I ordered whole wheat pasta, it wasnt completely cooked and definitely came from a box. The gnocchi on my second trip was overcooked, but still pretty good.

2021-12-16This Italian restaurant had a large menu to select from. Try the lasagna and cheese sticks and both were out of this world. Service was very good and I enjoyed the ambience and decor with its Christmas decorations. Definitely the place to visit if you’re in the mood for Italian.

2022-05-21Thank you Chad for a wonderful experience at Station Square. Chads wonderful and friendly service was exceptional. We visit here from time to time and the food is always very good. Today we had the lollipop lamb for our appetizer, I had prime rib and my hubby had the broiled seafood platter. The lollipop lamb was so tender and nicely grilled. My taste buds are still feeling Heavenly 😋

2022-05-26First time at this establishment, I must say very impressive. The menu has many options to choose from as does the drink menu. Yes its a tad pricey, but definitely worth it. Ordered the Fried Zucchini for an appetizer and it was perfected, perfect amount of seasonings, fried perfectly and was simply scrumptious. Dinner I tried their Sausage Spaghetti and it was a homerun as well, Sausage was delicious and sauce was spot on. If youre out and about and want to splurge a little, stop in and give them a try, definitely wont be disappointed and youll leave full.

2022-04-03My brother took me there for a birthday dinner and I was thrilled with the experience. Although the hostess had no personality at all, our server was excellent and my dinner was beyond perfect. I enjoyed the strip steak which was so tender that I could have dispensed with the steak knife. I found my steak superior even to Ruths Chris.

2022-04-10One of the BEST places in the valley. Elite food that doesnt break the bank. World class wine options. Family friendly and a great separated bar-cocktail area. Chef Octovio is straight from Italy and loves to make people happy. One of the nicest, classiest persons you can meet.. and obviously a fantastic chef.Do not hesitate to go here. Youll love it!
