Jared made my and my husbands coffee this afternoon. They were packed and the other employee was on break. He didnt get stressed he stayed calm and did an AMAZING job. I was so impressed with how he handled himself
Slowest staff. Worst Starbucks, ever. If you can make it to Heath, go there (Kroger one & new drive thru opening). Some staff has been hired for years in the Newark one -- theres a few that purposely take forever. Have caught bad hygiene several times. So bad, that the lady behind me thanked me for asking the young lady to wash her hands before service. Coporate and secret shoppers need sent BAD. The town will thank you.Im a nearly daily customer and cant stand it. Only a couple good staff members... I mean, friendliness level / wait time / manners / cleanliness. Wait time is the ABSOLUTE worst out of any Starbucks Ive visited.
My 3 year old has to go here each time we pass it by for a pastry and juice. I typically do not get anything due to the prices. Way to high compared to the local places. Service is notoriously slow. Quality is there, to me its just not worth the price and wait.
So freaking slow!! The new location added sandwiches which is great except they were barely able to keep up with just drinks before. They desperately need to hire more people or more competent people who can handle a quicker flow of business and who are not suffering from eternal deer in the headlights syndrome.
The only 2 Starbucks between Newark and Heath are in the Krogers stores. Each one only has 2 espresso machine, so a little slower than stand alone stores, plus since they only have 2 machines they cant have the new blonde espresso which stinks. Always good to visit when grocery shopping though.

Ive been here 5-10 times in the past 3 months. Every time the workers are extremely rude! I wont be back. Specifically Haley has no customer service skills, I say this as I manage an entire tanning salon.. theres no excuse for how she acts.

Google maps asking me to rate my visit. I was krogering and there was a Starbucks in the store. Didnt get their product, actually picked up a large mcdonalds coffee for $1 on the way to kroger. It was yummy.
For the cost of an entire days food, you can buy 12 ounces of burnt coffee with too much milk and sugar, while supporting a large corporation that donates money to vile, inhumane causes. Avoid any Starschmucks at all cost.
The baristas are always friendly and willing to help get your drink just right, especially when youre in the mood to branch out and try something new! Great service!

Its a Starbucks... enough said for these most part, but this location has a great staff and when they didnt have what I wanted they were able to make a suggestion that was great, Im usually not one to try something new, but I gave it a shot and it was great. Thanks!
Very nice workers and my white chocolate mocha is delicious!! Mother in law loves her cafe mocha and sis in law loves her iced caramel coffee!!

Coffee is made well here and consistent. Sometimes it can take a while to get my drink though. Getting through the line on a weekend can be frustrating.

2018-09-03A light atmosphere where every employee is great with customers and their teammates. Every one works hard and seems to have fun. They often have samples for customers to try. Also, they have a list of baristas with their favorite drinks attached. I really appreciate this because it allows for spontaneity, which creates a great connection between customer & barista. Whether you have that one special drink you go for or like to mix it up frequently with unique drinks; they provide great service worth returning for again & again.They have me hooked on the Starbucks white mocha doubleshot mixed with coconut milk, whip, & dark caramel drizzle. Thank you Kroger for hiring fun people who know how to treat people.

2021-02-20Please don’t be in customer service if you’re going to be mean and rude. I asked the older lady working who handed me my drink if she could sprinkle some chocolate on top of my drink (because it’s supposed to come on there in the first place). She looked at me like “are you serious” then put the topping on slid my drink to me then threw a straw at me. I was polite the entire time even said thank you she just rolled her eyes at me and didn’t say word. Awful customer service.

2021-08-30I love starbucks but your experience is such a hit or miss at this location. Barista named Apple was snippy and rude. She seemed mad she had to make my drink and was slamming around while making it with a huffy attitude.

2019-09-15Nice staff that has always gotten my order right. That being said... Good customer service doesnt make up for the location being short staffed and always having a long wait. On top of that there has been more than a few times drinks werent available because they didnt have ingredients. How does a coffee shop make money without coffee...

2020-11-06Wow! Have rarely been treated so rudely at any establishment. I asked if they had the reusable holiday cups and was told, I have no idea what youre talking about. She added (while waving her arms expansively), This store is FILLED with reusable cups! Stunned, I repeated my request and was told yes, they did, but (again, and again with arm motions), that they were FILLED with reusable cups. It was as though she was intentionally trying to embarrass me for not being a regular who knew the correct terminology. Apparently, I was supposed to mention red cups. I dont understand the reasoning behind this kind of treatment of a customer and dont want to return to be treated poorly again. Bad way to start a day.

2019-06-09Staff are incredible! That is a TOUGH job, and the Baristas are friendly and consistent. Even when they dont have everything they need, through no fault of their own, they go out of their way to make sure you walk away with a good drink.

2019-06-29I respect them a lot for the fact that scheduling does commonly put one person alone during busy hours. As a result, you may wait. BUT, they never sacrifice quality. My coffee is always fresh and the staff is always great :)
