I wish I could give zero stars. I had a root canal done a few months ago, I’ve had mild on and off pain with that tooth since they did it and I let them know at my last cleaning (they did nothing), now I’m having constant severe pain in that tooth that should have no nerves. I called in the past couple days and today the scheduling lady was very rude, clearly didn’t care about how I was feeling and telling me they can’t get me in for 2 1/2 months. I’ve been coming here for many years and I will most definitely be searching for a new dentist. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I absolutely love State Valley Dental they are always very professional and they get the job done! My kids and I have been going to this dentist for over 15 years and it still has the best quality in services thank you to the staff for providing such amazing dental services
They were very friendly and were patient because i’ve had bad experiences with dentists so i was very nervous. And they corrected a lousy job from another dentist and now i can actually chew and eat without pain.
Im new to the office but everyone was so nice and made me feel completely at ease. Very clean, very professional and a very friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good dentist who actually cares about your well being.
Ive been coming to this office for a few years now and I absolutely love them. Dr.K and Deni are the best!!!! Everyone in this office is awesome, even the cleaning lady. Its a very clean facility, professional and caring staff. Highly recommend them.

The best experience Ive had at a dental office!! Dr.Young was super friendly and made me as well as my family feel very comfortable. Had my wisdom teeth taken out and I was done in 5 mins! I didnt even feel a thing too! Its hard to find someone and place to trust your teeth and I would gladly go back again!
These guys great.. Very professional..Right on with appointment time.. My appointment was at 9 am..Was done by 9:45... Had 3 teeth pulled.. Wasnt easy..Had to dig them out (sorry) Didnt feal a thing... Again very professional and caring..lf you need any type of dental work done.... This is the place to go
Very nice and professional establishment. We have been seeing this practice for a few years now. I chose to have my three Childrens six month checkup and cleaning done early in the morning. The office was not very busy and the wait time was next to about 2 minutes. Very pleased with the speedy visit as we usually are waiting anywhere from 15-30 minutes at their peak hours.
I waited a whole month with an abscessed tooth that needs pulled specifically to be seen by Dr. Marino. And when the time finally comes Im told he is no longer taking new patients and Ill need rescheduled for an even later date with someone else.. Not happy 😑
Friendly, helpful, skilled, thorough and professional. What more can you ask for? --- A year later and State Valley Dental is still the best.
I love State Valley Dental and Dr.Chung is great! Every time I have came here I have never waited long to be seen, everyone has been very polite and helpful. Whenever I have had a concern they always address it that day or work out and very thoroughly explain the plan of action. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone.
I have been going to this office for many years and have never had issues however I just recently switched to a dental office closer to me. I had my initial meeting with my new dentist today and they made it known that the work that has been done in my mouth has not been done thoroughly and that I grind my teeth which has done damage to them and that I have always been a teeth grinder unknowingly to me. I am a little disappointed the problems in my mouth went unnoticed.
No one really likes going to the dentist but the staff at State Valley Dental are professional and very personable and make the experience much better. Dr. K and Kristy are the best! I highly recommend their services for all your dental needs. You will be glad you did.
Ive been only been a patient here since February, but because of my tooth issues, Ive had 6 appointments already. Ive had to have 2 root canals and the follow up temp crown/crown appointments. Theyve been able to get me in promptly for the pain concerns which is always very appreciated! My root canals and follow-up procedures have been great, with no pain or discomfort during. I see Dr. Chung and he is great...very professional and very knowledgeable. All the dental assistants and hygienists Ive seen have been incredibly friendly and helpful. I have a lot of dental work I still need to do and I will be having it all done here because Ive been so happy with everything thus far. I would definitely recommend State Valley.
I had a crown pop off and my regular dentist was on vacation. I called 7 places but none of them could get me in. State Valley Dental was able to get me in the same day. The facility is very clean and modern. The staff are professional and prompt. I got an x-ray and the crown put back on in 30 minutes. They do good work and are very fast. 🦷👨⚕️👩⚕️🛋️
My aging teeth just aren’t what they used to be and they are a little bit problematic requiring some special care. They need a lot of attention. I am more than happy to tell everyone I have received what they need from Dr. Marino and his fine staff at State and Valley Dental. I’ve been in this town my whole life and I’ve gone to quite a few dentists who over the years who have retired or have passed on.If I could characterize Dr. Marino and his practice, I would call it old school compassionate care and concern facilitated by the latest in state-of-the-art dental techniques..
I got cavities filled and I didnt feel a thing. The dentist numbed me so well that even when he gave the novacaine injections I still didnt feel a thing. He as well as all the staff were kind, friendly, professional, and respectful. Who knew a trip to the dentist would be a great experience 👍

State Valley Dental is by far my favorite dentist i have ever been a patient of, especially Dr. K and his staff of dental technicians. He is always friendly, polite, and treats me like i was a member of his own family. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a dentist. This place I have a problem with the way you must pay before you get in the chair with insurance they over charge you more than what they are contracted to charge and you have to chase them for money they owe you.im moving on to another provider who values me my service and my top notch insurance and the money I have spent with this place
During my first visit, all the staff was kind and responsible, and Dr. Chung did a great job with root canal and crown for my molar. Since my insurance was going to expire before the next scheduled appointment to complete the treatment, the staff tried their best to find a cancelled spot for me so that I could have the work done before the expiry of insurance. Very friendly! Thanks!!
I was refereed to State Valley Dental by another dentist because he thought I needed a root canal before a porcelain crown procedure could be performed and they were on my Buckeye Health provider list. It was worth the one hour drive from my home to State Valley Dental because after consulting with the dentist here I realized that I did not need a root canal and I could get my tooth crowned with a stainless steel crown and it was all covered by my insurance, where the porcelain crown was not covered. I am very satisfied with the courteous and professional treatment I received here, and I like my shiny new molar tooth! I am grateful for the referral, also.I would also like to publicly thank the democratic party for The Affordable Care Act(Obamacare). It has saved my life more than once and has provided me with outstanding insurance through medicaid, including dental and vision coverage, for about six years now. I, very likely, would be dead without it. Thanks Obama! Thanks Biden! Thanks Democrats!

Dr Chung performed a root canal and 4 extractions for me so far. He does a great job ensuring as little discomfort as possible. Im not afraid of the dentist anymore 😃 Highly recommend!
I have a rare cancerous condition and had to miss a couple appointments with this Dental firm. Now they wont see me ever again because of the reschedules. Do not give your business to these people especially if you have serious health conditions apparently.
This office does great work. The fact that I missed 3 appointments in 2010 (last one being an family emergency)and it’s now 2021 and I can never be seen there again. Life happens I could even understand that policy for a certain time, but for life.Bankruptcy only lasts 7 years.
Had an appt today I showed up and they had canceled my appt because they said I owed 50.00.i offered to pay the bill they said no it had gone to collections!! I had moved since my last visit and wasnt getting all my mail so had no idea I had this bill...girl at the counter was very rude and treated me like I was a low life!! Made me feel very bad! Guess they dont care about people!!

This place has the worst customer service! They are terrible to their patients. Dr Marino is great if you can get to him!! Front desk needs major improvement on how to treat patients I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the awful staff they have there! Staff is rude, mean and don’t care at all about patients!!! Hopefully you will never have an emergency because they only take 6 and you have to be there at 645 just so you can get turned away!! Absolutely disappointed in this place and their lack of concern!!
So first let me start with how the staff are very polite and friendly. Even moved my apartment ahead 30 minutes because I was running late. However Im in the process of getting dentures and what a nightmare it has been. I had my surgery at a different location and have now been in the office 3 times and still havent gotten them yet. I would be really nice if the the process and time frame would have been explained so I could have planned for it.
Over the Decades I have been to far far more than my share of Dentists for Numerous Root Canals, Crowns, Bone Grafts, Extractions et al, mostly in Florida. Dr. Marinos State Valley Dental represents the Pinnacle of what a Dental Practice should strive for. I have never seen anything like it. It operates as a finely tuned machine with friendly staff that truly seem to enjoy their work. They also have an in-house Lab. Would strongly Recommend them to anyone in their service area. Give them a try and Im confident you will not be disappointed. .

I hate going to the dentist but Dr. Chung was great, gentle, and fast!The only down fall was waiting over an hour to be seen.Update: please reinforce training for the Dental Assistants to look at the chart prior working on the patient. During my visit today, the dental Assistant was trying to pull out my permanent crown and not the temporary crown. She only stopped because I told her that it was the incorrect tooth.
I have been a patient here for over 10 years, I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. In fact I bring the whole family here now. All the staff are professional and friendly. They have everything you need from orthodontists to dentists, hygienists and even a lab on grounds. Their prices are reasonable they accept most insurances and they always make you feel welcome. Keep up the great work.
I was very impressed with the care I received and the amount of time I was given. They were very helpful and caring about answering all my questions. The people I encountered were so very nice and they had all the covid-19 restrictions in place to keep everyone safe. I am only beginning my journey with this practice but I feel I have made a good choice!
An amazing experience, I went in on an emergency visit for tooth pain I felt with for 5 days and the dentist extracted it right on the spot, very friendly staff, very clean facility and professional, courteous. I look forward to continuing any future dental work here.

Dr. Chung was awesome. He fixed my molar (root canal) and crowned it in the same day. Very nice, a man of few words but hes compassionate and a wonderful dentist. Customer for life. The hygienist was amazing too, walking me through every step. The Doctor numbed me painlessly, I was so scared about that big needle but in the end, no pain, professional work and a FANTASTIC experience. The staff were outstanding. Cannot give enough thanks to ALL of these people.

Dr Damage my tooth I went to a lot of dentist and specialist they said have to pull my tooth out.And staff noted me can’t go there because I did write reviews on them say what dr have done.I don’t recommend no one to go there very bad staff and dr work on 6 people same time I guess maybe why he damage my tooth don’t know what he is doing.Very bad placeI did call to go pull my tooth out and the staff respond I’m noted not allow to come because I did write review.Im keeping my review and there is a lot of dentist.

I am having a tooth implant and all but one of the multi step procedures have been completed. This is a year long process and every step must be done right to get the excellent outcome all desire. The implant placement is critical and takes an hour or longer by someone with strong steady hands which Dr. Chung posses.I cant guarantee that everyone will have the great experience I have had but I am confident that every effort will be made to give good advise and do the job right.

I continually find that Dr. Marino and staff are truly professional and provide exception dental service and treatments. Also, I chose Dr. Marino because he is able to perform multple procedures without having to be referrred to another provider. Their rates are very reasonable and I constantly refer my family and friends to them.
My husband and I have both had extensive dental treatment with State Valley Dental. We are both very happy with our results. The team has extensive up-to-date knowledge, pristine facility, reasonable prices and excellent customer service. We would recommend them for the best care to all our family and friends.
Every time I come here I either sit in the waiting room or the chair for 30+ minutes. I can’t bring my daughter so I always have to leave her with my mom and have anxiety being away from her for so long. They are mostly nice and clean but they need to work on their time management. If you can’t take that many appointments at the time you say they’re scheduled, don’t schedule them! Very upset.
We have been clients or 7 years and absolutely love this place. The staff is very efficient and caring! My 3 children have been seeing Dr. Marino since they were 3 and he has always been very calming of their fears and worked well with them.
This place is a little pot of misery... I dont know what full moon they all got hired on but (nearly) everyone sitting at the front desk are snotty little trolls. The dentists are fairly rude/cold, which i dont care so much about as long as they get the job done, they do, but its a little rough. The only saving grace are the dental assistants. From my experience theyve all been really nice.
They got me scheduled quickly, and I had an excellent experience with Dr. Schween, who extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth, today. The doctor was *very* kind and caring (Im not ashamed to admit that I was a little bit scared!) The whole shebang took less than an hour. When he said were done, I literally didnt believe him! Thank you so much, to the entire team at State Valley Dental!
They send you texts to remind you of you appointments and if you write back to respond no they do not take you off the list unless you call. They even made Apts for me I never made and I still respond NO and they kicked me out of the dentist office for there doings. They aware to ruff and not happy people also in this office! And don’t get the old lady that does xrays she is so ruff with putting that rod in your mouth. They do not give you call reminders. There is so many staff members that they should have time to do reminder calls. I give this place a F

I went here because they were one of the few that excepted my insurance. I was there for nearly 3 hours. They lost my insurance information that they had called me twice for. They had me scheduled for the wrong type of appointment so i wasnt even able to have my cavity filled. Then said the soonest appointment for the filling was 6 weeks away. Scheduler became rude and seemed mad at me when I told her that I have no idea what my schedule will be in 6 weeks. Unless you dont have an option, go somewhere else!
WORST DENTAL SERVICE EVER! If you value your teeth do not make an appointment with them! Everyone is completely rude and it seems like no one likes one another. A got a very bad vibe from the beginning. Dr. Chung ruined three of my teeth with simple fillings because they were too busy that day. I requested another dentists to work on me for the subsequent appointments. He suggested I get three root canals for the bad fillings. On the first root canal he broke a file off deep inside my tooth with no hope for removal. He didnt even tell me until my tooth was completely closed. Nor did he offer to pay for an endodontist to take a look, knowing full well that my insurance wouldnt cover it. One of the dentist also suggested my daughter get a filling for a cavity. We got a second opinion... she doesnt even have a cavity. All they care about is money and how many patients can be seen in an hour. They do not care about their patients at all! And I only gave one star because I had to!
My family went to Dr. Marino for several years and were quite happy. However the last time I went, I was subjected to the highly questionable practices of a doctor they call Dr. K. I recommend the office overall, but take my advice and stay well clear of this Dr. K, unless youre in the market for some expensive and totally unnecessary procedures. He claimed something was going on with one of my teeth, and it should have a crown, after he had checked with the hygienist about my level of insurance. When I asked how the x rays looked, he snapped back the x rays looked fine, I dont need x rays I have my eyes!. I did some digging and found that this practice is used by some less reputable dentists to bring more money into the practice, by bullying and scaring patients with dental insurance into expensive unneeded procedures. It was the first and last time I will ever be in the presence of that person. Heed my advise.

Horrible place. Do not go if you value your teeth or your hard earned money!!Office assistants are rude, poorly trained, un-organized, and dysfunctional! I had to get a root canal and crown they Brooke a piece of the wood down in my tooth,root and left it. Then it was a problem with the bill I paid them for service before the procedure then 8 months later I get a call saying I still owe them right before my annual visit. I told them I paid they claimed the insurance didnt cover that my insurance changed. I said my insurance dont change in December so how was all the other procedures covered? Couldnt get an answer. Files a complaint with attorney General they responded with lies. Going to contact state department of dentistry to continue complaint. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE.

Anna was great! Quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The only thing that caused me to pause was one of the hygienists or assistants were complaining about an internal breakdown in communication between she and another employee and she used verbiage or language that was less than professional. As a customer/patient we should never be able to see or hear about internal conflict. You are in an open space so some things should be discussed/expressed privately not at 7am in the morning for everyone to hear.
My mother had a horrible experience at State Valley Dental! BEWARE! She was convinced to have all of her teeth pulled for dentures which was not necessary and she completely regrets it. The dentist even told her that if she didnt get them all pulled at once she would never return! Can you imagine that! After repeated visits she was told that they are done with her and dont come back. She is completely miserable and hasnt been able to chew meat for 18 months now and probably never will again. Another dentist confirmed dentures didnt fit. She spent way too much money and now isnt in a position financially to get things fixed. Just a very sad story and clearly a dentist practice that has no interest in satisfying their customers.
Had a denture mad there 3 years ago, and have had .nothing but problems with it and Dr.Marino. It now has broken 4 times.Went 2 weeks ago to get repaired for the 3rd time, Dr. Chung had to see me, as Dr Marino was out of the office. He took 1 look at it, chuckled and said it was junk, with no options of repairing. instructed his assistant to get a tray take impressions and let just make a new 1. Wasnt 5 minutes Angela, a secretary came in the room an informed me they would not be making a new 1. That this 1 could be repaired again, for the 3rd time. I asked to see Dr Chung again and was told didnt matter what he said Dr Marrino is the owner and had made this decision. I seen Dr Chung in the hallway and he wouldnt talk to me anymore about it lol. That was 2 weeks ago and it broke again last night biting a piece of white bread OMG. I just called and asked to speak with Dr Marino or Angela, and with no surprise they both arent available. I spent approximately 850.00 for the denture, paid 2 of the 3 times to get it repaired, missed countless hours of work dealing with it and setting here today with a broken denture waiting on a call from Angela who is in a meeting, really lol. will update when I get informed again how somehow this is my fault and they arent willing to stand .being there work!! Just got off the phone with Angela, who has read my review already. she is trying to convince me now that the denture I brought in for repairs was a temporary denture that was made in 2002, omg this isnt even humoring. I have been lied to so many times by this lady , I cant begin to count. just .cant believe it. all of a sudden my records have seemed to changed. this office has just done a anything to avoid dealing with there less than quality work. they are t willing to do anything, informed me that patients that give them poor reviews arent able to receive any further services. they have taken my money , made me a junk denture, that has broke 4 times in 3 years and will .o longer offer me any services. I had 2 implants to secure my lower denture and theres problems with it. Dr Marino retro fit an existing lower, and the cap inside it fell out. tbey replaced the missing 1, but the other 1 is loose and spinning around inside my denture. was informed that this is normal.. they declared they are tapered a d they .cant fall out. but when asked how the first when fell out tbey had nothing but excuses that it was something I did. in summarizing I have been. a patient there for decades, they have charged me and my insurance thousands of dollars, and when asked to fix there less than quality work I was informed I cant receive anymore care there because of my reviews.
I LOVE THIS DENTIST OFFICE, DR KAY IS ALWAYS VERY GENTLE AND HAS AWESOME BEDSIDE MANNER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. OH & THE DENTAL WORK IS ALWAYS ON POINT
Ive been a patient of Dr. Marino and State Valley Dental for many years. The service and professionalism continues to be great, even with all of the COVID challenges. I was in today for a cleaning and was pleased how gentle the hygienist was. My one issue with State Valley was that the front office staff could occasionally be rather curt and unfriendly. That is definitely no longer the case. I was greeted and scheduled for follow-up in a very efficient and friendly manner. I highly recommend this office and especially Dr. Marino.

Dr. Chung (is he really a doctor?) is a hack. He shouldn’t even work on prisoners. I don’t have the best insurance, but that doesn’t mean i deserve lesser care. He did root canal after root canal that wasn’t necessary, and he put stainless steel caps that did not fit causing a bite shift which broke adjacent teeth causing MORE dental problems. He didn’t even give the option for porcelain caps! If he would like to trump my allegations with his “medical education” i would welcome it. My brother is finishing his MD this year having graduated from U of M, my cousin has THREE DOCTORATES, DDS from U of M, MD in Maxillofacial surgery from UC Berkley, and Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery from U of M. Me? I graduated from a private art school. So, i gave trust and respect to a “healthcare professional” and what i got in return is total incompetence. Ive required more antibiotics than a sailor on perpetual leave the past 5 years from non-sterile practices at this office and i’ve given more than enough opportunities to make things right. Seems like you prefer the almighty dollar over “do no harm”.. do you even take the hippocratic oath?? I concur with the others here, your x-ray tech should be put out to pasture. She is a nasty person who enjoys hurting people.P.S. i have lawyers in the family too... wanna fight??

I got called about a cancellation 10 minutes after being placed on the list and saw the dentist this morning. Everyone was friendly, professional and it was a great experience.
I did not think I would ever have my smile back. I went to Dr Marino when I really did not believe anything anymore. So, he did sinus lift, bone implants and then the implants for my upper jaws, some front teeths as well as the both sides lower dental implants. It took at least a year ( I had to wait for sinus lift, for the bones implants to heal) but guess what? Dr Marino did a marvelous job and I have now such a beautiful smile. His work is worth my moneys, my time, and I cannot be happier. Hus wife does a beautiful job with lips job. Because for years I could not smile, I had her work with my lips- she did a wonderful job too. It is a huge difference between a nurse and his wife in terms of how to give shape to beautiful lips. She knows how to make you look good. Highly recommended.
Dr. Marino is simply the most gracious Doctor I have ever had. Not only is she professional, friendly, and flexible, her staff is, as well. I have no qualms about going to this particular doctors office and here is why: the results are amazing, the doctor makes sure to provide as little pain as necessary, and the doctor gives you her undivided attention, listens, and follows through with exactly what was expected.I have tried botox and juvederm once before and did not like the results at all. I was very, very hesitant to try it again; however, a friend assured me that Dr. MARINO was the best! I absolutely could not agree more and I highly recommend this office, not only for the phenomenal results, but also for the friendly, professional care from the doctors and the entire staff.As for the actual results, I believe I was given 7-9 shots of botox on my forehead and 1 or 2 around the eyes where the smile lines are. They are now completely gone and I have never looked so radiant or awake in my life. My previous doctor, who performed the same treatment and who is well-known, did not leave me looking so natural or radiantly awake and I actually looked puffy, swollen, and fake.As against botox as I was, I even surprised myself as to how much I am now for it and I surprised my friends as to how strongly I recommend it now but only if performed by Dr. Marino. I trust her completely and she will definitely gain your trust. She is the best and I have never been more confident, thanks to her.

Went for a cleaning, had Deni do it. She was so thorough and very friendly . i normally hate going to the dentist, but it was so clean and everyone made me feel so good, I will never be afraid again. I am. Happy with my dazzeling smile.

I would not recommend this dental office to anyone. A few months ago I was referred to this dental office because it was my molars and they do root canal. I was having pain so I went to my dentist and I just found out that they did not complete the work, even though the staff stated they did. I let them know about the problem and they was very rude to me like I did something wrong. So now I have to find someone to go behind another doctor work because they messed up.

Find somewhere else from the dentist to the staff 👎🏾I have been a patient for years receiving cleanings but after an unfortunate accident I needed treatment and I feel like he was in a rush and that’s not good dealing with a persons teeth!! I am never going back. I didn’t even receive after care instructions.

Horrible experience at this place. Dr. Chung ruined my tooth. He didnt fix it right. After a follow up he didnt even care that Im not able to chew using that tooth anymore. He has poor social skills. He does not explain anything about my tooth. Never again!

Dental hygienist said i couldnt go back with my son while he was getting his filling. hes 7. she said the doctor doesnt allow it. he was crying and holding me and i made him go. they didnt even care.

I was trying to figure out why State Valley Dental had a Google Score less than 4 stars. It seems those scores are because of time constraints and or delays, and confusion/misplaced scheduled appointments, of which I can understand , to a degree.I will say that my first appointment with State Valley Dental was in 2010. I very much enjoyed the small town family atmosphere it had, and kept on having with each visit after that. It provided us clients with something not general found at doctors or dentists office . There was an absence of the sterile and mundane . I felt at ease , and thiss going to a dentists office mind you ; mainly because of the special attention I received in a kind and family/friendly manner. This ensured revisits without worry.Now I havent been to the dentists in a bit, insurance things and what not, and when I needed a cleaning , I looked only for one dentists office, State Valley Dental. You tend to return to doors that open politely .I was glad to see my dental associate/dentist still working at State Valley Dental. Shes a wonderful person who takes the time to talk and get to know here clientele. I was surprised to see her, for I thought another office would have scooped her up. I noticed some new machinery , so I asked her how long have theyve had it , and does she like it. She stated it was fairly new, and that some of the most recent updates/software was supposed to help.When I heard this , I thought the modifications/updates must have been put in place for corrective and or higher productive purposes, of which it was. My wonderful dentists seemed to be on a clock, for I felt rushed. of which , is something uncommon for her.I can understand the companies reason for doing so is to address and correct some if the issues brought up by State Valleys clientele .I also know that it takes time for their employees to merge their talents with the modifications. All companies make adjustments, good or bad. Time will tell.Will I go back to State Valley Dental , certainly yes.I did think of these song lyrics right after my visit though. Gonna cruise out of this city . Head down to the sea . Gonna shout out at the ocean , HEY its Me . i feel like a number Im not a number bob seger .edit . Tuesday August 18th.I just moved the 4 sparkling ✨ to a 5 .Why, simple. All that was said above was in fact what it was, an adjustment to new policies and software updates.Back was the family friendly atmosphere . I felt that I was not just a customer/number , and that I had a name , of which they remembered. Like the pine trees lining the winding road I got a name, I got a name Like the singing bird and the croaking toad I got a name, I got a name I Got A Namejim croce.Oh, War Of The Worlds 1953 written by HG Wells ,popularized by Orson Wells 1938 broadcast.Tom Cruises 2005 film is still decent, but its the alien ships of the 1953 I was thinking of.again, thank you.
I absolutely love my hygienist, and my dentist at State Valley. Never have I felt more comfortable going to the dentist, and actually look forward to it.
The best visit to the dentist I have ever had. The dental assistant was wonderful. She did the best cleaning ever - typically my teeth and gums ache after, but she was able to do a thorough job without leaving me in pain the rest of the day. She also gave me very useful information and insight into how to take better care of my oral health. Things I wish I knew a long time ago. The dentist was also great and I’m very thankful.

2022-04-19I love this dentist office. The staff is wonderful. Always professional but caring. I have had to have some dental work done and while that hasnt been my favorite thing to do, coming here has made it a bit easier. Never had a problem scheduling appointments. I have never had to wait too long to be seen. All the staff here is what keeps me coming back here. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

2021-12-07I absolutely loved this practice. They are very attentive to their patients. The staff is super friendly. You never wait long to receive treatment. The dentists are highly trained and make you feel calm and comfortable. I was nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed but they put my fears at ease. The actual procedure and aftercare was phenomenal. Unfortunately the policy on missing appointments is a little ridiculous in my opinion. Life happens! A little more empathy and compassion regarding that would have been appreciated. Hoping in the future they will make a change and I can go back to them. Highly recommended dental team regardless. :)

He is very professional,kind, and a perfectionist as a doctor.The staff are friendly and helpful to you as a patient. 2022-06-23When it comes to this office I cant say enough about how great they have treated me . From the warm smiles you are greeted with to the amazing care the dentist shows. Dr K is an excellent dentist he takes time to talk to you as a human not just a patient and often checks in as hes working on you to make sure you still doing ok . Hes very funny and kind which helps put you at ease . The office staff shines in their own ways with their kindness and willing to work with scheduleing. Hannah at the front desk is absolutely the best, she is incredibly sweet and professional, and really has gone above and beyond to make things work for me . I would recommend this dental off 10 out of 10 any day!

2022-03-16Last about one and half months ago I had an appointment to take my teeth and did it. At the same time they told me that I need to have a deep clean appointment m, someone came in and made an appointment for today. I came in early at 8am and doctor checked my tooth. In a second nurse told me I’m done and I need to make an appointment for deep clean and they have not made an appointment yet for that. I was like what?? So disappointed and I explained everything for the purpose of visit but can’t listen anything. Not make any sense of visiting and not even nice to deal with patients!!!

2022-03-14I had a lot of questions today. They were so patient and took the extra time to answer all my questions and made sure I understood my options. At no time did I feel silly asking my questions. LOVE the staff. Thank you for putting your customers first. We notice your treatment, attitude and helpfulness. 2022-04-02My wife was given a root canal and a cap months ago, went back a month ago for pain in the same tooth, was told she was fine and they didn’t see anything wrong. A couple days ago the pain returned and is getting worse everyday. She tried to call and make an appointment and was told that they only see emergency appointments at 6:45am, 3 or 4 a day, and it’s first come first serve!!! This doesn’t work with our schedule, as we have small children who need to get off to school and I work midnights. The scheduler on the phone could care less about our situation or the pain my wife was in, interrupting my wife, and telling her that she couldn’t get her in until June. State Valley expects my wife to be in pain, from a procedure they did, for two months!! State Valley was unwilling to work with us and was very unsympathetic to my wife’s situation.I myself called in March to try and schedule a checkup and a cleaning and was told they couldn’t get me in until January 2023, you read that right, January 2023!!! This place is a joke, you are not a patient at State Valley, you’re just a number!! I would not recommend this place to anyone, I’d give zero stars if that was an option. Worst dental practice in Northeast Ohio

2022-05-25Dr. Chung has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. He was visibly inconvenienced by my emergency walk in. He told me my tooth needed a crown and between sighs “it’s going to take a long time.” And? Isn’t that your job? Why accept walk ins if you’re too busy / not in the mood to address them? Then proceeded to indirectly talk me out of the procedure by blaming it on the type of crown my insurance will cover. So glad I didn’t stay and pay out of pocket, he probably would have botched the procedure based on his bedside manner and attitude alone. Not sure why this practice gets so many good reviews. Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dental office.
